Chance “The Chancellor” Gerhardt is a mainstay for Frontier Professional Wrestling. He’s won multiple championships and has the respect of the locker room. But after ten years at the top, Chance is looking for a new challenge. The one he gets, mentoring FPW’s young rookie, is both unexpected and unwanted.

Devin Jacobs is a hot new talent signed by Frontier Professional Wrestling. He’s always been a fan of The Chancellor, and not just because of the older man’s skill in the ring. He has it bad for the steely eyed veteran wrestler. Unfortunately for Devin, The Chancellor doesn’t believe in mixing business with pleasure, and isn’t looking to get involved with anyone. Or is he? During long nights traveling and working together, Devin catches more than one secretly admiring glance from The Chancellor…

Devin is determined to earn victories and championships in the ring. But he’d also love the opportunity to win Chance’s heart. Can the two of them navigate their way through the hyper masculinity and backstage politics of professional wrestling to the most important victory of all? Or will their shot at love be defeated 1-2-3?

Christa Tomlinson is a lifelong fan of professional wrestling. When she’s not writing, Christa can be found watching her favorite classic matches or traveling to live wrestling events.

Review: There was this saying that hate actually means love, but didn’t really think too much about it until I read this story. Here you have two grown men who are total asses to each other but it hides the passion between them. This story is a very emotional read and at first I did not think it would be. I thought it would definitely focus on the actual sport but it is not what this story is about, not completely anyway.

Finn and Dexter have been rivals since they were in college, and it has increased. Both of them are hiding one hell of a secret though. Finn is madly in love with Tristan, until Tristan is killed by a drunk driver. He is completely lost and alone throughout this, as one would expect. He has never told his family that he was gay, and that he had been in love with his teammate.

Here is a champion volley ball player who is losing his mind to grief. Finn is always snapping at everyone, but to his surprise it is the enemy that helps him the most. He has to admit that he was snappy with Dex because he was attracted to him, and that might just lead to more problems.

Dex has had a very harsh life. His mother was a prostitute who was going to sell her own son to other men on the say so of her pimp. He had left that life at fifteen, running away and afraid. He is known as straight but feared that people would realize that he was not. However that was not his only fear. He was afraid of having to go back to the streets. When the one man who angers him the most loses someone who meant something to him, he steps up. He had not known though, just how lost the man is. He fears that if someone finds out that he is gay, that he will lose it all. However he realizes that if he loses Finn, then he will have lost it all.

You can tell right from the start that there is some major sexual tension between these two. Even when Finn was with Tristan, you can just feel the heat. The pace for this story just rocked, you go from hate to love in such a way that it will leave you breathless. All though I have to admit the amount of fighting that these two did made the story slow down a bit too much for me. It was just continuous and that was not a good thing. It doesn’t take away from the story to much though.

I find out that I was quite fascinated with this story and was very glad that it did not focus too much on the sports part of it. I loved how you can feel the heat, see the tension, and the feelings you can tell are there. I am not sure what the next book will be like however I am looking forward to finding out.

This is a book I would recommend, especially if you love sexy athletes and some hot sex.

Drew Jackson seemed to have it all. He has a family who loves and supports him, a tight circle of friends, and is a rising star with the Milwaukee Mavericks. Then, it all begins to unravel. Cam, the only man he’s ever loved, falls head over heels for Drew’s teammate. He makes a critical mistake in the playoffs that he’s not sure he’ll be able to recover from. And then, his world really crashes around him…

Eric Sapp may no longer play for the Mavericks, but he’s still one of the guys. No one could have imagined how much his life would change when he agreed to help his former teammates mourn the end of their run for the pennant. After stopping a brutal attack, Eric is forced to face the feelings that’ve been growing for his roommate, Drew. That’d be much easier if Drew wasn’t hell-bent on pushing everyone away as he recovers.

Neither of them were counting on Bryce Shaw. He and Drew enjoyed the one night they spent together, but knew it was unlikely they’d be anything more since they lived in different parts of the country. After Bryce is relocated to help a failing LGBT homeless outreach, he wants to explore something more with the Mavericks’ short stop.

As much as Eric wishes he could be the one to help his friend, he knows Bryce holds the key to Drew’s recovery. Will pushing the two back together be the biggest mistake of his life or will they all learn there is strength in numbers?

Blurb: Life has been treating Victor Kalinski well, which is a surprise for the ginger-haired forward with the venomous tongue. His career is somewhat stable, at least for another season. His relationship with Cougars alternate captain Dan Arou is deepening, despite the fact that Daniel has yet to come out of the closet.

It’s typical Kalinski luck when a puck bunny he shared a drunken night with several months ago slaps him with a paternity suit. Despite the sizzling passion and painfully heartfelt connection between them, Dan doesn’t take the news well, and heads back to Canada alone.

If he wants to make things right and win back the man he loves, Vic has no choice but to swallow his pride—and nobody’s prouder than hotheaded, ego-driven Victor Kalinski.

Reader Advisory: This story has graphic sexual language and scenes—no closed bedroom doors (or other rooms) here!

Review: Wow, well this sequel just bound miles ahead of its parent story, Two Man Advantage. While I’m sure that some people may be able to get away with reading this instalment without reading the first book, I strongly recommend reading Two Man Advantage first and then going onto Game Misconduct. In the first book we see MCs Victor and Dan get together – which is not the easiest thing for pro sportsman. Although Victor makes no apologies for sleeping with men and women and Dan is deeply closeted.

Here we continue their story. They’ve been a couple for nine months and things seem to be going really well. The hockey season hasn’t quite started up yet, so things seem a bit more leisurely for the couple. Victor, foul mouthed gentleman that he is, is surprised as this is the longest relationship he’s ever had in his life. That is until his past comes back to bite, sending Dan running home to Canada.

As to the characters, I really need to explain Victor. I really did dislike him in the first book, but here in Game Misconduct he is so much more likeable (despite the circumstances of the plot) and he is so much more relatable (also despite the circumstances of the plot).

While Victor doesn’t redeem himself in every way throughout this book, his character develops really well and by the end of it I thought even though he’s still insentsitive and oblivious to the world around him, he is improving and wants to better himself to be the man that Dan wants him to be.

On the other hand, Dan hasn’t changed terribly much, though the end of the book is very much his since he not only has to deal with Victor’s issues and actions, but he is still in the closet – thus their relationship is very much secret for most of the book.

We are left with some major hints for a follow up book, not quite a cliff hanger, but I want more of these guys now that I love Victor.

If you liked the last book, this is a must read. If the first book left you with mixed feelings, like me, you definitely need to read this book. For others looking for a new series, this is a real hot and steamy sports romance with one foul-mouthed sort-of-hero and one real sweet hero.

Jason Klein’s living with the fallout from a decision he knew was the right one at the time. He never told anyone about the love of his life, which left him to mourn alone when he found out the man he gave his heart to had been killed in combat. Now, his heart has had time to heal, but he’s not sure he’s ready to let himself move on. Until he meets Cam Morgan…

Without a job lined up following graduation, Cam Morgan took his best friend up on his offer to move to Milwaukee and stay with him until he could get on his feet. The last thing he wanted to do the day after getting to town was go to a party filled with a bunch of jocks. Sure, they were “professional athletes” but Cam was convinced that bigger bank accounts didn’t make them any more accepting of people like him. He certainly didn’t expect to meet Jason, the Mavericks’ catcher who broke every stereotype he’d had.

What started out as one hot, sweaty night together quickly grows into something deeper. Jason welcomes Cam into his home and his life, but now he has to teach the younger man that it’s not a sign of weakness to let people help you.

Enforcing Emory

by

Mickie B. Ashling

Olympic figure skater Emory Lowe falls in lust the moment he lays eyes on his new neighbor, hockey player Nikolai (Nik) Vetrov.  On the surface, Nik is a typical badass enforcer, intimidating and dangerous, on and off the ice. The only son of Ukrainian immigrants, Nik has been groomed from childhood to fulfill his father’s dreams of seeing him in the Hockey Hall of Fame.  Igor guides his son toward that goal with a controlling—and abusive—hand, steering him clear of anyone who might ruin his chances.

Although Emory is the US National Figure Skating champion, he’s in-your-face gay, and his audacious persona rubs Nik and his family the wrong way.  Raised by supportive and loving parents, Emory is Nik’s polar opposite in every way but one—his desire to succeed. Underneath the fluff and glitter beats the heart of a fierce competitor, and this side of Emory’s personality begins to close the distance between the two athletes.

While the attraction was one-sided in the beginning, Nik finds himself responding to Emory’s flirting.  Before the incongruous pair have a chance at any sort of relationship, they must survive the pressures of career, separation, and most importantly, Igor’s ruthless homophobia.

ROUND 1 of the KAGE Trilogy
My name is Jamie Atwood, and I’m an addict. I never thought I’d say such a thing. Never had a problem being overly-attached to anything in my life. I came from a perfectly middle-class family, made good grades, and had a hot cheerleader girlfriend. But the truth is, nothing ever really moved me. So how did a guy like me become an addict?

I met Michael Kage.

Kage is an MMA fighter. A famous one. I like to think I helped him get that way.

He’s charming as hell, with looks to rival any movie star and talent to back it up. So why did he need to hire me as an intern Publicist? Simple. He has a darkness in him– like a black hole so deep it could swallow him, and me, and everyone we know– and that’s not good for business.

The first time I met him, I felt the pull. I think the addiction began at that very moment. And even if I’d known then what I know now, I would have fallen for him. How could I not?

For me, Kage is everything.
