When the God of the Underworld sends Alstair back to the Academy to help pick out a new headmaster, he doesn’t mention he put Alstair in for the job. Angered but willing to keep his word, Alstair discovers the headmaster position comes with more knots of deception than a sailor’s rope.

Porter Exton had a crush on Alstair. He’d watched Alstair train Elijah through the window and had spent more than one night dreaming of the Reaper. However, dreams were set aside in order to discover the truth about his death and if the man who killed him is responsible for the other deaths at the school.
Two men with different backgrounds need to discover what they have in common if they hope to save themselves from plotting gods, egomaniacs, and possible killers.

Review: This is part of the Wizard’s Touch series and they should be read in order. Each story focuses on a new romantic couple. For me it gives me an insight into the characters and their lives. Now who knew that Hades had such a sense of humor? Not to mention when he helps you pack he makes sure there are condoms and lube. What a god.

Porter had been killed some time ago, living as a ghost and haunting new friends. That is until he saved his friends boyfriend, he was sent to Hades. He is now part ghost and part necromancer. He will be the next reaper that is if he survives his time. He had always known his death was questionable, but he never thought he would get a chance at revenge. That is until Hades paired him up with Alstair. Now there was a reaper he always wanted to give his body too.

Hades wanted Alstair to go to a conference for him. They were trying to get a new headmaster and Hades wanted his word known. Which is a blast for Alstair when he finds out that Hades put his name in for the job and sent Porter with him. It would seem Hades might be more romantic than he seems. Now all they had to do is to survive the test and those around them. But there is more to this then what it seems.

I love the paranormal world but this takes it to a new level. I mean you have shifters, elves, necromancers, gods, ghost and so much more in these books. I love the fact that there are so many characters in one book and they mingle so well. It was a blast to read and I look forward to the next story in this book. This story has a lot of twist and turns to it. If you don’t start with book, one you could get a bit lost with the story line. Trust me you will get a kick reading this story. It gave me everything I could want in it and in fact much more. It captured my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.
