Blurb: A wrong number with a sexy voice on the other end… What are the chances a regular guy has just hooked the hottest actor on the silver screen?

Ryan Pierce is in town shooting the latest romantic action movie and attending all the right publicity parties. He wasn’t expecting to pick up the phone to an easy laugh and real conversation. So, when he discovers that his caller has misdialled, it surprises him even more that he doesn’t want the man to hang up.

Dar Phillips is the last man to get star-struck, yet his best friend drags him out to be an extra on a movie set. It’s a chance to meet the guy on the set who he accidently called, but he has to admit the lead actor is hot stuff.

Could the loping mega-star be his phone-a-friend? And, when they kiss, is Dar ready for the paparazzi and accusations of betrayal by the man who now stars in Dar’s every dream?

Who did Dar fall for? The elusive Ryan Pierce, who can’t be seen with him, or the quiet, gentle man who’s just a phone call away?

Review: This is a great combination of sweet, cute and sexy. It almost makes me wish dialling a wrong number would work out so well for me! Also, it’s not your average Hollywood romance either which make this even better in my mind.

I love Dar, despite not being the Hollywood person in this coupling he is a star to me. Corny, I know, but the man has his principles and he sticks by them. There is nothing worse than a character doing a number of 180-turns that don’t feel natural to the story. In saying that, Ryan is pretty damn awesome too. He’s has to work things out in terms of career vs. personal life, but other than that this is one guy that is full of passion.

When there was some drama and tension, I found myself feeling sorry for Dar and cursing Ryan, who I had come to love at that point. I was pretty grumpy at him. However, I have to say it was great how the entire thing played out. I also to have to say, his rather over dramatic solution made me laugh.

Immensely enjoyable – who doesn’t have fantasies about Hollywood heartthrobs? It’s a well paced romance – I didn’t get bored or frustrated and liked how the “incident” happened then the characters reacted according without too much fuss.

I think the only thing that is unfortunate is that it’s a quick read. The ending was both sweet and hot. I can’t wait to read about the new set of characters in book 2 of Hollywood Hotties.
