Blurb:Todd and Daniel have been dancing around each other for almost a year, both afraid to take that step past ‘just friends’. Then Todd waits on a customer who introduces himself as Joshua, and leaves Todd a strange message in the form of a spell-infused coffee sleeve, gifting him with love at first sight. Their first sight long-since gone, Todd and Daniel both see the magical present as the potential end to any chance they have together.

Review: Todd is a coffee shop Barista. One day, a handsome man who leaves him a ticket for Love at first sight visits him. This bothers Todd because he has a thing for his neighbour Daniel and   they have known each other for close to a year but just flirt.  He confides in Daniel about the weird meeting and Daniel is a bit unhappy and wary since wishes don’t work on him and he is afraid to start anything with Todd that he will fall in love at someone else on first sight.

This is a very cute, sweet story of Magic and love. I would have liked to have more about each character since we got hardly any backstory and I would have loved to know more about Daniel’s secret and the Gifter’s secret, too. However, having said that, the actual story was cute, if not a bit predictable. But, a great sweet fun read for a night you need a little lift.

If you like, a good, short story about friends to lovers, and magical twists this is for you.
