Review: Each book in the Avanti Chronicles collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This has got to be one of the best stories I have come across in quite a while. So much so that I can see me reading this series more than once. Hannah Walker has created a unique world that is not only full of love, but hate, betrayal, anger, lust, deceit, excitement, action, adventure and danger. There are not many long novels that I find that I can get into, but this is one that I could not put down. As soon as I got off work I started reading and kept it up all the way.

Teriva is up to no good once again. She couldn’t get what she wanted from the others so her plan is to go after the king. Too bad for her he king is protected by not only family but by the one who loves him. Dax and the others are slowly realizing that all that is going on is connected. From the attacks on the villages, to Teriva and Nester’s plots. However they don’t take in account that the Avanti will do everything in their power to keep everyone safe. Now all they have to do is to find out who is behind it all.

This story was an amazing addition to the series and I was glad to have had a chance to read it. I love that the king doesn’t care who thinks what, when he falls in love with not just a man but an outworlder. They are strong in more ways than one, but they are able to let their shields down and show emotion, pain and fears. The way these guys have grown has been amazing and I was absolutely happy when Hunter and Bell’s family is being brought to them. I also think I know the answer to who is behind it, but we will see.

These guys were perfect as were the others. This is one series where all the characters are needed to make the whole story rock. I love how they are all equal even when in the story they really are not. I mean you have king that is just another man to the others and that makes it even better. Not to mention his sister rocks.

The only part I hated was the death of one my hottie guys. I really don’t think that part was needed and I think he should have been saved. It brought the book down in my eyes. However other than that little issue this is one story that I will definitely read over and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: This is A.Y. Verona’s debut novel. Most times I am not one to even look at a new author because I always seem to notice the problems right off the start. However the title caught my attention. Anything paranormal and with the word academy always makes them seem more interesting to me.

Although I have to admit the cover was not my choice of covers, it didn’t give me a warm feeling at all. However whatever apprehensive thoughts at reading a new authors work, went out the window the moment I started reading this story.

This story has a new and fresh look at the paranormal and fantasy world. It is a very hot little story but has some interesting twists to it. It does have a bit more description to it that I felt like could have been left out though. It seemed just a bit long-winded in some parts of it, but not enough to take my attention away from the story though. My attention had been caught from the start and kept all the way to the end.

The shifter world in this book has a different way of telling if a wolf is an Alpha, Beta, Gamma or Omega. The females are not called Omegas, but the boys are .

There is also different types of Omegas, it would seem. Now after figuring out which cubs are Alpha, Beta and so forth, then they are sent off to different academies to learn about what it will be like to be them. The problem is male Omegas are not given scholarships to go.

Daniel was from a long line of Betas, so when he is told that he is an Omega, he is a bit afraid. He wanted to go to school, but it would look like he might never get the chance. The lower ranking usually gets the lower jobs. That is until the Alpha Academy wants an Omega. The only light is his best friend is an Alpha and also is going there.

Delvin is the instructor at the Academy. He has lost his mate some time ago. So when he is given Daniel to help, he is not in the best mood. He loved his mate and has been lonely, but he also knows that he loves the life he has built up.

These two are very hot together. He knows that the moment Daniel shows up, the sparks start flying around. That is not the only thing flying around. He knows Daniel will make friends as well as bring attention to himself. He will face many obstacles, but Delvin had not expected someone to start making death threats.

I had a lot of fun reading this story and can’t wait to read the next book in this brand new series. This author’s first book has been a hit with me. I loved the way the book just seemed to flow and the story line rocked. The characters were beautifully written and fully developed.

This is one new author that I would definitely recommend checking out.

Review: Each book in the Melusine’s Cats collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This is the first series that I have read by this author and I am still not sure what to expect. The story is well written but seems to be a bit off to me. The characters are well written with a lot of depth to them. There seems to be a bit of darkness to the whole story and for me that was a downside to reading this book.

Hal had been living the free lifestyle just traveling to where ever he wanted and doing what he wanted. However it all changed when he went to work at the Black Dog pug. Everyone seemed to love him especially the crazy orange cat.

That is until the cat started talking to him and things were getting strange. When a stranger showed up injured things are about to get heated up and parts of it not for the good. Hal soon finds himself into a new world altogether. His dreams now have a meaning, the cat is a guardian and the weirdness has gotten stronger.

Gryffyth has finally been released from his imprisonment and wants to take back what has been taken from his family. He wants revenge for what happened to his triad and for his injuries given to him by Melusine. He wants his father released but when he meets Hal and the cat, Tawny things start looking different to him and he realizes things were not what he had expected.

This whole story has been a very weird read. My attention wavered through most of it, but other than my thoughts on it the story is a fascinating one. The problem for me is it seemed a bit winded and it didn’t just flow right to me. I did enjoy it, but the story was not for me.

Blurb: Rolly has waited ten years to claim his mate. Now the wait is over, and he’s coming home.

Rolly has waited patiently for his mate. When he first met Erdwin, the boy was still a child. Rolly felt nothing but compassion for him back then, but Erdwin came of age five years ago, and Rolly’s stayed out of his life in order to give Erdwin time to experience life.

Erdwin never fit right in his skin. He didn’t like what he saw in the mirror. It didn’t match how he felt inside. As a shifter, he was stuck with the body he had. Surgery wasn’t an option for him. But Erdwin found a way to accept himself—by embracing the part of herself that felt like her true nature. She struggled with it, but with her family’s support, she became Edie, the young lady she was meant to be. She stopped worrying about her parts, and concentrated on her heart.

When Rolly, a powerful shaman, moves back home to the pack, Edie is transfixed. He makes her nervous—and arouses her. But what would a man like him think of a woman liker her?

Edie’s about to find out, and she will have to be stronger than ever to help fight off a threat to her pack, to her mate, and to her family.

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of light BDSM and fisting.

Review: This is the fourth book in the Spotless series. I have to say that Bailey Bradford has done it again with a fantastic addition to the Spotless series. So much emotion running through this book that it took my breath away. I literally cried reading how Edie, a shifter, struggled with herself and bawled like a baby at the packs reaction to her coming out so to speak.

Edie was such a sweetheart yet strong when it counted. I was very impressed with her determination to be herself no matter what anyone else said and was very proud of her.

Rolly was so great with reaction of Edie I cried yet again. I have never cried so much while reading a book but it was a happy cry. Amazing twists and turns as the pack deals with several things going on at once. This pack is truly a family that stands by each other no matter what the circumstances are.

Rolly and Edie made such a great couple and they both seemed so much stronger when in the presence of the other. Rolly was so sweet to wait until Edie was ready. He was strong yet sure of himself. His powers as a Shaman were simply jaw dropping.

The whole book was well written and takes you on an emotional journey and a rescue mission for Edie’s sibling in Siberia. Action packed, intense scenes and some hot sex made for an amazing addition to the Spotless series.

Two of my favorite characters are in this book so that meant some hilarious sarcastic comments from Cliff and Bobby. This book has everything adventure, action, drama, mystery and love. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. Absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it to everyone.

You have to read this book.
