Blurb: Jasper has finally taken the step to be with his mate, leaving everything and everyone he knows behind. Starting over is hard, especially when you find out your Alpha mate is controlling and dominating—something Jasper isn’t going to stand for.

Zeus tries to cope with the fact that Jasper isn’t as submissive as he wants him to be. Trying to model his relationship after what his parents had isn’t working out so well. Can he give up his control in order to save his relationship?

Toby Kramer is human, and he’s running from a man who wants to see him dead after finding out Toby unknowingly slept with the guy’s partner. He ends up in Pride Pack Valley, trying to start over when an obviously committed couple makes a play for him. Toby wants no part of that.

Can Jasper teach Zeus to let go of his control while teaching Toby to trust that they aren’t out to toy with him? Jasper has his hands full with his two men when trouble finds Toby and tries to take his little mate away from them.

Review: Each book in Lynn Hagen’s Zeus’s Pack collection features a different romantic trio. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. Lynn always gives a story that makes you wish you were right there in the room with them.

There aren’t two sexy men, but three in this series, which seems to make it even hotter. Each of Zeus’s men has gone through hell until Zeus took over. Rape, torture, beatings and so much more. After taking over the pack, his intent is to make peace with the packs near them. However, after meeting up with the Brac Pack he is in for a big surprise. His mate is one of Mavericks warriors.

Jasper has met his mate, but because of misguided loyalty, he wouldn’t leave his pack and his old lover. That is until Cody told him that he was mated to Keata. Then he knew they were being foolish and goes to his mate. Not all of it goes as he expected, for one they wouldn’t let him be the warrior he is. On one of their outings they are in for a bigger surprise, they have a third mate. A very sexy man that they can’t wait to get to know. Another problem is Toby is human.

Toby thinks that Jasper and Zeus are the sexiest men he has ever seen and sure he wouldn’t mind getting naked and having a bit of fun with them, but his fear is that they are just going to use him. It takes all that they have to convince him that they are a forever trio. Also, can Zeus give up his control just a bit to prove that he wants this mating? They each have their problems that they need to fix to make a go at this sexy mating.

I love romance books that are focused on two very sexy men, but Lynn has given a book that has three sexy men. Talk about a hot spot. They each have their problems and their misgivings but they each see it and take the necessary steps to fix it. They show their love in more ways than one and I can’t wait to get my hands on book two. This gave me the three sexy men, two wolves, one alpha, excitement, danger, hot sex, and a great story.

I would recommend reading this story. It will capture your attention from the moment you start reading and keep it all the way to the end. I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to read book two.

Review: This is book 4 in the Guardian City series, and whilst can be read as a standalone, I recommend people to read in order to understand the entire story. All the matings involve ménage relationships, which I’m sure will please many people. This actually also leads to my first comment too, Grace Lynn has created a fantastic and intricate universe within this single series. Overall, I have enjoyed this series, this book perhaps more so than the others.

A main part of my enjoyment was Jack, one of the MC’s, is the most adorable bunny shifter. His actions, just as the author intended, are just like an actual rabbit. Because of his bunny genes, he’s a little scared of his stronger mates. He is also the smart and dedicated doctor of Guardian City, so we see Demend and his mates from the first two books pop up for his help or are approached for help.

Blake was actually a minor character in the previous book. And after the situation he forced to live in, it’s nice to see that’s he’s been given some freedom to do as please and find his happily ever after. Blake stumbles upon his second mate Cast, while he’s on his way back to Guardian City with supplies. Cast is an interesting one. He at first comes across as not so much weak, but rather a damsel-in-distress, but by the end of it he’s got a tough attitude and he’s willing to do anything for his mates.

There’s a minor character, a little demon named Acotas, who is also insanely adorable. He reminds me a bit of the frightened rabbit caught in headlights, to take an analogy from Jack. I don’t know if this series will ever continue, but regardless, I love this character. The story line that he is involved with, the “peril” that is face by the three mates in the book, is quite well played out, although I don’t think the actual danger is fully conveyed to reader. Like the rest of this series, the directly to the point manner in which it is written, makes it a perfect type of book to read in an hour or a few (depending how fast you read!).

Read the series, it’s a good way to pass a relaxing day, or whatever. It’s easy to read, well written and the description of setting is great!

Review: This book has everything in it you could want romance, passion, action, danger, and sexy shifters. I loved the chemistry between Zac, Matt, and Aiden. These three worked very well together when things turned dangerous. They each brought their own strengths and skills into to play when it was needed.

Very well written story that keeps your attention all the way through to the end. I loved the car chase and the fights/take down scenes very detailed it was as if I was there witnessing what was taking place. I was very happy the Alpha, who seemed as though he wasn’t all there to begin with got his in the end along with the council member who helped him.

Fantastic read with passionate sex between Zac, Matt, and Aiden that added a hot break in between the danger. I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next one in the series. Highly recommended read.

Review: As I was scrolling through my FB feed, I noticed a book cover that immediately stole my attention. It had three guys on a football field. Guys and football automatically get my notice so I started searching for this book. It was Playing for Keeps by Lexi Ander. I already knew I was going to buy, but it turns out it is FREE. **Please note that it was free when I downloaded it but have no way in knowing if it will remain that way. It’s worth buying if it doesn’t.

There is a letter in the front of the book to the author from a reader requesting a story and this is the product of that. I am always pleased when I find these stories because the author has taken time to put into words something specifically for that reader. And, even better, the author has just released a sequel that I can’t wait to read next.

The story opens up with Brock, Trent, and AJ, already in a committed relationship. They have been together for two years, however, as far as the outside world is concerned, they are only roommates. They have too many things to consider at the present to allow their relationship to be public. Trent, a football player hoping to be drafted by the NFL. Brock is working as an intern for a sports channel, and AJ is in his junior year to be a physical therapist.

On top of these day-to-day restraints, Trent, has been taking quite a bit of verbal abuse from other players. Then there is Trent’s father, a royal jackass. He doesn’t care for Trent and hasn’t for a long time. He is only concerned with his own prestige and his future campaign to run for Mayor. He will not let Trent and his bad judgment (according to him) get in his way. He has a few demands and he expects Trent to bow down to each and every one. If he doesn’t, well…

The guys have been together long enough they can easily pick up on signals when something is wrong. Brock and AJ know that Trent is taking some abuse. When they find out just how much he has been taking they are ready to pound some heads. AJ, former marine, is ready to bring on some old-fashioned whoop-ass to anyone who looks at Trent wrong. He won’t, this time, as cooler heads have prevailed, but he never lets down his guard.

Trent is becoming distant and Brock and AJ will not let that happen. He’s been summons to attend dinner with his father so they put together an intervention to get him away from the evil man. Trent has always wanted his father’s approval. He has done everything he was told hoping that someday he would love him for the person he is and not who he sleeps with. All of these problems are piling up on Trent and he is about to cave. He’s considering leaving the two loves of his life in order to keep them safe and achieve their dreams. Not going to happen.

“Did you think we’d simply give you up? That we didn’t love you enough to hold onto you with both our hands?” Brock asked in an agonized whisper.
“Oh, God, Brock, I didn’t…”
“You thought we would value jobs more than…are you serious…? Jobs?fanart lexi ander best one

Trent finally sees the error of his judgment and realized, together, they can accomplish and achieve anything. But, they will be doing it together, not alone. You can’t help but to hurt for each one of the guys as they try to work through this setback. Brock and AJ were really hurt by Trent thinking he could just leave them and they would be okay. Trent really thought he was doing the best thing because he loved them enough to leave.
They still have things to work through, decisions for their future, and finishing school.

There is a lot of love between the three and if they hold onto that, I think they will go far and see their dreams come to fruition. Of course, fighting always leads to incredible make-up sex. AJ admits to starting fights just so they can get to the make-up part. One thing, of many, that I liked about their relationship was no jealousy or feelings of being left out. They work together extremely well in the bedroom, each knowing what the other likes, providing pleasure to each. No, trouble may be brewing outside, but inside, in their bed, they are making their own explosions.

This is my first read by Lexi Ander and I really enjoyed this story. So much so that I will be starting the follow-up next. Even though we didn’t get any history on how the three became a unit, the author does a great job showing how in love they are. The plot was executed well from the time frame involved and it was a gratifying story. The dialogue is funny but serious when the situation called for it. Lexi shows depth and meaning in her sentences allowing the reader to visualize the scene.

All in all, I thought this was a great story that I would definitely recommend to others. It was fast-paced and the angst was handled quickly, and you do get your happy ever after.

Review: Lord Hark is upset when he finds out that his uncle the Governor has hired Cax, a mercenary, to protect him from the assassination attempts on his life. He finds out that his servant Alisander, the man he secretly has wanted for a long time, has feelings for Cax and that Cax returns those feelings. But as time goes on, they all start to have feelings for each other. While trying to deal with that there is also the fact that someone is out to kill, Lord Hark by any means necessary.

The man behind the assassination attempts is a man who thinks his rightful place was taken from him so it’s vengeance and revenge he seeks in my opinion. There were two or three attempts on Hark’s life that were thwarted. Several fight scenes were intense.

This story is full of action, drama, and suspense. Hot sex between Hark, Cax, and Ali added a brief pause to the action of finding out who the traitor is. Good read.

Review: This is part of the Zeus’s Pack series and they need to be read in order. Each story is intertwined with each other, but focuses on a new romantic couple. It gives you an insight into their amazing world and lives. I always love Lynn’s books. She gives you characters that you will fall in love, cheer on in their conquest, want to fight besides them when defending their mates and well the true reason is that she gives you sexy men every time. I grew up reading m/f romance stories and it wasn’t till about two years ago when I started reading gay romance. I have got to tell you that I enjoy them more and Lynn has been one of the reasons for that. She gives you such a great story line that involves love, a bit of pain, some danger, and a lot of excitement.

Dorm is an undercover federal agent and has been stuck with the drug cartel for over two years. He has made his way up in ranks and just wanted the job over with. He had been attracted to Bobby but didn’t want to get set up. Being gay in the mob was a sure way of getting killed. However, when the perfect time to arrest everyone goes bad, he grabs Bobby and runs to the one place he knows might be safe.

Bobby was taken off the streets and put into the cartel as a foot soldier. He never wanted to be one but didn’t know how to get out. The one time he makes a move on Dorm ended with being turned down. However, he senses that, the man his boss was to meet was not who he really was has him scared, then grabbed by the one man he wanted he was frightened and pissed. Then he finds out the truth about Dorm and now he just wants to run. Then he meets Ernest and realizes he has two mates and they are both cops. Talk about a joke in the making.

Ernest knew for over two years that Dorm was his human mate, but what he had not expected was to find out that he had two. Bobby was a cute cat shifter with an amazing and tough attitude. Now he just had to find out how to make his mates see that they were meant to be. Well that and stay alive from a god from hell wanting Bobby dead. What could possibly go wrong?

You don’t get two sexy men but three in this amazing story and there is nothing better than that. You get feisty attitudes, hellhounds, lots of danger, near death experiences and some hot sex with these three gorgeous men. I loved the amount of danger that comes in this story. It made it even better for me.

I loved the way the characters just seem to mix with each other. That is actually a joke, because these three are at each other’s throats fighting their fears, well two of them are any way. Poor Ernest is just hanging on for life. Bobby comes off more real than anyone else. He thinks no one would want him because of the things he was forced to do. What he doesn’t understand is the past is exactly that the past. He is tender but full of anger and fear. He thinks that no one should want him. Bobby is perfect to his mates and they know that with their love and support that he will soon learn to trust them.

I would recommend reading this book to everyone who loves the paranormal world, dies to get their hands on shifters and vampires, love the protective side that they have for their mates, the excitement, action, and dangerous situations. This story, as most of Lynn’s books captured my attention the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything that I could possibly want in a story and I cannot wait to read the next one in this amazing series.

Review: Casey has been leaving on the streets for while since he was kicked out by his parents for being a drain on their expenses. Unable to find a job and kicked out the alley he was living in, Casey falls in the middle of the sidewalk from hunger. Two well-dressed men come up to him, offer him help, and take him home. Although leery, Casey still gets in their limo with them.

Leonard and William see Casey and want him. Even in Casey’s dirty and malnourished state, they want to have sex with him. They want to have someone to come home to at night when they are done working. I want to say they pretty much want a pampered pet. They don’t really expect Casey to do anything in their home all day except be there when they get home and let Leonard and William take care of him. Before the third chapter is over the three of them are saying I love you.

The secondary characters are just annoying. Hamilton is the butler/chauffeur, hates Casey immediately, and goes out of his way to make his new life miserable. But even when Leonard and William find out, they keep him on just telling him to stay away from Casey. The stepfather is a horn dog and keeps trying to seduce Casey. The sex scenes are not really hot but more like rushed to fill in space.

So yeah, the concept was good, but the application needed some more work. On one hand, I wanted to really like this book. But on the other, I hated it because it was so convoluted. There is no emotion to the story. I didn’t like the MCs, but I didn’t hate them either. It just left me feeling let down and hate to say it…bored. Since this looks to be a series, I do hope it improves in writing style.

5 of hearts logo red on black smallReview: Fantastic story with drama, action, suspense, danger, and love. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jayson, a human, Brent and Steve, wolf shifters who are mates and are married. I didn’t care for how jealous the fox shifter was of Jayson or the lengths he went to because he wanted Steve and Brent for himself. It just shows no matter how well you think you know someone, you really don’t know them at all.

I felt sorry for Steve and Brent’s friends Casey, Zach and Blake for believing what Tayte told them and helping him lure Jayson away. I was glad though that with Jayson’s help they all were forgiven except for Tayte.

Awesome story. Sexy and passionate sex scenes between Jayson, Brent, and Steve added spice to an intense book.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Sebastian returns to Napa when he finds out that his mate Storm goes into heat as soon as he meets his mate, not after he has been claimed like Storm told him. Things are going moving along for a little bit when one night they are visited by their third mate Noah. Well sort of visited. As a Fae Noah has the ability to astral project. He does this into Sebastian and Simon’s bedroom. Since Noah has never really learned the English language it is hard for communicate, but he does his best. This leads Simon and Sebastian to start the hunt to find Noah.

But more is going on then they first realize. Noah is a prisoner of several sadists men who abuse him in the worst ways. They also use his him for experiments. The door starts to crack open as to what is going on within the bigger picture of the overall story arch. With the help of Noah and other prisoners, more secrets and clues are learned. The area where Noah was kept has done something to those that are “sensitive.” They are not acting like themselves and seeing things that are not real. This includes Sebastian, whose gift can see into people’s innermost thoughts. Because of this, the mating between him and Simon is almost destroyed.

This book starts with a bang. And they keep coming. The sex scenes were hot and descriptive. However, there were times I wanted to smack both Simon and Sebastian upside their heads. They both made mistakes that at the time seemed like overreactions. Noah I just wanted to huge. He so needed two strong men to help him and protect him. He is just adorable and has been so hurt for years. The three men together are so perfect for each other once two of them pull their heads out of their asses.

The character developments and interpersonal relationships are great. I love how the different pack, pride, and clan members are starting to pull together to face the threats that are coming. I cannot wait to see what the author has next in this series.

Two of the gargoyles were his mates, his loves, and he was determined that Francois and David not give up hope that they could be men once again.

Living the cursed life of a gargoyle for centuries, Francois and David had never held any hope of the spell being broken and becoming men again. They live and die each and every day. Though they accept the fact that they have a mate, they refuse to complete the mating with the handsome human. Elliot deserves more than they can give him.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.
It has been a year since Elliot had learned about the paranormal world, and about his mates. Brothers Francois and David along with their other siblings were cursed a long time ago to be gargoyles. They never expected to have a fated mate. They have held out for the past year from claiming Elliot because they didn’t think it was fair to Elliot. Elliot on the other hand doesn’t care what his mates are. He sees behind the scary forms they wear and still loves and wants them.

The three men have fallen in love even before actually mating. They have had a year of nights together learning about each other. Elliot looks forward to every night to spend time with Francois and David. Elliot does all he can to make his mates feel special and loved. He does things for them like getting their favored foods. He even has the alpha of the clan help build his mates and their brothers specially build homes for them to live in.

I loved this book. It had a real fairy tale feel to it, albeit with a twist or two or three. The relationship that has developed between the three men is in the start just sweet and a bit sad. Once things get rolling, they are steaming up the pages. I think David was my favorite out of the threesome. He was hilarious with his bottomless pit stomach and his love of kitten and puppy videos. Francois had a more serious and steadying influence, While Elliot was somewhere in between the two. But he let nothing stop him from getting his mates and proved he would stand his ground and fight for them.

This was a great addition to the series and I am looking forward to more releases.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Marrok is a powerful wizard who has come to the clan to help protect them from magical attacks. Also there is his mate Marcus a thousands year old griffin. They never completed their mating because of issues Marcus has. On a trip to town, Marrol meets his second mate, Thorn a jaguar shifter.

Thorn is in town helping to raise the children of his deceased sister. It is up to Thorn to bridge the divide between Marrok and Marcus so that all three can complete their mating. However, there are several issues they all have to deal with from the outside. Someone is using magic to attack the clan and Thorn has hunters to catch before they kill more shifters.

Marcus has built a wall around himself to keep others out and protect himself. Not even for his mate Marrok would he bring it down. It’s not until Thorn comes into the picture that he is forced to step up or watch as his mates find happiness without him.

When the three of them finally get their acts together, they start burning up the pages. The sex is very descriptive and doesn’t leave anything to the imagination. There is a reason Marcus is the way he is, and it’s a bit sad. It takes both Marrok and Thorn to help him overcome his resistance. Not to say there are not points when I wanted to smack him upside his head.

Marrok, Marcus, and Thorn are my favorite threesome so far in this series. I loved their relationship. All three men are very strong on their own, but together they make each other stronger. I also the secondary characters. Some are just so interesting and funny you can’t help loving them and wanting to learn more about them. At the rate the clan is growing I am hopeful there will be many more in this series.

A well-written and fast-paced book that draws you in and leaves you wanting more. I personally cannot wait for the next release in the series.

Review: This book is part of a series and should be read in order.

Ian is an Alpha warhorse shifter and Malcolm is a vampire. They have known each other for over a thousand years. Fifty years ago, they shared a mate and three children who were murdered. Since then Ian and Malcolm have been separated, but still come together every year at least to run the medieval fair. During this year’s fair, they scented their new mate. It turns out to be Danny, a twenty-one-year old rare gibbon shifter.

At the start, things do not go easily. Danny is very scared at first to be mated to an Alpha and a vampire. He has only heard rumors before. The hardest one for Danny to accept is an Alpha can make him pregnant.

Ian and Malcolm take their mating slowly for Danny and answer all his questions to help him get over his fears. Once Danny accepts what will happen he jumps in with both feet. After that, the sex happens often. The sex scenes are very descriptive and leave nothing to the imagination. At first, it seems as if Ian and Malcolm are pushing for the mate bonds so hard because they know what they have been missing for the past fifty years and want it back. But, they do fall in love with Danny, too. Once Danny has acclimated to the mating, he is treated and acts as an equal partner and gives as good as he gets.

I like this book a lot. The best parts are the interactions with both the mates and others in the clan. The writing style is on point and gives information without being too dry or drawn out. There is often humorous exchanges with all the characters. Fred the troll that befriends Danny is hilarious. There are also other secondary characters that peaked my interest that I hope to see having their own books. The author gives a unique approach to the paranormal world (and male pregnancy). This clan is build up of paranormal. Mythical and magical beings. They are all treated and accepted equally.

Overall, a great start to a series that I look forward to reading more of.

Blurb: Billy has always been a loner, and a wild one at that. After being bitten by a ferocious wolf, his need for solitude becomes even greater. He can’t get a handle on the wild forces now running through him. He makes the best of it by carving out a territory in the Canadian wilderness, but he’s far from happy with his lot in this strange, new life.

Luc knows Billy is just the guy he’s looking for. His small pack is made up of men who are special even among Weres. Their ability to control the elements — air, earth, fire, and water — makes them uniquely qualified to act as guardians. But presently there are only three, and they need Billy to complete them or else Luc will lose much more than his position as alpha.

It’ll take a lot of fast-talking and hot sex to convince Billy that his rightful place is in their pack, but first the Wild Ones will have to catch him…

Review: This was an amazing story and I sure do hope that there is more to it. I want to hear more about these four sexy men. Sex between two men is hot. Three is erotic but four men sets the sheets on fire. I have not read many stories where there are four men that are in a relationship although this story has a little more background to it. Even though it was not long enough for my liking, it was amazing how Kira could make a short story have so much detail and passion in it.

Billy had been bitten by a werewolf and changed. He thought he was a monster and that he was the only one there was which is strange since he had to be bitten to become one. He hunted what he could and only those that could fight back. He didn’t want to lose his humanity at the same time. He did not want to be the way he is, but he knew he could never go back to his previous life.

Luc is the Alpha of the spirit wolves and knew that Billy was the perfect one for him and his pack. They needed a fourth spirit wolf to make themselves complete however if Billy choose wrong it would be the death of them both. Now all he had to do is to convince Billy that this was what he needed and what he wanted.

I am telling you that when they catch him and make him watch them going at it I thought my whole place was going to go up in flames. It was amazing and very hot and I want more of it.

I would recommend reading this story especially if you love not one, not two, not even three but four sexy men, werewolves, hot and passionate sex, excitement, danger, suspense and just a touch of danger. It gave me that and so much more.

Review: This was an amazing story. Each book in Of Dragons And Wolves Series focuses on a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, we recommend reading the series in sequential order. It keeps me from getting a bit lost in the stories and gives me an insight in to their world. A world that captured my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

I love the way each character just mixes with the others. How fast they are to defend what is theirs and what they believe. Now what is better than two sexy shifters getting it on, well three sexy shifters that’s what. I love this trio and was glad to read more about them. They first appear in the very beginning and they have their own story in one of the previous books. You can tell that they had difficulties in the other book. Kendrick and Roman were in love, Clatcher and Roman were in love however it had left Clatcher and Kendrick trying to catch up with their feelings.

Clatcher was feeling like the odd ball out. He knew in the beginning that he loved Roman, but that Roman was in love with Kendrick. He had figured to leave it be. When Kendrick was killed he helped his best friend get revenge. They had went from friendship to lovers while searching for Kendrick’s killer. Then Kendrick came back as a fox shifter.

It tore Clatcher up to lose the man he loved, but he knew that Kendrick and Roman belonged together. Then to his surprise Kendrick had cornered him, asked his feelings, then suggested them becoming a threesome. They were mates after all. Now he was left with the feeling that he was not really wanted.

Kendrick could see what Clatcher was up to. He would not seek him out if Roman was not with him, would spend time with him unless they were altogether. He at first thought it was because Clatcher didn’t really want him, but then he knew it was because Clatcher did not know where he stood when it came to being with Kendrick. Clatcher thought Roman would be mad, now it was left up to his two mates to show him he was indeed desired.

The dangers coming for Kendrick was still out there and they were coming for him. I loved this book and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. I love the way the dragons, wolves, the little fox shifter just seem to mingle together.

I would recommend reading this book especially if you love sexy men, hot shifters, ménages, passion and fire, smoking hot sex, excitement, angst and dangerous situations. It comes with all that and so much more. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.
