Blurb: Jonas Hunter is a high-class body for hire with a small, exclusive, mostly male clientèle who pay big bucks for his undivided time and attention. Discretion is Jonas’s middle name—he can play his role to the hilt for the client’s benefit and at the same time disappear seamlessly into a crowd, safely anonymous.

He’s persuaded to take on a new client who is everything he despises in a man: the effeminate, tantrum-throwing, attention-seeking bad boy of Paris haute couture named Nicky Bryant. Nicky’s shows are outrageous and always good for a front cover, and his appearance never fails to turn heads. But Jonas soon learns Nicky is a carefully maintained façade himself.

As a fiery attraction grows, Jonas and Nicky have to find a way to walk the tightrope between their public and private personas. They’ll need to learn to love and trust each other around the other people in their lives if they’re going to share their hearts.

Review: Jonas Hunter is a high-class body for hire with a small, exclusive, mostly male clientele who pay big bucks for his undivided time and attention.

I chose “Façade”, because I found the cover fun, I read the blurb and thought it sounded good. Then I started reading. For the first 80 pages or so of this book, I was interested, and thought that there was a lot of potential for Nicky and Jonas to find romance. Then, out of nowhere, there is a ménage (m/f/m). Which is not so bad in itself, but for me this started a kind of creepy feel to the characters.

Nicky has an undefined relationship with Tanna, his assistant and at one point has unprotected sex with someone else and, everyone is ok with this? Plus there are several sex scenes that may turn readers off, many voyeurs’ scenes, graphic manage m/f/m. The publisher should have disclosed that this was not a full m/m story, as I can’t imagine this would make many m/m readers happy.

For me there are too many gratuitous sex scenes that do not enhance the already weakening plot line of this story. Maybe the author doesn’t understand fidelity, which is needed, for me, to even begin to feel any romantic connection between the two main characters.

The reader gets nothing about either of the main characters back-story. You don’t believe that they can come to any compromise that would lead them to end up together. There is neither character growth nor any real journey. Jonas comes across as flat and Nicky is underdeveloped, too many gratuitous sex scenes that in no way further the meagre plot or relationship.

Some issues pop up, like a photo of the Jonas and Nicky having sex ends on the internet, but nothing happens, no scandal, nothing. Makes you question what the point of it was except to add to all the other unbelievable issues this story brings.

I felt especially let down by “Façade”, because of the engaging start, but, the author was unable to capture the fulfil potential this story started with. At this point, I am unsure if I will take another chance on this author.

Blurb: In the year 2081 our planet survived global warming of an apocalyptic scale. When the dust settled and the water receded Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few hundred survivors of GWI, started society anew. Having come to the conclusion that injudicious breeding played a huge role in the destruction of Earth as we knew it in the twenty-first century; he worked closely with other survivors to isolate the Dionysus gene. This gene has the ability to manipulate human DNA to ensure that all male children are born gay, and all female children are born lesbians. A new society is born.

In the year 2300 Dr. Smith’s descendants are ushering in the twenty-fourth century having maintained control of the government that still rules society. Twins Aiya and Aiyan are preparing to meet their matches and take control of House Gaeland, the current ruling House. But not everything is as it seems.

Love is Love… it knows no gender and doesn’t conform to restrictions and boundaries. Aiyan has found his soul mate in Kaden, the prince of House Devi that he is matched with and eventually marries. But when the person Aiya falls in love with tests the boundaries put in place after GWI, all hell breaks loose. And in the midst of one secret unraveling, another will emerge. There is a growing anomaly that threatens to destroy over two hundred years of progression. This anomaly is known as Opposites.

Review: Aiyan and his twin sister, Aiya, are both nervous to be meeting their matches; strangers picked out for them by their parents to be their spouses. But, Aiyan has nothing to worry about from the second he sets eyes on Kaden. Aiya has a harder time when she meets Maeve, her intended, because her eyes keep straying to Sawyer, Kaden’s adopted brother. Living in a world where being gay or lesbian is the norm and being straight leads to you being Outkast, Aiya is caught between doing what is expected and what she longs for.

This is quite an interesting story of a future society who goes back to basics and also makes homosexuality the norm. Aiyan, Kaden, Aiya and Maeve are the main couples in this story and while Aiyan and Kaden have a perfect match, Aiya and Maeve have to work at theirs. It doesn’t help that neither woman is attracted to the other or that Aiya’s eye keeps straying to a man. But, that is the least of their worries when a jealous servant causes trouble and a group of Outkasts seek revenge on the ruling Houses.

There are many people who play a part in this story and whose relationships we follow; Aiyan, Aiya, Kaden, Maeve, Raven, Tanis, Sawyer and Autumn along with their parents. It does get confusing at times, as to who is doing what and who is speaking because the perspective changes very quickly with no warning. But, you get used to the writing style and manage to keep up. There are some beautiful details that explain the history and culture and we get a lot of background details as to how the world now works. The actual storyline is interesting and keeps you reading as you want to know how it is going to be resolved, but then bam something new happens and takes it in a new exciting direction. There is some explosive sex with an array of couples, ranging from erotic M/M to sensual F/F to tender M/F; there is definitely something for everyone in this book.

I will recommend this to those who love a futuristic Earth, same-sex societies, hot sex, great characters, a good storyline, danger, kidnapping, rescues and plenty of hot loving.

Blurb: Willie Mae Dollar is lost in a blizzard in the backwoods of West Virginia when she lands at the home of life partners Jeff Antonetti and Linc Davis. She knows they are in a committed relationship, but that doesn’t stop her from being taken with Jeff and then Linc.

Although not a homewrecker, she can see where it would be great to have both men.

Jeff is very accepting of the idea. The partners have been looking for another person to add to their life, and Willie fits the bill. Linc has a problem because he has spent his life self-identified as an out, loud, and proud man. Willie challenges that and with the help of her adoptive Hispanic family tries to convince her guys that she is their lady.

Review:  Jeff and Linc are life partners, and have been for 20 years.  They are looking for a third, but Linc is strictly dickly so he says. Jeff is Bi but hasn’t had a woman since college, before he met Linc. Willie gets lost in a storm and ends up at Jeff and Linc’s cabin.  Has their third landed on their doorstep and better than that, is this their surrogate mother for their children?

I liked this story. It was written in a unique way with Willie talking out loud a lot. The story is a lot of dialogue and most of it is Willie even when she is alone.  I liked all the characters and even though this is a second book in a series you really wouldn’t know. It stands perfectly well and makes me want to read the first book just for the heck of it. There is a sweet, very romantic fairy tale type of romance, charming characters and lots of sex.

Now for what I didn’t like.  Just a few minutes after meeting each other, Willie and Jeff, a man in a loving relationship that hasn’t had a woman in over twenty years, go at it on the kitchen table. When Linc walks in, he isn’t mad at all, but shows a bit of concern.  Then after dinner they all end up in bed and he keeps saying he is strictly Dickly, but he goes at Willie every chance he gets, too. She also proclaims over and over she is a good girl and don’t have sex casually or one night stands.  Jeff announces he wants her to have their children and Linc says they can keep her but he still isn’t into women. This all makes the story very unbelievable. However saying this I loved the story it was sweet, hot, sexy and so romantic. I will be looking for the first book to see what if it’s about Jeff and Linc, since I would love to know more about them.

Recommendation: I recommend this to anyone that likes a bi-racial story, Hot Drs. Sexy PA’s blizzards and lots of three-way sexes. Warning this does have mostly Male on Female sex and is light on the male on male sex.

Blurb:   They’re an unlikely couple—Harley Sinclair, pilot and openly gay, likes fast cars, easy boys, and late nights. Quinn Lancaster, lawyer and deep in the closet, likes his life quiet with just that little bit of extra spice that engaging in a ménage with his wife, Miranda, and Harley adds. Neither of them can admit that there might be more to this affair than just indecently hot sex.

A lie soon breaks them apart, but when Miranda dies in an accident, Harley and Quinn are reunited by an even more unlikely couple—twin sons with different fathers. While Harley is willing to commit to the responsibility of having a family, Quinn’s fear that accepting Harley at his side will destroy everything he has worked for keeps them apart. But when Harley makes the ultimate sacrifice, Quinn realizes that sometimes, what appears to be the worst case isn’t quite so bad after all…

Note: This book contains forced seduction. Female on Male

Review:   This was a pretty good book. At first when I saw the woman appear I was like, “oh no. another mmf and gunna be all about the girl.” I was wrong. I am so glad I kept on reading. The woman’s part was short, but really important to the story.  So here we go.

Harley likes fast cars, fast planes and a fast sex. He is openly gay and very happy with his life as it is. He isn’t looking for change. Then he meets Miranda Lancaster. She changes his life forever in so many ways.  She comes on the plane and asks to meet the captain. He sees straight away she is interested, but he would rather have her husband than her.   He is in a randy mood and glad when they leave so he can take matters into his own hands. She shows up early and comes on hard and strong, not taking no for an answer. Caution this here is a fine line between seduction and rape; he does say no but doesn’t really fight her off.  A couple of weeks later, the Lancasters come back and she repeats the performance. He still tells her no, but goes with the flow. Then the story skips a little and he shows up at her house, ends up in her bed and her husband joins them. This is where the story gets good. The sex is hot. Very hot. Then the story skips again and he shows up at their house again. Only this time Quinn, the husband, beats Harley up landing him in the ER. When Harley really thought things were going great for them he was willing to accept Miranda just to be with Quinn (Quinn is a big lawyer still in the closet). The story skips again and it has Quinn showing up to tell Harley he has a son. From here the story really picks up. There are lots of more twists and turns heartache, agony, really hot sex, but overall a good story. It’s worth reading.

I liked the story a lot after the first couple times with the woman seducing him. Once it got to adding Quinn it got better, though I really didn’t particularly like Quinn. I wanted to shake the living crap out of him over and over and a few times to smack some sense into Harley.  My only complaint with the book was the skipping of time. Each chapter seemed to go from days to weeks to years; maybe a header would have helped. But, all in all, it was a good read with lots of twists and a nice love story which I am a sucker for. I like one with lots of angst and fighting to get what you want.

I would recommend this to anyone that likes a long story with lots of twists, men in uniforms, and suits, a bit of mmf action, fast cars, fast planes, fast men, great fathers, an mm story with children (family) and really hot mansex.

Blurb: Now he had the place. He had the lovers. He had the simultaneous come. And tonight was Halloween

He hadn’t expected it. Not at all. And yet there it was, Laurent De Berger’s heart wish was                a…impossible! And to think he had done it by the book, have sex in a dusty ghost town saloon with Anthony and Renée on Halloween night, only to find out…no, he still couldn’t believe it! But since there was no going around it, what to do now?

Review: Laurent has one true wish and he decides that on Halloween, after searching long and hard for what he needed to perform the ritual, he can now perform it and get his heart’s wish.

I thought this book was okay.   The story-line was really good and so was the premise of the plot.  I liked that Laurent was starting to want more than just sex and he went about finding a solution in a paranormal way; which left him open to the Demon realm. There is plenty of hot sex with a multitude of partners but even when he meets his soul-mate it doesn’t end happily for him.

Now my problem with this book is that on the publisher’s website it says GAY romance. Yes, that’s right GAY.  Now to me GAY means that it is men having sex not m/f or m/f/m but just Gay men having man on man sex.  I knew from the blurb that there was a chance of m/f/m for the ritual but honest to god until half way through it was mainly m/f and m/f/m with a tantalizing bit of m/m thrown in.   This was a major let-down as I was expecting a gay story. Now that you all know that, it may hit your spot just right but at least you’ll know what to expect.  For me by the time it got to the best part I’d already lost interest.

Now that isn’t to say it isn’t a good book because it is.   It is interesting to find out why Laurent is so addicted to sex with Renée and Anthony and to see the paranormal world being woven into a great story-line.  I also liked the way the story ended leaving it open enough for a sequel, if the author wanted to.

So I will recommend this to those who love m/f/m, dark fantasy, paranormal, m/m, hot sex (and loads of it) and an ending that has you pulling your hair out.
