Review: Noah is a paid Escort and he have a clientele with the rich gay men of NY. The agency that he works for had booked him for the evening and he had a dinner engagement with a client at an Art exhibition, but the client stood him up and Noah felt like a fish out of water mingling among the wealthiest patrons of NY. He’s thinking of finishing off his drink and then leaving. His mindset isn’t with the job like when he first started. While looking at a painting, he is approached by a very handsome gentleman.

Tanner is a billionaire and hasn’t been interested in a relationship in a long time, but while talking to Noah, he realizes that he’s different and he convinces Noah to stay a little longer and join him for a meal. After dinner, they end up at Tanner’s apartment where they have a very passionate night together and they both can’t stop thinking about each other after that night. Noah tells Tanner that he’s a Model but doesn’t say what he does for a living. Days later Tanner seeks Noah out and offers him a job, at his company for an Ad promotion as a Model. They continue the steaming relationship. Noah is enjoying himself very much with Tanner, but it doesn’t look good for Noah when Tanner finds out exactly what type of job Noah has and the lies that he told him.

I can’t remember if I’ve ever read a book from this Author before and I’m very sorry about that, because I absolutely love this story and I’ll definitely be reading their work again. If you’re interested in a short fairy tale story about meeting prince charming, then this is it.

Review:  This book was very appropriately named. It is H.O.double T. HOT!! Narrated by actor, director, writer, producer and gay activist; Charlie David.

Griffin Muir, Griff, is a divorced New York city Firefighter still living in his father’s basement. He is a 6’4, 240 pound, red-headed Irishman with the temperament of a gentle giant. A survivor of the World Trade center bombings, he buried a lot of his brother’s after that attack, and started to fall in love with one as well. His job is his life and he’d do anything for his fellow fire fighters, especially his best friend Dante.

Dante Anastagio is the typical Italian stallion! Nowhere near Griff’s height but still well-built with black hair and eyes and a large, loud Italian family. Dante is a perpetual bachelor, notorious ladies man, and straight. Faced with the very real prospect of losing his house due to a lack of funds he goes against Griff and does a shoot for a gay porn site. It’s just him and the camera, no sex, just Dante getting off for the World Wide Web. For now.

The money is good, but not good enough. Soon Dante convinces Griff to do a shoot with him because the payoff is higher, but so are the stakes. The shoot opens the door to feelings that have long been buried and hidden causing the lines of friendship to blur. Griff struggles to keep his all too real attraction for his best friend a secret, while Dante struggles with wanting more from Griff now than just friendship. But the FDNY is not exactly gay friendly. If their friends, family and fellow firefighters find out the truth, will they survive the aftermath?

This was the sexiest book I’ve listened to in a long time, and I listen to a lot of m/m books! Perhaps it was the well-written story of two brothers in arms, firefighters that have been friends forever and been to hell and back, that was expertly written by Suede. Add to that Charlie David’s rendition of the story as he narrated. David has a captivating voice that I loved since I first saw him on Dante’s Cove (A TV show on hereTV). He did a fantastic job separating the unique voices of the gentle giant Griff, the Italian stallion Dante and even nailed the bratty, New Yorker twang of Dante’s sister Loretta.

At the heart of this book was the slow burning love story of Griff and Dante. They deal with so much on a daily basis being firefighters but they’ve also had to deal with a failed marriage, a mother’s death, a friends apparent gay bashing and now their obvious feelings for each other. And when these two finally come together the sex is off the charts scorching hot! David outdid himself in that area of the narration as well. Perhaps it’s because he is a gay man and he actually knows the little sounds and innuendos that go along with the act of sex between two gay men. I thought my iPod was going to set fire the scenes between Griff and Dante were so HOT! Passionate, sexy, steamy and downright nasty!!

I highly recommend this book. I’m certain you’d get just as much out of the print or eBook version that I did out of the audio. But if you have the ability to listen, I’d suggest you do.

Review:  Andrew Grey keeps proving his readers that he’s one of the best writers out there with this story, the first of four novels in the Of Love series.

We begin with Darryl, a thirty year-old man who has spent his life fighting for his dream: to open his own restaurant. Dreams come true, and Darryl suddenly finds himself in need of a new waiter for the lunch hour, and that’s how he meets Billy. Twenty-one years-old, Billy had his life shaken to the core when his father passed away a few months before, leaving him in charge of five year-old twins, Davey and Donnie. Desperate to put food on the table, Billy wonders from store to store looking for a job until he findsCafe Belgie, Darryl’s restaurant.

Even though the attraction is immediate, the romance takes a while to appear, not only because Darryl refuses to sleep with his employees but also because he finds Billy stealing food from the restaurant to be able to feed his brothers. From the moment it is revealed the boys predicament, Darryl stops fighting his feelings and starts helping Billy anyway he can.

This book is a touching story of love in all forms: romantic, brotherly and paternal. I just wish Mr. Grey had written more about Darryl’s issues, and in more depth.

Review:  Adam lives on the streets after being kicked out of his house by an abusive, homophobic father. Rhone catches him trying to pick his pocket. Instead of turning him over to the authorities, Rhone offers him a job at his firm, Quinn Securities. The two eventually become roommates and over the course of the next ten years become best friends. Rhone has no idea his friend of so many years is gay until he walks in on a rather startling scene. What follows is an intense encounter between the two.

I enjoyed watching the relationship slowly build. Rhone and Adam cared deeply for one another. Even though the relationship was platonic, I still had the sense that they were in love. Rhone’s cluelessness wasn’t really plausible (didn’t he wonder why Adam hadn’t been on a date in the ten years he’d known him?). It takes these two a frustratingly long time to get together, but it is very satisfying once they do. The erotic scenes are very detailed and drawn out, even if they’re not realistic (neither of them had ever been with a man, yet they had mad lovemaking skills). If you’re in the mood for a hot and steamy read, Cameron Dane does not disappoint.
