Love is Found

(Only If 01)
2nd Edition

R. Paone

“My love for you will never die.”

A story based on true events of love, self-acceptance, and the turmoil of companionship.

“Love is Found” is the moving story about coming-of-age in suburban New York and discovering the broad concept of sexuality and love.

Based on true events of love, the story’s protagonist, Robert, finds himself thrown into the realization that upon entering graduate school he is beginning a new chapter in his adult life. Comfortable with being gay, he yearns for love but dwells on the ideal of being alone while being consumed by the world of academia. Upon starting a new job he meets a coworker, whom he begins an unlikely relationship with considering this man identifies as straight.

When sex is introduced and emotions run amok, the routine of Robert’s life is thrown into chaos with unexpected outcomes. Will Robert realize his true limits and whether he can conquer the strife of new love? Little does he know if his heart can survive the overwhelming desire and how this man will alter the course of his life just not now, but for the next decade.

The first novel in the debut “Only If…” series by R. Paone introduces the heartbreaking portrait of one young man finding love in all the wrong places while exploring themes of one’s sexual identity, passion, and nostalgia.

This edition of “Love is Found” has been newly edited and expanded containing over 10K of added content.

This contemporary work of fiction is approximately 78,000 words and contains strong thematic material that is intended for adult readers only.

Review: Sexy ex-military bodyguards, a spoiled brat, traitors galore!
That is only a few things to expect in this super sexy, nail-biting suspense story. Clear some time. You won’t want to put it down.
Chaz doesn’t want a bodyguard when he arrives back home from college. After years of being away, he feels unwanted and is very defiant and rebellious. Ex- Marine Tate Heston has more than a handful with this young man.

But not all is as seen. Once Tate gets to know Chaz, he sees a brilliant, misunderstood, young man. Just as the things heat up for the two and Chaz is settled with Tate, the twists begin, and we are one wild rollercoaster of these twists and turns.

I loved this story. There are may characters involved, and the story will certainly keep yo o its toes. I will say there were so many views, that the way it kept changing from one to the other was a bit jarring at times, but once you figured out the speaker, it wasn’t so hard to follow, even though one speaker was a secret to the very end. We even get to see a few favorites from the first two books.

If you like sexy marines, bodyguards, mystery/suspense, millionaires, older men/younger men, and some hot man-sex, this is definitely for you.

Though this is a book three of a series, I think you can read it as a standalone though the other two are well worth the read!

WARNING: This book contains homosexual relations and crude language. A sneak peek at book 2 follows the ending!

Former Navy SEAL Axel Blaze lives a solitary life. He doesn’t do emotions, and he doesn’t do babysitting. Used to being on his own, his job consists of Wetwork (a charming term coined by the KGB) for his former Master Chief, Mac. When an out-of-the-ordinary job lands on his doorstep, Axel heads down a path that includes a famous heavy metal rock band and one quiet, vulnerable, guitar-shredding virtuoso named Gareth Wolf.

Gareth Wolf’s life changed in an instant when a car he was a passenger in crashed, hurting his brother’s best friend and the band’s lead guitarist. They created the band, Skull Blasters, as kids. Gareth had always been happy in the background, playing roadie. With the lead guitarist’s injury, Gareth is suddenly thrust into the limelight and into a frenzied life he never imagined for himself. Finally fed up with living a lie, Gareth comes out as gay in a newspaper interview and finds himself in the bulls-eye of a crazed stalker. Somebody wants Gareth hurt – or worse – and Mac has been hired to be sure that doesn’t happen. Babysitting duty is NOT Axel’s strong suit, but Mac won’t be budged.

Enter Axel Blaze.

Against his better judgment, the big man takes the job to protect the shy musician. The more time he spends with Gareth Wolf, the more he admires the man. Where’s a simple assassination when you need one? The situation becomes more volatile for each man as the attempts on Gareth escalate just as Axel finds himself falling for the quiet lead guitarist.

Strong, funny, smart-ass — and kinda sweet Axel is everything Gareth has ever wanted in a man. Too bad he’s off limits. As the stalker grows bolder, Gareth and Axel move closer emotionally – but is it too late? All Axel knows is that they don’t stand a chance if he can’t find the maniac trying to kill the man he’s come to care about. A lot.

Everyone knows that relationships that begin in pressured or volatile situations eventually fizzle out.

Or do they?

Fame and Fortune

(An All Cocks Story 02)
by

T.M. Smith

Victor Dimir moved to America with his traditional Romanian parents when he was just a child. His Romani parents taught him their traditions and how to be a shrewd business man. But it was the attention of a classmate at school that taught a teenage Victor about his sexuality. When he came out to his parents he knew it would be difficult for them to understand, but he never expected them to disown him.

Andrew Jones grew up with a single mom and his grandmother teaching him about life, he had an absentee father at best. The only thing the man ever did for Andy that stuck was buy him a camera for his thirteenth birthday. When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.

They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together; a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they were still perfectly happy, they didn’t even realize something was missing, until they met a broken young man that needed a family.

Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. He’d been on his own since he was sixteen when he ran away from home after being brutally assaulted by several other young men that he thought were his friends, and then being told he brought it on himself for being gay by his parents. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?

Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t usually visible on the outside. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew see them, they also see him. Can three men that didn’t even realize they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?

*Advisory warning: This story contains a scene of sexual assault.*

Review: I’m having a hard time rating this book – I typically like an HEA even if I have to go through some pain and angst to get there. This book is very dark and I suppose it could possibly be considered a pseudo happy ending although I didn’t really like the ending.

After reading the synopsis of book 2, that seems like the more logical place to start this series.

Mr. Genis’ writing and story-telling ability are very good. I would guess this was a hard story to tell and he did a good job of telling it.

Rick is obsessed with his PE teacher, Jacques Devereaux – like scary obsessed. He believes himself to be in love with him and fantasizes about them being together. He is angry jealous of Jacques wife which makes his obsession even scarier. Finding out that Rick’s previous relationship is with an older man – 37 to his 18, it seems that Rick has daddy issues that manifest into what he thinks is love because he feels he never had his father’s love.

What I didn’t like about this story was the sudden switch of Jacques from turning down Rick’s advances to suddenly agreeing to have sex with him to being in love. I don’t know if it was because we only saw him through Rick’s eyes and never really got inside his head but it was too quick a turnaround for my liking.

There is a story within the story revolving around Rick and his one-night stand from London, Jared (whom is featured in book 2). This sub-plot is almost as scary, as the story between Jacques and Rick. As you read it, you understand that it is the highest of ironies but it was unsettling at best.

The ending really left me feeling unfulfilled.

Review: Talk about steaming hot.

They all wear mask, but their partners of course know who they are. You have Stud and Blaze, Pretty-Man and Top Dog, Been-Rescued and Rescue-Me, Hoser and Leave-em, Five-Oh and Fuzz, Born-to-Rule and Sub-verted, Hot-Lips and Z…What a party, with sexy men. Add in one waiter and a man with a camera and what do you have…trouble.

So who is behind the mask? Pretty good book even if it is too short. It is a very good short action story.

Blurb: Ex Coast Guardian Kyle Bevins is a joker, a friend, and unlucky in love. His friends know he’s a good guy to turn to if for nothing other than a much needed laugh, but he rarely heeds his own advice. He’s content as the new co-owner of his friend’s charter fishing company in Pensacola Beach, Florida, but he’s missing the companionship of having a significant other and tired of the old hook-ups.

Eddy Jiminez is unlucky, period. He’s been dealt most every negative consequence of being gay. He’s also an ex-con, so he figured he’d play it safe, keep working hard and trying to forget that it was men he craved. But when he meets Kyle, he can’t stop going back for more, but tired of the lies and hurting, he doesn’t want to give Kyle up.
Kyle would do anything to keep Eddy from drowning again, so he decides to see him safely into the big world of being out, but a past connection may ruin everything. Will there be a second chance for both of them, or will their relationship go under?

Review: Note, this is the second book in a series that should be read in order.

Kyle Bevins longs to have something more, someone more actually, in his lonely life. On the surface, he has it all. Openly gay and unapologetic about it, a successful business owner, gorgeous, fun loving and outgoing. But a string of bad relationships and hopeful hook-ups that turned into one night stands have left him wrung out. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise to him when his latest attraction turns out to be less than prince charming. But it still stings.

Eddy Jiminez is just as shocked as the sexy blonde at the bar is when his mouth agrees to follow him home. Eddy has long since tried to bury his homosexuality behind meaningless sex with women and a flare for bullying when he was younger. His temper is almost as large as he is, and his fuse is very short. But there is something in the eyes and the smile of the stranger, he finds himself pushing up against the wall in a dark corner outside the bar.

They both have valid reasons to push each other away, but the reasons to pull close and hold on tight are more appealing. There is an odd sense of familiarity Kyle has with Eddy, an insane attraction and a need to touch him and make it all okay. Eddy is frazzled from issues in his past included violence and abuse, but he has this ability to lose himself in Kyle, and it both exhilarates and scares the living daylights out of him. Gradually they grow closer, learn to trust each other, start to share more and fall in love. In the end, it’s a secret that Kyle holds that threatens to tear them apart, not Eddy.

This is one of Boehme’s best stories yet. He always keeps his stories young and fresh, and even when the subject matter is intense, there is love and understanding underneath that give them an extra edge you can’t help but be drawn to. This story however, bobs and weaves its way through the lives of these two men, tying them together further back than they even realize. This story really took some forethought and planning to come together the way it did in the end. The immediate and intense attraction that Kyle and Eddy shared translated into some amazing sex as well, but there was sensuality and tenderness there from the start.

I definitely recommend this story, just be sure you read Keep Swimming first. I’m anxious and excited to see what book 3 in this series brings as there was a nice little set up for Phil and Kent to get their own story. Of course, the barbershop owner and his parole officer husband could get a book as well. Lots of options here!

Purchase Links: http://www.amazon.com/MAKE-WATCH-The-McIntyre-Men-ebook/dp/B00IXOOLNM

Review: This is book one and two of the McIntyre Men. Book one is about Bobby’s plan to at least top his boyfriend once. He had planned on having his Uncle Henry show Devon how good bottoming was. He wanted Henry to show him an excellent time, but he got caught in his own web. He had to sample Uncle Henry too.

Things didn’t go as plan. He had enjoyed Henry way more than planned. He wanted Devon to catch him topping a pledge brother. Making him run to Henry for comfort. What he had not expected was his father handcuffing him to the chair and watching while he and Henry played with Devon. Making Devon beg to be taken.

He was so turned on and so pissed at the same time. For his father and uncle had decided to teach him a lesson. Devon had been the perfect boyfriend. Caring, loyal and devoted to Bobby. He wanted to bottom for Bobby but he was scared. However to get even with the evil plan that Bobby had come up with he had decided to let Bobby’s dad be his first.

His father had more than just that lesson for him to learn. He had left him cuffed to the table for the campus police to find. One was a married man who wanted to watch while the other officer showed Bobby just how well he topped him. It doesn’t stop there though, because campus police had something else in mind to teach Bobby a lesson.

He had to put camera’s to catch three other pledges in their glory. This story was more about sex then actually having a true story. I mean it does show what happens when someone plans something so devious that someone always gets hurt. It was a very hot story. However, it was not something that I would spend my time with. It was just a lot of boys having sex.

Blurb: Aaron Costa’s summer was all planned. Despite having to remodel the family lake house, it would be a vacation of sorts, and he had every intention of enjoying it—until the friend who was supposed to help him got injured and left him in a lurch. He decides to take the opportunity to bond with his son and hires Julian and his roommate, Malachi, to assist.

As a broke college student, Malachi could use the money, and spending the summer with Aaron for eye candy sounds like a dream. “Look but don’t touch” becomes his motto. But when Julian starts flaking on his responsibilities and Malachi and Aaron are forced to spend long hours alone together, their mutual attraction is impossible to resist.
Aaron can’t fight the temptation sexy Malachi presents.

But more than their age difference stands in their way, not the least of which is Aaron’s semi-closeted status and the fact that he’s never openly discussed his sexuality with his son. He has no idea how Julian will react when he learns his father is not only gay, he’s also dating his best friend.

Review: Yummy, amazing, and sexy as hell are three words I would use to describe this novella. Powerful, emotional, and fun are another three. Honestly, this is one of those books that is so worth it. Piper Vaughn is a new author and knows what she is doing.
Aaron has it all figured out. He has a plan to get a house remodelled in time for a sale in August. But when Malachi comes around willing to do some work to help out, Aaron finds himself consumed and distracted by Malachi’s beauty. A story that is worth the read and amazing as ever, this novella is one for the perfect reads list.

Aaron has his flaws and stands strong no matter what. Malachi is one of those men that doesn’t give up on what he wants when he wants it. And he wants Aaron. A story of understanding, construction, and some hot sex, this is a worthwhile read. I highly recommend it to those that want to have a nice good read. It takes place during the summer but it is perfect for any time of year.

Go on out and get a copy. You won’t regret it at all.

Blurb: Blake is the yoga instructor of Jamie’s dreams. He’s gorgeous, funny, smart, and has a body to die for. There is no way he’d be interested in someone like Jamie, or so the voice inside Jamie’s head says. The same voice that believed all the nasty things his ex, Dan, said.

Jamie is so cute, and shy. Blake just wants to give him a big hug, protect him and then fuck him in that very sexy arse of his. How can he convince Jamie to give him a chance, especially when it becomes clear Blake has his own insecurities that he’ll need Jamie’s help to overcome?

When Dan decides he was a fool to let Jamie go, do Blake and Jamie trust and love each other enough to be what the other needs?

Purchase Link:   http://www.evernightpublishing.com/with-his-yoga-instructor-by-morgan-king/

Review:  Jamie is insecure from having just broken up with his douche nozzle boyfriend.  Blake harbours a secret crush. The men get together and the physical attraction is instant and sizzling. There is a significant amount of man on man loving in the story, and at first blush it may appear to be gratuitous, but as the story progresses, the sex becomes a way for Jamie and Blake not only to bond, but it’s also the metaphor for Jamie moving on by becoming more forceful and uninhibited.  The sex is freeing between the two men and is symbolic of their relationship. Both men must come to new realizations – Jamie, that he is worthy and can be assertive if he needs to be; and, Blake that he needs to let go of some of his inhibitions regarding commitment if he wishes to have a life with Jamie. Blake, while a dreamboat, does have his own issues with personal space and acceptance which must be worked out as well.

Stories told from multiple perspectives are always interesting.  Both Jamie and Blake’s versions are told simultaneously which is always good for the reader because they get to experience both characters PoV. There was even a portion, where the douch nozzle ex-boyfriend, Dan, was given the opportunity to showcase his thoughts.  The pacing of the story was great and believable and when the men had their two crises and were able to resolve them, the reader is pleased.  As shorter stories go, this one was well written, interesting and held the reader’s attention.  The characters of Jamie and Blake are likable and you root for them to work through their individual issues in order for them to be together. When the HEA occurs, the reader is happy.

Unable to stay away from Daniel, Micah continues to return to high society functions and is therefore reminded of the terrible scar on his chest and the man who gave it to him. Micah wants nothing more than to belong to the artistic Daniel, but being with him could mean having to face his dangerous past.

Review: Micah is a paid escort. He is hired to accompany Mr Hart. The blurb pretty much says all I can without giving spoilers.

I truly hate to say I didn’t care much for this story. The blurb sounded good and I had good expectations at least for a good love story. I was sadly disappointed.  I didn’t feel that the story was consistent at all. It starts out with Micah on a paid job and a client wanting to have sex. Micah says he doesn’t do that and doesn’t. The client wants to see him again and Micah says no. The next day he is sent on a date by the agency and the man Mr Hart, sees him and is surprised he expected a girl but  doesn’t seem to mind at all, they get in the limo and  end up doing blow jobs in the  limo,. Ok, so there goes his not putting out for clients and he had said he hasn’t had sex in a long time. Both people are head-over heels. Already and they barely spoke? Even most insta-love there is a bit more to it. Then there is his ominous past. This eluded me to a mystery. All I will say is I was once again let down. There are several more inconsistencies and contradictions galore, but I won’t give away the entire story.

If you like, stories of paid escorts, artists, art shows, hot sex and love at first sight you may like this.

Blurb:Brazie Deschinney had a talent for resurrecting dead or dying internal combustion engines, both large and small. Since his childhood in the San Gabriel Indian Reservation, he fixed cars, trucks, model aeroplanes … bartering food, goods, and sexual favors for payment.

Urged by his parents to join the Navy to see the world and have fun, Brazie discovered that while discrimination always lurks, his amazing mechanical skills could make him friends in all levels of society.

Running roughly parallel to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and the peaking AIDS pandemic in the USA, this is the story of one boy who found love and achieved victory in the end.

Review: This is a bittersweet story of a young American Indian and how he had to fight so many levels of bullying and discrimination. Brazie was always good at any kind of engines and goes into the service to see the world, have fun, and hone his craft.  He immediately is harassed and goes through hell.

There are parallels stories of the Iraqi war and outbreak of Aids.  I liked the story of Brazi his turmoil, and the story of him finding himself and his sexual encounters. I personally could have done without the war parts; it was sort of like reading news reports. I felt the poignancy of this story and focusing on Brazi, the bullying, and the Aids were quite good.  My heart truly went out to the young men and the ending made me cry. (By the way, I like a story that makes me cry)

I recommend this if you like stories with conflict, war, about bullying and discrimination, mechanics, coming out and bittersweet endings.

After a night of passion, they decide they’ve held back their true feelings for too long and want to try a committed relationship.

Review:  Vincent is a gay guy who works as a cashier at Fix-It-Up. He’s been fantasizing about Jason, a co-worker and probably one of the straightest guys he knows. Imagine his surprise when Jason invites him to a basketball game one night after work.

Jason is confused about his sexuality. He knows that Vincent is gay and likes him. It doesn’t bother Jason though because he finds Vincent cute. When he picks Vincent up for the basketball game, he tells him. Vincent is only too happy and nervous at the same time to help Jason explore his curiosity.

From their first kiss, they connected in an emotional way. It went beyond sex from their first time together. In no time, at all they entered the puppy love stage of relationships. Like all relationships, they had their problems to face.

This book has everything I would expect of a full-length novel. There’s love, fear, change, and drama. No story is complete without some type of problem for the characters to face. I was drawn in by Jason and Vincent’s story and the struggles they had to face when their relationship became public. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good read that won’t take them long.

Review: Heather and Justin have been friends practically since they were born. They love each other and nothing or no one could ever come between them. The only thing is, Justin is gay, Heather is straight, and their love is more of a brother sister love not physical.

I was pleasantly surprised by this story. I couldn’t put it down once I started. I loved the bond Justin and Heather shared.  I found the story sweet even if there were a few things that were a bit hard to believe. This is fiction anyhow and who would not want the love these two shared. The only thing I truly missed was there was no backstory of Justin or his family. There was Heather’s mother briefly, but nothing on Justin and he was always at Heather’s.

This is a very character driven story, going through Heather and Justin as they grow up and age. There are a couple little twists that had me on the edge of my seat but made me love Justin even more.

I recommend this if you like deep emotional stories, tight friendships, both Gay and hetero sex (not mixed or not any threesomes) and an all-over interesting love story.

Blurb: Wanted: one bear. Must be burly and hairy, and strong enough to paddle. Hunter Bell is on the prowl, and he knows just where to find his prey: at the Bear Trap, a gay leather bar he’s more than a little familiar with. So many men, so little time. He’s just about to pounce on his choice of the evening when a newcomer enters the bar, turning everyone’s head. Adrian Michaels is everything Hunter despises in a man. He’s lean and boyish looking, and he has the deepest dimples Hunter’s ever seen.

And yet there is an immediate attraction, one that neither man can deny. They’re both too astonished to do anything about this apparent interest in one another, and they waste their opportunity. Now it’s up to Hunter to forget about his stereotypical preference and go for the guy that’s just entered his dreams. If only he can admit to himself that Adrian’s what he really wants…

Review: This short story has a very simple plot, an old-time classic he’s-not-my-type where the protagonist suddenly realizes he’s into a man who doesn’t check even one box of his preferences. In addition, this story has the insta-lust/insta-love thing going on for which I don’t actually care. This thing “I took one look at you and fell head over heels” is a total red flag for me. So how come I liked this?

I have no idea how it happened but I can safely declare that I was bewitched by this read in the exact same way Hunter got bewitched by Adrian. Those words in this text must have had some kind of a spell, because I was enwrapped in there from page one and when I came out of it I was even slightly bedazzled.

The plot was not challenging at all, but it flew so effortlessly. The character’s emotions were not only easily accessible but they kind of stuck with you and made you feel along with the characters with a smile plastered on your face, which you only notice after your face start to feel sore from its constant presence.

And he’s another thing that baffled me; the spanking. Hunter is this mean bear who’s in the hunt for a guy of his caliber, strong enough to handle what he can dish out. Is in a mean state to dish out pain, power, struggle, and hard sex. Instead, he’s stranded with Adrian, who’s the exact opposite of what Hunter’s looking for. And he turns mellow, caring, and considerate. Their only “rough play” is spanking and by all that is right with the world I should have disliked the Hell out of this. I’m still baffled that not only I liked it, I found so damn suiting this pair, and so very erotic, that I have my mind made. There is some serious spell in this book. It’s enchanted, no other way about it.

I suppose I should have expected this on some level as Ms. Kat’s work up until now has left me quite satisfied. She made this pair work and she did it with a dose of humor I can’t resist. I loved these men, loved their banter, and loved how they interacted, the awkwardness, the coming together. I found them hot and sexy, sensual and erotic. So much so that I didn’t mind at all the elements that usually put me off. No, not only I didn’t mind them, I found them mandatory into making this read the enjoyable and fun one it is.

For me this story worked, and it worked well. Recommended!

Review:  Mitchell Bartlett is a Deputy Sheriff in a small town located in Southwestern Wyoming. He didn’t expect to feel anything sexual for the rock star, when he knocked on his door, to tell him to turn the music down.

Drago was attracted to the Deputy Sheriff the moment he saw the billboards around town with his picture on it. When he opened his door to see him, he’s surprised and can’t help but flirt with him a bit.

Mitch can’t get Drago off his mind. He stops by the next day and Drago recommends they spend the weekend together. Mitch takes him up on it and the chemistry they have is great. The sex scenes are some of the best M/M sex scenes I’ve read. This was a short sweet read, that I would recommend friends.

Review: This was a very good book with a great story line. Only a little writing mistake noticed, otherwise was an enjoyable read. I loved that Sam wanted to help others with cancer, all because of his father’s death when he was a young child. He has a hot encounter with his boss, Elliot, not realizing who he was. Jealous co-worker running her mouth gives him doubt and he almost loses the one chance at something wonderful. I wish that the story was just a little bit longer, but I would read it again.
