Blurb: Shunned by his pack for being born without feet and suspected of being an omega wolf, Devyn had a lucky escape when he was found and raised by a bear shifter. Now twenty six years old, Devyn fills his days carving elegant items of furniture out of wood, catering to the rich who can afford his custom pieces. It’s a quiet life, but a good life and Devyn never imagined it changing in any way, until his fated mate walked in the door.

Rex would be the first to admit he cruised through life since leaving his father’s pack at eighteen. Yes, he was born an alpha, but he wasn’t interested in running a pack. He was happy living with his beta brother, running his bar, and falling in with hook ups when the mood struck him – which was often. But when he was called to a furniture shop by his latest hook up, supposedly to help move a bed, he never imagined he’d finally find someone he wanted to hold onto. Someone who made his alpha wolf stand up and take notice.

Life should’ve been easy once the misunderstandings concerning a proposal, Devyn’s role in their relationship, and other trivial matters had been resolved. But the evil that shadowed both their pasts, is now back on the scene wanting Devyn dead and Rex fulfilling responsibilities he’d never asked for. Throw a magic user in the mix, and it’s going to take more than Devyn’s deft hand on his wheelchair to work things out.

Review: Rex and his brother left their pack when they became adults. They had a good life, but life seems to always come up with a surprise. When Sloan tried to propose to him in a warehouse for tax time, he knew he had to change a part of his life. What he had not expected was the sexy little wolf shifter being his mate, nor of his mate not being able to walk.

Devyn’s pack had left him for dead when he was a few days old, all because his legs were deformed and he had no feet. A bear shifter found him and became the father he knew now. Then walks in a big ass alpha wolf whose head needed to be knocked around saying they were mates.

Now for most shifters they would meet, mate and have some sexy times. But wolves are a bit strange it seems, then add in one grumpy papa bear and well it is going to get messy. You get a bit of feelings from Rex, but he just doesn’t seem to have a true connection with Devyn that one would expect. Then there is the fact that he is alpha but comes off more like a beta, until he stands up to another beta. I also didn’t care for the magic users at all and wished they had been ditched. I did like Devyn quite a bit and his papa bear definitely wins favors.

It was an interesting story that had a few errors in it but they were not taking away from this story. However I will say that there was something missing in the story that would have normally made it stand out more.

I did enjoy reading it and look forward to reading more from this series. I can also say that it is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Blurb: Rowan’s life had gone down the toilet ever since his teenage crush had moved away when he was fourteen. Shifting as omega, then his parent’s dying, Rowan knew the only luck he ever had was bad luck. If it wasn’t for his grandmother, he’d have left his pack lands a long time ago. Visiting his Grandmother one night, taking her the baking supplies she used to feed the children of the pack, he was confronted by his worst nightmare – Percy. But to his surprise, the evening didn’t turn out the way Percy and his friends had planned.

Shadow, formerly known as Gray, always knew he’d return to his home pack one day. He just didn’t expect it to take so long. When he comes across his brother Percy, threatening the one he’d always known was his mate, Percy’s night went from bad to worse. Killing Percy was easy for Shadow; wooing his mate was a whole different story.

Between the drugs, the elders, and the fearful pack members, finding time to make Rowan happy was an almost impossible task. But Shadow hadn’t come home alone. If he can find the one man behind all the mess, then he and Rowan’s life would be the HEA he’d dreamed of. That’s provided Rowan doesn’t get killed first.

Review: Shadow left his pack and joined the military to give his young mate some time to grow into an adult. He had seen the nasty side of life and just wanted to grab his mate. However what he came home to was pure chaos. His mate was getting attacked by his asshat of a brother, drug deals were going down, homes were needed to be repaired and so much more.

Rowan had a crush on an alpha wolf when he was fourteen but then that same wolf took off. His parents had been killed, he walked with a permanent limp, his grandmother was trying to keep the young in the pack fed and he was getting hurt every time he turned around. Then in comes his hunk he dreamed of who just happened to be his mate.

I had read a few of the reviews so I was wondering what was so good about this book. And let me tell you that wow, it was far more than what they talked about. I had hoped that this was a series because Talon and the others need to find their mates. I loved Rowan and his strength, and lets just say that his grandmother is a grandmother to be proud of. Shadow was a nice surprise for me. He had not come back to the pack to stay but to grab his mate. Then after seeing what was happening he took the jump.

It is an action packed love story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I can honestly say that this is the story that will be read many times over. Now for the bad news, everything was taken care of to quickly for me. You see some of the action and hear about the rest. However when it got down to some of the fight, there was a bit left out.

Other than my issues with the story it was an amazing story that I would definitely recommend.

Blurb: Baby, youngest son of Poseidon had started to avoid going anywhere near his family. Between love-struck mates, and tiny children, more and more he was starting to feel as if he just didn’t fit. Anywhere. Abandoned by one father at birth, and pretty much ignored by the other, Baby roamed the world, looking for some kind of acceptance, but all he could find was hook ups. And there were plenty of those. Being the son of Himeros, the god of desire as well, wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. But none of the people he saw for brief moments touched his heart, and most of them never wanted him to stay longer than an hour or two at most.

Owen was known by many names, but the one title he’d spent a long time avoiding was that of “Baby’s mate”. Having known who his mate was from Baby’s birth, Owen had stayed hidden away from life, content to watch his mate through his Oracle stone, until more than a thousand years had past. When the destructive behavior he believed Baby was falling into got worse, Owen knew it was time to step in. Baby needed a fixer, and the Fates had given Owen the job.

But Baby didn’t want to be fixed. In fact, he resented the very idea, which meant Owen needed to make a few attitude adjustments. As the two men bumbled along, struggling to find common ground with each other long enough to make a mating work, they weren’t getting any support from Poseidon, Claude or Himeros. When Baby gets another shock, he seriously starts to think hiding in an isolated cave somewhere was a good idea. The question is – will he take Owen with him?

Review: Baby is Poseidon and Himeros son but you would not be able to tell it. Himeros is one hell of a selfish man, dumping him on Poseidon as a new born. He only came around lately because his son is as beautiful as always and the people wanted him. Where as Poseidon was a man whore until he met his fated mate. Even then he still is not warm and cuddly to his older sons. He was a child not raised in warmth or loving arms, abandoned and ignored. He just wanted someone to love him. Instead it caused fights and tempers to rail. Then a god older than even he could conceive showed up and told him they were fated mates. That Owen knew they were fated mates for over a thousand years. Imagine what that does to Baby.

Owen is a god and powerful one. He has always been alone except for one other. He knew from the moment Baby had been born that he was his. However time gets away from even a god, now he has a lot of making up for.

A lot of people said that this was going to be quite different then the others in this series, but truthfully I did not see it. Baby was as sweet as always and lets face it his fathers needed their heads knocked into the wall. They couldn’t even give him a true name, just the baby of the family, so it stuck. I did like Owen but even he needed to be knocked upside the head a few times. I liked how they stood up for each other and to each other.

I had a lot of fun reading this and look forward to the next story. I can guarantee that this will be read many times over. In fact I think I will read it again now. Baby times three is a good ending.

What he doesn’t expect is to find a beautiful man with soulful eyes, holding out his hand.

Review: Each book in The God Made Me Do It collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Hades is the Lord of the Underword giving out the sentences for those with evil in their souls. However he might be a God he still is a man. A man that has been lonely for so long. When he became the Lord of the Underwood even his own family distanced themselves from him. The problem was he was just as good as they were. Fate has found a way to bring him the light he deserves.

Ali is a sweet shifter who definitely has an attitude. He stands up for those who have no one to stand up for them. Now at his best friends wedding he might get the surprise of his life. Even though he gets a sexy God as a mate, he gets some snarky asshats right along with it. Fair warning, Ali has no filter when it comes to his mouth. It is definitely going to be a fun time.

Sweet and sexy, the perfect length to keep me entertained for a few minutes. I got a kick out of Ali, but Hades came off just to much on the downside. He is a god with a heart but he came off as a prey shifter, which is what Ali is. Ali came off as a predator which is funny as hell. I got a kick out of the way he stands up to Hades ex. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

I got a kick out of this story and can’t wait to see what comes next.

After all, what use was it, him being a Necromancer, if he couldn’t locate lost souls. The fact he was hosting Dakar’s parents at the time, shouldn’t have made it an issue. After all, they were pack orientated and understood the need to bring a family member home. Didn’t they?

Dakar had been a loving son for fifty years, so when his mom pitched a fit at him, for being part of the efforts to bring Connor home, he was a wee bit annoyed. Unfortunately, he had bigger things to worry about. A demon had set his sights on his mate, and while that wasn’t as unusual as you might think, this particular demon came with complications.

Everything is coming to a head for this unusual family. A wicked sprite, an off-course priest, and a demoness who isn’t all she appears to be are just some of the hurdles Sy and Dakar will have to cross before they finally get their HEA. And what was a dragon doing in the middle of a field?

Review: This trilogy covers the same romantic couples as well as a couple others. To follow the amazing story I would suggest starting with book one. However there is some history of child abuse that shows up in the story so if by chance it is an issue with you, well you might not want to read it.

Luther’s, yes the devil, son is up to no good. He wants Sy to help him raise a army of the undead. To bad that isn’t going to happen but his attempts to get the guys to try is quite interesting. Dakar’s parents are showing their ugly side and need to get their asses kicked. Connor is a cutie that might get a surprise in the end. Clive and Steve are going strong and damn if they are not cute. Wait to see who is the new police captain, lets just say damn he is hot.

This story has the magic flowing, ghouls showing up, demons loosing their minds, and stuck up magical users. There is danger, excitement, twists, and the guys have it handled. It is a fast paced story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is a story that has been well developed and told with the perfect flow of feelings. I liked how the guys are getting together and love is flowing.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to check out the rest of this author’s work. I would definitely recommend this story.

Review: Peter and his brother Harvey were not only homeless but on the run. Their mother had been murdered and the killer was after them. It was hard to find help so they searched for food in the dumpsters. On one such search for food, the owner of the shop he was dumpster diving found him. Instead of getting angry the owner, Cupid offered to help them both. Then he offers Peter a job.

When Eros who is also know as Cupid, the real Cupid, shows up to find out who is in the store, to his surprise he finds his mate. Cupid is the god of love and had placed wards around his namesake’s shop and he is in for more surprises. However he doesn’t want a mate or so he thinks. Not only is someone after his mate, his neglect is affecting Peter. Now Cupid or Eros has to decide.

This was not only sweet but very cute. It not only gave me a story that drew me in but gave me the right balance of love, laughter, danger, excitement and so much more. Now I recognized that the writing wasn’t the same style as Lisa Oliver’s but it was still pretty good. My only other issue was the mistake about the guy’s father and a few editing mistakes but it doesn’t take away from the story much.

I can’t wait to read Harvey’s story. I liked the characters quite a bit although Eros is still in the dog house. Now I will say that it definitely needs a better proof reading to get rid of the errors. I enjoyed the story quite a bit and would suggest it.

Blurb: Artemas, known as the academic son of Poseidon, spent much of his time trying to work out how the Fates decided who was to be mated to whom. With the fall of his brothers, his father, and others in their close circle, he was worried he’d be next in line and the last thing he wanted or needed was a mate. But his uncle Zeus pulled him away from his studies with a special project for him – the retrieval of a book from an auction. A very special book by all accounts; the only known written record from the god Silvanus, one of the originals who hadn’t been heard from for decades. Unable to resist a good book mystery, Artemas agrees to leave Poseidon’s library long enough to bid on it.

Silvanus had spent fifty years in deep despair over what was happening to the world. He’d been alone since the beginning of time, and when his depression reached breaking point, he pleads with the Fates to remove him from the tapestry of life. Telling him it was impossible, the Fates agreed to a promise instead. Silvanus would find his mate and the love his heart hoped for. Seeking to regain his book, after it’d been sold at an auction, Silvanus lands in a hotel room, meeting his fated promise face-to-face. Unfortunately, their first meeting was not the romantic event Silvanus had hoped for.

It’s soon clear Artemas’s emotional baggage wasn’t the only threat to their possible mating. A meddling god is on the loose, and when Odin and Loki are ruled out as possible suspects, only one other god comes to mind. Throw in the fact that Thor was due to give birth any minute, and Artemas and Silvanus have to work together in more ways than one. Will Silvanus ever get the time to heal the pain in Artemas’s heart, or will the meddling god take everything they have and more?

Review: Each book in The Gods Made Me Do It collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is connected to the Cloverleah Pack.

Artemas is the son of Poseidon and Throth although he wishes most times he wasn’t. Throth basically dropped him off at Poseidon’s and never looked back. Which wouldn’t have been so bad had Poseidon wanted anything to do with him. Over a thousand years have past and Poseidon was getting better at it, now that he had the twin cuties. However even as time has past his pain was still there. So when he goes to bid on a book by a quite older god, a god that was thought of as being gone, imagine his look when Silvanus shows up.

Silvanus is basically older than life itself and has finally been given the gift of a mate. A mate that has much pain in his heart and doesn’t believe that what they could have would be possible. It is going to take some patience and luck to get through. However someone is out to either get the book or his mate. The threat is real they just have to figure it out.

I have always loved this author’s work and this book didn’t let me down. Action packed with enough excitement to keep me smiling for hours. It is perfect for that day you just need a pick me up. I wasn’t to surprised about who was behind it all but you might be. The characters were quite quirky and definitely hot, although Artemas was a bit off in my minds. However with his past life I can see why. I think I got a big kick out of him the most. Silvanus just seem to go with the flow.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to see what the next story has going on. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

I would definitely recommend it.

Review: Zeke and Ty have been mates for over ten years but they both new that they were missing an important part. They were missing their mate, to make them a true triad. They have been riding on their bikes for so long that they didn’t truly have a home to go back to. They had just stopped at a cute part of the forest where they were lucky to find some tasty berries and their mate. Of course with their luck they had to chase that mate down. The little guy took off like a bat out of hell.

Daniel is a small brown bear and is basically considered a cub at his age. He lost his parents at a young age and had been thrown into the foster care, the human foster care. He had to hide not only what he was but being an omega, he had to hide from the crazies. He started writing at a young age and was doing pretty good at it. However it left him with lots of fear of the outside world. So when two big bears show up, you got it, he runs home.

It is going to take all their patience to get this right. I could feel everything Daniel could feel and just listening to him was heart breaking. The big alpha’s were definitely on the right path, although I hope Daniel does give them a small break for kicking ass to keep him safe. What I love most about these stories is you can feel the way Lisa feels in each of her stories. She puts her whole heart into it and the stories turn out to be amazing.

With this story you get so much from it, including danger, excitement, adventure and some hot sexy times. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I had a blast reading this and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: The first part of this story had been previously published with Stormy Glenn’s Man Love Fantasies blog. It has been rewritten with several thousand words added on, so quite a bit more story to love.

Cari had been kicked out by his family and prickle, then ignored by many other shifter groups. He lived on the outskirt of a wolf pack but never allowed to join. The reason is they are predators and he is one cute little white hedgehog. He lived in a small apartment and didn’t have much to live on. Then his life changed, he won the lottery. Now everyone wanted to get their hands on it. He had no one to trust, that is until the lottery introduced him to his new protector, who just so happened to be his mate.

Quaid hates babysitting duty, especially those who win the lottery. Then he got a look at the cute little guy and his heart starting beating, but not so much until he caught his scent. Now he has wolves that want Cari, Cari’s prickle wanting money, attempts at force mating, sexual assault and that isn’t even the worst of it. However if want to know, read the book, you won’t regret it.

I always get a kick out of unusual shifters in stories, so when this one came out I knew I had to get my hands on it. I absolutely love hedgehogs and was glad that this author came up with this story. Action pact, excitement and adventure filled plus danger added in are just a bit of what out get with this story. Not to mention of course some pretty hot sexy times. It had my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

I would definitely recommend it.

He can get pregnant, can you imagine Samuel’s expression once he finds out. He met his mate when his brother’s celebrated their adopted son’s birth, even gave him a ride on his back. However his mate has rejected him, or so he thinks.

Raoul is a very old and very powerful vampire elder. He didn’t reject his young mate just felt like he should give him some times, since he is very young. However it would seem that Samuel’s younger brothers have another idea, kidnapping. He also has danger inside his own coven that might place his young mate in danger, but piss off a dragon and your ass will get fried.

I have read many books by this author and am always surprised each time. The stories just seem to get better and better. Action packed, danger filled, excitement overload and some hot sexy times are just a bit of what you get in this, you also get attitude. It is never good to piss off someone that can blow flames from their mouth. My attention was captivated from the start and I am going to go read this book again. I can guarantee that it will be read many times over, just can’t seem to get enough of them.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Bound by Blood

(Cloverleah Pack spin off)
by

Lisa Oliver

Maximillian “Max” Lipovsky has been Regent of the Atlanta coven for the past six months. His days are full of meetings and paperwork as he does his best to straighten out the mess left during the disastrous reign of Vadim’s brother Ermine. With Vadim now happily living in Cloverleah with his mate Josh, it’s up to Max to keep his friend’s coven happy and safe. Easier said than done. When it is pointed out to him it’d been more than six months since he’d fed from a willing donor, Max decides a night out is exactly what’s needed.

Lyle Roberts is tired of being scared, tiny, and alone. But mostly he’s tired. When a tall, strong man with flashing red eyes stops him getting beaten up in an alley, he thought he might have found a momentary reprieve from his rotten life. Finding out the man was a vampire, something he’d only seen in movies, Lyle decides to take a chance and asks the man to remove his curse. Only, it turns out Lyle isn’t cursed after all – unless you consider having a workaholic mate as a curse.

Lyle’s arrival at the coven seems to have brought out the worst in people. As soon as one threat’s dealt with, another one rears its ugly head. With the Alpha of the Atlanta pack pushing for a meeting, and vampires turning rogue within the coven itself, Max has his hands full. The only problem is, with his hands full, he doesn’t have anything to hold his beloved with. Will Max and Lyle ever find their HEA or will the mating curse strike its cruelest blow of all?

Bound by Blood is a complete standalone spin off story from the Cloverleah pack. Regular Lisa Oliver readers will remember Max from Watching Out for Fangs (The Cloverleah series #7) but it’s not necessary to have read that book, to understand this one. Intimate situations and some violence means this book is suitable for adults only.

#MMPNR #MMRomance #MMTrueMates

Warnings: some violence including a scene of a man looking as though he was trying to hang himself, but as he’s a vampire, he would never die of it.

Review: This story can be read as a standalone however I would suggest reading the Cloverleah Pack collection first, as this story is a spinoff of that collection.

Lyle is a small white house cat shifter and has no clue how he was one. He always thought that he had been cursed. His step-father had considered him as an abomination and was going to go to hell. His mother never said a word against the man. He had been kicked out and only survived by food in the garbage or some good stranger giving him scraps. It wasn’t until a vampire found him that he learned the truth. Boy is he in for a shock.

Max has taken over the coven when his friend and leader left after mating a shifter. His damn coven was so far in the dark ages that I am surprised they knew how to write. He wanted to change it but never got around to it. Then finding his beloved in the middle of a cat fight, soon changes his mind.

Action packed, danger filled, idiot’s for coven members, hot sexy times and excitement are just a bit of what you get in this story. It definitely kept my attention from the start and I can guarantee that it will be read more than once. The characters were a blast and lets face it Lyle is my favorite. He is feisty and smarter than you would think at first. There a re a few surprises in this that will have you laughing.

I had a blast reading this and I do hope that there will be more stories involving this coven. It was funny as hell and I can’t wait to get my hands on Lisa Oliver’s next book.

Review: Each book in the The Gods Made Me Do It collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is connected to the Cloverleah Pack series so you might want to read those books first.

If you ever want to see a god protect his ass, read this book because the ending will have you laughing your ass off. And when I say protect his ass, I do mean his ass. Orin is part cat and part elf so magic is his way of life. When one of the professors asks him to look at a book, imagine his surprise when the book is of his linage. A book that the professor shouldn’t of had and one that could summon a true god. So you can imagine what he did.

Thor is the Norse god of the storms and a complete ass sometimes. He has a temper and pretty much loves to fight. He can fight what is to come but it will kick his ass. He has found his true mate, a mate that is sweet and cute. A mate that might just surprise him in the end.

I had been hoping for a bit more danger from the idiot professor but what happened to him was perfect. Never piss off a god, well unless he is your mate. It was exciting and gave me everything I could want in a book. Talk about some action you can find your self in the mix of. Some hot sexy time and a weird book, I could find that I would love that. My attention never left this book and I have to admit that I wanted to read it again immediately. I also find that I want to go read the previous books again also.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. This is one series I would definitely recommend.

Blurb: It’s been almost twenty years to the day that Clive lost the love of a shifter who’d found his true mate. Now, he plans to celebrate the 4th of July with beer, barbecue, and maybe some hot company. As president of the Epitaphs MC, he’s never short of company, but when his musing about his previous love takes a melancholy turn, he decides a bike ride is the cure for the depressing cobwebs in his brain.

Roy Carmichael is one of the new police officers in Orlando, and as such, has been stuck on traffic duty on a public holiday. With only a few minutes left to go on his shift, he’s dreaming about grilled meat and maybe a swim to cool off after being stuck in a car on a hot day. His dreams are interrupted when a bike roars past him, going far faster than the speed limits allow. Roy loves a good chase and figures it’s the perfect end to a slow shift.

One sniff and Roy’s bear knows he’s found his forever, but between Roy’s job and Clive’s, mated life isn’t going to be easy. The Black Skulls MC is sniffing around and wants a merger with the Epitaphs, and one of the Epitaph members isn’t happy that Roy’s bounced into Clive’s life. Fireworks are guaranteed.

Review: This story is connected to the Alpha and Omega series so I would suggest reading those books first since Clive is mentioned in them.

Clive has never had problems with finding someone to hook up with but his heart was not in it. Close to twenty years ago Clive’s lover had met his true mate and took off. Clive was a human but he knew about true heart ache and he never wanted to feel it again. However celebrating the holiday and drinking beer has him thinking of the past and heading out for a ride. To bad he was speeding and a cop caught him.

Roy is a big ass bear shifter who has found his mate. There are a few little issues though one with Clive being the president of a biker club and him being a cop. To top it off there are some problems with another biker club and damn Roy has to figure out what to do. Things are going to get real interesting.

I love bear shifters and their sweet taste. Nice paced story with some hot characters, laughs and a bit of danger are just a bit of what your going to get in this story. I hadn’t remembered Clive from the previous books but do remember his attitude and was glad to see he got his head out of his ass. This is a sweet story that had me wishing for more. I got a blast out of reading about Trent and Marly again.

I had fun reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I loved the characters and their story, and can guarantee that you will too.

Blurb: Deputy Joe of the Arrowtown Sheriff’s department has tried to hold his head up high his entire life, even though it’s never been easy. Carrying the Quincy name has been a curse he’s worked hard to put behind him, but when his two uncles get thrown out of Arrowtown because of their nefarious dealings, Joe found the courage to turn to the one man he thought would stand by his side. Being told he was “too young, too dumb and too well-hung” were not the words he expected to hear when his true mate rejected him to his face. As the man in question was the town doctor, it’s not surprising that when Joe gets hurt, turning up at the man’s surgery was the last thing on his to-do list.

Doctor Nathan Farriday (known locally as “Doc”) has lived a long life, and not always on his own. A long time Arrowtown local, Doc has watched Joe grow into a kind, decent, hardworking man – too good for him in other words. If asked, Doc could spout a long list of reasons why taking the man as his fated mate was a bad idea. Age and inexperience were just the easiest reasons to explain. The danger from his animal half was something he preferred to keep to himself. But when Joe’s family come calling and Joe is left badly hurt, Doc has to reassess a lifetime of bad choices.

Rampaging buffalo shifters and a bomb blast have the potential to splinter the tiny shifter town apart. In the ashes of the aftermath, the sheriff’s department work furiously to keep their population safe. But will Joe and Doc’s relationship survive the revelation of Doc’s biggest secret or will they be forced to leave the town they both call home?

Review: Each book in the Arrowtown collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Joe has had a difficult time and is pretty damn hard on himself. His entire family were banished from Arrowtown and their belongings were sold as restibution. He didn’t have a clue about his parents, but had been raised by his uncle. An uncle that was devious and crazy as an old loon. He didn’t feel that the twon folk really wanted him there, he knew his mate sure didn’t.

Doc knew Joe was his mate, hell he had known for two years. The problem was he was pretty cruel to him and they basically stayed away from each other. That is until his uncle came back and tried to kill him. Knocked Doc for a loop and brought his heart back into the workings. An old fool can learn something new.

They both had a lot in common, neither wanted to show their animal form. Joe was a big ass buffalo shifter where as his mate was a Komodo dragon shifter. Doc was the only doc in town and boy is he in for one big surprise. He has no clue and his reaction is funny as hell. Joe is a deputy and is pretty good at his job not to mention how smart he is. This story was fascinating and gave me everything I could want in a story. Hot sexy times, excitement, danger and so much more are just a bit of what you get in this story.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to find out what the twin’s names are going to be. Which means I will definitely be looking out for the next book.

Blurb: Necromancer Sy York and former Detective, Alpha wolf Dakar Rhodes are slowly learning to merge their lives together as true mates. With the steadfast Brock and loyal Brad, as well as Connor and Clive all sharing the estate with them, for the first time in his life, Sy feels as though he has a family around him.

But just as Sy’s starts to get used to his new life, an uninvited guest to his party brings trouble to the family group. Sy’s father has been scheming in the background for ten years and arrives complete with Sy’s new bride. Just as Sy remembers from when he was growing up, his father flatly refuses to accept Sy and Dakar’s mating and an angrily thrown power ball is just the start of the couple’s problems. To add mayhem to a volatile situation, Dakar isn’t handling the threat to his mating very well.

Dakar knew Sy was more powerful than him from the moment they met and has told himself a dozen times a day it didn’t matter. But a person’s inner thoughts have a way of exposing themselves, especially when magic users are involved. Angry and frustrated, Dakar lashes out – could this be the end of his and Sy’s mating before it even has time to settle down?

Ghostly grandfathers, scheming family members, new mates, and a meddling mother in law; this book has it all. Please note this is the second book in The Necromancer’s Smile trilogy. The Epilogue in this story is the prelude to book 3 and starts the thread of a new plot line. Because of this some might say that this does end on a cliffhanger although the story line in this book is resolved. You will need to read book one before reading this story.

Review: Each book in the Cloverleah Pack collection features our sexy necromancer Sy and his wolf mate Dakar as well as Brock and his sexy bear shifter mate Brad. This story is a continuous of the first book so you really need to read the one first.

Sy’s family is starting their crap and things are going to heat up. It would seem his dear old dad has brought an evil twit female for our sexy necromancer to mate with. Too bad the old fart is going to have to come to terms with the fact that Sy is mated. The problem is he is not getting the message and wants Dakar dead.

To top it off something is seriously wrong with Dakar and boy his attitude sucks. They are going to need gramps to come back from the dead to help.

This is one of my favorite stories that involves necromancers. I have never been a fan of them but this author just draws you in with Sy. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could possibly want in a book. Action packed, excitement, danger and some hot sexy times are just a few things you get.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

He still believed he was to blame for letting Wesley get targeted by the dark elves, almost causing a rift in Cathair and Marius’s mating. Review: Each book in the Cloverleah Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Thomas is an amazing shifter who is still reeling over what had happened to Wesley. He felt guilt over not keeping an eye on the shifter, a guilt that was not his to feel. Wesley had been basically taken over by the dark elves, or so they think. When a strange shifter pops through the wards he realizes the young man is his mate, but the betrayal they still felt made the others worried over Ivan. Was he good or was he evil?

Ivan is a very special and very rare shifter. He will only shift after mating his mate not before then. However he is holding onto a very special secret of his own, he is not the only one of his kind. Lets just say Luke is going to be so very happy.

Exciting, fascinating, dangerous, and some sexy times are just a bit of what you get in this book. The characters are a blast and I absolutely loved Ivan. It would seem Ivan has a way that just might stop the dark elves, but it will take the whole group and more. This story is one of those books that will be read more than once. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story. This is one book I would definitely recommend reading. It will have you on the edge of your seat.

Review: Each book in the Cloverleah Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Marius and one of his older brothers had basically lived a life of hell. His oldest brother had taken off and did well for himself, never knowing what he had left them behind in. Sixty years ago, he had killed their father, bring his little brothers with him. However abuse from a loved one never truly goes away, and Marius was still suffering from it. He is a strong wolf shifter and even though he desired and wanted a mate, he feared it also. Now that time has come.

Cathair is the Battle Lord for the elven realm. His father is the High Elder, ruler of their people, and Cat is his heir. He knew from the seer’s, that his mate was a offworlder, or on Earth as it is said. He just wished he would meet him. Their way of life is to marry and have as many strong kids as they can, then divorce when they find their mates. However for Cat, he did not want to do that. Sent to the Cloverleah Pac to help them fight what is coming, leads him to his mate. A mate that runs away.

With all the danger that is going on with the pack, these two are not having a very good mating. These two can talk to each other, but it like their communication is in a different language. Now the story is a strong story that will keep your attention the whole time. However it doesn’t seem to flow the way it should. It felt like quite a bit of the story was thrown in for word count, and should have been left out. It felt chunky I guess is the word. It doesn’t really take away from the story, but I did feel like putting the book down and taking a break, which is never good for me. Other than that, it is a really good story.

Other than my little problems with the book, I did enjoy reading it and look forward to the next story. Although I really didn’t like the part about Wesley, and hoped that it was just magic, and they can fix him. Guess we will have to see.

Fagin’s Folly by Lisa Oliver

Blurb: Fagin Mars, alpha-heir of his father’s pack, had two possible life paths. On the one hand, he could do what his father demanded; mate with a female wolf shifter and take over the pack or…something else entirely. Fagin was opting for option two. After a terse exchange with his father, Fagin gets permission to go on a road trip for thirty days. He wants to find his true mate. It shouldn’t be that hard, should it?

Cooper Samuels stayed well away from wolf packs. As an omega, he knew the terrors he’d have to face if he ever got caught in pack territory. Which is why he worked for a human accounting services firm and never told anyone about the furry side of his nature. That was, until he went to meet a prospective new client as a biker bar called Fagin’s Folly. He should’ve known his life was going to change the moment someone barrelled into him and knocked him over.

But just because the Fates stepped in and put these two men on the same path, didn’t mean the journey was going to be easy. Things aren’t all as they seem in Fagin’s home pack and things turn nasty after a night on the town. Kidnappings, challenges and the archaic notions many shifters believed about omega wolves was enough for Fagin to consider handcuffs and not the kinky kind. Will Fagin have to give up his mate so soon after finding him, just to ensure his mate’s safety?

Review: Each book in the Alpha and Omega collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. However with this story you can actually read it as a standalone, and I do hope that this fantastic author writes more because I want to read about Buster and Wayne.

Fagin was to be the next alpha according to his father. The problem was the one rule in the pack drove him nuts, he had to mate a female and produce pups. Fagin could get it up for a female, but he was gay. He knew that he was to be fated to a man, he just had not expected to find him before he even left town on the search.

Cooper was a male omega wolf and he hated it. He was abused by others both mentally and sexually, so he tried to stay away from the packs around him. He was one of the best accountants and was getting ready to do a job, but fear overwhelmed him when he came across a big alpha wolf. An alpha wolf that just happened to be his mate.

Now these guys have got it going on, but there is the problem of one pissy female wolf that wouldn’t leave Fagin alone, and a father that just kept egging it on. Starting a new pack was in the works, but then his father pulled his latest stunt, if you want to know more your going to have to read it. And what a read it will be.

I have always been fascinated by this author’s work. Her imagination is a wonder and I look forward to each and every book. The worlds she creates are fascinating and somewhat hot. My only real issue with this book was the first chapter. The sex with Missy was not what I wanted to start a book with. However it did work out perfectly with the story. It led in perfectly to it. The characters are strong and powerful, but Fagin’s heart was what made him even stronger.

My attention had been caught from the start, or after the female sex part and kept all the way to the end. It had given me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more. The sex was pretty hot and steamy. I got a kick out of Buster as well.

This story was a blast to read and I can guarantee that it will be read more than once. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

That is until Dirk Hollingsworth runs from his office.

Dirk is running out of time. He has to find out who’s been stealing from his company before his father turns up for his wedding in three weeks’ time. Acting on the recommendation of a friend, Dirk turns to Jon, or at least thinks about it. That is, until he catches the man’s scent in the doorway of his office and does a runner. Not the proudest moment for one of the proudest of all shifters, but Dirk has a responsibility to his clan and catching the tantalizing scent of a dog isn’t going to change anything. Or so he thinks.

Review: I have always loved a good romance story, and paranormal romance’s are right up on top. Dragon’s have always been a favorite of mine and when an author comes out with a story, well I will usually grab it up. Lisa Oliver has been one of my favorite authors for quite some time, and I knew as soon as I found out she was the author that this would be a story I would want to read.

The story is fully developed and caught my attention from the start. There is so much depth to it and the characters are down right sexy. The worlds that this author created is very unique and makes you wish you were right there with them. The characters are a bit cranky and very quirky to say the least.

Jon is a german sheppard shifter, very smart and very loyal to those around him. He is one of the top investigator’s of his field. He is a forensic accounts and systemps analyst. People who are missing money come to him to find out where it went and who stole it. He works with many paranormal’s and even though they are not the nicest in the world, he does an amazing job for them. Shifters, or predator’s look down on him but he never lets it get him down. That is until his mate walks in, and then runs away.

Dirk is a dragon shifter and an ass. He is more worried about what his father thinks then he really should. They are missing money and he needs help. That is until he realizes that the man in front of him is his mate and a dog shifter, well and he is a man. Here he is set up to mate a female dragon of some wealth and he finds out he is mated to a man. So he runs like a coward. His dragon is going to kick his ass.

You have a strong-willed dragon who wants his mate. You have a family that is definitely not close and the betrayal is deadly. To top it off, he has a female who is up to no good and a father who is a bit crazy. Got to say that this story should be more than a five star rating and I can not wait till the next book comes out.

I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this book.
