Blurb: Meeting your fated mate doesn’t automatically lead to mated bliss.
Sonny is settling into mated life with Leo, but as wonderful as it is, something is missing. While shifters claim their mates with a bite, witches have a whole different set of traditions. He tries to convince himself that he doesn’t need them, but as Imbolc draws closer, Sonny finds himself longing for the handfasting he dreamed of as a child.
Leo and his inner bear are quite content in their mating. Yes, Sonny does seem a little grumpier than usual and he does rant an awful lot about the commercialism of Valentine’s Day overshadowing the Witches’ holiday of Imbolc, but everyone has a bad day once in a while, right?
When Leo suddenly discovers that there is a lot more to mating a witch than claiming him with a bite, he’s shocked at the amount of work ahead of him. Will Leo make the effort to give Sonny what he needs?
Review: I want a bunny dance. Sonny and Leo are mated in the shifter way, but Sonny has always wanted a mating in the witchโs way as well. He just never mentioned it to Leo and didnโt know how. Thankfully Leoโs sister has been paying attention and well it is going to be some fun times.
These guys are the best I have came across in awhile. There is quite a bit of humor in this that makes it stand out even more. Leoโs family is a family I would be proud of. Lets say that Sonnyโs mom got what she deserved.
I had a blast reading this and canโt wait to see what the next story has going on. I can guarantee that this is going to be one of those stories read more than once.
Blurb: Finn Sterling is still adjusting to becoming the lieutenant of the blue fleet of Charybdis Station. As an orphan on Cardinal Hold, he never imagined he would have a position of authority as an adult and the trust his friends put in him makes failure impossible. When he is given the monumental task to find a large number of missing Vextonians, he’ll take all the help he can get. When Finn’s journey brings him to his mate, he discovers that finding the missing is only one part of the quest ahead of him.
Aiden Crow has spent the last year consumed with grief and his search for vengeance. When he meets Finn, he knows instantly that the man is his mate, but what could he possibly offer the beautiful, smiling Cardinal? As the search for the missing draw the two men together, Crow realizes that the greatest risk he faces is losing his heart.
Crow and Finn must work together to gather information so they can find the innocent before they are lost forever.
Review:Each book in The Blue Solace collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
When Leti and Draif snuck on board of their ship many things have changed and for the good. Now Finn is lieutenant of the blue fleet. Charybdis station took him in many years ago but his life on Cardinal Hold had not been bad. He has now realized the woman that took him in and raised him, was in fact the only mother he had known and loved. She would never let him sell his body but taught him so much more. Now he was to find all of the slaves sold off and he needed the help of a man that stole and sold things.
Crowโs father had been killed because he did not believe those who had been in charge. He had believed all should be free, but Crow had not wanted to follow him. However when his father had been killed, his mother pretty much gave up on life and he wanted revenge. He helped Charybdis Station with details and in fighting. Now he was to help them find the missing slaves. He had not expected to find his mate. A mate that was leading the expedition.
This has been one of my favorite series to read and enjoy. The banter between all of the characters is full of humor and I had a blast with it. The worlds that was created to produce this story was full of energy, excitement, danger, adventure and lets not forget some hot sexy times. Out of all the characters I truly loved Leti, Sebastian, Fire and Beck the most. However Finn has soon become one of those characters. He was a blast to read and his reaction to meeting his mate was funny as hell. Those two trying to protect each other made for an interesting time. Crow was full of anger and hate for many and it did take him time to catch up with his mating, but you could see in him that he wanted it most of all.
I had a blast reading this and canโt wait to get my hands on the next story by this author. I was sad to hear that this will be the last book of this series but knowing that there would be stories that will connect to this was a plus. I can guarantee that this is one of those series that will be read many times over. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
Blurb: Sonny and Leo are settling into their relationship, but there are just a couple of problems. Leo hasn’t claimed Sonny as his mate, and Sonny hasn’t met Leo’s family. Sonny may be a talented kitchen witch that can make perfect honey cakes, but he can’t read his bear’s mind. All he knows is that Leo isn’t acting like a shifter that has found his mate.
Every day, Leo fights with his bear about claiming Sonny. A long courtship isn’t something that shifters usually do, but Sonny is a witch, not a bear shifter. Leo doesn’t want to move too fast and scare his mate off. Then there’s his family. He knows if his family gets a whiff of their relationship, they’ll descend like the pack of bears they are. Leo is learning to be more confident in himself, but he’s afraid to take a chance and ruin the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
A family gathering to celebrate Christmas and the winter solstice may change everything. Well, it might if annoying siblings, self-doubt, and powerful eggnog doesn’t ruin it all.
Review: Sonny and Leo are mates but neither has told the other. Sonny is afraid that it might not be true since Leo didnโt introduce him to his family, however Leo is afraid his family will run his mate off. Sonny is a witch where Leo is a bear shifter, and never mention honey cakes to a bear shifter.
These two are so cute that it isnโt the honey cakes that gives one cavities. Leoโs family could jump of a bridge the way they act towards Sonny. It is a good holiday little story that will be read many times over.
I enjoyed it quite a bit and can guarantee that it is one of those stories that will be read many times over. I just wished it was longer.
Blurb: Juan Vega lives in a town full of loving families and happy couples. As he watches his best friends fall in love, he can’t help but wish for his own omega. He’s been in love with Jackson since he met him, but it doesn’t look like there will ever be a future for them. When Bennett Wilson urges Juan to make a Christmas wish, everything changes.
Jackson Potts may be young, but he has plenty of experience with overbearing, abusive alphas. After watching the way his own biological alpha grandfather and father treated their omegas, Jackson swears he will never date an alpha. He knows there are good alphas out there, but he can’t bring himself to trust his own heart to any, even his own friend. The problem is, a certain alpha is very hard to resist.
With a little holiday luck, these two men may just find happiness.
Review: Juan and Jackson are best friends, but both of them want more. Jackson had not had a good experience with alphas so he was terrified of trusting one. However in his heart he wanted Juan. Juan has always loved Jackson but was afraid of going any further, then Jackson kissed him.
This is one of those stories where you have alphas and omegas, however they donโt change into an animal. I have never been a fan of paranormals that are only that way because the omega can get pregnant. However this author is different. She makes them funny as hell and the characters are ones that you will definitely fall in love. Now if I had a way I would definitely beat the tar out of Juanโs alpha father, what an ass. I would have liked to hear more about Jacksonโs pregnancy though.
I love a good story that will have me in stitches. There is a serious tone to it but it is over powered by the funny parts. Who knew that llamaโs belonged in the house.
I had a blast reading this and canโt wait to get my hands on the next story. This is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: Dover Rees is a guppy tailed merman and the youngest child of the King of the Southern Silver Isles. Despite the lofty title, he fits in better with the other guppy tailed working class than with his royal siblings. Dover spends his days secluded in his creek, successfully avoiding the Kingโs court and all the judgmental nobles there. Then, the most wonderous and horrible thing happens. He hears the mating call and knows his alpha is waiting for him. Ben Elliot is just a human trying to get by in a small tourist beach town. He has his art and a few good friends, and that should be enough, right? Wrong. Coming home to a quiet house and an empty bed starts to wear on him, but none of the omegas he knows appeal to him. Until a storm knocks him off his fishing boat and heโs rescued by a mysterious, blue-haired omega.
Together, Dover and Ben forge a bond strong enough to stand against the storm of corrupt lords, court politics, and a cursed king.
Review: Dover is unusual in his own family. He was born with a guppy tail where as his siblings were not. They were all princes and princesses but still most of them gave him hell for being different. Then there was the curse that one of the children would kill their king but there has to be away to stop it. He was suppose to marry an aristocrat set up by his parents, but he has the mating call.
Ben is a human living in the United States among many different types of paranormal. He knows a few stories but he has never been prepared for finding a very sexy blue tail. Many things are going their way but there is a secret evil heading their way, or maybe not so secret.
I have never been a fan of mermen shifter stories but this author has created several different types to throw into her story. I liked how the main ones are separated into three groups so that you know which ones are leading and which ones are not. It however does have a downside as well. There are so many different characters that it is a bit hard to figure out who is who. Also the name of the chicken seems to change which means more editing is needed. It however is full of humor in it that I find amazing. Love a tale that has a lot of humor in them to keep me laughing.
I liked Dover quite a bit more than everyone else. He has a childlike attitude and is amazed at so many things. They live in a world that has fancy cars but you would not know it from the way he is. Also there is Benโs art, it is not worth making at first but then damn if he is not sought out to make more. His brotherโs names are so close to gather that it is sometimes difficult to remember who is who which is not a good idea in my eyes. I had trouble figuring them out.
Overall the story rocked quite a bit with me. I canโt wait to get my hands on the next story. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: Sonny is an omega witch with a huge crush on the alpha bear shifter next door. Unfortunately, every time they meet, Sonnyโs normal sassy personality disappears and he becomes a shy, babbling idiot.
Leo is captivated by the adorable kitchen witch that lives in his apartment building, but what could Leo possibly offer him? Thanks to his ex, Leo knows heโs not exactly the greatest catch. The problem is, Leoโs bear knows Sonny is his mate.
Fed up with their awkward mating dance, Sonny and Leoโs friends decide All Hallowsโ Eve is the perfect time to cause a little mischief to bring the two together.
Review: Sonny is a sweet omega witch who has a major crush on the next door neighbor. But it would seem Leo likes him just as much. Leo is a bear shifter who has found his mate. However they have been basically avoiding each other for some reason, yet it only takes a few friends meddling in to have them humping like bunnies.
It is a cute little story that I had not realized was that short. It was pretty entertaining and I actually thought it was a blast. The characters were a blast to read about and I liked their friends even more.
I can honestly say that this is one of those cute stories that will be read many times over.

Draif and Lucas may finally be figuring their relationship out, but their enemies are approaching and it’s time to protect Charybdis Station and rid the galaxy of Humans First, once and for all.
Review:Each book in the collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Draif had been a slave for most of his life but now thanks to his best friend Leti he is free. He had been fifteen when he was sold to Letiโs father, but Leti did not want him as a bed-slave. Leti had just wanted him as a friend and brother. Now he was completely free. Draif was demisexual and it took him time to fall in love. The one time he had tried it, the man had betrayed him. Now he realizes just what Lucas means to him.
Lucas knew Draif was his lifemate but also knew that he had to give the man time. Now he has seen Draif’s eyes follow him but wasnโt too sure what to expect. Their relationship is heading into the best direction. On top of that they were going to destroy the Queen and Human First group. It is going to be the fight of their lives.
This story runs right along with the fifth book in this series. It is written a bit different that I am used to but it really does work. It is action packed and the excitement is felt throughout the whole book. I love that even though it has a serious tone to it, there is so much humor mixed in. The war that we have waited on has come and damn if it doesnโt rock. I loved the characters and their quirky attitudes.
I hope that there are many more books in this series. They are stories that will be read many times over. I had a blast reading this and canโt wait to read them over.
I loved it and canโt wait for this authors next book.
Blurb: Carter Benson is a lonely, scarred mess of an alpha. Honorably discharged from the army after being injured, he is left with very little that really matters. All he has is a Trust fund he refuses to touch, burns on his face, and a brand new prosthesis. He doesn’t have his family, he isn’t near his friends, and his face makes small children cry. So, he goes to Maine, finds a tiny town, and starts a business as a plumber. It doesn’t help his loneliness, though. Until a little girl hunts him down and forces him to be her new best friend.
Elijah Wilson has lived in Hobson Hills his whole life. So what that most of the townspeople think he’s a whore because he’s a single omega and got pregnant at eighteen? So what if they think he takes advantage of his grandparents by living on their property? Elijah and his large extended family know better. They know that he hasn’t dated anyone since before Olive was born. They know he works hard in the family business and is great with investments. They know the truth, but it can be hard living in a town that doesn’t care about the truth. It can also be really lonely. Until his daughter makes a new best friend.
When the two men meet, sparks fly. Their lives change for the better, but life isn’t always easy. Narrow-minded townspeople and greedy parents can cause a lot of trouble. But there’s always hope. There’s always love.
Elijah had came home from college pregnant and alone. He had his entire family to help him but he was really good with money. He had taken over his grandparents old house when they wanted to go smaller and his daughter was growing up. However most of the town folk were not happy with him. They called him names and treated him like crap but for the most part he just took it in stride. Then his daughter introduced him to their new neighbor and he was caught.
Carterโs family was never happy with him. He studied to be a plumber and joined the military. When an accident happened he lost friends as well as his leg. He had burns on one side of his face and down his arm, but he was doing better than most. When he moved to Maine he didnโt think anything would change. However when a little girl shows up, hands him a goody basket and claims that he is her best friend, well damn things were going to be looking up. Then he meets her father and he is sold.
Life is going to be good, until Elijahโs parents showed up and shit hit the fan. It will take the whole town to help keep them safe, but in reality it will just take his alpha. This is one of those alpha and omega stories where the omega can get pregnant. It is also one of those where even though they are alpha and omegas, they are completely human. Which is not normally one of my favorite types but this author manages to make it stand out. I love the action packed, a bit of danger, excitement, cute animals that is in this story. It has so much humor mixed in that I love.
I enjoyed it quite a bit and canโt wait to get started on the next book. It will be one of those that will be read more than once.
Shorty’s Review ๐๐๐๐ 3 1/2 Hearts:
Carter is an ex soldier that was injured in battle. He keeps to himself as he’s self conscience about the scars he has. Elliott is an omega on his own with his daughter. He befriends Carter and the two hit off.
I like the way the story progressed at times but other times it felt too fast. Elliott’s family was a riot and caused many laughs. You have two men who are judged by others for being who they are and what they have been through. It shocked me how cruel some of the townspeople were in their gossip.
All in all it was heartfelt story with plenty of emotions and love. Good read.
I enjoyed reading this story and canโt wait to get my hands on the next one. I would definitely recommend it.
Blurb: Welcome back to Charybdis Station and the crew of the Blue Solace.
Beck Brackenstone is a simple Grell. He loves his family and friends and enjoys tinkering in his shop. His greatest dream is to meet his life-mate, settle down, and raise a bunch of babies. When he finally does meet his mate, he realizes how completely unprepared he really is. How do you court an assassin? How do you keep your brain from melting when your mate smiles?
Guild Master Beol is not a simple man. He runs one of the most prominent assassins guilds in the galaxy and has a troubled past. He has responsibilities and contracts to worry about and no time for a mate. When he meets Beck, that all changes. His Grell completely bewitches him and sparks something inside him that he thought died a long time ago. The problem is that Beck has secrets that even his most trusted friends don’t know, and Beol has some major trust issues.
The two men may appear to be a horrible match, but in truth, they are perfect for one another. Unfortunately the Crellic Queen and Humans First are terrorizing the galaxy and Charybdis Station is their next target. They will need to trust in one another and their friends to end the Queen’s path of destruction once and for all.
Review: Beckโs best friend always thought and said that Beck needed a soft and gentle mate for the big guy. He is a sweet young man that turns into a darling animal but he does more than that. He has hidden a big secret from all of his friends and his family. He is making robots that have feelings and thoughts of their own. Rus is his son but he was made to be a warrior, to his fatherโs surprise, he wants to be a cook. Beck wants at least eight kids but never expected it. Well he might just get a mate that can have them. His poor best friend is going to have a melt down.
Beol is not sweet and gentle, well unless he is around his sexy mate. Now if he could just get him to set down long enough to talk, well without burning the house down. Beol is the head of the most dangerous and prominent assassins guild for the galaxy. His brother and himself were raised by the old leader and lets just say their father was one cold man. Their mother was just as evil. Now he has a mate and damn if things were not looking up.
With the Human Firsts and the queen causing terror in the galaxy they are going to need all the help they can get. They have death and fire on their side, it might just work. They are in for a bigger surprise.
The worlds are turning out pretty sweet. I love what this author has created and their characters just pop out at you. Beck and Beol are just the best couple one can see and their friends rock. They seem to be protective as hell, and lets face it the guys need quite a bit humor with all the kids they keep ending up with. This story as the previous ones had, caught my attention from the start and kept till the end. In fact I read this story three times before even starting this review.
I can also guarantee that it will be read many times more. I had a blast reading this and canโt wait till the next story comes out.
Blurb: Welcome back to Charybdis Station and the crew of the Blue Solace.
Sebastian Dolarnio has a past. His parents sold him into indentured servitude when he was seventeen which led him to enforced prostitution. Fortunately, with the help of some very good friends, him and his daughter are safe and have a home – a beautiful, accepting place with more family than he ever dreamed of having. Then there’s his mate. A handsome, wonderful man calls Sebastian “mate” and Sebastian knows he doesn’t deserve him. He has to find a way to be worthy of his new home and his new mate. A strange Crellic book provides him with the answer to his problems, but it comes with complications of its own.
Alois has been dreaming of finding his life-mate since he was a kid. He knows that Sebastian is a dream come true, but how can he convince his mate of that plus fight the baggage he carries from his own past? When Sebastian begins a strange, wonderful journey, Alois knows that he has to be the loving and supportive mate that Sebastian deserves.
The two men build a life together and learn to love one another, but the galaxy is in turmoil and Charybdis Station is in the middle of it all.
Review: On a world where slavery was normal, a young man had been sold by his parents to pay a debt. He was seventeen and forced into prostitution which left him pregnant and alone. He did not even know who his babyโs father was, but he still loved the peanut. His favorite person was trying to help but died helping another. Her friends came and rescued him, which is how he met the man he will love, a mate.
Alois is a fierce fighter but becomes all mushy when he is around Sebastian. He knows the man is his mate, but also that he needs time to heal. Then something strange happens to Sebastian and lets just say the world is going to get quite interesting.
Sebastian and Alois had met in one of the previous books but now they get to have their own story being told. I love the fact that even though it does have a serious tone to it, it also has so much humor mixed in that makes it pop out to me. The way they are with each other and their friends is amazing, plus even if they are not family they will become family. Fire was just adorable and I canโt wait to see what happens next with him.
Action packed, excitement filled, and some hot sexy times are just a few things you get in this story. I canโt wait to start reading the next book. I can guarantee that it will be read many times over.
Blurb: Welcome back to the mercenary ship, The Blue Solace:
Morgan Murray is an easy, fun-loving guy. He excels at being a soldier, but never wanted more out of life. Somehow, he ends up in a position of authority on Dru’s new ship, the Blue Sparrow. Now he has to deal with what he dreads most. Responsibilities. Dru and her crew are given the task of finding Wyatt Morrick and telling him about his father’s death. Along the way, Morgan soon learns that responsibility can be painful, difficult, and frightening. It can also lead to something very special.
Dr. Wyatt Morrick is in trouble. Big trouble. He and his medical crew are stuck on a planet under attack. He may not be a soldier, but he has patients and friends to worry about. With very few supplies left, something has to give for them to survive. The whole planet’s future is at stake and he is stuck hiding in a cave.
When Morgan saves Wyatt and his friends, the two men are given a gift, each other. Their love can’t stop the Concord, though, and someone has to. Morgan has to grow and accept his responsibilities, and Wyatt has to move on from his father’s death. That death just happens to be a little more complicated then Wyatt expected.
Review: Morgan sets out to stop the Concord and save Wyatt. He was pretty sure Wyatt would become someone important to him he just hadnโt known what. They were to save him and also needed to tell him about his fathers death. Wait till Leti tells them the unexpected news about Death and Wyattโs father. When he finds out that Wyatt is his mate and that he is pregnant well lets just say protective papa comes into view.
Wyatt had slept with an ass, gotten pregnant and now him and his people are stranded on a planet. A planet that was at war, with many good people dead. There is someone that is very powerful and it is up to him to figure out how to kill him. Then a very sexy man saves them and damn if that man isnโt fine.
The Queen has brought her elements out to play and they are causing death and destruction where ever they go. The Charybdis might find that they have a few more friends then they started off with, one or two that might just surprise them.
This story covers quite a bit and spans part of book two as well. It was intriguing and I absolutely loved the characters quite a bit. The story and its previous books are unique and fresh. I wasnโt too sure about them, what with the author being new to me, but the moment I started reading it I just couldnโt put it down. There were a few issues with the story that I noticed but it doesnโt take away from the story itself. Mainly words that didnโt fit or that were not spelled right. It needed a bit more editing to make it a top story for many. For me I absolutely loved it.
I canโt wait to get my hands on the next book. I realized that the stories were back to back in their due dates but it didnโt come off as rush like many others did. I had a lot of fun reading it and would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: Welcome back to the mercenary ship, The Blue Solace:
Leti Ando and Will Hackett are certain about one thing in all the galaxy. They love one another. Now that they are mated, it’s time to meet Hack’s parents and settle into their new home. In a normal courtship, the two would spend time getting to know one another and reveling in their love. Normal isn’t what they get.
Leti struggles to understand the artifact Dr. Morrick left them, but what he’s discovering is unbelievable and completely frightening. If his theories are true, then the entire galaxy is at risk. Meanwhile, he tries to adjust to Charybdis Station, deal with his parents, and worse of all, learn to cook. Luckily he has friends, old and new, to help him.
Hack comes home to Charybdis Station, expecting a break from the hectic adventures of the past few months. What he gets are changes, more responsibilities, and a war with the Concord. He’ll deal with it, though. All he has to do is look around him to understand why it’s time to fight back.
Together, the new couple must learn to stand together, to accept and support one another. Their happiness isn’t the only thing at risk.
Review: Lexi is going to be one hell of a dad, that is if he ever has him. He has adopted, well sort of, a few more people. Him and Will are doing great and they are surrounded by people that love them. They have rescued a scientist who has a very secret artifact that might be more deadly then they first thought.
They have now moved onto battle with the Concords and it sounds like it is going to be far deadlier than they thought. Sebastian is getting closer to his due date and well if you want to know more your going to have to read this book.
Action packed and delicious men are just a bit of what you get in this story. I have got to tell you that this is the second book by this author I have read, and I can guarantee that she will be read more. The characters are just a blessing and I love Leti. He is super fun to hear about and has a heart of gold. His mate is definitely protective of him. Which is needed because Letiโs parents are starting their crap up again.
This is a book that will be read many times over. I canโt put the stories down at all. In fact I am tempted to start on the next book instead of bed time. They are fun to read and I canโt wait to read them. I would definitely recommend this series. You wonโt be able to put them down.
Blurb: Welcome to the mercenary ship, The Blue Solace:
Leti Ando needs off planet and fast. He has a best friend and a new half-sister to rescue, and he needs to be sneaky about it. Unfortunately sneaky isn’t really his thing. With the help of a friend, Leti and his menagerie, along with his two companions, stow away aboard a mystery ship. Little does he know that The Blue Solace belongs to the infamous mercenary, Captain Will Hackett, a man he’ll come to love with everything inside him.
Will has been in a bitchy ass mood for the past six months. He’s restless and grumpy, but doesn’t know why. He knows he needs something and he can’t find it, but his crew are out of patience and insist on some R &R back home at Charybdis Station.
Then Hack finds a stow away angel and everything changes. Leti is his mate and he’ll do anything to keep him safe and happy, even smile.
The galaxy’s not a safe place, though, and The Blue Solace has a job to do: pick up a renowned scientist and his mysterious artifact. Then get them safely back to Charybdis Station. Hack and Leti don’t realize their romance story is about to get hijacked by Concord mercenaries. Their love is easy, it happens just like that. Staying alive and keeping the galaxy safe? That’s a little harder.
Review: Leti is half Prime and half Wello, which means he is a breeder male. As nasty as his father is to him, he is even more evil then one would expect. He has put Letiโs half sister on the block to be sold to the highest bidder. Thank god he had a friend who would be doing the bidder for him. He was determined to get his best friend, little sister and all of his animals off this blasted planet. They were going to stow away on a ship ran by mercenaries, although I am not sure he knows that part.
Will is getting moodier and moodier as time goes by. One of his crew realizes it just might be a sign that he is going to find his mate. What he finds is his mate, another young man, a baby girl and a large amount of animals in crates on his ship. Lets just say he wonโt be getting moody after that.
Damn this was a blast to read, a real big surprise for me. Leti has a way with animals and damn if he just doesnโt seem to collect more family. There is very low angst throughout the story but does have quite a bit of action. Between the two however there is zero angst, well unless you count space walking. This is the first book by this author that I have read and lets just say she is going to become a favorite if she keeps this type of writing up. My attention was caught and damn if I donโt want to go back and read it again.
I canโt wait to get my hands on the next book. I had a blast reading it and would definitely recommend it. I can honestly say that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Author’s Note: 55,000+ words. This is a m/m love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There is lots of action, sex, mpreg, and a few potty mouths involved in the story. 18+ readers only, please. It is also the third book in a series that is best read in order. Read “The Mercenary’s Mate,” and “The General’s Mate” first!
Review: So much happens in this story as Wyatt and Morgan come to terms with different things going on their lives. There are twists and turns around every corner as you traverse through this exciting story. Many characters make an appearanceย as book progresses.
I liked that we found out what happened to Morgan. Trying to fend off attacks while getting closer is no easy feat for Morgan and Wyatt. I liked the added details into both men.
Blurb: Welcome back to the Blue Solace: (Sequel to “The Mercenary’s Mate”)

Author’s Note: 41,801 words. (Previously published as “Happens Just Like That”). This is a m/m love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There is lots of action, sex, mpreg, and a few potty mouths involved in the story. 18+ readers only, please. It is also the first of two books about this specific couple.
Review: Leti and his many pets, sister and travel companion stow away aboard a mercenary ship to get away from his father. The mercenary captain has been irritating and grumpy but not knowing why until he meets his mate Leti that is a stowaway.
Many antics take place as the many exotic animals are taken over by various crew members and everyone finds a place. I liked the way the story progressed but have to confess that I was a bit put off by how nice a mercenary captain was in this story. I was expecting him to be a bit more gruff not happy all the time.
Blurb: Greyson Bishop is a hot mess. He’s pregnant, and his alpha dumped him. His boss is stealing his work and claiming it as his own. His roommate is abusive, and his landlord just gave him a week to move out. Most importantly, he’s in love with a man that’s way out of his league. He needs to get his shit together so he can be a good father and maybe, just maybe, catch the alpha of his dreams.
Harper Wilson has his shit together, but desperately wants the omega he’s fallen in love with. Grey knows Harper is a demisexual and accepts him, lock, stock, and barrel. All he needs to do is figure out how to get his omega out of Florida and into Harper’s home in Maine.
The two men are meant for each other, but vile exes and lying bosses do their best to ruin the happily-ever-after Grey and Harper deserve.
Greyson is a pregnant omega who had lost his alpha. His alpha had decided he didnโt want Grey any longer nor did he want the baby. He works a job he loves but is about to get evicted from his home, because an asshat doesnโt like pregnant omegas with no alphaโs in sight. To top it off someone is stealing his work and his roommate was an abusive jackal. He wants to trust his best friend with his baby news, but hell he hasnโt even told his abuela. Too bad he forgot that he left his computer part on, Harper found out.
Harper has wanted Greyson with all of his heart. When he found out what was going on with Greyson and the fact that he was pregnant, well lets just say the family is going to help. First he had to figure out how to Greyson to move to Maine.
Then there is a jealous omega who is nuttier than all hell out to get Harper back. Plus someone out to kill Greyson.
Action packed, excitement overload, sexy times, and pets out of your ears is what you get in this story and so much more. My attention had been caught from the start and kept all the way to the end. Now I was actually quite surprised, because there are very few stories like this that I truly like. I am not a fan of alpha and omega stories with mpreg, where there is no actual shifting. It usually comes off bizarre to say the least. However I found that I liked this quite a bit.
It does have it little problems but they are not truly noticable. I would have liked the first part of the story defining a bit more on who they are and how they met. A little bit more back ground was needed but not so much. I still found myself enjoying the guys quite a bit. It flowed quite evenly and the pace was pretty good . I would love to get my hands on the next book.
Shorty’s Review: ๐๐๐๐ 3 1/2 Hearts
Harper and Grey seem to be pulled apart around every turn they attempt to make with each other. Grey had it the worst though. But eventually the achieve their happy ever after.
I liked the story. It was sweet and cute between Harper and Grey when they were together. I was cheering for them throughout the story.
