Review: Now I am not sure about shark shifters, after having watched Jaws so many times, well you can guess where I am going with that. However it is a big kick to find a story that makes it look like fun.

Jarrett had left his cheating boyfriend and went to Hawaii to enjoy some freedom. He also wanted guidance and to figure out what he was going to do in the future. To his surprise it would seem he has found that guidance in more than one way. Kainalu might just be the one, even if he is a sexy shark shifter.

This was a fun little story that had quite a bit of humor in it. I am not really sure if I would read more shark shifter stories, but this one was pretty damn good.

I had a lot of fun reading it and would recommend it.

Blurb: Jarmal has been the Guardian of Scryer’s Well for three decades. Romantic liaisons with the warriors and wizards who come to the Well for mystical insight no longer satisfy a man who has grown old alone. His forty-seventh birthday is a hard reminder that he has not yet chosen a successor, and he’s never been granted a vision by the Well he’s spent his life guarding.

Fortunately, Jarmal receives a distraction in the form of the handsome foreign magician Tariq. Though Tariq’s beautiful body stirs Jarmal’s lust, his inexperience and tender affections move Jarmal’s heart. But Tariq is seeking the Well’s guidance as part of a quest to free his homeland from evil, and although Jarmal thinks he’s finally found someone he’d like to spend his life with, he can no more ask Tariq to stay with him than he can leave the Well to be with Tariq.

The Well offers him a glimpse of his destiny, but no easy answers.

Review: This was a lusciously descriptive tale of two men

There’s something to be said for maturity and experience, whether it’s a second chance at love, a May/December romance, or finding a soul mate later in life. These stories prove that it’s never too late for new love.

who meet by chance and find something special with each other. Only to be pulled apart due to their conflicting responsibilities.

The writing was top-notch and evenly paced for such as short story. Neither man is expecting what happens between them. But neither do they fight how they feel.

They show their honor and bravery. Each is willing to follow and face their destiny, instead of running away from it even knowing they may never see each other again.

This was a very well done little read.
