Review: Each book in the Magnificent Beasts collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Sebastian is the youngest brother in the family and he is about to go out of his mind. He has had the hots for his boss and his best friends uncle for quite sometime, but he never lets Christian know. That is until his older brother brings home a human mate, and his best friend is still out. So with a few drinks in him, he blurts it out.

Christian can’t believe his luck. He thought he might be getting back with his ex, only for his ex to tell him he is getting married. He is getting married to a female and wants Christian to be his best man. One night out and he finds out that Sebastian has the hots for him. He invites him to the wedding. Things happen and well you will just have to read the book.

It is a very interesting and entertaining tale. It is also flaky, weak, and came off like it had been a rush job. There was great potential, but for some reason it just didn’t work out. Even though it came off rushed, it still was a fun read. I did like the characters, but their chemistry was not there at first. I mean one minute you were madly in love with your ex, then the next with one kiss your heart is being changed. Then for added juice, throw in an disaster, which could have been left off. The whole story was just off to me. I was hoping that the previous books were a fluke, but the writing just keeps going in the same direction. It is still an interesting read.

Freddie was about to go crazy. He is going through the empty nest syndrome. Two of his three younger brothers have found their mates and the third is never home. He is going bored with each minute. That is until he wins a free skiing trip. He is paired off with one hell of a sexy human.

Justin is broke, soon to be homeless and nothing good in sight. Then he won a trip of a lifetime. He might as well have a bit of fun with it. Then he gets an eye of his sexy roommate and well we shall see. Then things start happening that just might end them both.

It is a pretty sweet story, but it doesn’t flow off the pages as it should. It came off rushed and a bit off. Freddie might be an alpha wolf, but he comes off as a paranoid idiot in parts. In other parts, like with his brother, the alpha shows. Also is it just a pack of three, because even in real life wolves need packs.

I honestly not really sure about this story, but it is still a nice read.

Review: Each book in the Magnificent Beast collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jeffrey and his two best friends have decided to move in together as well as work together. He just had not expected it to be an all shifter neighborhood, seeing as him and his friends are human. Of course finding out was after he ran over his neighbor’s fence and pretty much drooling over the man.

Alex has an amazing family but that is about the only thing going good for him. His work burns down and he is left without work, and now his new neighbor has taken out part of his fence. Could anything else go wrong, oh wait the answer is yes.

The story starts off pretty good but goes downhill fast. They meet in a crazy way which is all good, but then it just moves at a fast pace. They go to the store for Jeffrey to pay for the fixings on the fence, end up in bed and damn they are in love. The story felt very rushed and too short. Then the assassin, well lets just say I wouldn’t hire him.

The story had a great idea but the follow through just went out the door. There were a few editorial problems that I saw but nothing major. The characters just didn’t spark any interest in me, at least not them together. The whole story just felt off to me.

Review: Each book in the Magnificent Beast collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Eric is a wolf shifter who is now on a mission. He wants to find out who is giving the assassins the silver that is being used to kill shifters. One had almost killed his brother and he was determined to find out who is responsible. That is until he found his mate.

Tyler is just trying to make enough money to pay the bills. Now that he had a six year old to take care of, he needed the money. His sister had passed, leaving him the guardian to Matthew. He got lucky with the new guy at working needing a place to live. He had the perfect apartment for the man and it would help him financially. The problem was Eric had a big secret that could get them all killed.

Now the story starts out pretty even paced with a great story, then after the first attack it fizzes right out the window. Also the old sex then automatically falling in love just comes off crazy. It comes off to me as a great idea, and then the author decided to rush the rest of it, instead of finishing the danger and excitement in the story. It had great potential but unfortunately the follow thru didn’t happen.

I hate to admit that I was not surprised, since book one was the same way. I had just hope that it would have gotten better with each story. I was disappointed to say the least. I hope that the next book will give me what I really want.
