Blurb: Good fences make good neighbors, so they say. However, bad fences can sometimes be a heck of a lot more fun.

For years, Pete Ralston’s backyard fence has provided a privacy screen to shield him from the neighbors. Then he meets Bill Carter, the new owner of the property behind him, and his thoughts concerning the benefits of barriers undergoes a major change.

While good fences may make good neighbors, bad fences can sometimes be a heck of a lot more fun.

Review: I have got to tell you how hot this story is. A little too short for my liking but it was a pretty cool story. I love how hot these two men were. I had a bit of difficulties with the fact that Pete was married twice and divorced then all of a sudden he is gay. It did make for a fun night though.

Pete helps out Bill by lifting his air conditioner into his truck, and then Bill repays that with unloading the fence and concrete. Then at night, Pete see’s Bill in his full glory and finds himself turned on. After a little accident with the fence, Pete finds himself in contact with that gorgeous body.

I don’t know actually the words to tell you about this book other than the fact that it was really hot. Pete wasn’t gay, had never been with a man, and then finds himself kissing Bill. That kissing leads to even hotter playtime. It is way too short for me but gives me great ideas. I wish I had a fence so that I could spy on sexy men.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. I had a blast reading it and look forward to more by Derek.

However, in order to experience the freedom and sexual fulfillment that Marc offers, Robert must first break away from everything that currently defines his outwardly successful life.

Review: When Robert stopped to help a young man, he didn’t know his life would change. His marriage has not been what a marriage should be and he knew that someday it would have to stop. He knew the secrets his wife hid from him, but she did not know his. Now he helps Marcand realizes that it might just be time.

It was a cute story but not for me. I don’t like the idea of cheating even if your marriage is not a true marriage. When one stands up and says I do, then if you want to be with someone else that marriage should end. Other than that little bit I didn’t like, the story itself was very hot. You can see the tenderness between the two men, even though Robert just comes off as an ass at first.

I loved Marc’s spirit and the fact that he seemed like an over the mountain cheerful type. I got a big kick out of him. Altogether though the story just didn’t do what it should have for me to truly love it. It was well written and the sex between them was extremely hot.

Review: This was a fascinating story if not a bit hard to believe. Oh not the fact that they wanted each other, but the fact that Jeff’s father was the leader of an organized crime syndicate. More than likely if his father found out they would be killed. So it tells how strong they are to even attempt this. I did love it though. Jeff was off to college and his father sends him with a bodyguard. Now Jeff was an ass to Vic, but there was a lot of passion between them. Also a lot of danger coming for Jeff. It was up to Vic to protect the man he has fallen in love with.

There was so much story put into such a dynamic short story. I had a blast reading it and look forward to more by Derek. I was impressed with the way Vic stood up in the end and proved that he could protect the man. However, in the beginning, he acts like a scared little puppy and that pretty much showed him different in my eyes so I was glad that he showed his balls in the end. Well he showed them in more ways than one. The sex between them is hot and could set the sheets on fire. I wished that it had been longer because it left me wanting more. I want to see where these two gorgeous men go in the future.

I would recommend reading this little hot and explosive story. You won’t regret it. It is a great story to read when you are just wanting to take a break from a long day at work.

Review: This is book three in this series and normally I think it would be better to start with book one. However, with these books they can be read as stand-alone. It was a cute little short story but to short for me to really enjoy. I want to read more about Max and Charlie. They seem to be so far apart in certain parts of their lives, but you come to realize that they have so much more going for them.

Max’s ex-boyfriend and current roommate had griped about the fact that all their landscape workers were not there. Max had informed him that it was because of Ray himself. So he had gone looking for someone to take over the work and came across Charlie. Ray was the man who Max had loved at one time, now he was a mean drunk.

Whereas Charlie had been a man let down by his friend and coworker. He had lost everything including his home and he had been bankrupt. Only looking for work, he ended up finding someone who could make him see the stars. Neither man is in the position to start something but it seems like life has a way of starting it for you.

I felt so bad for these two men, to have lost so much but have the ability to still love. Max’s ex is a total jerk and so was Charlie’s. One man had been living the dream as the other had lost his. It tears you up inside to see that this happens. You feel so much for these two very sexy men and hope that they will reach for each other. I would like to read more about these two men. I loved the story but it was too short to fully enjoy the way it should. It is an easy to story to read on a break, or right before bedtime.

I would recommend reading it. It gives you sexy men, hot and passionate sex, mean drunks, and the backbone to stand up for what you believe.

Review: A little bit odd, confusing, and sexy in a masturbatory kind of way. I think that Seth is a tease, and is almost a bit cruel to his friend. The alien voyeur aspect is a bit freaky, and the fact that the alien represents himself a lot like Adam is also uncomfortable. Maybe this story is making a statement, don’t’ worry about if anyone else loves you, at least love yourself??? Adam is a hermit after all, maybe alone way too much? This shorty is very surreal, very mind bending, and the sexual content is very dreamlike.

Review: This story was a bit hard to actually understand, but I did enjoy it.

Grant is a charming, tender-hearted, gentle young man, who isn’t really sure what is going to happen in his life. Then one late night in the locker room he comes across a man dubbed The Punk. The Punk also known as, Dragon is a bit strange to me, but he wants Grant. The sex is hot and tender. It was a cute little story, just not really sure, what it was all about. I wish it were a longer story, so that I could get more information and detail.

I was intrigued and will read this story a bit more.

Blurb:What happens when a man begins too long for that which he fears the most?

Two young men are confined in a military academy that is more prison than school. Kendall believes he can only survive by avoiding meaningful contact with another human. Harris believes that contact means salvation. The two cross paths and are soon locked in a struggle only one of them can win.

Purchase Link: http://www.extasybooks.com/contact/

Review: I am not really sure how I felt about this story. It basically says how Kendall and Harris ended up in the academy but not really much about their lives. They are stuck in what comes off as hell. Kendall is a harsh young man who basically comes off as very hateful and not someone you would like at all. However if you read between the lies he comes off as sad and someone who needs love.

Harris might just be that someone. He is forced there because his family didn’t like the fact that he was gay. He is kind, compassionate, and gentle. He needs to feel love and wants to be touched, the exact opposite of Kendall.

I can’t stand the way Kendall forces Harris at first, but soon realizes that Harris actually seems to like the contact. The sex is fierce, hot, and kind of tormented. I am not really sure what to think but I do wish that this story had been longer in length, to show maybe what would happen if they had gotten caught, or what might happen if they leave there. I can understand Kendall being forced to stay there, but they seem to be over eighteen so how or why do they stay there. It left a lot of questions unanswered. It just left me hanging.

Review: As I started eagerly reading this short story – cops, witnesses and action is my favorite genre – I was quickly disappointed by the bland boarding to boring plot. You always have a certain idea of what’s about to happen in these types of books, but the predictability in this particular one was too much. The lack of mystery and suspense was felt deeply and it only became harder when the sexual element took place.

As Tony becomes a witness to a cop killing, he is being transferred at a remote spot in the mountains with only one officer to guard him. It was expected that the two of them would eventually hook up, but when their first time was a drunken police officer, forcing himself to his charge in the middle of the night things got weird for me.

Yet I perked up believing that this would be a different type of book, with dark elements in it and deep suffering. Unfortunately, I kept being disappointed. The plot moved on to our forcing –almost rapist- officer repenting deeply for what he did, our witness not only covering him but actually giving him a second chance all too eager to have a chance at that “buff” specimen of a man.

And who can resist a man like that, that for all his charming personality he is also a virgin that had for years been in control until he met Tony whom he instantly fell in lust for. Let’s face it, how can Tony not forgive such a deeply hurting from lust soul.

Yes, I know, I’m being sarcastic and I can’t help it. During these scenes, I kept wondering why. Why would someone write such characters? How am I supposed to care for Detective Dubinski? What part of his personality, what little we were told at least, was supposed to appeal to me. Is a gorgeous body rippled from gym machines enough to fall head over heels with someone? And since Tony does in the end, I’m only finding shallow beside stupid for allowing such a person on him.

So right there when I thought that this book couldn’t get any worse than that, and I should at least finish it and detach myself from the cliché way those fantasies were displayed and the “badies” showed up just for the sake of making some show of action that was quite short and passing, the blood transfusion scene came and I was left jaw-hanging, staring at those letters, slowly as if in some kind of dream making them words out and not quite believing what I was reading. Bland I said this plot was? How very mistaken I was.

The most interesting thing I’ve ever read recently it must have been this scene, right after the “bad” guys came and went leaving behind a wounded cop (of course) our hero is forced to take the guy to town to save him and wonder of wonders there is a guy, not quite a doc but similar enough (how many spoilers you want from me already) how performs blood transfusion in a non-hospital/sterilized area, from Tony to Dubinski just like that. Oh of course he asked if Tony was clean, of course he did and I had the reply on the tip of my tongue, jumping up and down because Tony was NOT clean, he was crawling at some slope earlier in the evening and was also very covered in blood, but I thought at that point it was irrelevant and if it meant that poor Detective Dubinski would die, than by all means, let the men perform that damn transfusion already.

And right after that magnificent stunt I was also granted the satisfaction of cheese lines there after all cleared up with the most sickly-sweet end just because.

So if my irritation and displeasure didn’t manage to quite bleed up there, no, this book did not even come close to an OK rating. I plain and simply did not like a single aspect of this book.

Review:   Joel has started working for the ‘Clean Living’ movement and his new boss Mr. Jeffers is meticulous about cleanliness.  He insists on celibacy and frequent hands on inspections to make sure that Joel is keeping himself scrupulously clean.  Since Joel is a fairly clean sort of guy, this doesn’t really worry him too much until he starts getting excited about Mr. Jeffer’s inspections.    Turns out, Mr. Jeffer’s celibacy requirement only goes for intercourse with the opposite sex.  That means Joel is fair game for his bosses sexy advances.

This is a very short book…only 16 pages…so there isn’t a lot of time to really get to know the characters too well.  It is pretty obvious that Joel is not all that bright or experienced when it comes to sex.  Mr. Jeffers is definitely a clean-cut and very determined man who has his sights set on his young and very attractive employee.

The writing isn’t really my style….the author gets the point across in a very blunt way, leaving very little to the imagination.  I think the story could have been told just as well with a little bit more finesse.  There is a certain amount of buildup and exploration but the majority of the story is some fairly graphic sex.  If that is what you are looking for in a story, than this would be a good choice.
