Review: Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Huck is a sweet young man who choses the worst friends. He now has a record because of one. He helped burn down the ranches barn, all because Rex had been a bigot. Now he was trying to fix his past, and start a new one. Thankfully the boss of the ranch let him stay, but still tried to be a decent person. He has always thought he was a straight man, but when Seraphin showed up at the ranch, bets were off.

Seraphin is a sexy little swan shifter who also has a past. He is one of the most desired exotic dancers around and was a member of the pariah pack, although he says he is just a guest. When a strange creature shows up, the pariah pack sends the ones who could be in danger to the neighor ranch for safety. It is also where he finds his mate. A mate that is trying really hard to stay away. Huck wants him, but he has to let go of his past to go forward. That and keep them all safe, but sometimes the past comes back to haunt them.

Now this story caught my attention and kept it all the way to the end. It doesn’t flow the way it should however, but it isn’t enough to pay attention to it. It is an enjoyable read with sexy characters, unique shifters, danger, excitement, a little adventure and danger. I liked the story line and what it gives you, which is a very different type of paranormal shifter romance.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this story and the series as well.

Review: Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I have never heard of a rooster shifter and this sound quite unique to me. To top it off, he wasn’t just a rooster but something much more deadly. Sean has been cursed and was a danger to everyone around him. However if you look at him, one would not think so. He was bright red hair, wears heels, eye liner and is very out there. Once rich, now he is as broke as a church mouse. He also has one hell of a bad attitude, and it is going to get interesting. He has met his mate.

Ty is a very big shifter but is as gentle as one wouldn’t expect. He was also quiet which his mate is not. You mix someone so sweet and shy with the opposite and it is going to get explosive. To top it off, Sean has one hell of a secret he is holding on to. One that can kill, and well you will have to read it.

Now the first thing I am going to say is it felt just a bit off, but not by much. It was an entertaining tale that has a few surprises for you. It has danger, excitement, hot sex and voodoo magic going on in side of it. And that is just a bit of what you will get. I got a crack out of it and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I love the unique character this author used and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review:  Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I felt that this one started in the middle of the story and not at the beginning.  You walk into it knowing who was who and where each one belongs also.  There were no surprise gasp or suspense to it.  Also what was different was this author added in some extra roles into a wolf pack, that you would not normally find anywhere else.  Now I am not saying that it is a bad thing, but a bit off to me.

Kade is the Zeta and Randy is an omega.  The difference is Kade is a wolf and Randy is a coywolf, a mixture between coyote and wolf.  Kade is also a bit older then Randy and teaches the pack life to others, and is in fact teaching Randy the history since he missed out on so much with his last pack.  He is also his mate.

Randy is nineteen and seems to have a good head on his shoulders.  He doesn’t understand many of what has happened and has been abused before.  Then the packs deserters show up and one is looking to cause trouble.  Want to know more, read the book.

Now I wasn’t too sure about the all-female coywolves that showed up, and didn’t much care for it.  I can see how she could be of help, but really she was off to me.  Then the tau, well it really didn’t make any sense to me at all.  Why not just call him a medicine man, and let the reader get the full effect.  Added unusual words do not make a story better, just drove me nuts.  Also the pack dynamics drove me crazy as well.  The whole book felt off and a bit twisted to me.  I don’t know what was missing but I hate to admit that this story just didn’t rock my world at all.

Review: Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This story was very surprising but for some reason it was off to me, although it didn’t take away from the story at all. I came across this author when she put the first book out in this series and was fascinated with the tale she gives you. It has a serious tone to it, but there is just enough humor in it that surprises me.

Woody’s pack is unusual with different shifters gathered as family. Woody is the omega but one would not think so after watching him. He watches those around him with their mates, and wants one for himself. He just had not expected a very grouchy bear shifter.

Lyss screwed up and got mixed in with the wrong group. After their plan to murder a innocent young man, he ran and took the young man with him. Now they were on the run from both the pack and Lyss’s bear group. They made their way to a land that is ran by Woody’s pack, and was surprised to find out that Woody was his mate. Too bad he couldn’t have a mate with what he had done in the past. However Woody is not going to let it slide.

Now with this the way they acted was just a bit strange to me. Lyss was more than a grouch to Woody, and if it were me I would have told him to hit the road. Then the added two at the end who gave out punishment were just wrong altogether. Randy was a hit with me though, after finding out what had happened to him, I can’t wait to read his story.

Overall I did enjoy this story and look forward to many more from this author.

Blurb: As an epsilon, Rhys Gunner represents his werewolf pack’s law and order. He’s an ex-military man with a straightforward style and strong values to offset his beastly nature. One day his alpha tells him to search for new land to annex into their pack’s territory in order to accommodate their growing numbers.

On a nearby farm and bakery, Rhys meets a flock of sheep shifters. One of them, Heath Sheppard, turns out to be Rhys’s mate. But the black sheep of the family is not so keen on becoming a wolf’s mate—and he’s got a girlfriend, so he’s not gay.

By ancient werewolf law, a mate’s land becomes the property of the wolf pack. That would mean that the Sheppard Farm and Bakery belongs to Rhys’s pack. When the flock learns of this injustice, a feud ignites between wolves and sheep.

Ranks begin to crack as loyalties get divided. Is all really fair in love and war?

Review: Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Susan awhile back when she started writing her series and I have to tell you that I will always grab her books up.

They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivate you throughout the whole story. For me once I start reading I can’t move until I find out how they end. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.

At first I thought this was going to be one of those sweet ones, but then there was this twist near the end that fascinated me. Also in this one you get a wolf mated to a ram, how crazy is that? I sure got a kick out of it.

Rhys deals out justice for his pack and also helps those who need helping. His alpha has been acting funny lately. So when he is asked to go find land so that they expand he gladly does so. Not expecting to find his mate. His mate in bed with a human female.

Heath sure didn’t think he was gay, hell he had a girlfriend. Yet there was something about the sexy wolf that pulled at him. However now Rhys alpha wanted their land and things were just not adding up. They had to find a way around this. However he knows he would not be saying no to his sexy mate on the whole mating part.

I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Blurb: In his role as gamma, Silas Donovan is in charge of his werewolf pack’s safety and wellbeing. Therefore doing a favor involving security for an old friend of his alpha seems like a piece of cake.

The job, however, is being the bodyguard for a male supermodel, Aran Aquino. His fame stems from his extraordinary beauty and grace—and him being an out and proud Asian golden cat shifter. As the old adage goes about two people fighting like cats and dogs, Donovan learns the same is true with cats and wolves. He and Aran have starkly different views when it comes to determining potential threats.

Still, a tropical photo shoot on a private luxury island sounds like a dream come true. But Donovan soon begins to suspect that Aran is indeed in grave danger.

Dealing with the threat would be easier, though, if Aran weren’t Donovan’s mate.

Review: Each book in the Pariah Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. To me there is nothing better than a paranormal romance with two gorgeous men.

Donovan is a gamma wolf who feels better when he is alone. However he also loves his pack and will protect them. He is missing something though. When his alpha asked him to be the bodyguard to a male supermodel he was not sure what to expect. It sure wasn’t the spunky cat that turns out to be his mate.

Aran is a very rare Asian golden cat shifter. He is absolutely gorgeous and has a big heart to boot. He is also very quirky. Asian golden cats are wanted for their parts and makes it very dangerous for him if anyone found out exactly what he was. He has a stalker, not that he quite believes it. So when he finds out that his gorgeous bodyguard is not only his mate but a wolf he is surprised. Then the danger shows to be real and it is up to Donovan to keep his mate safe.

What got my attention with this was the fact that there are a lot of cat versus dog jokes. I spent most of my time laughing at these two. This book just grabs your attention from the moment you start reading and keeps it there till you have read every word. Hell my attention is caught by the cover right off the bat. This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.

I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
