Dogwood Days, the town’s biggest festival is looming, so Jefferson has to step up and take over his uncle’s job as the town blogger, even if that puts him right in the sheriff’s path.
Quirky neighbors, meddling family, and a sassy best friend all come together to make Jefferson Lee’s life in Holly Creek a full-time adventure. When he loses his job back in the city, Jefferson Lee has to start a new job search that will take him away from the town he’s learning to think of as home.

Jefferson Lee Davis, Holly Creek’s new Director of Publicity, is gearing up for the next big town event, the summer Rose Festival. The job is running smoothly, but the course of true love has hit a rocky patch. His hunky boyfriend, Sheriff Zane Yarbrough, is receiving mysterious phone calls he doesn’t want to discuss. While
Jefferson Lee is blindsided by jealousy, the second shoe drops with the appearance of a handsome stranger in the small tight-knit community. Needing answers, Jefferson Lee enlists his best gal-pal Clover Crofton to help find out what secrets Zane is hiding. When they land themselves in more trouble than Jefferson Lee bargained for, he and Zane face the first big test of their relationship.
Zane and Jefferson Lee must work through their trust issues if they’re going to make it as a couple, and Clover may just have a thing or two to learn herself.

Review: I have read a few books by this author and was amazed with the worlds she creates. This one you actually get two stories mixed into one book. Not only will they have you laughing your ass off but will also have you guessing. They are fun to read and perfect for cheering you up.
In Dogwood Days, Jefferson has left his home and moved back to Holly Creek. He moved there when his favorite uncle had a little accident but now it has made him the happiest man around. He has found the man he loves and everyone in town just loves him. He is also going to help them with their festivals.
Now it is a cute little quirky story that will have you laugh at the man. It seems he just has a way about him.
Then in Spring Fever he is helping his neighbors with the Rose Festival and trying to figure out what his sexy man is hiding. One mention of another man and Jefferson and Clover are on the hunt to find out more about him. It would seem his ass is jealous. However When Troy and Clover get in the same room, talk about fireworks.
This was one of the best stories I have come across in a few days and I was happy to read it. Although I have to say that it being an ARC cover and not finished kind of sucked. First off I would have loved to see the two hotties and gotten a look at it. Then it was a bit hard to read because it wasn’t fully finished but I got to tell you that I definitely want the final story.
This was one story I would definitely recommend.
