Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
Events at the start of the book happen in conjunction with the first book in the series. It was nice to see how Keith and Bobby first met in order to help their best friends. What follows after should have just been a hookup but it turns into something more for both of them.
What I find funny was that the two of them fall into the same trap that their friends did. Neither one is willing to be themselves out there and admit that their relationship if more than just fuck buddies. Also Keith lets his age and other people get in the way of things.
Thankfully Keith pulls his head out of his ass. Just in time too in order to be there for Bobby when his world falls apart.
The sex was a little low-key in this book. A good portion happens “off screen” I suppose I could say. What scenes there are, are hot and sexy with just the right amount of steamy. This book really seemed to focus in on the events and fall outs.
I will say this, the start was a little stilted for me. There was a lack of emotion. The details and interactions were given, but it was just that. I didn’t really feel Keith and Bobby until later in the book.
Overall I did enjoy this story once I got past those first few chapters.
