Review: Paul is a little mouse shifter who is in love with his choirmaster. However he stands true to his creature, he is too afraid to let Cale know. So he spies in his animal form… that is until he is caught. When Cale brings him home with him, he is determined to stay as a pet. That is until Cale tells him his secret desires.

This one was absolutely adorable and so damn cute. I had a lot of fun reading this and would hope that the author might someday make this a bit longer. Mice shifters are so damn unique that you don’t see them a lot.

I enjoyed reading Quiet As A Mouse and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Tobias is one of those young men who is a chosen virgin. He is twenty-five years old and has a good life. Only a virgin can see a unicorn in his true self. So when he sees Amar he is shocked but accepting. Then Amar is in trouble and Tobias must save the man he has come to fall in love with.

Now this starts out pretty good, but I have to say that it gets pretty creepy. I didn’t much care for the ending at all. I think if it had been told in a better light that it would have made a hit for me. I enjoyed the characters quite a bit but the story not so much. I was glad that these two found each other though.

I would recommend it.

Review: Mark has a teaching degree, but is stuck working in a bookstore. It is not the job that he wants to do, so when he is offered a job he jumps at it. Staying in the village however changes you. His new employer is a shock to him, but a rather nice one. He is to teach his daughter. Then he finds out Thomas’s secret.

This was a very unique little story that I would have never thought possible. When I saw the title I was not thinking of what it truly meant, but I am not saying it was bad just different.

The characters were quite frankly enjoyable but the story was just a tad bit weird. This is a shifter story that you would have never heard of before. You have a young student who is not all that friendly but if you look down deep you can tell her heartache. An employer whose heart is on his sleeve but fear is there also. And a teacher who just wants to love. And a location that should never be seen after dark.

I would recommend it.

Blurb: Jiri’s life has been one misery after the next. A cobra shifter, he’s held captive by a collector who keeps him—and other shifters—in a private harem-style “zoo” in the Libyan Desert. Considered a dangerous predator by the other shifters, and little more than a boy toy to the collector, Jiri is friendless, timid, and despondent.

Miksa is the collector’s latest find. But honey badgers are known for their bad attitude, fearlessness, and fighting spirit. Miksa has no doubt he’ll escape, even if it means taking the whole zoo down with him.

When honey badger and cobra meet, there should be instant enmity—after all, honey badgers eat cobras—yet both men find themselves oddly drawn to the other. Romance blossoms, but can it survive captivity and beyond? In order to do so, Jiri will have to find a strength he doesn’t know he possesses and Miksa will have to open a heart long closed to anyone except his immediate family.

Review: Jiri had been sold to a collector when he was just a child so he didn’t act like a cobra at all. He was there for dancing and sex. The collector has brought in a new find, and to Jiri’s surprise it is a honey badger. Honey badgers and snakes do not get along, but these two just about make you feel like you are over heated.

This was a bit strange to me and I wasn’t really sure if I liked it or not. I felt bad for Jiri though. I was glad that Miksa turned out to be a great catch for Jiri. I had fun reading this and look forward to seeing what other stories this author has out.

I would definitely recommend this story.

This was definitely different. Zeke is a witch who turns into a house cat. In fact he has been staying as a house cat. He is living with Toby, who has no clue what Zeke is. However it would seem that Toby has his own secret.

This was a kick and I wouldn’t mind seeing more of these two. For now though it is just too short to get more than just a taste. However for such a short story it does have quite a bit of meat to it. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it.

Although I loved the cover, the name of the story is a bit off.  I don’t remember any raft.

He has good reasons for avoiding fieldwork like the plague: his parents died in the field, leaving him to be raised among wolf-shifters. Because of his adopted family, everyone thinks he is a wolf, a lie that protects him from the ridicule he’d face if he revealed the truth.

When the charming and dangerous tiger-shifter Agent Reed Daily chooses Ignacio to help close the books on a gang threatening to tear Chicago apart, Ignacio can’t refuse. Perhaps it’s the chance to avenge his parents, or perhaps it’s the tight fit of Reed’s suit and heat Reed’s smile ignites in Ignacio. When the chips are down and the whole city’s depending on him, will Ignacio prove himself a man or a mouse?

This is a cute one. Ignacio lives among wolf shifters, works for CXO and does not go into the field. There are first times for everything. However he has a secret that he is worried that will get out. Reed is a tiger and an agent that wants to team up with Ignacio. Won’t he be in for a big surprise, or should I say small.

Someone is killing humans and Malak has figured out that it is a Were that is doing it. Being not only the doctor and coroner, but also a shifter does have its advantages. So he knew what he was seeing. His old friend has come to help him rid the world of their little problem, but the sheriff is having a bit of trouble with it. However he is not having any trouble with Malak. That is if you get my meaning 😉 .

These stories are interesting but they are way too short for anything more than just a taste. I am however not sure of this one, it is a bit creepy. However it does give a new look into the paranormal world. I did like the story but it just wasn’t for me.

Review: Gray wants to see his best friend Elk, but hadn’t expected the fog to come in. It leads him to a different desire then he had expected. Elk is shocked but in the end it is his shock that surprises Gray.

This story was way too short for anything other than a pornographic theme to it. Let’s just say that it was just really strange and totally creepy. For one I don’t like girly parts and this one just works that way. I can say that in my opinion, this one just didn’t do it for me.

I am sorry but this is one story that really didn’t have a true story to it.

Review: Daniel and his ex had broken up after fourteen years and now it was time for Daniel to once again get his life back in order. He had decided to move back to a small town and just enjoy his life. He loves working with animals, so when he sees a lynx walking around he is quite surprised to see him so close to town. However not as surprised as he is when he finds out that his neighbor is the lynx. A man that he is falling in love with.

I absolutely love these stories. They are small, but have so much meat to them that they keep you entertained. This particular story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I loved how well-developed the story is and how the characters are well-rounded.

This is one story that I would love to see made longer and put into a series.

I enjoyed reading it and would definitely recommend it.

Review: At first I was sure that the shifter was a goat and damn was I glad to find out that was not the case. Although it would have been funny as hell. Noah is a camp counselor for Camp Pooka, a camp for shifters. It was to be his last summer and he was going to miss it. Then he met Milly, a quirky goat that got the kids attention. Milly led Noah straight to her owner, the sexy Jack Rideaux. Now that was one sexy team, especially with Milly playing matchmaker.

I got a kick out of this one. It was funny as hell and I absolutely loved it. For such a short story it had quite a bit to it, which surprised the hell out of me. I do hope that the author will continue this story somewhere down the line. I would like to know what happens with these two.

Review: I really never thought about cow shifters or that they would be sacred I suppose. I think in all of my readings I have only came across one other story that had a cow shifter, or bull shifter. They are kind of quirky and definitely this author has made a unique hit with it.

Duncan and his two best friends have decided to travel India. They are going to Jaisalmer, which is a fort in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. It would seem that Duncan has caught the eye of a bull shifter. Akash is a well-known young man who has his eyes on Duncan. However it would seem that someone else has noticed the two together.

This one was pretty good. I liked the unique telling of this story. Although I hate to say that it was not really my kind of story though. I did have fun reading it though, and would recommend it.

You can’t really get into a good detail about these stories because they are short without giving the story away. So far I have like most of the stories in this package, but this one was just way to creepy in my opinion. I started reading it and just put it down. He had been warned. Drake is a bear shifter and as is with other bears he is a grouch. That is until he set eyes on his mate.

Out of all of the stories I have read in this package this has been the best yet. So much so that I do hope Savannah turns it into a longer story and maybe makes a series out of it. I love bear shifters and this one rocked.

For such a short story it was fully developed and had so much detail to it that I was captivated from the start. I had so much fun reading this and look forward to seeing what other stories this author has out.

Review: All Kieran wanted was to be the best singer ever. He had been admitted in to Julliard, but was afraid that he would not make it. He had met a senior who had the voice of an angel but the eyes were not. He is about to find himself distracted by the man, a man who is more than what he appears.

This was a very strange story to say the least. I was not really sure if I liked it or not to be truthful. It was a captivating little tale but still just held a bit of a bite. I think right now it would not be for me but if it was made into a full size story I could see this as a top rate story. It just needs that extra kick to it.

However I did enjoy the book and would recommend it.

Review: Surprising was the fact that even though this book was really short, there was quite a bit to it. Alfie was an Alpaca shifter who from what I gathered never really shifted into his human form, until a fire starts. He had a crush on a human but that human was in love with another. He just hopes that Simon will see him for more than an alpaca.

I hate short stories and trying to tell you about them, without giving the dang thing away. It was a fun little story and had quite a bite to it.

I enjoyed reading it and would definitely recommend it.

Review: Allakau was always different from the rest of his family, for one he hated to kill any animal. Even his mother has noticed. His tribe survives from the kills they make, but Allakau cannot eat nor kill any animal. He feels something for the animals. Then he sees a narwhal that has the same color of eyes as he does, and it says his true name.

Then his father has given him an impossible choice – either kill within the three days or forever leave. Searching the woods gives him time to reflect and he realizes his life is not the same as it was. For he is very special, then he finds another animal with the same eye color, the same animal that he once was.

This one was a bit strange to me, so it was harder to get into it. It was well written with a lot of depth to it, but I just couldn’t connect with the story. Even though I couldn’t connect, I could tell that it was a pretty damn good story.

This is one that I would recommend to all.

Review: Chris and Dash had been engaged to be married, but Dash had let Chris down way to many times. It seems Dash had chosen his life to be different than Chris. So when his mother told him to take a cruise to relax, he was quite surprised to find out that his cabin steward was his ex. Then to top it off they ended up on a deserted island, things are about to come to a head.

Now this had great potential, but it just seemed to not end right for me. I did have fun reading it though and the humor was appreciated.

However, I do wish that it had been a bit longer with more detail in the ending.
