Review: This is book three in the Xander series. This one can standalone since it mainly follows Kay and Johnny, after Kay goes off to college.

This book has more sex in it than the other two. But, it is hot and sexy and adds to the story very well. There isn’t as much angst as the first book or the second, but it does deal with deep emotions.

Kay is in his second year at the institute and he and Johnny have been together for three years. They have a very deep loving relationship, but Johnny is Kay’s first love and Kay can’t help but feel that there is more out there. Also, Johnny keeps Kay as a bottom and keeps control of their relationship and that bugs Kay. Since, Kay actually likes girls also and would like to top some. He feels that Johnny doesn’t have enough trust in him.

I really, really like Kay. He is a very unique individual.  I even liked Johnny and all the new characters introduced. The one thing like so much about these stories is that the other characters all play an important role, fit in so well, and make you want to know them more. I would love to see every single one of their stories.   There was also a little mystery slipped in that added intrigue and excitement.  There is quite a bit of partying and drugs and drinking involved but it didn’t really bother me much since it is reality.

This book is different from the first. One, Two, Three Shatter covered the main character from youth to adult, whereas this one focuses on a shorter time frame.

If you like a good story of new adults finding themselves, don’t mind drugs and alcohol, like a loving romance, lots of emotion, some unique characters and some pretty hot, sensual mansex; this is for you. I can’t wait for the next one.

In it is the truth about a rebellion waged seventy years ago. Review: An impossibly gripping story The Breeders is placed forward in the future of human kind. The year is 4085 and the Earth leaves in peace. There are only two continents, the East and the West, and the relationship between human’s are what one would call ideal. It’s a Utopia in all forms… until a woman dies. In this perfect place someone doesn’t want the past revisited.

It is an incredible story and it managed to shake me a lot. You already know from the beginning that the story you are about to read is that of a couple who lived and died in the biggest rebellion of human kind that saw aliens invaders out of Earth. You already know this couple is long dead, yet the feelings of hope never manage to fully let you go.

As a dying old man is trying to pass along secrets and information his long dead father gave him, death seems to be right at the corner and catching up fast. Reaching the husband of the murdered researcher, Sasha opens the hologram disk and together they see the story of the Alien invasion and the turn of LGBT youth into prisoners where they were brainwashed, tortured, made to hate themselves, and finally used for breeding the under-fertilized and dying race of the Tantonians, just as if they were animals. The two men witness the horrors that these aliens force upon mere children that are treated like they have a disease instead of a natural sexual orientation. Brutally beaten, verbally and physically abused, what the LGBT community suffered was pure genocide. However, as the horrors are unveiled and the past starts catching up with the future a deeper horror shows up, one that has not been exterminated by the rebellion, rather managed to survive and gain in power.

The past is not over, the prison might have been demolished and no longer exist as a literal figure, but the LGBT genocide never really stopped and now the present has become as deadly as the past once was, perhaps even more so…

Honestly, I just loved this story. While the descriptions used here are not awfully explicit, the text manages to give you the visual and images needed to actually see this story in your mind as if you were right there with the characters watching that damn hologram. It is agony! That’s what it is. The pace is fast and between the flashes back into history and the return to present it makes your head spin (the nice way) and it makes your heart beat like a hammer. It is also quite painful. Not only the torturing, not only the brainwashing and self-hate mere children suffer, but the love story between the two MC’s is also heartbreaking. I couldn’t stop reading from the moment I picked it up, even as I stood for at least twenty minutes in trepidation when Jude first appeared. Yes, it took me twenty minutes to make my mind and find the guts to dive in, but once I did, there was no stopping.

As I said, the intimate scenes are not explicit as this story is a record on a disk and the narrators, Jude and Dante, do not go into full details about how they made love. But that is perhaps the very secret ingredient into making the love between the two of them even more powerful for the reader. They are both constantly surrounded by enemies both alien and earthlings. Their chances of survival are slim and they risk not only their own life, but also the life of every LGBT person on earth if Dante’s mission fails. The tension of the situation gives great intensity to every emotion and you feel overloaded by the end of the book.

I must admit that the end itself while greatly emotional as well, felt a bit rushed for me and left me with questions. If a sequel is scheduled for this book then it makes a bit sense to leave it at that, but if not then the end fell short of my expectations.

Overall, though this was a great, great read, one I would suggest to every fan of the genre.

Review: Elias has always been one to hide his emotions from the ones he’s been with. But, he cannot hide the desire he feels for Josh. Josh has been hiding his emotions on the occasion but in the meantime, he’s been hiding a major crush on someone he’s been super close to.

I really enjoyed this book.  The characters were great.  Josh and Elias make a great couple. Elias has had a rough year, but Josh is there for him.  If you like, a good friends-to-lover read…The Oasis would be a great pick.

Blurb: valet at the Earl of Wayshaw’s Somerset home, Henry Simpkins is pleasantly surprised when the Earl’s younger brother, Rafe, makes an unusual request. But a series of simple sexual favours leads to emotional drama for Henry.

At the turn of the twentieth century, Henry Simpkins is a valet at Taverslow, the Earl of Wayshaw’s Somerset home. When the Earl’s younger brother, Rafe, arrives from his villa in Italy, Henry is given the task of caring for his mischievous dogs, Pepe and Paolo. As part of his valet’s duties, he also goes to Rafe’s room each night to tidy away his clothes.

One night, Rafe tentatively asks Henry to go beyond his valet’s duty to relieve Rafe’s sexual tensions. Henry enjoys their increasingly intimate encounters, but he’s soon disturbed to find he feels more for Rafe than mere physical attraction. Henry faces a difficult decision, as he knows he cannot remain in the same house as Rafe if his affections are not returned.

Review: Henry was simply a valet that ended up doing such and taking care of two dogs. But things get rather interesting when Rafe comes into his life.

He finds himself able to love someone. To feel worthy of someone and all too happy to see how things work out.

The story is well structured and well written. It is a great adventure for those that like history, London, and romance between those that are fortunate and less fortunate. I find it is a great book to read.

Though a short story, it gives the illusion of being as good as a novel.

Review: I loved, loved, and loved this book.  I am a huge fan of Edward Kendrick and love the way he combines mystery with a sweet romance.  I have to say this on top of my favourite list of his now.

Where do I begin? Let’s start with a little rundown. Will is living on the streets with a young runaway that is 18 and had quit school. He has taken him under his wing, and is teaching him basic schooling to eventually get him off the streets.  Will has precognitions at random. He tries to help people when he has a premonition, but mostly people think he is crazy and ignore him and this eats him up having this gift that becomes a curse most times.  One day Mick is watching a young man he thinks is cute wishing he had a chance for dating, Will see the young man and has a premonition that he will be attacked. They try to find him to no avail and read of the attack in the paper. Here the story gets interesting and twists just keep coming!

Oh boy does this story have some twists. The mystery is simple but intriguing, as the story unfolds we find out more of who Will is. The romances that develop as the story unfolds are also so sweet and I felt very romantic. Only Edward can take a mystery/suspense and make it so romantic without becoming too sugary.  The sex is all off the page but I love the way it eludes to such happy sensual loving.

If you like a good mystery/suspense’s, precognitive gifts, cops, coming of age, slow-moving romance, and an all-over good story this is for you! Oh! For those of you that just like M/M romance, don’t let the M/F in the genre throw you off. The M/F is very secondary and off the page. No girly bits.

Review: Bradley came home for the month of December while his apartment is being fixed. He works long hours then sleeps so he has no time for a relationship even though he runs an online dating service. This is his busy season with the holidays so he is throwing himself in his work. His Mom and sister want him to slow down and enjoy life and has a very special Christmas gift lined up for him.

This is one of those cute stories that make you feel good.  We all need a family that gives such hot, sexy Christmas gifts.

I loved both Donald and Travis.  Donald is an overachiever that uses his job as an excuse to avoid real life. I really related to him. Travis is outgoing and goes for what he wants with no holds barred. They complement each other well. I liked that the characters are unique, Donald being colour-blind and I liked that the story is also bi-racial.  I would have liked more of Donald’s disability worked into the story. I loved Donald’s mom. She added a cute touch of humour and Donald’s sister added a touch of realism.

I did find it a bit odd that Travis ends up in Donald’s bedroom while Donald is sleeping, without them really having been out, but sometimes we just need a good book full of hot sex and this is one of them. The dream scenes; especially the one at the beginning are smoking hot. WOW!!!

If you like a short holiday story that is hot and fun to read this is for you!

Review: If you’re looking for a feel good, low-angst, sugary sweet Holiday story, this is it!

In fact, Paris is so sweet and perfect he’s left me feeling inadequate! I think this story should be in the fantasy category, because I personally don’t know anyone who keeps house, cooks, entertains, does accounting, and childcare quite as perfect as Paris does. (Well, and keeps a smile and plenty of energy while doing it!)

A cute Christmas story about a sweet subby orphan finding his Christmas wish!

Review:  Two days shy of Christmas Ed sets out on a road trip that could prove to be just another wild goose chase. You see he and his fiancé were in a car accident almost a year ago, en route to their wedding. Myles was injured and disfigured in the crash and disappeared soon after, leaving Ed heartbroken and determined to find him. Ed has followed one lead after another in a desperate attempt to find Myles, perhaps this lead that is sending him to the Adirondack Mountains in a snow storm will finally bring the almost newlyweds back together.

This was a cute and endearing Holiday read. I loved the moral of the story, that Ed loved Myles regardless of what kind of wrapping the package was in. Very fitting for the season! If you’re looking for something fun with a soul mate aspect and just a touch of heavy petting, this just might be the novella for you.

Ramsay Worthington faces a life-changing decision, one without precedent. One choice means he can be with his lover, Stoly, forever–as in immortality. Not the vampire stuff, it’s not supernatural–it’s extraterrestrial. When Ramsay looks back over their life together, at what they share and mean to each other, maybe making the decision won’t be as hard as he originally thought.

Stoly Chevnka reaches maturity and needs to undergo a ritual, by December 25, 2013 that will make him immortal or allow him to live a human life span. He’s made his choice–as far as he’s concerned, whichever way his lover Ramsay goes is where Stoly will go. Either way, it’s going to be the best Christmas ever–the two belong together, no matter what.

Review: This is a very interesting, unique and sweet story.  I loved that it’s about aliens but not using big words and is set in the present world.  I think it’s a good place to start to slowly break into the Sci-fi world if you’re not into the out there names and worlds. I found it a sweet romance that was fun to read.

Ramsay and Stoly have been together for several years and have a very good relationship, and then Stoly tells Ramsay he is an alien and has to go through a rite to choose eternity or live as a mortal. Stoly knows his choice is whatever Ramsay wants and hopes it includes him.

This story skips around a bit as it starts out in the present then regresses a couple of months back to when Stoly dropped the news. The switch was pretty smooth, though I found a few things where the viewpoint jumps from one character to the other had a few repetitions.  I also would have loved more background on both of these guys. I’d love a full book instead of just a short story.

However, I loved the emotions that both men were enduring and the loving sweetness of the story. I couldn’t put it down once I started.

I highly recommend this if you like a loving, committed relationship, difficult decisions, aliens and sensual sweet man-sex.

Review: This was a very enjoyable Christmas story. I truly loved the story. It was told with a cute little twist. It was both humorous, with a bit of seriousness added in.

Jess and Damon would do anything for their family. Even going as far to show their daughter that Santa is indeed real. Damon is so adorable and loving that you would fall in love with him right from the start. Jess is a bit of a character, kind of a joker it would seem. The sex between them is, of course, behind locked doors and full of love and tenderness.

I sat down and read this story, wishing that I had a family like this; one that has so much love and such a caring atmosphere that you can’t help but want to read this every Christmas.

Review: I love these old classics done over. I always loved the little match girl and it made me cry.  Now The Match boy is on my favourite list.

This story at the beginning follows the original with the match boy on the corner cold, hungry and alone. The first few paragraphs had me tearing up and my sisters laughing at me. The writing was emotional, heartfelt and poignant. When the man in the carriage showed up and the story took on the new take I was elated. The story still kept its roots, sounded old-fashioned and charming yet the clockwork horse and automaton gave it a steampunk feel without going overboard and losing the origin of the story. I also loved the MM twist on the old tale, tough it is very heartfelt and sensual.

I adored both Oren and Vern. All the supporting characters were also charming and I loved the twists and turns that take place. I loved the sensuality of the sex when it finally took place. I didn’t want to put this down once I started to see where the story went. I will say I was very very happy at the ending.

If you like old classic tales with a new twist, a little steampunk, fairy-tale endings, loving sensuous mansex and a wonderful holiday story this is definitely one for you!

Review: Okay, so I started reading the story thinking it was going to go one way, and then it took me onto a silently different path.  The blurb suggests that the story is simply about one man pining after another and the reader assumes that through some predictable plot twists, the men will end up together.  Well that’s true, but it’s only part of the story.

Jake is the quintessential broken man.  The book opens with the reader catching a glimpse of Jake’s inner pain, and knowing that it will play a pivotal role in the romance to come.  What the rest of the story reveals is the cause of Jake’s inner turmoil and how Dusty is the man who will come along and help Jake to save himself. But these men will have to work at their HEA. Jake will need to make some tough admissions to the man he’s loved for years and Dusty will need to learn to forgive when Jake makes bad decisions. The story will take the men from being snowbound in Canada to being in tropical balmy Nevada. They will need to employ the use of best friends and siblings in order for them to navigate their way back to each other.

There is lots of steam in the book to make anyone’s hair curl pleasurably.  The sex in this story, however,  serves as both good and evil; and, for Jake to come into his own and heal himself, his sex with Dusty must not only be hot and steamy, it must also be healing and restorative.

In a nutshell, this is the story of how Jake will find his peace from his inner demons and allow himself to trust and be happy with the man whom he’s loved for years and who will love him back if given the opportunity.

Blurb: Vampire Tyler and his dhampir lover, Jakob, have spent the last eighty years trying to stop the murderous metamorph, Patrick, and his shifter companion, Canis. Now it seems as if they might succeed, if they don’t become the pair’s next victims.

In 1928, Chicago vampire Tyler and his dhampir lover, Jakob, are in the right spot to witness a man and his dog fleeing a particularly vicious murder. Soon they determine that the killers are Patrick, a metamorph, and his canine-to-canine shifter companion, Canis.

The years pass. Tyler and Jakob follow the pair as they continue their murderous rampage. They’re always close behind, but never quite in time to catch them, and they’re unwilling to enlist the aid of the authorities since that could well reveal the existence of supernaturals.

With the assistance of Tyler’s vampire friends, they come close to capturing Patrick and Canis in 1943 Cleveland, and in New Orleans in 1998. Finally, in present day Denver, they find them again. This time they pray they will finally be able to stop the pair’s killing spree once and for all.

Review:  Tyler is a day-walking vampire a rare breed, Jakob is a dhampir. Patrick is a metamorph and Canis is an animal shifter.  Patrick and Canis are evil and Tyler and Jakob are the good-guys trying to catch Patrick and Canis but it’s not easy since Patrick can turn into any human and Canis can change his canine forms to any canine.

This story goes back in time to when Tyler and Jakob met and how and what they are and how they got involved hunting Patrick and Canis.  At the beginning, it bounced around a little but after the story got good and set up it seemed to smooth out nicely. The characters are extremely intriguing and very different from most supernatural beings. The plot is interesting and nail-biting. I loved the twist at the end also.

If you like mystery and suspense, intriguing and different supernatural beings, a different take on vampires and shifters and loving relationships, this is for you!

Blurb: Sam and Marco deal with one crisis after another in this sexy, sinful chapter in the best-selling Orgasmic Texas Dawn series. Crime and love collide, with both men wondering if destiny is fixed. Can a happy relationship be theirs?

Sam Channing has enrolled at FLETC for the rigorous seventeen-week training program for US Marshals. Though Marco visits him when he can, their snatched moments together are precious few. Sam begins to realize how much Marco means to him, especially when he learns that his lover is working on a crazy case with wacko, drugged out Canadian movie star, Ezra Winters.

Things turn violent when Ezra’s female co-star is taken hostage but Marco has plenty of backup. Sam gets to see his new Marshal family in action first-hand. In spite of everything, at heart, it’s all about love and the extraordinary lengths the men and women of law enforcement will go to in order to defend and protect it.

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Sam has left the biker life behind him as he completes the FLETC training to become a US Marshal, but shaking off his past isn’t as easy as he hoped. Marco wishes Sam would open up with his concerns but has more important things to worry about when a new case lands with crazy movie stars. As Sam graduates tragedy strikes and the US marshal’s pull together to get justice for their colleagues.

Once again, we are given an exciting installment of the US Marshal’s from Orgasmic Texas Dawn as they keep the peace and chase down the worst of society. We open up with Sam undergoing his training for the US Marshal’s and seeing him juggle his way through as a fellow trainee tries to make waves and a trainer has it out for him. With Marco, we see him taking up cases that are troublesome with idiot movie stars, and missing Sam desperately. We watch as both men make the best of the current situation and hot snatched moments as they quench their driving need for each other.

As you well know, (you have been following the series, right!) Sam and Marco have had a bumpy ride but it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Both men have to juggle being apart and missing each other while Sam is training, but Sam isn’t one for sharing his problems and as trouble is being caused for him he finds a solution that just might work. Marco might be able to pry some details out of Sam and admire the way Sam handles things but it doesn’t mean he is really happy that Sam won’t lean on him.

I really enjoy At Heart as we see both Sam and Marco really come into their own as a super-hot couple, they strike sparks off each other whenever they are together… or on the phone to each other. They find a great balance and begin to move forward on equal footing and they both make it clear how much the other means to them. We have excitement from all angles in this story; with a shocking scene at the graduation party, mental drugged up movie stars, and jealousy and resentment playing their parts. We see all our favorite Marshal’s *sigh* and it looks like there’s a surprise in store for one of our fine Marshal’s.

I recommend this to those who love US Marshal’s hunting for justice, sexy bad boy bikers turning over a new leaf, passionate horny men and snatched moments, a great storyline and a wonderful ending.

Blurb: In a ruined world, where the darkness spreads, monsters roam, and all hope seems lost, can dreams still come true?

An apocalyptic event hits the world. Jet pilot Adrian Melser is forced to emergency land; his jetliner crashes in a place beyond recognition—a collision of different realities—where poisonous gases obscure the sun and monsters haunt the night. Adrian still has to take care of his surviving passengers.

Paul Mendoza sees the plane landing from the prison he’s about to escape from. Under the order of Ghost, a serial killer eager to create his evil empire, he assaults the airplane and enslaves the captain.

Despite violence and oppression, Adrian understands Mendoza is special. The criminal is the man he has always wanted at his side. But a sad past has hardened Mendoza’s heart, and Ghost can’t tolerate losing the most charismatic of his followers.

Harsh reality is not for dreamers. All seem lost. But Adrian wants to preserve hope and fight for the man he loves.

At any price.

Review: This book is part of a series and can be read in any order. Adrian has just received the worst news of his life but he forges on only to discover that what had happened before was just a blip compared to what he now faces. Forced to make an emergency landing Adrian lands in what only can be hell, the world is no longer the same but Adrian’s responsibilities to his passengers means he has to make a sacrifice… of himself. Paul Mendoza is a convict who finds himself following an evil child serial killer when the prison they are held in crumbles around them, but taking the pilot as his slave has him rethinking his position. Despite the life Mendoza has led, Adrian is convinced that there is some good in the man, but getting him away from Ghost, the leader of the criminals, proves to be much more dangerous than either of them thought.

So for those of you who read The Event this book runs parallel and ends just before the two groups meet up. We see the full circumstances that we only heard a bit about and meet the people who survived the plane crash landing and the vile criminals who haunt their area. Adrian is the man who we follow from the beginning, he receives bad news and sees his hopes and dreams being shattered, but finding himself in an emergency, he proves to himself that he can be the man who is needed in an emergency. Being taken prisoner has him still believing in his dreams and for what he will face, he has to cling to his dreams to survive. Mendoza believes firmly that he doesn’t deserve redemption but fighting Adrian’s dreams and trying to shatter them doesn’t work and Mendoza is soon beginning to believe himself.

We discover the horrors that still exist from the human world, the vileness that managed to survive and is determined to rule the world with darkness, trying to gather the dark ones who also revel in pain and destruction. Adrian and Mendoza aren’t the only characters that we want to meet, we discover Black Rose and Serpent who aren’t as bad as they seem and Ian a doctor who was on his way to meet other survivors. And then we have some characters who we want to wash ourselves clean after we meet them like Ghost who is vile and a mysterious young man (who we also met in The Event) who seems to thrive on lost hope.

This is one of those stories that you can’t easily peg, because the criminal element changes the basic survival needs. It also adds a darker element to the sexual aspects of the story, as there are some scenes of reluctant sexual contact. The scenes between Adrian and Mendoza are darkly hot and they really work together, with Adrian making Mendoza face the future and not the past. There are some scenes of violence and at times even knowing the final outcome (if you read The Event that is) you wonder if they will get away alive. The setting that we are given lets us know of the bleakness that surrounds the characters and it lets us know the fear they are going through, the story is perfectly written and I can’t wait to see whose story is next.

I recommend this to those who love surviving the Apocalypse, finding love in dangerous situations, working towards redemption and an ending that is happy for now with hope for the future.

Blurb: Ethan Stone grew up in the foster care system, moving from house to house, never having a home of his own. When he meets his mate, Corey Jones, he’s overjoyed at the prospect of finally getting the one thing he wants more than anything.

Corey’s had his heart broken in the past and vowed never to go down that road again, sticking to one-night stands only. It’s a lonely way to live but it’s better than the soul crushing devastation he’s felt previously. When he meets Ethan Corey does the only thing he can in order to protect his heart, he runs.

Ethan won’t give up his chance at love and a home that easily though, and will a costly mistake cause the entire pack to be put in danger?

Review: This story is part of a series and is best read in order. Ethan has been in the Atherton pack for only a short time. He has hopes of finding his dream in the future but is happy for the time being and then his dream walks through the door. Corey has had his heart broken in the past and does not intend to fall in love again. But, fighting the mating pull is harder than he thought especially when his mate is pulling out all the stops to woo him. Ethan knows that they can be blissfully happy together but first he has to convince Corey to give him a chance, even when it seems that fate is putting obstacles in their path.

So we meet two head strong shifters who are both determined to have their own way, it makes for an interesting story with some heart searching but with little angst. Ethan has been alone for many years and has only ever wanted his own family, he looks forward to the day he will meet his mate and is so happy when he finds him in his new pack. Corey doesn’t want to find love again, his last attempt left him heartbroken, and he knows he wouldn’t survive another failed relationship, so when he meets his mate he does everything in his power to ignore the man even as his wolf strains his control. When the two men come to an agreement it is with hope on one side and doubt on the other.

I did enjoy this story and loved the dance between Corey and Ethan as they both try to get their own way. The story really is mainly about their relationship dance and the gaining of trust. But, it also has Tommy and Ben as they come to the end of their pregnancy. While I liked both Corey and Ethan, I found Ethan to be too confident and aggressive in his pursuit of Corey, yes, they were mates and Corey was trying to deny their bond but Ethan overrode what Corey wanted and, to me, became creepy in his pursuit. Corey is heart sore and doesn’t trust that he won’t be hurt again so you can understand him being wary even with his fated mate, there should a been a gentle courtship (yes Ethan did know why Corey was wary) to suit the situation.

There’s lots of sexual tension and some humorous situations, we also see some diva action from Tommy and Ben losing it, the threat that comes to the pack doesn’t seem to be that bad in the grand scheme of things, but carelessness could bring deep trouble.

I recommend this if you enjoy shifters finding their true mates and having to work for it, learning to be patient and accepting what you can get, accepting love and opening your heart, and giving the man, you come to love a chance.

Review: Hunter is a warrior and a great swordsman but he has dreams that foretell tragedy. When a Quest Gathering is called to find the ‘one’ who will save the kingdom, Hunter is eager to participate when he discovers the Seer is at the castle, maybe his disturbing dreams are connected to the horror the seer has foreseen. But the Seer disappears and Hunter sets off on his own quest to find the Seer but his friend/adversary Tome is determined to be the best and handcuffs himself to Hunter. Tome has more reasons to shackle himself to Hunter and is determined to finally shatter Hunter’s shell, so helping Hunter to save the world seems like a good idea but Tome and Hunter face a horror that just might be the death of them both.

This great little fantasy adventure is a smooth read and easy to enjoy. Hunter and Tome have known each other for years but have never quite been friends, Tome is determined to change that, but Hunter can’t quite forget the past that colors his feelings. As the two set out on the adventure together Tome finally cracks Hunter’s carefully crafted shell and Hunter finally accepts the feelings that Tome invokes in him. Together they face an adversary that they never expected and their relationship is changed forever.

I really enjoyed this story for its interesting storyline and for its simplistic setting, the world is written simply without too much information or too many characters to bog the story down. Both Hunter and Tome are interesting men, when the story starts out they both seem to be friendly adversary’s but it soon becomes apparent that there is a lot more to their relationship, a lot of which is based in the past. The story is all from Hunter’s perspective but we get a great feel for Tome, we see how Hunter works through his feelings and the worry he has over the role he has set himself. Tome is much simpler to watch, he wants Hunter to be his and is aggressive in his pursuit, which is fun to watch, both characters can be a bit arrogant at times, but they fit the storyline perfectly.

The storyline is great and you pick up what is happening easily, you get a good idea of who the baddie is and we see things connect together well, so it leaves you in no doubt that the plotting within the story has been going on for some time. The development of Hunter’s and Tome’s relationship is kinda sweet and heats up pretty well, there is also a slight D/s element that sneaks in from nowhere and surprises as both characters seem quite dominant but it adds a little spice. The adventure is pretty tame but the actual foes that are being fought are sneaky and eerie and the conclusion of the story is exciting.

I recommend this to those that love fantasy adventure, great characters, a slightly twisty storyline and a blossoming love.

Review: Derek is in an accident at age 16 and loses his memory and his parents were killed. He is saved by a mysterious man in the woods and nursed to health, then suddenly this man is killed and Derek heads to find a town and see if he can find who he is. He finds himself swept into a mystery involving Michael that leads to him meeting another man who gives him a job.

I really liked this story. There is a lot going on and lots of intrigue. There is a bit of a romance that starts out hot and fast then takes an unexpected turn. I really liked that. I also like that this story was longer. It pulled me in and I wanted to keep reading to see what would happen next. I also liked that Derek didn’t get his memory back all of a sudden that would have been predictable.  I liked that the story wasn’t very predictable, yet still intriguing.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the mystery’s, and there was a few since he worked undercover in a Company, were so easily and quickly solved and once solved they disappeared and didn’t entwine into the story. I also would have liked  to have known a bit more of what this Company he worked for was and how they was able to take in a 16-year-old boy with no identification in and work him. Having said that, this is a fiction story and it didn’t really hurt the story at all.

I love this author and the way he spins a great romantic mystery/suspense. I appreciate the stories now being longer and more complete. I find the endings always so satisfying.

If you like a story with mystery/ suspense, undercover secret agencies, mobs, hot, sexy romance that isn’t love at first site more friends or partners to lovers with a very satisfying ending this is for you.

Review: A mature examination of relationships. We all enjoy the heat of a relationship, those moments where all we care about is the day-to-day passion, our next fun event, our next road trip together…but how many times do we really sit down and examine what we need, what we expect, and what our future is going to look like?

This sweet short story makes Noah stop in his tracks and panic about his future. Flying on the high of his relationship with Greg, new decisions about Noah’s family trust and his inheritance of his grandmother’s house make him question everything. Suddenly faced with the fact that his future with Greg does not add up to the future he envisioned for himself growing up, Noah is scared. Thankfully, his flight from Greg back home to his parents and most importantly to his Grandmother, makes Noah see things clearly, and the choices he needs to make.

Don’t worry readers, we know what the right choice is, and you need to trust Noah to know what it is too! A sweet, sometimes painful short story!

Review: What a strange world this one was. Werewolves exist and are hunted down. Not only that – that makes some sense – but also men are totally against nature. As if knowing nature, surviving in the wild is something, no one ought to do. Admittedly, I would love to read a longer story set in this world, there were questions that this idea drew out of me and now I’m enticed.

That said, in this story we have a rich Mr. Hudson who had lost his wife from “nature” and is now on a vengeance trip, throwing a campaign against werewolves and trying to enforce humans a silver solution for their waters. Yes, silver shall be the doom of those dreadful creatures.

Ralph is thankful his employer, Mr. Hudson, doesn’t know he has one such creature on his very own grounds. While Ralph only want to care for the perfectly manicured outdoors of Hudson mansion, he is constantly thrown into various scenes that won’t let him be in peace. There is Conan, the forester and college sweetheart, from outside the fence, there is Russell, the young Mr. Hudson, who is a tempting creature on his own, and there is of course his employer who is throwing said temptation on his hands for a bit of “nature training”. There is a big outdoors trip coming up after all.

But visiting Nature is not as simply as it once might have been if it ever was. Nowadays, especially on Halloween, drunk and armed people roam on their witch-hunt and they shot at everything that moves. Innocents die a fast death and one ought not to be out there on a full moon.

Creepy much? Well not so much, I would have been happier if this read could make me shake with dread since there was no lovemaking (how disappointing was that), but it was nearly there. The playful flirtation going between young Russell and Ralph was fun to read. You kept expecting for that something to happen, I did certainly expect the werewolf to throw the kid down and molest him a tiny bit. The chemistry was there though, the anticipation too. The feeling of that something about to happen never left you alone as Mr. Hudson was a threat to be considered. So when everything went down that anticipation was not for nothing as the end was a bit of a surprise. Or at least it surprised me, for some reason I didn’t saw it coming.

So if you’re searching for a Halloween story this might be one for you to read, I sure liked it.
