Blurb: Series blurb: When scientists mess with the most primitive elements of a man’s core, the results are bound to be explosive.
Living a loveless existence is hard for any shifter, but having DNA spliced with creatures who stand out from the crowd is damn near impossible. Which is why four experimented-on souls decide to break free from the chains that hold them, climb the fences that circle them, and go in search of adventure, passion and most of all, their mates.

But nothing worth having is ever easy, and for Sharkorilla, Pugorilpreorder-patchla, Kangorilla and Elephorilla, this is definitely the case. They’ve come to the end of one very long, hard and frustrating road, but now, with the help of men who have big hearts, they must shed their fears, accept their bodies, and be true to the desires that burn within them. T

he only problem is, will they get away with it?

Sharkorilla Blurb: Mason has been tasked with the job of helping his fellow shifters escape from the compound. Two techs need his help to ensure the breakout goes smoothly. One of those techs, Brennan, has a thing for Mason—and Mason has a thing for Brennan too.

Once Mason and his three friends are out of the compound, running for their lives across the expanse of the Yorkshire Moors, Mason wonders whether they’ll manage to be free for more than the time it takes to speed farther than a few feet. Freedom—the feeling of it is addictive, and Mason wants more of it. He isn’t prepared to give it up without a fight.

With Brennan by his side, Mason knows he can accomplish anything. There is one burning question, though. Can Mason really accept who he is? Can he learn to love himself as half shark, half gorilla? If he doesn’t, he has a feeling life won’t be all roses, despite being free of the compound.

So, he’ll just have to give his new life his best shot, won’t he?

Review: When I first saw this series out I knew I wanted a chance to read it. I must admit though that I wished the story had been longer with more to it because it can get a bit confusing. However I got to tell you that this was one fascinating story.

When scientists decide to start messing around with DNA, that is the time they need to be shot. The screw around created mixed DNA, more than just shifter and human. They created a human with two shifter DNA strands. In this story you will get to see Mason. Mason is human, half gorilla and half shark which are not the best parts to have.

When Brennan and another tech find out that Mason and his friends are going to be put down they go out of their way to help them. It seems Brennan is Mason’s mate.

You can’t really go into detail like you want when writing a review because of the potential of giving the story away. It is a fun little story with some heat in it that makes it even better.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to read book two.

Kangorilla Blurb: Joey has it tough. Not only has he been spliced with a kangaroo and a gorilla, he’s also been brought to the other side of the world. Feeling exploited, desperate and wishing he had love, companionship and acceptance, he takes the risk of leaving the compound in the search of happiness. But will he find it? Or has the person he’s drawn to get other ideas?

It certainly seems that way as the temperature goes from boiling hot to downright frosty.

Check out the other three books in the series by Sarah Masters, preorder-patchLavinia Lewis and Jambrea Jo Jones.

Please note, Spliced can be enjoyed as individual stories, but reading in order enhances the pleasure as you get to see the progression of the shifter’s sexy adventures.

Review: Each one of these amazing stories is told by a different author. I would recommend reading book one first though otherwise you might get a bit lost. This story was told by Lily Harlem and I have to say that she has a gift. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

Scientists have been experimenting on humans and shifters but now they have gone too far. They managed to create humans who have two different types of shifters in them. When the lab techs realized that the shifters were to be put down, they did what they could to rescue them. It seems that the lab techs are somehow connected to the shifters.

Joey has had the hardest time. Not only is he a kangaroo and gorilla, but he is not even on the same continent that he should have been. All he wants to do is to find a home. A home with a gorgeous mate. I don’t think he was expecting twins to be his home.

This was one of the series that I was attracted to even before it came out. I was gifted with a look at the idea and knew that I had to read them. I was glad to have had the chance. It was a fun read and I would recommend it.

He knew if he had not left the compound he would have died, but he had not wanted change. That is until he meets Thorne. Thorne is a wolf shifter so he knows what it is like to be a shifter. Boy does he have his work cut out for him showing and convincing George that it will be good.

I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading book three. This was one of the series that I was attracted to even before it came out. I was gifted with a look at the idea and knew that I had to read them. I was glad to have had the chance.

Review: Each one of these amazing stories is told by a different author. This one was written by Lavinia Lewis, who just happens to be one of my favorite authors. She has a way of telling any story so that it will catch your attention from the start. My only issues with it are the fact that it is way too short for me to get more than just a taste.

Scientists have been experimenting on humans and shifters, but now they have gone too far. They managed to create humans who have two different types of shifters in them. When the lab tech’s realized that the shifters were to be put down, they did what they could to rescue them. It seems that the lab techs are somehow connected to the shifters. Dex is a pug and a gorilla. He wants to feel the outside on his face and now he is given the chance. All he has to do is to get James to connect with him.

I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading book three. This was one of the series that I was attracted to even before it came out. I was gifted with a look at the idea and knew that I had to read them. I was glad to have had the chance.
