Blurb: Half werewolf and half telekinetic, Santino Moreno is called the Devil for a reason. Lethal in a fight and dangerously seductive in bed, no one has ever managed to tame him. Searching for a way to heal his sister, Santino saves Zack, a bobcat shifter healer, and his crew of misfits from paranormal-hating humans and allows them inside the Devil Hills pack lands. Something about Zack calls to Santino’s wolf, and he can’t deny the scorching attraction between them.
Zack has done all he could to save the remains of his decimated paranormal community. He just lied to the most powerful werewolf pack in the country to save his people, but his deceit unravels the more he spends time with Santino. Zack lost his old home, but can he find his place in the Devil Hills pack and manage to survive his dance with the Devil?
Review: Each book in the Devil Hills Wolves collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Santino and his sister were created in the human lab to check the mixture of shifter and Espers. At the age of seven, he got his sister and himself out of the hell hole. Deacon had found them and brought them home. They gave their loyalty to him and swore to follow him anywhere. When most of their pack had been killed and Deacon took over the alpha position, he became one of the enforcers as did his sister. Now his sister was in a coma and he needed her to come back.
Zack had done the one thing he could think of, he lied to the alpha of the pack he wanted to join. Him and his friends were the only survivors after their pack was killed. Zack and his friends were not the same kind of shifter, Zack was an small bobcat shifter. He was the healer of the group. When he heard that the pack was in need of a shifter who could work with an Esper, he jumped at it. Then he saw Santino and his heart beat heavy and boy was he going to be in trouble.
Out of the three books in this series, I have to say that this one was the best. It had a lighter tone to it that actually made the story rock. The characters were perfect for the story and damn if they were not hot. This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me almost everything I could ask for in a story. I like the way this story just seem to flow of the pages and it went in the perfect direction.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I can honestly say that this is one of those stories that will be read more than once.
