Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Cas is the world of Athaira, which was conquered by the Trabuk. Since then the people of Athaira has been forced into a mandatory three years of service to the Trabuk military. Cas was originally been assigned as an engineer on the ship Calicos, under the General on the ship noticed him and reassigned Cas as his personal assistant. The thing that finally pushed Cas over the edge and made him seek escaping was when the General decided that Cas and all other Athaira on the ship needed their pointed ears docked.

Now Cas crash lands on a planet, Terra Nova, that is supposed to be devoid of life. But is not. There is a thriving species called the Talamachait. They are a cat-like race with fur over their entire bodies, pointed ears, teeth, and a tail. On his first night on the planet, Cas meets Zus, who claims him as his mate. Zus just happens to be one of a set of triplets, Zev and Zan, who also claim Cas. But Cas and the triplets don’t only have to worry about settling into mated life, but also fighting off the Trabuk who are determined to conquer Terra Nova.

I liked this book. I liked the new concept. With Stormy Glenn, the writing is always good, and so are the sexy moments. There just seemed to be missing a little something. Not enough that I didn’t enjoy the book, but just something I can’t name or describe. I am not sure if it was too short for all that needed to be told and things just moved t o o fast for me or what. But I honestly think I would have enjoyed it more if it was longer to draw it out a little more.

Either way, I look forward to the next book in the series. Because it is, a very interesting concept and I just enjoy Stormy Glenn in general.
