Review: Alexus is a Slayer, he eliminates evil on the command of his Bishop Mathias, but he is starting to yearn for the quite life with his lover, Josiah. Josiah is the town apothecary and is always waiting for his lover, Alexus, when he returns from a journey. But, this time there is a threat to the town and they both fall under danger. Alexus has to make life and death decisions and can only hope to defeat the evil haunting the town.

This is a great little story that shows love, danger and a solution to Alexus and Josiah’s problems. Alexus has spent most of his life working for the church. he knows that his love for Josiah would be frowned upon if he wasn’t a Slayer, but he now wants out to be with his lover, vowing that it will be his last mission he and Josiah look into the preternatural goings on around town. Josiah just wants Alexus and will have him anyway he can.  He knows that if Alexus ever gets away from the church, then they will have to leave and he is perfectly happy with that. But, first they have to face the horrors in the mist.

Alexus and Josiah are really great characters and the opening scene in the book shows us how much they love and need each other. The supporting characters are good and add a little extra and the storyline is good with an added twist. This story is one that could be expanded if Pelaam ever wish to; it has such potential and not just as a Slayer story and I am hoping that there are follow-up stories with the various characters in this book. I must admit it reminded me a lot of Van Helsing with a twist and the added bonus of hot sex.

I will recommend this to those who like old world paranormal, nasty surprises, good surprises, hot sex, abiding love and a happy ending.

Review: Mitchell has let life go by, falling into a rut. It isn’t until he meets Linwood, a new Christmas elf at his store, who has Mitchell beginning to examine his life and what he truly wants. But, even when he begins to find happiness, it doesn’t go as planned when he discovers Linwood’s secret.

This is a very cute Christmas fantasy where a man realizes just where his happiness lies. Mitchell has been letting his boyfriend, John, walk all over him. He fell into a rut and it isn’t until he meets Linwood that he really looks at everything he gave up to please John.  He also begins realizing that he gets nothing in return from John. Linwood has a job to do, but it doesn’t involve falling in love with his charge. But, things come to a head when he has to protect Mitchell and they both have to face the consequences.

I really enjoyed this quite light-hearted story of re-examining one’s life and taking steps to be in control of it again. Mitchell is a man who seems to have been worn down by his boyfriend; so that he no longer does the things he enjoys or meets with the friends he likes. He supports John for the most part and John just takes advantage. When Mitchell meets Linwood it shakes him out of his insulated world and he begins to reclaim his life.

I loved the twist that came when Linwood had to defend Mitchell. The way that the story leads you on, so you know that something special will happen. you just don’t know what it will be or when. Mitchell and Linwood are beautiful together and the story of them is touching. the way that they stand up for their love and want to be together is wonderful.

I will recommend this to those who love Christmas love, finding the true meaning of happiness and a very happy ending.

Review: Nolen is sent on a mission to discover the truth of new information about the disappearance of his childhood friend, Snow (Delling). His team-mates Terrian and Qamar join him on the planet Ignis, a primitive world with only animal life. A confrontation with a predator leads to the discovery of an underground world where Snow has lived for 2 years. But, escaping the underground world is not as easy as Nolen wishes.

A wonderful science fiction take on the Snow White fairy-tale. Nolen has never quite been able to really connect with another man, and he only discovers the reason why when he discovers Snow again. Terrian has a hard time trusting anyone with his heart and Qamar won’t be pushed around in love. Snow has been looked after by the inhabitants of the underground world of Ignis and can remember nothing of his life except that a monster wants his heart. Nolen and Snow have to return to the surface, but the Guardian tries to stop them and Snow’s life hangs in the balance.

We receive a treat with this story as we have not one, but two romances to enjoy. Nolan and Snow’s romance is sweet, childhood friends who adored each other, but had little contact. Snow’s hope of getting Nolan to see him as an adult put paid by his step-mothers schemes, re-uniting and Nolan realizing what he had been hiding from himself and Snow’s inner recognition of just what Nolan means to him. Then we have Terrian and Qamar, who have a slightly more tempestuous relationship. as Terrian has flitted from relationship to relationship to protect his heart, while Qamar has patiently waited for the chance to catch him and claim him.

The background story is good. Taking the Snow White storyline and twisting it to a space setting, while adding a touch of danger in the setting of a primitive world, and giving two couples the chance to find true love. Both couples have their unique lovemaking, but both couples are very hot in the bedroom, or the pool, or floating around and even in the med bay.

I have to recommend this to those who like science fiction, futuristic fairy-tales, wonderful characters, hot varied sex, a great storyline and a very happy ending.

Review: Cassian is ordered to be used as bait to lure the Firebird out of hiding. But, Cassian is given no choice in what he does, so accepts what his king has ordered. But, when he is rescued by the Firebird from a dangerous predator he learns that Arturri is just a lost soul who just wants to return home. Arturri has been stranded on this hated world for many long years. His entire family is gone, some captured by the evil men and others perished. When he discovers Cassian, he rescues him and learns the truth. it is just the kingdom he has landed in that is evil and over the mountains is his means of escape.

This is a wonderful science fiction story of an alien who has just landed in the wrong part of the world, and ends up helping to release a kingdom from its tyrannical reign. Cassian lives in a kingdom where the king reigns with an iron fist. Nobody is free and everyone lives in fear. When he is called before the king, he is terrified and has no choice but to do as ordered and he sets off to be bait in a trap. Arturri discovers Cassian in the forest and takes care of him and the two falls in love. But, they discover that they can’t just escape and Arturri ends up captured and Cassian has to do what he can to protect his love.

Cassian for me is the greatest character, as he showed an enormous amount of bravery and devotion throughout the book. Arturri is a wonderful character and your heart goes out to him for the emotional turmoil he must have been through to have been stranded on a planet and then to lose all his family. All the while knowing what his fate might be if he is ever captured, after witnessing the savagery of the natives. Cassian and Arturri do make a great couple, even though they are separated by a cage and two vicious men.

The storyline is great, the characters are wonderful, even the ones who are self-motivated, and there is danger, rescues, escapes and chases with close shaves. Cassian is a true hero, when he discovers what is being kept hidden under the castle, and he puts his life in danger so others might escape. There are some uncomfortable moments where the king’s head of security, Phrixus, looks like he might get his way *shudder* and some instances of violence.

So, if you love science fiction, hot sexy men, escapes from evil men, rescues, danger, hot sex, and a very happy ending then this is the book for you.

Blurb: Josh assists his father in coaching the local basketball team. Through the season, he flirts with his friend Bax and hopes things will become more serious. He’s asked to befriend Amelia’s grandchild Xandy. Josh intends to let others do it–until they meet.

Josh falls in love with a quietly spoken, shy, straight guy–or so he thinks. Xander, equally enamored, hides his sexuality and desire. The more time they spend in summer’s heat, the more their attraction grows until it boils over one evening. Each man thinks he has spoiled their friendship.

His sexuality isn’t Xander’s only secret and when Bax thinks he’s uncovered it, he tells Josh. But it’s a secret more dangerous than either of them realize.

Review: Josh is asked by his neighbor to show her grandchild Xandy about town and introduce him to people his own age. But, when he meets the sexy grandson all he’d like to do is strip him down and lick him all over.  Unfortunately, Josh thinks Xandy is straight. Xandy is hot for Josh, but thinks he is straight and after a shared night together each thinks the other is ashamed. But, when Bax (Josh’s friend) thinks he has discovered Xandy’s secret, it actually brings them all closer together.

This story is a sweet romance that has a hidden twist that really adds to the story. Josh has had a crush on his best friend Bax for a while and Bax has been flirting back, but Josh doesn’t know if it will go anywhere. Xandy is visiting his grandmother to get away from his home for a while, when he meets Josh he is instantly smitten but he thinks Josh is straight so they just become friends. Josh is equally as smitten, but he also thinks Xandy is straight and it takes one slightly drunk night and his friend’s jealousy for the truth to come out.

Xandy and Josh become friends while secretly falling in love with each other. They make a great couple even before they realize the truth about each other. The mysterious man in Xandy’s past is a surprise and adds a great aspect to the story. I really enjoyed the way the story evolved, with jealousy, misunderstandings and hope. There’s some passion between Xandy and Josh which is very erotic, but the main scene between them is more gentle with restrained passion, but with lots of love between them.

The story flowed smoothly and the characters are wonderful and the storyline was great with a twist and some surprising danger. For some reason, and I have tried to work it out but haven’t been able to figure it out, I kept thinking that Xandy, Josh and their friends were teenagers (late teens) instead of in their twenties and I haven’t been able to pin point why it felt that way but it felt like they should have been teens. *Maybe it’s just me feeling old.  lol*

So, I will recommend this to those who love summer love, confusion, misunderstandings, a twist, a surprise danger, some sweet erotic loving and a happy ending.

Blurb: On the space station Niteo, Jem mourns his father’s death. Used like a servant by his stepmother, his world turns upside down when he rescues the charming Prinz. But is Prinz interested in Jem or the business opportunities Jem represents?

On the space station Niteo, Jem still mourns the loss of his father while his stepmother treats him like a servant. Jem is bedazzled by the charming Prinz and Byron–who hides a secret of his own–by Herne, Prinz’s friend and colleague.

Byron and Herne collide in a tempestuous relationship, while Prinz gently courts Jem.

But, Jem discovers Prinz is the son of a ruthless businessman who covets the family business. Has Prinz used their budding relationship for ulterior motives?

Furthermore, when Herne investigates Jem’s father’s disappearance, something shocking is uncovered.

Will Herne find the truth in time to save Jem?

Purchase Link: https://spsilverpublishing.com/product_book_info/products_id/891

Review: Jem is still mourning the death of his father when he rescues Prinz from a beating, which leads to his best friend Byron meeting Herne and Jem being convinced to go on a date with Prinz. But in the background Jem’s stepmother is conniving with his uncle and step-siblings and Jem’s inheritance is in their sights.

Ohhhh, this has a strong feel of Cinderfella in space, but with a lot more going on in the background and an extended happy ending. Jem has been left unbalanced by his father’s disappearance and although he doesn’t know it, his stepfamily has taken full advantage of it.  Jem is treated like a poor servant, keeping him off-balance, to drugging him and working him into the ground. But, Jem believes they are doing the best for him. Byron doesn’t agree but can do nothing to convince Jem otherwise. When Jem rescues Prinz, and Byron and Herne meet, it leads to finding out secrets and uncovering lies about what really happened to Jem’s father.

This is a very interesting story of good old-fashioned Prince Charming being advanced into the future and giving us two very different romances as well as hinting at a beginning for a third. Prinz and Jem’s relationship is very slow-moving and gentle, with Prinz taking his time with the skittish Jem. Whereas Byron and Herne’s is explosive and passionate from the start. Both relationships are interesting to watch, as they fumble their way towards love. Byron and Herne both jump to conclusions about the other and Byron ends up pretty hurt before Herne realizes his mistake. While neither Prinz nor Jem really know who the other is, it leads to a huge misunderstanding, but there is no one to blame really as we do get to see and understand why they are reluctant to be truthful about their identities.

This story is well written and the storyline and plot are good. the twist towards the end was a surprise and the difference in the two relationships was brilliant, one passionate, hot and explosive and the other gentle, sweet, coaxing and caring but both having loving erotic sex.

I have to recommend this if you want a Cinderfella feeling science fiction, two wonderful romances, and a touch of mystery, a surprise twist, some erotic, hot sex and a very happy ending.

But in answering the call for help, Frank also finds himself vying with the beast for the life and soul of his young lover.

Review: The Sea Vixen is a submarine and its crew is tasked to missions involving the supernatural. Frank has been dithering over asking Nathan to marry him and has now plucked up the courage to ask when they are both next on leave.  But, before that can happen, they are sent on a mission which makes him realize that the time for dithering is over.

This is a well written paranormal novella. Frank and Nathan have been together for five months. It hasn’t been perfect, what with different working shifts, but what time they do have together is perfect. Frank has been thinking of asking Nathan to marry him, but because Nathan is ten years younger, he worries that he will say no. But that is all put into perspective when the next mission they are on puts Nathan in danger from a supernatural being that is determined to have him.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it had a great storyline where a military type unit was set up to investigate paranormal actions that would do harm. Frank and Nathan are members of that unit and began a relationship that has blossomed even under the limited quality time that they have together. Frank and Nathan love each other deeply and it is lucky for them that they do, because there is something which is determined to have Nathan after it spots him and it is only their love which stops him from succumbing to the creatures allure.

All the characters including supporting characters are well written and you get to know them quite well, they add a lot to the depth of the story and they do intrigue you about what skills they possess. Nathan and Frank are quite something together, very hot and erotic, but you can clearly see that the sex isn’t just all that is between them. They both genuinely care about the other and it shines through in different ways for both of them.  For Frank it’s his worry over what could happen to Nathan and his need to protect him. for Nathan it’s his full belief in their love and his belief in Frank as a man who keeps him tethered in his time of need.

So, I will recommend this to those who love the paranormal, supernatural, strong surviving love, military men (some who aren’t too bright) and a really happy ending.

Daimon, a demon of charismatic sexuality, prefers to focus on his own carnal pleasures rather than concern himself with the wider world and the ever-present battle of light and dark. To that end, he lives in a large house with just a few remote neighboring properties.

However, even he is unable to resist a call for help that reaches deep into his psyche. After rescuing a beautiful prisoner, Daimon becomes involved in reuniting lovers kept apart by a disapproving father.

He finds himself attracted to the man who was keeping the young beauty as a prisoner. Unsure whether this is simply an over-anxious father or something darker, Daimon will need to not let his nature rule his head.

Review: Daimon feels the need to go to the rescue when he feels a wave of despair.  What he finds is a young man drugged and locked in a guarded room. When the young man is awake, Daimon gets the full story and decides to help the young man and his mate reunite. But, Daimon tries to deny to himself that the young man’s captor is his own mate.

This is a wonderful novella that will touch your heart with its sweetness, but send your pulse pounding with its erotic-ness. Daimon is a demon of desire, of carnality. But, when he comes across Leland and learns the story of separated lovers, he sets aside his licentious intentions and vows to reunite the lovers. Gene is Leland’s jailor, but his intentions are good. He has been asked by Leland’s father to keep Leland away from Randal (Leland’s mate).  He ends up drugging Leland to stop him from hurting himself, but then Leland disappears. Leland only wants his mate and is devastated at the lengths his father has gone to.

This is actually a story of two sets of lovers Daimon and Gene, and Leland and Randal; two mates meeting and two mates being reunited. Daimon is such a sweetheart in the way he was with Leland and the way he supported Leland in his need for his mate. Even putting aside his mating with Gene until Leland was back in the arms of the man he loves. Leland just wants to be back with his mate and although he is missing his mate, he is still a sweet young man. Gene is a nice guy who is just trying to do the best, but his means of doing it is all wrong.

The sex between these two couples really is hot, but it is also erotic and loving. Daimon and Gene’s coming together is passionate, while Leland and Randal’s is loving and hot. We mainly get to know Daimon and Leland, while Gene we see less of, but he’s important to Daimon, and Randal there are only a couple of scenes with him in them.

So I recommend this for those who love Demons and shifters, a sweet couple reuniting, passionate, hot, erotic sex and love and a happy ending for all.

Review: Matteo works with his grandfather, angels, demons and other humans on the side of good in the never-ending battle between the light and dark forces. Matteo is newly partnered with Vilmos and it falls to Vilmos to save Matteo. Priel and Ull also work with Matteo and while fighting a demon of dark, they finally find out how they feel about each other.

This is a well-written story that gives us a great story of good and evil, but also gives us two love stories that are both loving and erotic. Matteo was once shot by Ciaran, a powerful dark demon that has it in for everyone that works with Matteo. They have been trying to find Ciaran for a long time, but without much luck. When Matteo is partnered with Vilmos sparks fly, but Vilmos reacts badly. Ull has wanted Priel for years and he finally gives in to his need and he realizes that circumstances held Priel back, but he is now free to act on his desires.

There is quite a bit of to-ing and fro-ing between POVs, as we have Matteo’s, Vilmos’s, Ull’s and Priel’s and what is going on with each of them. Matteo’s and Vilmos’s relationship starts off rocky, but develops well and Ull’s and Priel’s finally gets started when Ull takes the initiative. We also have everyone trying to track Ciaran and to stop him from taking over the area. This is a great alternative world where humans, angels and demons mix, it has quite good world-building, but for me this story did it with the romance, love and erotic lovemaking. the descriptions between the two couples was just so well done that it made my heart ache at the obvious love that they felt for each other.

There are some great action and fight scenes. But they weren’t over the top or even too super demon or angel ;-). they were well done and added a bit of tension in just the right places. All the characters that we get to know are nice and I would love to know more about them especially Julio (grandfather).

With this one I am going to recommend it to those who love angels and demons, fantasy, danger, action, incredible lovemaking scenes, a touch of romance and a happy ending.

Review: Rad doesn’t know what to believe when he starts to see a strange man in his new antique mirror.  When he tries to find the old lady who sold it to him he draws a blank and so begins the mystery of the disappearing lady and the man in the mirror.   His only clues are the name Leander and the year 1905.

This is a truly lovely romance of a soul mate trying to reunite with the man he loves. Leander is trapped in the past doomed to die and linger waiting for his love; while Rad is doomed to reincarnate only to fail in each reincarnation to save Leander. This is a touching and heart-breaking story that ends up being heart-warming and leaves you with a slight smile on your face.

An incredibly romantic story-line with a well thought out plot that has everything tied together smoothly.  Surprisingly no detail was missed out and the ending didn’t just fall into place for them but with Shane and Nathan helping to provide everything that was needed it worked.

So if you love the paranormal, ghosts, mystery, soul mates and a brilliant story than this is the book for you, and I will put myself out there and highly recommend this one.

Blurb: Timon uncovers a world he never dreamed existed when his comfortable life is turned upside down after rescuing a young slave destined to be a rich man’s toy.

Timon promises the slave, Agapito, that he will return the young man to his home and family. However, fulfilling that promise is jeopardized when his own sister’s fiancé, the black hearted Sir Jocelyn, decides not only to reclaim the slave destined to be his, but to claim them both as his own.

Review: Timon is determined to keep his word to Agapito and get him home after buying him from a pirate to save him from Sir Jocelyn, even if it means putting himself in danger. Agapito falls in love with his rescuer and is determined to rescue Timon in return when Sir Jocelyn sets his sights on Timon as well.

This is a sweet love story that leaves you with a warm smile on your face as you read about these two young men who fall in love with each other and come out the victors in a surprising twist. Timon is a very big-hearted man who is willing to overlook his sister’s faults although you want to shake him and tell him his sister is nothing but a self-centered b***h who would sell him for a pretty bauble if she could.   Agapito is a sweet young man who keeps a secret to the last and you really do cheer them both on as they fall in love.

The sex scenes are truly making love and are as explicit as they are hot, sweet and heartfelt, the storyline is solid with no holes in it and everything is tied up nicely by the end and Sir Jocelyn is punished in a way that for him must be torture (although you do wish both Agapito and Timon weren’t so nice). It was also nice that both Captain Ghislain and Leighton were given protection as well. The characters drew you into the story and had you hoping for a happy ending not just for the two MC’s but their supporting characters as well.

So I have to recommend this to everyone as it’s a sweet romantic love story that is best read with a cup of tea and a box of chocolates and it will leave you with a warm glow, as well as a wish for a story for Captain Ghislain and Leighton.
