Blurb: Micah Faraday is an incubus with a rough past, one that includes being held captive by not one, but two psychotic madmen, and having a rough time acclimating to believing he’s worth being loved, let alone being a person. Surviving day by day isn’t really living it, and one day Micah made the decision to die. Of course, until he makes the mistake of binding himself to the phoenix named Erik Anderson.

Erik is exactly what Micah needs but doesn’t think he wants: grounded, stable, reliable, and he doesn’t know when to give up. He seeks to understand Micah and to help him through his pain, but he also has to contend with a world he’s not familiar with.

In the midst of all of the chaos that surrounds them, Micah and Erik go on a journey of learning to trust and understanding that some of the worst choices we’ve made end up being the best ones after all.

Review: Each book in Into the New World collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. There is something about the way that Frey tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story. This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break.

Micah saved Erik’s life when he bonded with him to get him away from the witch that held him prisoner. He had no realized that it basically mated them. He wasn’t so sure what to think about it, even though he did want Erik. He felt like he didn’t deserve his mate. However, he was turned on all the time.

Now that his master had been killed, he was running on hope. That ended when his home’s leader wanted him back. He wanted to beat, torture and possibly rape him. He was terrified and even more so. His family was in danger from the man. Now he could only pray and hope they find a way to save his mother and father.

Erik was saved by Micah and loved the fact that he was bonded to the little man. He did love to tease him by calling him pretty, although his mate did have a feisty attitude about it. He was slowly falling in love with the man who save him and bonded with him. He would do everything in his power to keep him safe.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the other’s in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Frey puts out a book, I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a bit of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me almost everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving, and having fun.
