Blurb: Deputy Joe of the Arrowtown Sheriff’s department has tried to hold his head up high his entire life, even though it’s never been easy. Carrying the Quincy name has been a curse he’s worked hard to put behind him, but when his two uncles get thrown out of Arrowtown because of their nefarious dealings, Joe found the courage to turn to the one man he thought would stand by his side. Being told he was “too young, too dumb and too well-hung” were not the words he expected to hear when his true mate rejected him to his face. As the man in question was the town doctor, it’s not surprising that when Joe gets hurt, turning up at the man’s surgery was the last thing on his to-do list.

Doctor Nathan Farriday (known locally as “Doc”) has lived a long life, and not always on his own. A long time Arrowtown local, Doc has watched Joe grow into a kind, decent, hardworking man – too good for him in other words. If asked, Doc could spout a long list of reasons why taking the man as his fated mate was a bad idea. Age and inexperience were just the easiest reasons to explain. The danger from his animal half was something he preferred to keep to himself. But when Joe’s family come calling and Joe is left badly hurt, Doc has to reassess a lifetime of bad choices.

Rampaging buffalo shifters and a bomb blast have the potential to splinter the tiny shifter town apart. In the ashes of the aftermath, the sheriff’s department work furiously to keep their population safe. But will Joe and Doc’s relationship survive the revelation of Doc’s biggest secret or will they be forced to leave the town they both call home?

Review: Each book in the Arrowtown collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Joe has had a difficult time and is pretty damn hard on himself. His entire family were banished from Arrowtown and their belongings were sold as restibution. He didn’t have a clue about his parents, but had been raised by his uncle. An uncle that was devious and crazy as an old loon. He didn’t feel that the twon folk really wanted him there, he knew his mate sure didn’t.

Doc knew Joe was his mate, hell he had known for two years. The problem was he was pretty cruel to him and they basically stayed away from each other. That is until his uncle came back and tried to kill him. Knocked Doc for a loop and brought his heart back into the workings. An old fool can learn something new.

They both had a lot in common, neither wanted to show their animal form. Joe was a big ass buffalo shifter where as his mate was a Komodo dragon shifter. Doc was the only doc in town and boy is he in for one big surprise. He has no clue and his reaction is funny as hell. Joe is a deputy and is pretty good at his job not to mention how smart he is. This story was fascinating and gave me everything I could want in a story. Hot sexy times, excitement, danger and so much more are just a bit of what you get in this story.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to find out what the twin’s names are going to be. Which means I will definitely be looking out for the next book.

Blurb: As far as Liam Lamont’s concerned, life sucks. His mate disappeared without a backward glance, he spends most of his time drunk and he has the worst case of blue balls in existence. Fighting his lion form is tiring and if it wasn’t for his brother Lucien, and the rest of the pack at Ra’s, he’d probably run off into the wilderness and never be seen again.

But even if life had thrown Liam a massive curve ball, the Fates hadn’t forgotten him. One night a mysterious stranger offers to buy Liam a drink and Liam starts to feel a glimmer of hope. But Theo, the mate who walked away, is still lurking in Liam’s heart and when faced with a second mate, Liam had no choice but to tell his new mate about Theo and give him a choice.

Beau Ferris had been told his whole life he would have two mates. All his kind did. His father warned him never to go after one until his pair already claimed each other. But when Beau’s animal spirit warns him of Liam’s despair and Theo’s anger, he couldn’t stay away. When he meets Liam he’s given a shocking choice – Liam or Theo – he can’t have both.

Stubborn shifters, a gorgeous fae toddler with magic flowing from her fingertips, demons, wolves, and even a visit from the Fates; Beau and Liam have to fight through fire before they get their third and the HEA they both dreamed of. But will it be enough.

Review: Each book in the Arrowtown collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and cross over characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Liam’s mate Theo rejected their bond and was quite nasty about it. It seems Theo didn’t believe that true mates existed. There were signs that something was desperately wrong with Theo, but it isn’t until Liam’s other mate showed up. Liam didn’t even know he had a third, but stranger things do happen.

Beau is a phoenix shifter and there were rules. One of the rules is not to look for his mates until they have already met, but something was telling him to go now. What he finds out, shocks him. But not as much as Theo’s reaction. Magic is spilling out, and there are some dark secrets. Fates have a big surprise in store for Beau and Liam, but if you must know read the book. It will surprise you, and in the best ways.

I wasn’t sure if this story was going to have a happily ever after to it, but damn if it didn’t give me a big shock. Not as big a shock as Beau was going to get, but pretty sweet. I did like the sweet and sexy third to the book. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I love how this author threw in demon possession, that was a nice twist that ended in the best way. Trent was sexy and sweet as hell, a real big plus to this story. Lisa’s stories are getting better each and every time.

It has a serious tone to it, but there is some humor to be found in it. I will admit that you should go back and read book one first once more, because the characters are all tossed around. I can’t wait to see Luke and Lucien’s story. I felt a little bad for the rabbit though, he really needs to get a job, but damn if he doesn’t know how to use his assets. I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to read the next book.

Review:  Each book in the Arrowtown collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I love the little warning about a flying mouse; let’s just say it was a kicker.  I came across Lisa Oliver some time ago with her first book, and have followed her since then.  Her stories are very entertaining and will keep you begging for more.  The characters are fully developed and you will fall in love with them from the start.  The story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

Simon has been on his own for some time.  He has no education so works three jobs to survive.  He is the cutest little mouse shifter you will have ever seen, and he is one sexy little dancer.  He has been dancing for humans for some time and even though he is good at it, he looks for a different time.  Then one night and his fate is set.  He has met his mate and he wants to run.

Simon is a big ass snake but who knows what kind.  His mate is a cute little sexy mouse shifter.  Two different types, one prey one predator and things are going to heat up real fast.  Especially since someone else wants the little mouse.

I loved this book almost as much as the first one.  It gave me all that I wanted and so much more.  I especially loved the fact that a mate whether prey or predator can get pregnant.  There are a few little twists that are so much fun to read.  I had a lot of fun with this book and would definitely recommend it.

His herd was hunting him and with few resources, Seth’s options were fading fast. Until, that is, he heard the rumble of a motorcycle. Peeking through the tree he was hiding in, he couldn’t believe his eyes. Had salvation come in the form of a badass biker?

Ra (no last name and proud of it) was a tiger on a mission. He’d scented his mate and then the little rabbit ran away before his teeth could engage. Ra heard the gossip around Arrowtown; he knew his mate was a hunted man. But if the sweet man was on the run, he needed someone to look after him; Ra figured he was the right man for the job.

A meeting, a mating and yet another meeting. What should have been a straight forward relationship turned into so much more on their very first outing as a mated couple. Warning: Contains a tiger who keeps putting his foot in it; a tiny lop-eared rabbit who is stronger than he looks and a bunch of friends who’ll hide a body, no questions asked.

Review:  Each book in the Arrowtown collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Lisa became a favorite author of mine when her first book came out.  The characters are fully developed and easy to fall in love with, just as the story itself is.  It is a very entertaining tale, but I have to say that this one tops the others.  It is Lisa’s first attempt, if I understood right, at male pregnancy type stories.  Which is a bonus, who wouldn’t think it funny as hell.

Seth is a very cute, little lop-eared rabbit who is on the run.  He is different than the rest of the rabbit’s in his herd.  He didn’t know that his herd was also stuck in the dark ages when it comes to mates.  He had been happy to find his mate, even if the man was a tiger.  Too bad it was against the herds law.  He was in deep crap and needed help.

Ra is a tiger with no last name and a group of friends who look like the rough bikers many expect.  They were making their home in a shifter town, but he was determined to find his little mate.  There is a big surprise in store for them both.

I got a kick out of this story and cannot wait to start in on the next book.  I love the idea of a predator being mated to a prey animal.  It just means the tiger can keep his rabbit safe.  I have always loved these types of story and Lisa Oliver just makes it rock.  I would definitely recommend this book.  Now off to read book two.
