Blurb: Falcon has had a rough life, starting with parents who did too many drugs naming him Falcon Byrd. If that wasn’t bad enough, ample trauma happened that his gift comes out early.

Then again, the coven leader’s mate being slaughtered right before his eyes during his first mission didn’t exactly help… And things didn’t get any better on the extended assignment he barely survived. But it ended the moment the Quebec coven leader was killed and there was no one to report to. And yet, coming back to Wyoming makes it feel far from over, and finding a drunk ancient offering to jump him doesn’t help.

When Gaius stumbles across the gorgeous young warrior rambling about the way life was supposed to be and everything that went so wrong, he’s never seen a more beautiful sight. For once, it’s not about sex and fun, but something deeper. But can he convince Falcon that’s what he’s really feeling after saying something stupid to make him laugh and all the rumors flying around about Gaius at the camp?

Review: Each book in the Warrior Camp collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I came across Flynn Eire when she wrote as Joyee Flynn. Her stories are quite different and very unique then many romances you come across. The characters are fully developed and will keep you attention from the start. The story will engage you and keep you wishing for more.

Falcon and his best friend El had been given an assignment, the problem was they were not warriors. They were two post trans sent to protect a coven from hundreds of zakasac’s. They were there when the only vampire with a brain was slaughtered and the coven leader went crazy at the loss of his mate. It was just up to the two of them. They blamed Alexander and the ones back home. Yet they were sent home and they had no clue what was going on.

Gaius is a bit of a wild man. The things said about him is making it hard for Falcon to trust. His mate is in trouble not just from the ones who wanted him and his friend dead, but the higher ups who blame them, and for Falcon, his parents.

This complete series and this one story are stories that will be read more than once. I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to read the next book. This is one book I would recommend.
