Blurb: Is there a fated path we follow, or is it simply a series of coincidental events?

Police officer Kellan Howard is rumoured to have spent too much time in sub-zero temperatures, leaving him with a block of ice for a heart and women lining up to help thaw it. Mountain climbing is his only love, leaving no time for a relationship, and although meaningless sex satisfies his physical need, it’s empty.

When he attends a fatal traffic accident, he didn’t expect his entire life to change. Along with a final message, Kellan is offered something else from the dying man: the chance to fall in love. Kellan’s never considered being with a man, but when he meets Valentino, he’s instantly drawn to him.

Suffering from crippling agoraphobia, talented Italian artist Valentino has a solitary existence, only experiencing life outside the house through his partner Stuart. When their relationship comes to an abrupt end, Kellan helps ease his suffering. A deep bond binds the two men together, and the sexual tension can’t be denied, but Valentino questions if the distance between their very different lives is too much, and if they can bridge the gap by themselves.

Ballet dancer Blue has a vibrant personality which demands attention, but his humour and courageous attitude are a shield. Blue’s good at making others believe in themselves, but what he needs is someone to believe in him. He could be the bridge both men are looking for, but Blue’s never allowed anyone to get too close, and when Kellan and Valentino enter his life, he desperately tries to protect his heart and his secrets.

When all three meet, the chemistry is undeniable, but each have fears about moving forwards. Together, they learn love comes in many forms. It can’t be restrained or labelled, and it doesn’t always appear in the way you first imagined.

**Blue is a standalone book, and although characters from previous books do make an appearance, it won’t spoil their stories if you choose to read them afterwards.**

Review: Officer Kellan Howard spends all his time not on the job climbing mountains and hiking, he is very much an adventurer at heart. It’s this experience that has Kellan out assisting stranded motorists during a bad snow storm. When he stumbles upon a bad wreck, the last thing he expects is for the man in the car to ask Kellan to take care of the partner he will be leaving behind.

Valentino hasn’t left the home he and his partner Stuart share in years, a strangling case of agoraphobia keeps a tight rein on the Italian painter. When Kellan knocks on his door with the news of Stuart’s death, even then, Tino can’t bring himself to step foot across the threshold of his prison disguised as a home.

Blue Parr-OT is lightening in a bottle! Young, vivacious, and frightening, the adorable little blonde pixie that reminds Kellan of Tinker Bell on crack, has no filter and no problem putting all six foot four inches of Kellan Howard in his place. The ballet dancer has more energy than ten grown men and does a fantastic job of hiding his vulnerability beneath a smart mouth and quick wit.

As Kellan fulfills Stuart’s dying request, looking after Tino, the two develop a bond that blurs the lines between friendship and romance. When push comes to shove, Tino pushes Kellan away, certain he will never be able to love Kellan the way he deserves because his heart still belongs to Stuart. Enter Blue. From the first glance and accidental shove, the two go out of their way to make the other miserable.

Foreplay.

The banter back and forth is hysterical and in an odd way, it causes them both to let down their guard and genuinely begin to care for each other. Blue is young and he’s been hurt by a man he trusted and loved, so he is understandably hesitant to move too fast. Kellan refuses to let him go though, he lost his chance at happiness with Tino, allowing the man to shut Kellan out of his life, he will not let Blue do the same. In a strange twist of fate, the three men end up tied together and trying to figure out how they can move forward without one of them winding up alone and broken hearted.

This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions let me just tell you. Laughter, tears, angst and love all woven together to create the perfect triad for these three men. Each one has their own distinct, individual personality that, when joined, strengthens their relationship as a throuple. There are some kinks to work through first though and lord if Blue doesn’t make it come across as hysterical insanity.

Seriously, the banter back and forth between Blue and Kellan will leave you in stitches, and it never stops. Tino is a lover not a fighter. However, Blue could test the patience of a saint. What I found very intriguing was that every time Blue went off on a tangent about something vital or important, he was usually right and though his men cussed, yelled and gave just as good as they got… they knew their young, inexperienced partner only had their best interest at heart.

There was an amazing twist toward the end of the book that blew me away, the circle of life, that’s all I’m gonna say. If you are a fan of ménage stories, characters with attitude and flair and/or hard fought for happy ever afters, you simply must read this book.

Start at the beginning though if you haven’t read any of the previous books. Each story is about a different throuple, yes, but it’s a continuation so to speak.

Review: Liam and Troy are foster brothers, best friends and roommates. The only constant in their lives since they were barely teenagers has been each other. Neither of them have ever had a successful relationship, partly because they keep choosing the wrong guys, but mostly because they make each other’s dating lives impossible by disapproving of any guy the other dates.

You see, almost as long as Liam and Troy have known each other, they’ve loved each other far deeper than just brothers or friends. The problem is, neither is willing to admit that to themselves, much less to the other.

Dalton is an aging, overweight cop in a bad marriage. Intimacy and passion are words that are absent from his dictionary, hence the reason he is going through a divorce. Trying to get his life back on track mentally, physically and emotionally for his personal and work well-being, Dalton crosses paths with both Liam and Troy separately and enters into a tentative relationship with both. A tug of war or sorts ensues when the three men realize what is happening.

But what if the only way for these three decidedly different men to be happy is with each other, all three together?

After first meeting Dalton in Saving Samuel as a secondary character, Milo’s best friend, I was anxious for his story. I really enjoyed seeing how he went from depressed, lonely, overweight and generally just miserable in his life to someone who was happy, passionate, hopeful and caring. He grew by leaps and bounds as the story progressed and it was the most prevalent aspect of this story for me.

I’m also a HUGE fan of throuples, especially when the reason they are together is valid. Liam and Troy are miserably, secretly in love with each other but refuse to admit it. When Dalton is unknowingly thrown into the mix, the lion’s den for lack of a better term, Liam and Troy have to face the reality of possibly no longer existing in the bubble they’ve created if they don’t face their mutual attraction to each other, as well as Dalton.

I also enjoyed the circles that overlapped, all three men completely clueless. You have Dalton and Liam, Dalton and Tony, and Liam and Tony. Each relationship is its own circle and the three overlap but never meet in the middle. When they finally do, the outcome is unclear for a while. The pace of the story was fantastic, everything slowly revealed at the appropriate time.

And though you knew there was a confrontation coming, you didn’t know when or how and I thought that was written nicely as well. Mostly, I enjoyed the character development of Dalton as an individual and the three of them as a throuple. The Liam, Troy not sharing their feelings with each other aspect of the story was a stretch for me, but aside from that, I really loved this book.

A kaleidoscope of emotions… Love, passion, angst, fear, anger and anxiety just to name a few, but it’s all nicely woven together by the author. I cannot wait for Blue’s story! More threesomes!!!
