Review: Each book in The Umbra Shifters collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

The thing about this book is that you really have to pay attention or you will get just a bit lost. There is something about this book that makes it a bit harder to truly get into. With short stories, it is difficult to give an excellent telling of a story without getting to close to the whole story.

Justice is an Umbra soldier, sent in to stop the dangers, criminal, and sometimes evils of his world. The MC’s were under investigation for selling children for playthings. He wants to stop it all, just didn’t know that when he went in that he would come out with his mate.

Xavier knew that Justice was hiding something, but he was falling in love with the man. Then when the truth came out, he had to make a choice. His family or his mate, to me that is not a hard choice. Especially when you know all that it involves, and why it does.

It is a good story and with a little more story to it, I would think it would make it an excellent story. It is too short for my likings but I loved the way the characters just seem to mix. I like the danger that is involved with what they do. I also love the way they feel things more strongly with their mates. It is a pretty cool story and I do look forward to reading the next book.

I would recommend reading this book. It gives you gorgeous men, shifters, excitement, and danger. Not to mention the hot sex when these two get together.

Review: This is part two in a wonderful series and should be read in order. The first book is in The Alpha’s Claim: Manlove Edition Anthology.

 

I really liked book one and I love this book just a bit more. It gives you wonderful characters who you will fall in love. They have the abilities to overcome all their pain and turn it into a blessing. Ethan was an Umbran, usually undercover doing all sorts of things. Bier, musician, shadow hunter didn’t matter when the nightclub fire killed everyone except himself. He always felt cold and alone. He didn’t know if there was anything in him left to care for another.

When Daric showed up to take his statement concerning the fire, he was pissed to say the least. What he had not expected was the lust he could smell in the air. Could he take the chance, could he just make a one night stand or should he kick him out. What he had not expected was the fact that they were mates.

 

This story is cute and very tender. I would recommend this to anyone who loves shapeshifters, vampires, the paranormal world, two hot and sexy men, and great sex. I do love this series, wished it was a bit longer though. I love to lose myself into a story and this one made it an enjoyable trip.

Review:  Mitchell Bartlett is a Deputy Sheriff in a small town located in Southwestern Wyoming. He didn’t expect to feel anything sexual for the rock star, when he knocked on his door, to tell him to turn the music down. 

Drago was attracted to the Deputy Sheriff the moment he saw the billboards around town with his picture on it. When he opened his door to see him, he’s surprised and can’t help but flirt with him a bit.

Mitch can’t get Drago off his mind. He stops by the next day and Drago recommends they spend the weekend together. Mitch takes him up on it and the chemistry they have is great. The sex scenes are some of the best M/M sex scenes I’ve read. This was a short sweet read, that I would recommend friends.
