Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Taylor pops off the screen. He is a vibrant smart ass. But he also hides so much behind his quick wit and big mouth. He is happy for his best friend Jesse for mating the alpha Micah. However when Gabriel doesn’t own up to being his mate it makes Taylor believe there is something wrong with him. Taylor feels like a throw away that no one wants. He also keeps a secret from everyone until it is almost too late to save him.

Gabriel wants Taylor so much. But Gabriel is very shy and hides behind an emotionless mask, so no one gets close. Gabriel has no clue how to talk to Taylor at first. Gabriel has so many issues, least of which is believing his father telling him, all his life, he was worthless. So instead of claiming Taylor he says nothing. Which only convinces Taylor that even his own mate doesn’t want him. When the chips are down and the worst possible thing is happening the whole pact pulls together to help solve the problem.

Each character has their own unique personality that gives something to the story. Either emotional support or to bring laughter, or they all have something to contribute. There are few editing mishaps, but they do not distract from the overall story. There is the relationship of Gabriel and Taylor, but there is also a broader storyline overall that is slowly opening up. What it means yet is not fully seen in this book. But get the feeling something big is coming down the pipeline.

I love the world the author has made and look forward to reading more in this series.
