Review: Albert has a girlfriend who refuses to do anything with him sexually until their wedding. Albert is frustrated to say the least. Being trapped in an elevator with arch rival Douglas makes him see the man in a new light. One thing leads to another and they awkwardly come together.

Although I liked the story of two straight guys being together it was awkward when they did get together. I could not believe Albert dated a woman who pushed him away when it came to sex, it was no wonder he turned to someone else.

This story was well written but at the same time there seemed to be something missing which I could never pinpoint. Aside from that it was entertaining.

Good read.

When a twenty-two year old defendant stood before him, Judge Powers once again, ruled in favor of allowing this man to work off his sentence by paying him to do his yard-work.

When Charlie McMullen was caught holding one of his brother friend’s bags of weed, Charlie figured he was done for. But, lucky him, he was brought before a former marine, and a man who looked scary, but maybe wasn’t.

As the judge and Charlie’s lives become intertwined, chaos follows.
With fall and Halloween approaching, Lawrence wondered if this year he was going to be given a treat, instead of tricked.

The judge. Held to a higher standard? Or…just another bad boy in a robe?

Review: Lawrence is a married father of three. Charlie is a twenty two year old charged with drug possession and sentenced to community service. These two are hot together despite their age difference.

I found Lawrence to be honest to a point with a good head on his shoulders except when it came to Charlie. They were constantly getting into trouble with others finding them in certain situations. Charlie was sweet. I loved his character.

Although I myself am not a fan of married people being with others this story worked well considering Lawrence’ marriage was not a happy one in the least. I found myself cheering both Lawrence and Charlie on hoping they find their happy ever after.

Great read.

Review: Cute story about two straight guys who basically get caught up in matchmaking plan by Annie. Shane and John Paul were great together. I loved the humorous scenes as they gave a sort of comedy relief between the scenes. Annie was a great character and matchmaker. I enjoyed her matchmaking and antics.

John Paul and Shane were hot together. I was cheering them on even at the beginning when they kissed on a dare. This was the start of them questioning whether or not they were straight to begin with.

A lot of drama, comedy and steamy situations that have the right amount of interest. All in all a great story with plenty of heat and comedy for the readers to enjoy.

Great read.

Blurb: 2017: A new world.

No matter what your views are of love and life, things have changed.

In a climate of uncertainty where fear and intimidation became the norm, individuals dealt with their lives in their own way.

Thirty-five year old Liam Sinclair kept to himself, tried to avoid conflict and ridicule, but…wasn’t happy with what felt like an angry country.

Innocent, young, temp, Milo D’Amico couldn’t hide in plain sight. Since the hostilities of current politics had turned against the LGBT community, Milo had been attacked.

It took him time to recover, but he was managing, working for a new job, with a new boss.

In what had become a war between ‘us’ and ‘them’, first impressions were misleading.

Before his attack, Milo had been confident in his future, being out, turning twenty-one and filled with hope…until he came face to face with a closeted older man. The combination of Milo’s potent sexual experience, and Liam’s unexpected inexperience, created wild sparks in the bedroom, and a secret life at work.

Something to believe in…

Sometimes, all you have to have faith in, is love.

Review: I cannot express how much this story touched me. Milo is an out and proud gay man until he is brutally beaten and left for dead. While recovering from his harrowing ordeal in a hospital he discovers he is no longer proud as he cowers at everything as result of what happened. It truly pissed me off to no end that people think they have the right to do bodily harm to someone simply because they do not agree with their sexuality.

Milo gets a new job working for Liam. For all outward appearances Liam is straight. But that is not true. Liam is in the closet and has no plans to come out. When he learns of what happened to Milo he grows closer to the man.

This story is a wonderful tale of two men who fight the odds in an uncertain world and find comfort and shelter in the other’s arms. It moved me beyond words. I felt my heart cry out for these two as the story unfolded.

Fantastic read and highly recommended.

Review: Ethan wants more than working behind the scenes. He wants to be in the movies. He meets Hollywood Mogul Cliff and starts an affair with him in the hopes of starring in one of his movies. What he doesn’t expect is to become attracted to actor Josh Nash. Caught between two lovable men Ethan does not know what to do.

I found the story to be well written and interesting as we follow Ethan throughout his decisions and ordeals. It was humorous at times with Ethan’s interactions with Cliff and Josh and had a lighter quality to it that blended perfectly in the story.

The sex was hot and steamy as expected. Ethan seemed to have the best of two wonderful men at his disposal. I enjoyed reading this story as it progressed. Full of humor and drama this book keeps your attention to the very end.

Great read.

Review: Two men who come together after a catastrophic rainstorm find a love they never dreamed of. Callum was a NYC stockbroker whose parents died in the world trade center attack. Since then he has kept to himself. Finding Angelo, a filmmaker unconscious in his barn after a vicious rainstorm with no way to get help.

He takes the man home and nurses him back to health. While healing Angelo and Callum get to know one another and discover that even though both are straight they have an undeniable bond to each other.

I felt bad for Callum’s loss and Angelo’s need to get away from the film industry. It seemed these two men needed each other in order to go on a different path that is much happier than the one they are currently on.

Well written this book draws you in and doesn’t let go until the very end.

Review: A great book about two men who come together in a weird sort of fate. Both men have suffered unbearable loss as the try to live their lives. Channing Preston is an attorney who still grieves for the child he lost seven years prior.

Gerry is a man who witnessed a horrible murder years ago and testified against the perpetrators. He has the same name as Channing’s son and looks similar. That causes problems for Channing as his hopes sore that it’s his son.

When these two men finally talk its haunting and heartbreaking at the same time. I can’t imagine what these two men have been through. My heart went out to them both.

It seemed that they needed each other to find some semblance of a life. It was an emotional journey of finding one’s self after such tragic events. I felt sorry for Channing and the way he struggled at times with his feelings for.

Loved it.

Review: I am not going to tell what the story is about since the blurb above covers it quite well. If you are waiting for my usually line of this is a sweet romance…it’s not coming. Its edgy, angsty, emotional, and sexy. There are scenes that walk a thin line on the border of non-consent when Corey and Dax battle for dominance and a touch of violence when Corey robs the jewelry store. I loved Dax’ battle between right and wrong, then his feelings for Corey.

My heart went out to both men in very different ways. Though what Corey did was very wrong and I felt he did not mean to implement Dax the way he did, part of me wondered if he didn’t plan it that way. Dax’ inner turmoil was perfect.

I felt so many emotions while reading this story and highly recommend it.

If you like something different, angsty, edgy stories with some hot mans-sex this is for you.

Blurb: When a young man dies in an accident, the gathering of friends and family mourning his loss is a painful task. And this pain was no less for the men who met up at the chapel to say goodbye to Sonny ‘Spike’ Ellis.

As the four men congregate near the coffin they begin to share their experiences with Spike with each other. A closer friendship forms- but- for two of the men the funeral is simply too unbearable to endure.

One of the men, Grayson, suggests they head out for a drink, leaving the chapel, avoiding the graveside service, and commiserate together.

He gets no argument from the other three.

During an afternoon of conversation, and a ton of alcohol, the men who had all known each other by sight or through sexual hookups at clubs, begin to bond, share their contact with Spike, and…have sex. Wild, uninhibited sex.

Perhaps the grief had made each man realize their mortality, or maybe a new credo of ‘Live for Today’. Whatever had happened that day at the funeral, four men became committed to one another as a brotherhood…and love bloomed from the ashes.

4 Men and a Funeral.

Perhaps even in the darkest hour…life moves on.
(Warning! This novel contains erotic sexual situations in the form of men loving men. If you find this objectionable, I suggest you do not purchase this novel.)

Review: Everyone deals with grief in their own way. Some choose to be alone in solitude, some to have someone with them. In this book several men choose to deal with the grief together in spite of not knowing one another well. Although the reason why they get together is sad there is plenty of different hot action throughout this book.

Grayson, Rory, Lucas and Aaron have a difficult time attending Spike’s funeral and so all head to Grayson’s to talk. After some drinking and talking one thing leads to another and they all end up in a passionate four way.

Though this story seems more about how someone deals with grief it’s not the only thing I got out of it. Two beautiful lasting relationships were formed as a result of four men coming together in a time of need and grief. Great story.

G.A. Hauser has a knack for taking a tragic event and turning it into a learning and inspirational story. Well written.

Blurb: In 1972 John Edward Hudson, graduated high-school in the Midwest, avoided the draft by telling the men at the processing center he was gay, and left for Hollywood, California, the same day as his high school sweetheart, Vic Cassavelli, drove off in the opposite direction, to go to college at Yale.

At eighteen, both men had different ideas and goals, and knew having a committed relationship at that age, with the entire country between them, was never going to work.

With only a few dollars in his pocket, John hitched-hiked and rode the bus to LA and landed in the middle of West Hollywood. A wonderland of insanity, right after the 60’s revolution of sex, drugs, rock and roll, race riots and hippies. Gorgeous, and slightly naïve, John was thrown into the chaos of LA’s gay culture and taken in by an older man, who was kind enough to house him and receive an occasional sexual act in return, and supply John with as much recreational dope as he could handle.

Heaven or hell, John was introduced to every kind of pleasure imaginable, including a budding transsexual named Kitten, whom he adored, as well as a revolving door of handsome older men who used John in drug-enhanced sexual orgies. He loved every moment of it.

But John’s goal was not only to savor the hedonistic lifestyle of gay LA– it was to become a star!

His benefactor knew a friend of a friend, of a friend, who knew a Hollywood talent agent named, Jack Turner. Infamous for his couch practices, Mr. Turner also had some luck turning young men into mega stars.

As John lives and learns the hard lessons of ‘life in the fast lane’, coming from what may as well have been a foreign land, the American Midwest, John is not only aroused by the pleasures life has to offer, he is woken up to reality. Some good, some bad.
And that reality may be what he left behind.

The 70s…Vietnam, protests, lava lamps, day-glow posters, and decadence that knew no bounds.

Take a trip back in time with John, and see where life takes him. He could end up being a friend of Dorothy’s, and clicking the heels of his well-worn boots repeating, “There’s no place like home”, or he could be the 70s next superstar.

Review: This story takes place in the 70’s. John is a naive young man who travels to Hollywood and is introduced to a world he is not familiar with by Eddy, an older man. Drugs, orgies, and a lot of sex are throughout this book.

Eddy introduces John to Jack, a Hollywood agent, to help him reach his dream. I didn’t care for the fact that Jack only took on clients who had oral sex with him first. Jack seemed sleazy to me.
I wasn’t quite sure what to make of John’s love interests. He still cared for Vic his ex who lives in Connecticut and a transsexual named Kitten who lives at the same house as he does with Eddy. Though it was sweet to read about Kitten and John’s interactions.

I really liked how Eddy and Kitten helped John when he needed it the most. There is a lot of sex in this book as it shows what might possibly have happened in Hollywood during the 70’s.

Though this is not my favorite book of G.A. Hauser’s it was well written and kept the reader’s interest.

Review: This was an emotional book to read. Reading how Gunner stuck with his partner Louis, as he battled testicular cancer, was awe-inspiring yet heartbreaking at the same time. Gunner seemed like a man who was determined to stick by his partner’s side no matter what. I admired that about him.

When he meets Leif, a personal trainer and finds out he may be facing the same thing Louis did my heart literally cried for him. I can’t imagine how watching someone you love fades away, let alone possibly going through it twice. This book has a roller coaster of emotions as each man deals with the situation in their own ways.

I was cheering for Leif to make it through his ordeal alright. The intensity throughout takes your breath away. Wonderfully written story.

Blurb: Working as a medic for the army special forces, Dan G. Wilson and his team came upon a troop of their own men, well behind enemy lines in a ‘safe zone’ all with symptoms of being exposed to poison gas. When Dan’s team reported their findings to their commanding officers, nothing was done about it, and the group remained baffled as to how US military troops were exposed and died if the gas did not come from the enemy.

Once his tour of duty was over, Dan did not reenlist, and neither did the men from his unit.
Back in civilian life, struggling from PTSD as well as a head injury Dan cannot function and is placed on disability. When he tries to contact the other members of his unit, he finds one by one, each of the men has died from ‘accidents’. Off shift, Darius stays in the hospital until the man is out of surgery to see if he survives, only to witness two men in suits, also waiting for the victim.

Review: Rudy is an ex medic for the army special forces. After witnessing a terrible event and telling his commanding officers, he and his men decide not to reenlist. One by one, his men are killed in “accidents.” The story starts with him being rushed to hospital after being hit by a car. Rudy struck me as someone who is tough and does what needs to be done yet is hurting inside as he suffers from what he’s been through.

Darius is one of the responding firemen who help Rudy after he’s been hit. After realizing that someone is trying to kill Rudy, he protects him at the hospital, and then secretly moves him to his home. Darius seemed like a very caring individual who is also still trying recover from things in his past.

Rudy and Darius seemed to help one another cope with their pasts as well as trying to bring down a huge company. Amazing story of the lengths a group of people will go to prevent what they’ve done to become public knowledge and escape justice. I couldn’t believe what the chemical did and was disgusted by them.

Great story with drama, mystery, action, and suspense. The intimate scenes between Rudy and Darius added a delightful pause between the seriousness of the story. Great read.

Blurb: Working undercover was not one of Dee William’s favorite assignments, but when things in his life got too complicated, he decided to accept the offer. Dee was to infiltrate one of LA’s most violent street gangs, and help the authorities build a RICO case against the gang leader. What Dee finds is that the gang is not the real target of the Bureau. They are out to net bigger fish, leaving Dee to broker drug deals worth millions of dollars and placing his life on the line.

Karl Mullens was trapped. His sister, who had died of an overdose, had left him to pick up the debt, and that meant Karl was forced to join a gang he despised, to repay it. With the lives of his family in the balance, Karl endures the violence and pressure from the gang, until a new member joins them, goes through the brutal hazing and begins to show the top dog just how much of an asset he is by bringing big hauls of cash and heroin into their pockets.

What neither Karl nor Dee expected was the risky attraction that formed between them, and soon, both men learn each other secrets and sexual desires. Desires that place them in greater danger.

The only thing left for each man is the hope of getting out alive. But now Dee and Karl know they have an ally in this gang of murderers and thieves. Each other. And there is no doubt the bond they have created together gives them one choice… to kill to protect one other.
And on the mean streets of the worst areas of LA, death means nothing…

But Dee finds, love means…everything.

Review: This was a fantastic book to read.

Dee Williams is undercover in a very violent street gang. There he meets Karl Mullens, a reluctant member of the gang who was coerced into joining to pay off his sister’s debt to them. Both men are attracted to each other but have to be extremely careful not to let it show to any of the gang members or it could mean their deaths. Slowly things start to unravel around them, as things get more and more dangerous with the unstable gang leader, L-Man and the man he works for W-T. There are accusations made against Dee and Karl by L-Man and W-T for a drive by shooting and Dee being a cop. After being kidnapped by W-T and three of his men, Dee is beaten up badly. Eventually, he gets himself free and gets control of the other 4 men. He calls the feds to pick them up.

There was nonstop action, danger, and mystery throughout this wonderfully written book. Some scenes had me holding my breath wondering what was going to happen next. So much happened throughout this story that made it an excellent read when combined all together. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fast-paced nonstop action.

Review: This is a book that tells the story of two patrol officers, Jeff and Mickey. Now, apparently there’s been a prequel to this when Jeff and Mick first met, and there is some debate about this one not following properly on the previous story. However, I having read only this believe this is an easy standalone and did not feel lost in following it.

Reading this book left me with lots of feelings and thoughts. There are the realistic details of the job described that, while they gave the story credibility, were a bit too much. Too much detail and I started feeling the weight of all the mundane little things a cop endures during his routine. I suppose it was a great way to show how and why Jeff got burn out from his job and wanted to move on, but by the end of it, it got too tiresome.

Some of those incidents though were spectacular, like when our guys get a welfare call. Good grief, I felt as if I was a bystander there and started to actually gag from the images the description caused. In the end I simply wished this read was polished a bit more and had only the intensity and the events instead of every little detail about the straps holding the Kevlars, the cleaning of the weapons and the routine of changing from civilian clothes to uniform.

More thoughts brought the relationship this pair shared. Jeff and Mickey are lovers in closet. It’s easy to see why as they are cops and don’t want the derision of their fellow cops, and they are partners in their job. A coming out would only serve in their splitting and not working together anymore, which brings us to the theme of the book.

Jeff needs to move along in his career, he has the chance to do so by testing for sergeant, but Mickey freaks out at the idea of not working with his lover, not having him to back him up, or make the day and the patrol worthwhile. Seeing as they constantly had risqué sex while working, get on each other in parking lots, and abandoned buildings, Mickey goes completely nuts at the idea of working alone. So the entire story revolves around Jeff wanting to get off the first line of fire and Mickey throwing an outrageous drama fit that, while quite aggressive, was unbelievably selfish.

This is the part that the book lost me completely. I didn’t mind the risky behavior, I didn’t mind their interactions with their friends – and let me tell you that was one weird interaction even for me – I didn’t mind the impossibly long details as much as I minded Mickey’s behavior. I don’t think I’ve encountered a more selfish character that didn’t get redeemed in the end. This story ends with a huge guilt trip Mick throws onto Jeff and I was standing there, slack-jawed and wondering what the hell just happened?

Bottom end, I liked the whole aggressive, risky sex in this book, I liked the incidents the cops found in their work, even the little ones, and I liked the chemistry between the two, but I did not enjoy the rest at all. The fact that this could have been much shorter if properly polished and much more bearable made the frustration grow there at the end.

Blurb: All Wade Reed wanted to do was make it to his brother, Cole’s parole hearing at Corcoran State Prison. But the forty-year-old environmental planner from LA never made it. With a bad navigation system and the infamous Tule fog, Wade ended up on a road to nowhere, his BMW stuck in the mud. His gas tank running low, no phone reception, Wade couldn’t think of a worse scenario.

Until…headlights appeared through the gloom.

Twenty-two year old Ayden Solomon worked with his three brothers and father on the almond orchard in the Great Central Valley. Ayden, being the youngest, and prettiest, was constantly the source of amusement for his brothers’ teasing and put up with it, but grew weary of the bullying. At night, when he was alone in his room, Ayden drew superhero comics, a dynamic duo who he imagined would save the world from bullies…bullies who attacked men like him. Gay men.

After unsuccessfully trying to pull Wade’s car out of the ditch, and getting himself stuck as well, the two strangers spend the night in Ayden’s truck, keeping warm, talking, bonding, and sharing things with each other; personal things. Ayden and Wade, although had nothing in common, got to know each other on a very deep level in the eight hours they were sitting in the dense fog, alone and completely isolated.

What had begun as a frustrating trip for Wade had turned into a gay erotic fantasy with a young stud. But neither man could imagine what would come next, when the city slicker met…The Farmer’s Son.

Review: This book unfortunately was not to my satisfaction. It started with an interesting idea, with two men coming from two different worlds. The city guy, whose family was very supportive of him while completely shunning the stray son, and the farmer boy, whose life always was miserable in the middle of nowhere with no one to understand him, let alone accept him. Add to that the age gap between the two men and you have a story there.

As I said, the idea was very interesting but the way the story unraveled was too unreal. Call me cynical but I just couldn’t handle the whole “I met you, gave you my virginity and fell in love” line. It’s too much, or maybe my romantic side was asleep for this read. They dynamic between the pair are somehow disturbing at first.

Ayden is twenty-two and a virgin, never felt even a touch from another man and when he meets Wade, a stranger, in need he tries to help him, but gets stuck instead. For twenty-two years he’s been careful to not even lay eyes upon another guy so he’ll not get discovered, yet in a matter of a very, very small time not only he confesses to Wade he’s gay, but he goes and narrates his whole life in the farm and all his troubles to a complete stranger. The way he clings to Wade is also beyond my sphere of comfort. In one night Ayden has explored and experimented with his gay stranger, has opened his heart at him and has decided to leave in the morning to L.A. and leave his family behind. Add to this the idea Wade suggests Ayden about his father and brothers and all of the sudden Ayden’s eyes open and… Quite unreal.

As for Wade, he is a grown up man forty years old, has had his share with young ones who have cheated him with other young ones (and this is constantly repeated in the text), he is supposed to be mature yet he pick a kid in the middle of the night and takes him from his family home to keep him in his L.A. condo.

As I said, this did not appeal to me and I was completely detached from the main characters. They did not only warm up to me, but I never saw them in the light of “this could happen.” It was as if I was reading a contemporary fairytale, a new take on Cinderella. Even the erotic scenes didn’t make me get lost in them, although I have to admit to them being quite funny once the pair settled in L.A. and Ayden revealed his playful side and his superheroes worship.

The end of the book, just like the entirety of it was one of the same. Imagine an invisible fairy Godmother sprinkling pixie dust on everybody and the personalities stuck in a slump for years suddenly were let free. The bullies became loving brothers horsing around; the homophobic father suddenly became loving and caring, a mother that did not exist until not gained a voice and actually had a dialogue scene. And on the other side, parents who for years didn’t care for their son in prison suddenly remembered that they have compassion in them. And I do mean suddenly literally.

Now I understand that if I didn’t mind the whole fairytale approach I might have seen this book in a different light. The moral behind it did not escape me, but in the whole, I didn’t enjoy the book all that much.

First published September 2007 – Linden Bay Romance

Review: Dave is going about his job when he gets a call to another crime scene; it’s the third murder in three days.   As he is getting information, the FBI turn up and he is instantly attracted to one of them.  as the case progresses he embarks on his first gay relationship and he is loving it. Robbie is an agent called in on the case of a horrific serial killer, Dave immediately catches his eye and Robbie can only hope that when the case has ended they will still be around.

This is an incredibly brilliant, suspense, mystery and action story. It has been one of my favorites for years and I can’t see that changing anytime soon. Dave has always been in the closet and has never acted on his desires… until he meets Robbie.  Robbie is confident, observant and usually right, when he sets his sights on Dave during the investigation, they both end up falling hard.

This book is not for the faint hearted, it’s for those readers who love gritty, slightly dark, gruesome, bloody stories where love blossoms. It’s a brilliantly written book that keeps you gripped as you read, there is no pussy footing around in the opening scenes and it starts as it means to go on.  so just be thankful that the opening scene is pretty mild compared to later ones. Both Robbie and Dave’s characters are well portrayed and have great personalities.

The relationship between Dave and Robbie is wonderfully done for the situation. Because of Dave being in the closet there is a lot of sneaking around and trying to hide how they both feel.  Although when Robbie’s colleagues find out Robbie puts them in their place with a few well-chosen words. Even though it is interracial other than their descriptions it isn’t focused on.  It’s just two men who work together who fall in love. There are several action scenes that are brilliantly written and I really enjoyed that it wasn’t an open and shut case and that they got frustrated with their lack of progress.

This book I will recommend this book to everyone , but especially those who love thrillers, mystery, action, suspense, chases, cat and mouse games, hot sex and (finally) a happy ending. P.S. when I say gruesome I mean GRUESOME.

Racing raindrops by Sue Brown (56pgs) Hearts: ♥♥♥3 ½

Caught by an unexpected rain shower, Tony DiMarco seeks shelter in a bar. The last thing Tony expects is to be propositioned by the hot bartender and his equally hot cousin. Mac and Chase make it clear it’s his decision, but Tony is torn between his desires and his responsibilities. On a sudden whim he decides to let the raindrops sheeting down the window make the decision. If they go right he’ll say yes to a night of sex that might blow his world apart, if the rain goes left he’ll leave and never look back.

Review: Tony hides his sexuality because he knows what would happen if his father or his employer found out.  He meets Mac and Chase and they have him tempted to look for something more.

This is a cute read which is extremely hot, we see Tony battling with indecision as he tries to decide if he should take the two hunky men up on their offer.   and we see Chase and Mac want more than just one night with Tony. Not quite a HEA but a beginning …maybe?

Nasty Boys by G.A. Hauser (78pgs) Hearts: ♥♥2 ½

Fire-fighter by day, sex god by night, ‘Clyde’ chased his dream in Hollywood to be the top gay male porn star in West Hollywood. What Clyde didn’t expect was a little help from a pretty-boy superstar. ‘Blaze’ lights this fireman’s world on fire!

Review: Clyde wants to fulfill his dreams of being a sex god porn star and ‘Blaze’ wants a night out with the hunky Clyde.

Clyde is not quite as tough and macho as he appears wanting a gentler lover and something more than a quick hook up; we feel his longing for more.   ‘Blaze’ also wants something different and he seems to find it in Clyde. The story cuts off a bit abruptly and is a novella for the Action series so I don’t know if we will see more of Clyde. This is good for a quick scorching sex fix.

The Soul Awakening by SammyJo Hunt (68pgs) Hearts: ♥♥♥♥♥5

While on promotional tour across Europe, Michael Nolan’s rental car encounters engine trouble and leaves him stranded in the dead of night. The offer of help from a tall dark stranger sets him upon a life-altering course of events. It could lead to love…but more likely, his own private hell.

Review: Michael gets lost on a dark country road when his car breaks down.   There he meets Zandor who comes to his rescue and turns his life upside down.

Zandor wants nothing more than for someone to love him and to share his lonely existence.   He finds that in Michael.   Michael wants Zandor but is too scared to give up his life and everything he knows.  Brilliant writing with a twist on vampires and the emotions from the characters are wonderful… a definite must read.

Chasing Deuce by Patricia Logan (63pgs) Hearts: ♥♥♥♥♥5

Has Colt’s fantasy of bringing Slade into the bedroom with Deuce driven Deuce away for good or can Colt lure the handsome cowboy home to be loved by two instead of one? Slade has been in lust for Colt for years. Will he get the opportunity to taste the man he’s always wanted and the added bonus of his cowboy lover?

Review: Colt loves Deuce but he wants a bit of spice with Slade.  Deuce loves and adores Colt but feels betrayed that Colt needs someone other than him.   Slade has wanted Colt for many years and he’s now in his grasp.

Deuce’s feelings are fully understandable and you can sympathize with him when he leaves but he loves Colt too much and they try to work it out. The sex is outstanding and the storyline will bring out conflicting feelings in you… a definite must read now.

Dreaming of You by Lisa Worrall (61pgs) Hearts: ♥♥♥♥♥5

Noah Kinkade is an up and coming designer, one of the best newcomers in the field. When he is hired to restore the old Seevers mansion to its former glory, he thinks all his dreams have come true. He doesn’t know how right he is.

Review: Noah is working all the hours that God sends on a mansion and it’s affecting his life.   Sebastian is waiting for his lost love Thomas and Noah is the spitting image of him.

This is a brilliant little novella, the storyline is fantastic and the characters are great. The sex is scorching hot and they all find love. The story also flicks to 1861 and it really adds to the book, this is great for those who love the paranormal.
