Miles relishes the opportunity to allow his alter ego, Millie, to spread her wings but if Miles wants the other agent’s respect he can never betray how much he enjoys being Millie now how attractive he finds Allerdale.
Pursuing a ruthless enemy who wants to throw Europe back into the horrors of the Great War, Briers and miles are helped and hindered by nosy landladies, Water Board officials, suave gentlemen representing foreign powers and their own increasing attraction to each other.
Will they catch their quarry? Will they find love? Could they hope for both?
Review: This was a cute short story with a lot of heat in it. It is part of the Bollocks Anthology. It had a bit of a twist to it. Although with most short stories, they come off rushed. That is the way this story felt to me. It didn’t take away from the story too much. I get a kick out of paranormals, but this one has a different tone to it. You get not only a werewolf but a weresheep. What are the odds of that?
Darren had got bit by one of his lovers, turning him into the werewolf. The guy was a jerk all the way around. He had decided after Gran died to find a new home. A home that had a tone of sheep for him to chase. Boy did he get the crap shocked out of him, when one of the sheep turned into a very sexy man. Gethin was a shock to his system in more ways than one.
I got a big kick out of this. I couldn’t really go into the story too much, without giving it away. I wasn’t so sure at first but it was a short read that had me laughing at points. Too bad it was too damn short to get into fully. It just started my taste going but didn’t fulfill it.

Review: This anthology has a good mix of stories covering a variety of subjects, and genres. The stories range from warm and snuggly to hot and sexy. All feature bollocks in some way, shape, or form. As with any anthology, some stories are stronger than others are, but overall a good read.

A contemporary love story, beautiful and sweet, with two great characters who make a really hot couple. This story has the added bonus of being set in my own home country of New Zealand. Loved it. Another contemporary tale. Ted is hunting for his lost lottery ticket, while simultaneously trying to avoid hearing what his straight friend, roommate, and unrequited love Jenson wants to tell him. As they retrace their steps, Ted explains the reasons for the numbers, most of which have a direct connection to Jenson. A short, sweet story. I could so sympathize with Aiden in regards the dentist, but unlike him, I don’t have a deliciously sexy guy looking after my teeth. I loved the ‘meddling’ sister who sets Aiden up with the dentist with a view to looking after both his wisdom teeth and his love life. A great little story and very sexy guys. This one really didn’t hit my buttons. But if you have a fetish for the word bollocks in all its many uses, and the anatomy itself, you may like this quirky little story. In The Blue Moonlight H Lewis-Foster – ♥♥♥♥3.5 Hearts A bottom bared to a local bobby means a night out Simon will never forget.
The couple in this contemporary tale have a rather unique first meeting. A sweet, romantic story where an unusual act of spontaneity has a wonderful outcome for our couple. Written in the Stars Lily Veldin – ♥♥♥♥4 Hearts Who needs a holiday when your destiny is Written in the Stars?
I loved this story. A great mix of toe-curling embarrassment, humor, and a great honesty is the best policy ending for the guys.

Review: After being captured by pirates, Kit is forced into a dilemma in more ways than one. Not only does he have to go against his principles and his Navy service and help the pirates, but he has to face the part of him that he hides deep inside of him. The part that the captain, Griffin wakens inside of Kit. Will he escape and try to save face with his country yet again or will he choose to stay with the men he now finds as friends and the captain that has stolen his heart?
This story is so beautifully written. It pulls you into the life of the pirates and makes you feel as if you are sailing on the stormy seas with them. The characters are so interesting, some charming, some so mysterious, some filled with mixed emotions and need. I loved the way it focused on Kit and Griffin but also told the stories of many of the other pirates as well. There are many twists, lots of action and suspense, plenty of angst and a very slow unfolding romance that leaves you swooning. What more could you ask for?
Recommendation: If you love historical fiction, pirates, angst, action, suspense and sensual love with a very intriguing twist at the end this is for you!
