Review: Each book in the Warrior Camp collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Lex must protect his sister’s sons from their father. When she died he was always afraid that the man would show up and run with them. When the Wyrok gave him and the boys safety, he was still living in fear. Then Linden shows up and his fear racks up even more, for Linden is the boy’s uncle. It is going to take Linden some fancy steps to help the man he loves feel safe as well as the boys.

I always get a kick out of this author’s imagination and the worlds she creates. They always catch my attention and this story was no different. I must admit that I actually liked this a bit more than the others because they didn’t follow the same pattern as many of the others did. It seemed to flow even better than I thought. I got a kick out of the boys and they have made my favorite characters board. Action pact, candy filled and some pretty hot sexy times are just a bit of what you get in this story and so much more.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Blurb: Ellison was completely forgotten, some side note to the warriors at the Nowhere, WY camp and people he’d trained with. A vague memory some thought to check in with, but that was it… But to him, they were clearly saying he wasn’t worth checking on or saving.

Back after the hellish assignment in Quebec, all he wants is answers and people punished for what happened there and to him. And he really wants his past with Tadzio to stop adding to his pain. Having a gift that kills, one he had to use too many times, weighs on him enough.

The only hope he has that his past won’t eat him is an ancient at the camp, Seneca, who has the same gift as him. Even if he’s now suspicious of just about everyone, this one man seems to be able to easily vault that wall he’s put up to protect himself. The real question is—can Ellison forgive himself enough to open up and accept what this stranger offers him and heal his heart?

You come across an author that writes stories that are engaging, captivating, fascinating and just down right unique. This author is one of a kind, and her characters are damn hot. I get a kick out of this series, and love to read them.

Ellison and his best friend had been sent to a camp, abandoned and left to protect a whole coven. El has a very serious gift that is deadly and dangerous. He was the one that killed more of the Zakasacs then any post trans or warrior had ever had. It left him feeling angry and guilty. He blamed his leader, for they were not warriors. Yet they were the only two sent to protect a coven. Things are not what they seem though.

Seneca is the one and only person that can help El. He was born with the same gift, and had many years to get used to it. He was an ancient after all. He must protect his mate, get Tadzio to realize his mate was his, and protect the camp. Things are going to get real interesting real soon.

It is a very fascinating story that will catch your attention and keep it throughout. I loved the characters and the fight that they will continue to go through. I always look forward to reading this series and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book.

And yet, coming back to Wyoming makes it feel far from over, and finding a drunk ancient offering to jump him doesn’t help.

I came across Flynn Eire when she wrote as Joyee Flynn. Her stories are quite different and very unique then many romances you come across. The characters are fully developed and will keep you attention from the start. The story will engage you and keep you wishing for more.

Falcon and his best friend El had been given an assignment, the problem was they were not warriors. They were two post trans sent to protect a coven from hundreds of zakasac’s. They were there when the only vampire with a brain was slaughtered and the coven leader went crazy at the loss of his mate. It was just up to the two of them. They blamed Alexander and the ones back home. Yet they were sent home and they had no clue what was going on.

Gaius is a bit of a wild man. The things said about him is making it hard for Falcon to trust. His mate is in trouble not just from the ones who wanted him and his friend dead, but the higher ups who blame them, and for Falcon, his parents.

This complete series and this one story are stories that will be read more than once. I had a lot of fun reading this and can not wait to read the next book. This is one book I would recommend.

Blurb: When a never before seen zacasacs attack happens to their camp, it’s understandable that fear drowned them. The crazy circumstances even threw Gary into having his transition months before his birthday and blamed by some as the domino that started others to transition as well.
And not all of them survived. Plagued by nightmares, the post-trans spiraled for months. But now that they’re under control, there are months of training to catch up on, or Gary will be another first… First to not pass his warrior test as he should.

Lynx finds the oldest post-trans studying in the lounge once again, working his butt off until the guy falls asleep. What he didn’t expect to find out was the guy was stalking him, begging in his sleep to be in Lynx’s bed. A tempting offer, and one he wants to collect on but mucks all up. Now that the sexy post-trans is on his radar, can he stop being oblivious enough to get him back in his bed, or was it best to leave things a fantasy?

This is the type of series where you really need to read the previous books to keep up. It has been awhile since I read the others, so when I started I knew I had to go read them once more. It can get a bit confusing trying to figure out who is who and what is what. The good thing is the fact that it caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

It is a tale that is serious but has humor mixed in, but it also comes with a touch of darkness as well. I read this author when she used another name, but have noticed the difference in each story. The way they are told is what keeps me coming for more. Very unique stories I guess you would say.

Gary has had the hots for Lynx ever since he first saw him. He is now to the point of stalking, but a warrior never stops, so he is in for a big change. To top it off he was blaming himself for setting off the other transitions, all because he had his earlier then suppose to. He blamed himself for it. He takes blaming oneself to a whole new level.

Lynx is one of the oldest warriors there and is pretty much the player of the group. However seeing Gary a sleep does something to him. Especially when the guy starts confessing in his sleep about his stalking and well you get the picture.

It is a very good story that gave me almost everything I could ask for. I do wish for a bit more dangerous action time but it was still a pretty good read. I had a lot of fun with it and cannot wait for the next book.

Blurb: Camp medic, Sam Gatewood, had feelings for a blond-haired pre-trans, even though he knew better. Inexplicably drawn to Bowie Shade, Sam helped him years ago, in his time of need, but when Bowie attempted to take things further, he told him they should wait until after Bowie’s transition to warrior, that some distance will put the line they almost crossed into perspective.

But the feelings never went away.

Bowie took his hurt heart and devoted his energies to his warrior training, giving himself some distance from thoughts of Sam. Unfortunately, one of his first assignments outside the camp puts him directly in Sam’s path—the only man he has ever wanted. But maybe during a mission isn’t the best time to have the discussion about how they feel… What could possibly go wrong?

Even though absence is said to make the heart grow fonder, it doesn’t for Sam and Bowie. Will they learn to get on the same wavelength and look beyond hurt feelings, or will the distance between them grow past where they can reach for each other?

Review: This is book seven of the Warrior Camp series and they need to be read in order. It kept me from getting totally lost while reading and gave me an insight into the characters. It also helped me figure out what the hell they were up to. I must admit that through most of this story I laughed my ass off. I have seen some clueless men and women, what happens when communication is definitely not there. These two take the cake though.

Sam was a medic and doctor for his many of his coven. He also does physicals for the pre-trans. Those that will turn fully into vampires. However, in his many years he had never been affected by them. That all changed when a gorgeous little blond came in. He had even forgotten for a moment that he was doing a physical. He had told the little guy that he would not do anything with him till after he went through his transformation. However, he wanted Bowie from the moment he saw him. Time went by and things kept getting in the way, so when they were brought back together things kept getting mixed up for them.

Bowie had thought that he was not wanted. His feelings had not changed in any way, but with his lack of knowledge, he kept thinking that Sam didn’t want him. Even after their one night of hot sex, he thought the same thing. He wanted Sam but didn’t know what to do. Things just kept getting in the way and they just were not communicating their needs. Things had to change.

I know that it is hard to communicate with the one you love, but these two just seemed to make it harder. Also, Bowie, in my opinion kept running away at the sign of trouble. He came off as a child, but I suppose to a two hundred year old vamp he would be. I did love this book though. It gave me almost everything I could want in a story. The only problem I had was it seemed to just bounce around quite a bit.

I loved the two sexy men, the paranormal world, excitement, surprises, angst, hot sex, and just a hint of craziness. I loved the innocence in Bowie just not the running away part. It was a blast to read though and I would hope to hear more about them. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. Did I mention the ménage in this story was very hot? I would recommend reading this book.
