Review: Each book in the Brac Pack Next Gen series features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is in fact a branch off of multiple series so I would start with Brac Pack first. The connected series includes, Brac Pack, Brac Village, Christian’s Coven, Zeus’s Pack, Demon Warriors and Shadow Tribe.

I actually came across Lynn Hagen when her first book, in the Brac Pack series came out. I was intrigued by not only the characters, but the world she wrote about. They are full of humor  and for me, that is a major plus in a good romance. The Alphas are very protective of their mates. And their mates give them hell at every turn.

Each story has excitement, a bit of adventure and danger added in to make them juiceier. So when this story came out I hopped to it and grabbed it. I love how it seems that everyone in the family gets a mate, including the humans. Oscar has always been one of my favorites.

When he was five years old, Oscar’s legs were badly damaged in a house fire. He had lost his parents to it, and went to live with his uncle. His uncle mated a bear shifter, and he was raised among the paranormal ever since. He had decided to move with all the others to the crazy town of Dalton Falls.

Now Oscar is adorable but he is also a menace when it comes to cars. Breaking down just happens to find himself a mate. A very stubborn mate who loves to fight with the fey in the house.

Hale is a deputy in town and a wolf shifter. He has found his mate and by gods, he will bite anyone that comes close to his little man. His problem is though trying to get his brother cleaned and protect his little mate from the dangers in the world.

Like I said, Oscar is one of my favorites. He doesn’t let anything get to him, and that includes his mate. He is as feisty as they come and is a spit fire mate.

I enjoyed reading this story and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I had so much fun in fact that I would definitely not only recommend it, but I will read it again.

Way to go Lynn Hagen for giving me an awesome read.
