Review: Each book in the Cade Creek collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Wilson’s father is quite an ass, or should I say he was. He left his son a letter and video of all the evil he had done. He let Wilson go through life not knowing he had a son or that his son’s mother had died when he was young. He wanted to get to know his son but was afraid the fact that he was a state senator would bring the press in. He had not expected to meet Jayden.

Jayden was a b-rated reporter who loved to take pictures. His boss was an idiot and he knew the moment he mentioned he saw the senator, he screwed up. Especially after the one night of hot sexy times they had. Now he had to find a way to fix it all.

I fell in one with this series in the beginning, although I have to say that Happy is still my favorite. In this story these guys just seemed to work together although Jayden’s reaction was funny as hell. With such a serious topic this story has quite a bit of humor mixed in which makes it stand out even more with me. Seeing the guys from previous books were a hit, especially Happy. I love when the town stands up to the bad guy and shows their feelings right from the start.

I wished it had been longer but I can honestly say that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over. I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story.

Review: Each book in the Cade Creek collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. I would read book one in the Blaecleah Brothers first, it will start with the characters you will get to see in this story. There is one other collection that is also connected to these two that you might enjoy as well, Special Operations.

Happy knows everything about growing up around cruel family members but he has found love in his sexy deputy. He is surrounded by love and takes after his own name. So when Marc brings home a little girl who has just gone through hell, he wants to keep her. However there is someone that wants her and it will take the whole family to keep her safe.

I came across this author a few years back and have always been a big fan. She gives you a mix of emotions that makes your heart swell and you lips lift into a big smile. However she will also have you in tears and wanting to rip someone apart. This story makes what one young man go through to give forward what he has learned since he had been rescued. The story gives you love, joy, excitement, danger and so much more that will in the end give you one good story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I had a blast reading this and can guarantee that it will be read more than once. I can also guarantee that you will love the characters and their story quite a bit. Just make sure you have your tissues handy.

Blurb: All Hector Cruz wanted was a place to call his own, but buying a rundown farm came with more problems than he’d been expecting. Between the needed repairs, the problems at work, and the man hiding out in his basement, he was starting to wonder if finding a place to call home was worth the headache.

Wilson Jacks was hiding. He’d done some really horrible things and now he was paying the price for his crimes. Being alone in the world made him ache for all the things he couldn’t have. He had no friends, no home, no one to call his own, but that was a punishment in itself, one he felt he richly deserved.

When his world collides with the one man who doesn’t expect perfection, learning to accept that he might not be a monster isn’t as hard as accepting the fact that Hector is attracted to him. The fragile peace Will finds in Hector’s arms begins to shatter when the chaos he’s been avoiding comes knocking on the door.

Review: Each book in the Cade Creek collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Will screwed up and was basically paying the price. He lied about a good man, lost his job, lost his home, lost his car and ended up with community service. He felt like the world had been turning on him. He had never really had a good life and had ended up on the streets at eighteen. Now he was homeless again and hiding out in Happy’s old home. He had not expected the house to be bought nor did he expect the man to have bought it to let him stay.

Hector had just wanted a home of his own and to find the one for him. He had not expected to find a man hiding in a basement he had not known even existed, nor all the violence that was coming. It would seem his peaceful life is about to get more exciting.

I really liked the title and what it stood for. A young man tricked into doing something he wouldn’t have done and trying to start over. He feared no one would forgive him and it turned out no one blamed him. The guys were perfect for each other and I truly loved how they were with each other. You get a sweet story with tenderness added in with danger floating around.

I loved this book and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it.

Blurb: DEA Agent Dan Wilson was just looking for a place to rent. He had no idea that it would bring him the love of his life. When he rented a room in an old Victorian just blocks from work, trouble started the very first day. For one, the guy who rented the room to him wasn’t the owner. Waking up in bed with Terry wasn’t the worst morning he’d ever had, but learning he had been taken for a fool kind of was.

Terry Iverson is incensed when he learns one of his tenants rented out his bedroom to a stranger, the bedroom he’d lived in his entire life. Of course, if he was going to choose someone to share a room with, it would be the handsome DEA agent. It would be great if he was gay, but Terry was a little too afraid to ask. He was the guy’s landlord after all.

When someone starts messing with Terry’s life, going from making false accusations of sexual harassment against him to trying to kill him, worrying about dating his tenant seems minor in comparison. If he can make it out of this alive, he just might see if the sexy agent was interested in something more than being roommates.

Terry should have never accepted to work so many shifts back to back, tired he heads home only to wake up in the morning to someone in his bed. It would seem his roommate has rented his room out, to bad the house is owned by Terry. Although the man in his bed is one hell of a hot and sexy man.

Dan spent quite a bit to rent out a room but he had not expected to wake up to one fine looking man. Of course he also had not expected to find out that he had spent money to rent a room and it to be a scam by the man who rented it to him. Although things might just get interesting. Especially when someone is out to get Terry and damn if he is not going to keep the man safe.

This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. The guys are sexy and dangerous in their own way. Terry is a paramedic and Dan is a DEA agent. I am not really into the whole tying up part but this author seems to write them pretty hot and not so kinky. I enjoyed reading this book and love the characters although I did miss the cute mayor in this book. I actually found myself missing the whole gang sticking their noses into it.

I had a lot of fun reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it.

Review: Each book in the Cade Creek collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of the Blaecleah Brothers, so I would suggest starting with that series first.

Every once in awhile you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Stormy Glenn awhile back and I knew from that moment that she was going to be one of my favorite authors of all time, if not the top one. There is something about the way that she writes that not only draw you in but keeps you there. She gives you hot sex, lots of love and tenderness, mixed in with excitement, adventure and lots of dangerous situations. They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivates you throughout the whole story. For me once I start reading I can’t move until I find out how they end. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good romance, and Stormy gives one hell of a good one.

Adam and Mike had been dating for a short time when Adam was told that Mike had been killed. Mike had told him he was law enforcement but not the one he truly was. To top it off, at the time Adam was thought to be involved in the crime. When Adam lost the man he loved, he went to the one place that brought him peace, home.

Mike was a DEA agent. He had been shot on assignment, given a good bye letter from the man he loved and had a broken heart. He had lived a life of secrets, but he had not expected what was about to come. Adam was in Cade Creek, just where Mike was now. Wow, things are going to heat up real soon.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Moose was six foot nine and had a heart of gold.  Forced to cage fight by his father has left him wishing for a way out.  Then one night, his little brother helped him to escape.  When his older brother found him, it was a sweet and very sexy little man who saved him, or I should say tried to.  Cory was that sweet and sexy little man, who lived in Cade Creek.  It would be the perfect place to live, and then another surprise landed in their laps.  Well if you want to know that surprise, you’re going to have to read the book.

Aldrin has finally moved to Cade Creek. He even has a job at the local diner and loving it. He has his eye on one sexy man who comes in. However Trudy has already warned him that Jonah is not an easy person. He is in fact very grumpy and not very nice to people. However that doesn’t stop Aldrin from going after the man and making him smile.

Jonah’s grandfather founded Cade Creek and growing up he was not a happy camper. He gave his family hell and even joined the military to get away. Then tragedy struck and it was his stubborn father that had told him to come home, the first time. Then something even worse happened, he was injured while at war, and on the same week he lost his entire family to a car accident. He broke down and hid out on his mountain top. His therapist suggested going to a few places at least once a week and one of his favorites was going to have Sunday dinner at the diner. He just had not expected to find a man that might make him want to live again. Too bad someone out there wanted them dead.

Race has always had a hard time growing up. His mother had abandoned him on a park bench without even a name. The nuns had given him the name of the place he was found at. He had been taken in by the Dirty Dozen’s biker gang leader after he had been assaulted in a bar. Dorian had always taken care of him after that. Then the gang was disbanded when Dorian fell in love with a man from Cade Creek. Now he was needed again.

Vince and Ari were not only firefighters but also lovers. Ari was a bit odd, in the sense of most gay men. He didn’t want to have penetration until they found their third. Thankfully Vince understood. So when asked to pick up one of Dorian’s friends at the airport, they both realize that they have found their man. However the sight of those bruises made their desires to protect even stronger. It was going to take them all to protect the little man.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

Artie has had a rough life. He has been on his own since he was fifteen years old. His mother is a drug addict, and his stepfather is abusive. He was safer on his own. At least until his stepfather used Artie as a means to pay off a drug debt. And that is how Artie winds up bound in a trunk. This is also how he meets Dorian.

Dorian is a good guy playing a bad guy. He has been undercover for years. When he sees Artie in the trunk he knows he cannot leave him there. So Dorian takes a chance and takes Arite. But there is something about Artie and Dorian cannot get him off his mind. Even if he knows it would be the best thing for Artie.

This book moved fast. There is an instant and intense attraction between Dorian and Artie. The sex is hot and steamy. This two have a definite rollercoaster ride to their happily ever after. There is drama, betrayal, violence, and overall love.

There was also a surprise visit from some old friends. I loved seeing the guys from the Special Operations series again.
Overall a fast paced and high-octane read.

Sammy has also been betrayed. But he is more trusting. Is issue is that what Hank does leaves him feeling insecure and he gets dragged into his crazy ass family’s drama. By doing that he almost loses his freedom. Luckily he does come to his senses and gets away from them.

These two men are smoking hot together and burn up in the sex scenes. Outside of them, they are just plain sweet as hell.

Seriously, I got a sugar rush.

Really the whole concept of what happens it a bit crazy and most likely would not happen. But either way I enjoyed the wacky ride. Both of these men have been hurt before and have reason to mistrust. Still they manage to finally communicate and make it work. I love a happy ending, and this definitely was that.

I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

Jonny has been living in Cade Creek for a year now with his siblings, after finally getting away from their abusive stepfather. For that past year he has been falling in love with Russ. When Russ rejects him again, Jonny finally makes the decision to move to town and become the roommate of a friend. Russ likes things a bit rough in the bedroom. He believes that Jonny, after his years of abuse, would not be interested in that kind of life.

The writing was great and there was a good flow to the story. The sex was a little bit kinky and hot. Something I have come to expect from Stormy Glenn. So there everything was spot on and did not disappoint.

However I never really got invested in their relationship. Both Jonny and Russ fell a little flat for me. These two never communicated with each other from the start. They both made assumptions instead of talking things out. It all leads to several misunderstandings and hurt feelings. It takes an outside force trying to cause trouble that makes them finally face up to each other.

So overall I enjoyed it to a degree, but it was definitely missing something to really draw me into the story. Neither character had whatever missing quality to make me root for their happily ever after. And I honestly miss that. I think without it this a just a well written book with a lack of emotional pull in my opinion.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also, this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

Mitchell and Elliot first met two years ago at a party. For a week, they got to know each other, and develop feeling. After their one night of passion, Elliot goes back to school and then disappears from Mitchell’s life with only a note. Now Elliott is back and needs Mitchell’s help to protect his family.

Mitchell and his friend have brought the Walker family ranch from his parents. He has everything he wants, except the one person who got away. The last thing he thinks is going to happen is Elliot showing up on his doorstep with his three siblings asking for help. Elliot is running from his stepfather. The man who beat his mother to death. The man thinks he is above everyone, and his father’s mother gets him out of any trouble he gets into.

But Mitchell will not let anything take Elliot away from him this time.

Two men torn about by circumstances not their fault finally have a chance to be together. Even after two years, neither man has forgotten or gotten over the other. So when they reunite the sparks still fly between. And those sparks are pretty damn hot and sexy. But also, they are really sweet and loving together.

I enjoyed this trip to Cade Creek and the people who live there. They are always willing to take a stand and fight for those who they consider family. The two MCs adorable and easy to like. The bad guy is easy to hate and I was happy to see justice finally served.

This was a good addition to the series and I look forward to more.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.

First a warning to readers. The first part of the story can be hard to take. The publishers note listed above is not for the faint of heart. But once you make it through Happy’s younger years it becomes absolutely amazing to read.

Happy and his mother have a very hard life. Happy’s mother was a young fifteen year old girl who was taken advantage of and became pregnant with Happy. Her parents were super religious and punished both their daughter and her son. I’m talking real Hell and Brimstone kind of shit. Mother and son finally get out of the hellish situation when Happy is seventeen. His grandfather takes things too far and Happy saves both himself and his mother.

Due to a beating Happy took at a young age he is a bit slower than normal, but far from stupid. Once things are explained or shown to him he understand perfectly well. He is also the sweetest most loving man. He loves his mother with all his heart. Since their escape from their grandfather and with help from locals he has been able to take of his mother and himself. While working at a local business he is bullied by a couple of guys and the police are called in to the disturbance.

Here is where Happy meets his future.

Marc is a deputy who responds to the disturbance. He is immediately attracted to the bigger than life Happy. He quickly learns that Happy is a gentle giant and wants to get to know him better. Marc does not look down on Happy for his slowness or not understanding of everything. He is patient and understanding, and has no problem explaining things. He also knows that Happy is a package deal with his mother and has no problem with that. Marc will do anything for Happy and that is what Happy deserves in a true partner.

Marc and Happy are beautiful together and I loved them.

This book roped me in from the start and gave me all I wanted. It had loving partners, excitement, action, and hot sexy moments. This will definitely be added to my re-read collection of books.
