Blurb: Smith Devonshire is heir to his father’s international shipping company. That is, he will be if he meets all the demands of the Will. As a gay man too long denied the ability to live his true life, Smith must bury his emotions and do whatever he can to take control of the company. While marrying a good friend in need of a green card was easy, fathering a child without medical intervention might just destroy our man Smith.

Lucky for him, the Narsoreal Bru de Bartina who suddenly bonds with Smith holds the key to unlocking everything Smith has ever longed for or needed. Smith just has to accept.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is a spin-off short story from THE UNWANTED series featuring Smith Devonshire, the last john Renzo had in his story, RENZO’S REDEMPTION

Review: We were first introduced to Smith in Renzo’s Redemption when Renzo went on his last call for the husband and wife that required a little… assistance to reach their goal. You see, Smith is a gay man living a lie. His father’s will had a lot of stipulations Smith had to complete in order to maintain control of his family’s company. Including getting married and producing an heir. The ONE thing that his homophobic father didn’t do when attempting to ruin his son’s life from the grave, make the stipulation in the will that Smith actually be married to a woman in order to complete his task.

On a walk to clear his head, Smith ends up in a part of town he’s not familiar with having walked a little farther while lost in thought. He runs into, literally, a Nasoreal. The Nasoreal are the alien race that has come to earth because their own planet would not allow same-sex mating, so all their LGBT people fled to earth in hopes to find their mate and share their knowledge with our government in exchange for this privilege.

Bru de Bartina knows Smith is his mate as soon as they lock eyes. The Nasoreal are a very unique and visual race, they know their mate by the connection they feel to them, and their eyes, the way they are able to see inside each other through them. Smith is taken aback, but he feels so comfortable with Bru that he opens up to him and tells him the weight he bears from his late father. The Naoreal have changed their body type before to please their mates, can Bru adjust to be the male soul mate lover that Smith desires, while also being able to bear children? Something Smith not only wants, but also must do to complete the terms of the will.

My favorite aspect to the novels aside from the dystopian sci-fi is the eyes are the window to the soul. I love that is how the Nasoreal know exactly who their mate is. As usual, this book is quirky, sexy, erotic, and very different from any other stories out there, plot, and character wise. But all the books set in this world are. If you were looking for something outside of the norm and like the stories that hit every spectrum of the LGBTQ personalities, this would be the perfect series for you. Read them in order though, or you won’t understand the Nasoreal.

Blurb:   Three years ago, a race of aliens called Narsoreal made contact and gained asylum on Earth. In exchange for technology and medical advancements, the United States government allows the Narsoreal to collect and bond with the country’s “unwanted” citizens. In one city, a Narsoreal bond-matcher has set his sights on a small band of male and female prostitutes in desperate need of salvation. Each of the five has unique needs, but it just might be that there is a Narsoreal ready and willing to meet every one of them.

Renzo’s bio-family life is…complicated. Amongst his chosen-family he’s accepted as bisexual and, just like them, he earns his money on the streets. And, though his mother will take that money, she won’t accept her son or his method of earning what keeps their house and food on their table. The local gang is also sniffing around again, wanting to control his income or maybe just own him. When he reconnects with his friends, he discovers they’ve hit the jackpot and he would definitely like to get some for himself. He just never expected his match could change in ways that would satisfy this bi boy’s every fantasy.

Review: This series is centered on an unusual group of friends that consider themselves a family. And an alien race, Nasoreal, that have taken solace on our planet. The aliens travelled light years from their planet to ours because they were gay and thus not allowed to bond on their planet. They are allowed to look for a bond mate among earths unwanted and forgotten members of society in exchange for their knowledge and medicines that can cure most human diseases.

Renzo is a bi-sexual prostitute that works the streets like his friend Shannon did to pay the bills and put food on the table. His mother and sisters are more than happy to take his money, all the while they condemn him and criticize the way he provides it. He learns about Shannon, Derek, Joel, and Ambrosia meeting the Nasoreal and finding mates. Making a life for themselves that doesn’t involve prostitution, abuse, or condemnation from anyone. When he’s invited to Alimund’s home to possibly meet his own match, he jumps at the chance. He has no idea just how willing this Alien race is to find mates, how they will conform to his every fantasy to make him happy.

I love the concept of the world in these stories. It’s so commonplace in our society to put labels on people like ‘unwanted’ and assume they don’t deserve anything. It was such fun to read each installment and see the relationships unfold then grow. My favorite part was Alimund’s key to knowing who was bonded, through the eyes. I’ve always said the eyes are the window to the soul, so I like Jameson’s twist on soul mates in this story. I also liked the transformations that a couple of the aliens took on to please their mate.

Jameson is descriptive not only with the sex (which is hot, steamy, passionate and sometimes corny, but good) but with each character and their story. This series of shorts has a story for everyone… gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender. I’m excited to get my hands on the final copy of The Unwanted, which will contain all 5 parts in one nifty installment! This is a book I will read over, and over, and over again. My favorite Unwanted is still Joel; he’s just too damn cute.

Shannon’s Solace: Every day is a struggle for survival, and Shannon often feels like everything is out of his control. He longs for someone to come into his life and offer him some peace, be the one he can lean on, and maybe someday forgive him his past and love him anyway.

Derek’s Bliss: His every breath a struggle, Derek attempts to live out the remainder of his life with some measure of dignity while also preparing his little family of misfits for a time when he won’t be there for them. Then the alien bond-matcher who swept Shannon off his feet has a proposal for Derek: Bonded Narsoreal have been known to cure their matches of just about everything. Is Derek willing to bond with an alien to save his own life?

Joel’s Protection: The baby of the family at just eighteen, Joel feels useless, adrift, and like everyone’s the boss of him. He jumps at the chance to match with his fairytale prince and live happily ever after. But though he’s matched just like Shannon and Derek, Joel is still treated like a directionless kid. An opportunity for a hot public display of affection during a party just might guarantee that no one will ever think Joel’s a kid from now on. He just has to step up and take one more chance.

Ambrosia’s Worth: Ambrosia is all woman despite being genetically male. She likes who she is, how she looks, and she’s not changing for any man. Not even for an alien who’s supposed to love her forever—if that’s even real. To save herself from being alone and sinking even farther down the poverty line, Ambrosia consents to a match…only to have him turn tail and run at the sight of her. Proven right again about love being the real fairytale here, she decides to live a great life one her own. But then he comes back, determined to make their connection work, and Ambrosia has to decide if her stubborn pride is more important than maybe—just maybe—falling in love.

Review:  Living on the fringes of society, they are ‘The Unwanted’ and this is their story.

This series is centered around an unusual group of friends that consider themselves a family.  And an alien race, Nasoreal, that have taken solace on our planet. The aliens traveled light years from their planet to ours because they were gay and thus not allowed to bond on their planet. They are allowed to look for a bond mate among earths unwanted and forgotten members of society in exchange for their knowledge and medicines that can cure most human diseases.

Shannon aka Shots, is a gay male prostitute that sells himself in order to provide for himself and his family. One of his clients turns out to be not only a Narsoreal, but the one that is in charge of matching bond mates. Alimund is immediately taken with Shannon and knowing they are a match, he begins the bonding process. Will Shannon accept the bond, or reject Alimund and the prospect of a life where he doesn’t have to turn tricks to put food on the table?

Derek, the head of this family of misfits, is dying. He has VIS one of the few diseases that the Nasoreal were not able to provide a cure for. While attempting to secure a residence for his family he was raped by the previous owner, thus contracting the disease. When Alimund meets Derek he brings him back to his home with the hopes of finding him a Nasoreal mate that can possibly prolong his life through the bond. Enter Joss. The tall, dark and handsome alien that is the angel of Derek’s dreams.

Joel is the baby of the family. Everything that Shannon and Derek have done is to protect and shelter him, to ensure he would never have to endure the pain they have on the streets. The elder men can’t move forward with their bond mates unless they are assured that the rest of their family will be given the opportunity as well. Alimund has found Joel’s match, a gentle giant. Joel quickly learns that not only does he like to watch, but he likes to be watched as well.

Ambrosia is a full on diva bitch wrapped up in a man’s body! Derek, Shannon and Joel have to all but twist her arm, but she finally concedes and comes to Alimunds home so she can meet her match. Things don’t go quite so smoothly this time around when a gay alien that has traveled a long way to be able to mate with a man thinks he’s been mated with a woman. I really don’t recommend pissing off the diva, but that is exactly what Ambrosia’s mate does. Her fight or flight instinct kicks in and she is going to make a run for it. Unless her intended pulls his head out of his ass.

I love the concept of the world in these stories. It’s so commonplace in our society to put labels on people like ‘unwanted’ and assume they don’t deserve anything. It was such fun to read each installment and see the relationships unfold then grow. My favorite part was Alimunds key to knowing who was bonded, through the eyes. I’ve always said the eyes are the window to the soul, so I like Jameson’s twist on soul mates in this story. I also liked the transformations that a couple of the aliens took on to please their mate.

I highly recommend this series of short stories. Jameson is descriptive not only with the sex (which is hot, steamy, passionate and sometimes corny, but good) but with each character and their story. How they got where they are and how they are overcoming it. My personal favorite so far is Joel’s story, but I can’t wait for the final installment, Renzo’s Redemption in July!
