Blurb: “You’re pregnant, Graham.”

Wow. Life has tossed Graham a lot of curveballs, but he never expected to hear those words. Then, just as Graham and his fated mate, Hyden, are getting used to that amazing news, someone from Graham’s past returns and kidnaps him, threatening the very future they want to build. Turns out Graham is an Oletti, a bloodline of wolf shifters that seems to be part of an ancient prophecy, one that speaks of a hidden magical spring of water that can restore the earth and all that is in it. A power some would kill to possess. Except, in the wrong hands, it can also turn humans and shifters totally away from what, and who, they truly love, tearing families and even fated mates apart.

Unfortunately, Hyden has been forced to drink this water so no one is coming to rescue Graham. It’s now up to him to not only save himself, his unborn child and his fated mate, but very possibly the world as they know it. But superhero capes are hard to come by and he never liked himself much in tights. Still, with the help of his Oletti powers, this should be something he can do, right? Oh, Great Wolf, let this be something I can do…

Review: An excellent addition to the series that delves further into the Oletti’s background as well as Graham being in danger from those that want him for a specific purpose. I loved this suspenseful yet danger packed story. With Alpha Hyden trying to clean up Tenway to Graham being kidnapped.

This story has it all. I was in awe with the Oletti’s background as well as the interesting characters throughout the story both good and bad. My heart broke for what had been done to the Oletti’s out of greed.

This was the best book in the series as it answered many questions that remained from the first two books.

Amazing read.

Hurri Cosmo has a new MM paranormal/sci fi romance, book one of "Demon Rising Book One": "Roman - Demon Rising."

Hurri Cosmo has a new MM paranormal/sci fi romance, book one of “Demon Rising Book One”: “Roman – Demon Rising.”

I belong to a Demon Lord. His name is Roman. He’s tall, strong, has long dark hair, a deep sexy voice and, let me tell you, absolutely f-ing gorgeous. Yep. I even wear his ring. Third finger, left hand.

Except – its’s not a wedding band. Far from it, actually. It simply means I’m his submissive.

Well – it doesn’t really mean that either, although I wish it did.

No. The ring’s function is only to give me “sight”. Being human, once I had it on, I could suddenly see Roman’s stupid lost legions; very nasty scary things that would as soon kill me as look at me. And because I wear the ring, guess what? It’s now my job to recapture all those creatures for him. Yay me, right?

At least I get to be close to Roman… sometimes.

But, to tell you the truth, I was tricked into putting this damn ring on by Cathy, some random woman I met at a park, who unfortunately likes Roman, too. A whole lot. She brazenly flirts with the demon every chance she gets and right in front of me, too. Crap, it pisses me off. In fact, she brags she was the one who found me, got the ring on me and then offered me up to Roman like I was a T-bone steak or something.

Well – honestly – that part’s okay.

However, there’s something else going on. Something big. Because there’s another gorgeous Demon Lord in our little earth realm and he will stop at nothing to capture Roman’s loose legions for himself. Not only that, seems he’s out to catch me, as well.

Huh. My name is Micah and things just got very interesting.

Hurri Cosmo - Roman - Demon Rising Meme2
Excerpt

Excerpt 4

Micah stared at her. What the hell was she thinking he could do? Glancing behind them, having turned down several different corridors, he realized they were completely lost. Even so, the demon/legion/thing from hell was still hot on their trail. Lumbering its thick body up the hall, sliming the walls and floor, the bird lizard bellowed at them, waving its mangy wings, making him cringe. “You want me to fight that? How?”

“I don’t know. You’re the ring wearer. Just… just suck it into the ring.”

As scared as she seemed to have been before, she stood there, hanging onto his arm, refusing to run another inch. Where was this bravery coming from? They needed to get out. He pried her fingers loose. “You fight it. I’m leaving.” Figuring she would follow, Micah turned and ran.

But of course, he had no idea of where he was going. He needed an outside door. Roman had said to get out of the building. Okay. How?

He flew through another set of double doors, amazed there were no codes to enter to open the them, no security or anything. That’s when he thought briefly about the guard at the entrance and the possibility he was being observed on one or more of the monitors. No way he would be able to explain his behavior. He slowed to a stop.

A nurse or doctor stopped beside him. “Can I help you? You look lost.”

“How do I get outside?”

She pointed back from where he had come. “You’re going the wrong way. You need to go back that way. Just follow the signs that say exit.”

“You mean there’s no way out of the building this way?”

“There’s an exit, but it doesn’t lead to the parking lot. It’s simply an area for patients and staff to relax. I’m assuming you want the parking lot.”

There was a scuffle and a hiss behind him. Damn. He knew if he turned he would see it. Did that thing get Cathy? “No. That actually sounds perfect. How do I get there?”

The woman’s expression was suspicious, like maybe she thought he was some escapee from the psych floor, but she indicated farther down the hall. “There’s a set of double doors at the end of this hallway. Go through them and you’ll see a sign for ‘Courtyard’. Follow that hallway and you can’t miss it.” She nodded, dismissing him, and went on her way.

Okay, courtyard. Perfect. He hurried toward the double doors and pushed through them…

and there the damn bird-thing was. Right in front of him.

“What the hell?”

How in the world was it able to get in front of him? But then why wouldn’t it be able to do that? He had no idea how any of this worked. He turned back, intending on reversing his course, maybe try and see what happened to Cathy, he shouldn’t have just abandoned her, but there was another one coming up the hallway right behind him.

“Fuck!” He was trapped. What did he do now?

An arm came around his neck and he was pulled backwards into a small room and the door shut in front of him. The arm wasn’t tight, he could breath, but he struggled mindlessly anyway. “Let me go!”

The arm left him but then a hand came hard and firm over his mouth and someone whispered fiercely in his ear, “Quiet! And be still. They will hear you.”

Hi, my name is Hurri Cosmo and I am a happy ending junkie. I always have been. You can be pretty rest assured everything I write will have one. I am not big on angst. I believe we get enough of that in real life so when I go to read something, to make the real world go away for awhile, I will most likely not chose something that will make me cry.

So I write for those people who, at least occasionally, feel the same way. I’m okay with the fact I will probably never write anything “important” but I guess I will have to see where my imagination takes me. I would love it if you would come along.

Blurb: Hi, my name is Trevor. I’m a wolf shifter.

I say that like I know what I’m talking about. I don’t. I was simply running off a ton of steam one day when I was around eleven and bam! Okay, not quite that easy or fast but it happened when I was young and stupid. I’m also gay. I say that like I know what I’m talking about with that too. I simply don’t.

I’m grown up now and living in the big city which has me too busy to much care about either one of those things. I get out and run my wolf when I can, trying like hell to stay out of the local pack’s territories. Belonging to a “family” just sounds like too much work, and honestly I don’t have time for such things. Besides, I was told when I was young the color of my wolf was all wrong. Too silver…or something. Metallic. I kinda thought it looked cool in the full moon. “Pack Alpha would kill ya soon as look at ya.” My grandpa used to say. Course he wasn’t my real grandpa. Just an old man who lived down the street, but he was a shifter too and I thought he knew it all. He probably knew diddly either, but a guy can’t be too careful. And romance? Way off the radar.

Only now someone has started killing wolves. Started leaving broken bodies lined up in a nice little row next to the high school in my home town and it’s got me to thinking. If a shifter is killed in his or her wolf state, do they stay that way? Were these dead wolves like me? The hell of it all is this: being a shifter isn’t common knowledge. It bothers me enough that now I want to find out more. See if there’s anything I can do. Kind of like a super hero.

Oh yeah. Probably forgot to tell you this too. I can turn invisible.

Yep, Ghost Wolf to the rescue.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: Trevor is a wolf shifter with absolutely no clue as to what that means or what he can do. He was adopted so has no one to show him the ropes. He meets an old man who becomes a friend. This man is a shifter but really doesn’t help Trevor besides telling him stories. When he passes he leaves Trevor a ring that can make him invisible but leaves no instructions on how to use said ring or whatever else it can do.

Trevor Meets Ryan, the leader of a pack and his mate but things get complicated as there is someone who wants Trevor as well. All in all it was a pretty good read with some things that I didn’t get. Trevor’s character seemed a little naive to me.

I liked all the twists and turns throughout the story that had me going WTH. Though it did have it’s funny moments I felt I would have liked more action than the funny parts.

Great read.

Review: An evil plan, many that are part of said plan and one man, Emory, who takes it upon himself to try and thwart the evil in the castle. I liked Emory’s determination and strong will even though it seemed every turn he took no one believe. He did not stop trying to warn others.
Prince Riffyn I did not like at first. I thought his treatment of Emory when the servant girl lied on him was horrible. If I were Emory I would have never looked back after being thrown out and no even given the benefit of hearing his side of things.

A great read with plenty of drama, danger and mystery. I loved how the story unfolded. Emory and Riffyn were a cute couple once everything was found out and they got together. There some tense scenes with the culprits of the plan against the kingdom. The scheming and the lengths that were made into the evil plan were interesting.

Great read.

The Servant Prince

(Ice Dragon Tales 01)
by

Hurri Cosmo

Prince Joron of Blade Rain was kissed by a man he had no idea was King Aric of Claymoor Doom. Of course King Aric had no idea the one he kissed was even a man since Joron was dressed as a woman.

Disguised to escape the newly crowned king of Blade Rain who just happens to be Joron’s brother, Joron is swept off his feet by Aric when he is rescued by him from an assault. Aric is also swept off his feet by the beauty of the “woman” and that one amazing kiss. Aric, who is led to believe the beautiful woman he kissed is actually the princess, immediately goes to the king of Blade Rain and offers for the princess’s hand in marriage and his offer is accepted.

Unfortunately, King Aric is now betrothed to Liarta, Joron’s sister. But an emergency has King Aric racing home without finding out the mistake he has made and now Joron must ride to Claymoor Doom to renegotiate the offer since Liarta is in love with someone else and does not want to marry King Aric.

Imagine Aric’s surprise when he discovers the Prince is the one he thought was the Princess! So Aric does the only thing he can think of. He will release Liarta from her obligation of marriage, but only if Joron takes her place… in the marriage bed.

The Servant King

(Ice Dragon Tales 02)

Things are going well for King Aric. He had Joron safely hidden away. Diagus, although a continuing threat to Joron, had left his castle empty handed, and the Cetin Gang was headed for his dungeons. He should be thrilled but – something was not right. He could feel it.

Sure enough, when he returns to Claymoor castle, he finds Joron has been kidnapped and he must ride immediately to rescue him. And knowing the culprit, it was not going to be an easy task. However, Aric has a trump card; a letter from a dead king. Seemingly nonsensical at first, it now points a finger directly at a murderer and Aric is convinced Joron is next. Somehow he has to find him and get Joron back into his protective arms before it’s too late.

Unfortunately, there are other huge pitfalls just waiting in the shadows. It turns out Joron is the true king of Blade Rain and Aric’s long dead wife miraculously returns to claim Aric as her own. Between all the lies, murders, and life altering revelations, is there hope for these two at all?

Hurri Cosmo - The Servant Crown Cover

The Servant crown

(Ice Dragon Tales 03)

King Diagus of Blade Rain is in a bind. He is duty bound to produce a royal heir and the only way he knows that can happen is if he beds a woman. Definitely not his idea of Happily Ever After. In fact, far from it. Except instead of walking down the aisle with the princess he has arranged to marry, Diagus is off in the wilds of Claymoor Doom. But there’s a good reason. Rumor had it there was someone near Gray Valley with Diagus’s stark blue eyes. A possible relative and therefore an heir? Was there a chance he might not have to marry a woman, after all?  Regrettably, Diagus finds no one matching the rumor’s description. What he does find is a heinous, black magic plot for murder and Diagus is the next on the list.

Tama’s pregnant sister claimed to be carrying the child of a king. Not just any king. The mighty king of Blade Rain. She was determined to get out of the very poor house of Hilman and into the lap of luxury. But fate had its own agenda. Sadly, Tama must raise his nephew all by himself after his sister unexpectedly dies in childbirth. It’s not a problem, though. He loves Aydin as he loved his sister – with all his heart.

However, Tama’s lazy and abusive father, Beourn, is angry and extremely disappointed. Being the grandfather of a crown prince, he was looking forward to moving to the castle and living a life of extravagance. With his daughter’s death, that was no longer possible. So, he does the unthinkable. He kidnaps Aydin with the intent of selling him to the rich and powerful king. Tama is stunned he would do such a thing and chases after Beourn to rescue Aydin.

But he doesn’t get far before he is confronted with a beautiful man being viciously attacked. Of course Tama has to help. If he doesn’t the man will surely die. Except Tama quickly learns the man is far more than just someone in trouble. In fact, the man is a king and will change Tama’s life. Forever.

Then Sawyer Happened

by

Hurri Cosmo

Trace is nursing a broken heart. He lost his job, his boyfriend of two years was cheating on him, and his apartment building burned right to the ground with all his worldly possessions.  It was time for Trace to get out of Minnesota.

So Trace heads for Texas and Riven Creek Ranch, the horse farm his aunt Lois owns. But hours before he arrives, Lois is in a terrible car accident that nearly takes her life, and Trace finds himself in charge of the ranch kitchen. Sounds simple enough and it’s the least he can do for his recuperating aunt.

Then Sawyer happens.

Sawyer is his aunt’s big, beautiful, muscle bound, incredibly sexy straight ranch manager. Someone who has no clue Trace is gay. And meeting the big man should have been okay, except it was in the middle of his aunt’s kitchen at five in the morning and Trace was nearly naked. Embarrassing? Yep. But the very next day Trace proceeded to ramp up his embarrassment by quantum leaps when he nearly sets his aunt’s house on fire and the brooding Sawyer has to come to the rescue.

Seems like Trace’s “luck” followed him.

Not to mention that Aunt Lois’s “accident” was actually attempted murder. And now, they just might want Trace dead, too.

Can Trace figure out who’s behind the attempts on his aunt’s life AND keep Sawyer from finding out he’s hot for the cowboy?

He probably can’t. But he’s going to try.

Although they’ve been labeled as a group of misfits, Minneapolis’ 77th police precinct has plenty of talent.  The problem is, it’s paranormal talent and no one’s supposed to know about it.

Nick keeps his officers busy chasing after all the creepy crawly things that tend to go “bump” in the night, thus insuring the twin cities are safe and totally unaware that other realms even exist. Nick is the Door Keeper and his job as the precinct’s captain is to maintain order in what would otherwise be chaos.

When said chaos rears its ugly head in the form of a ferocious and brutal vampire, the last thing Nick needs is to deal with a new partner, even if that new partner is as sexy as Arrain.

Review: This is the second edition and there are no noticeable changes. Rhys lives in underground Winderport with his gang Fury. They all know that there is a world above them that they have heard stories about, but never do they ever expect to leave the underground. When one of his gang, Joey, is murdered, Rhys is on the trail of the killer all the way up to above Winderport, where the killer has a meeting with a mysterious man. But Rhys has an accident and forgets everything. All he has to go on is a flash of memory of fat fingers and some pictures of a sexy man. When he meets Kullian, he can’t fight the attraction but he has to regain his memories, as he knows there is something important he has to do.

This is a great story set some time in the future where the underground tunnels has its own civilization and the above world is run by powerful men. Rhys is the leader of his gang, a small group of guys who are like family, but now one of their own has been murdered and Rhys is determined to make the killer pay. Kullian is a Fey Baron, a self-made powerful man, and somebody has stolen something that should never fall into anyone’s hands and he wants it back. The two men cross paths and their worlds collide. But, can their attraction really breach the divide of above and underground Winderport?

Rhys and Kullian are both great characters who come together by chance, Rhys is looking for the murderer of his friend, and Kullian wants back what was stolen. Their paths cross and their reaction to each other is instant, but Rhys’ memory loss is hampering him and after an amazing night with Kullian he attempts to go on the hunt again. While the story is playing out above ground, we also see what is happening underground with Rhys’ gang and their desperation to find Rhys but they also have to deal with a rival gang boss who has a grudge against Rhys. The gang characters Teneff, Pylei, Nerin, Westvil and Guneal are wonderfully written and add a lot to the story. Enriching the storyline and helping to connect the threads together.

I recommend this to those who love futuristic stories, great characters, a well woven plot, a great storyline with danger, twists and tense situations, a fast developing relationship, hot sex and a great ending.

Blurb: Kyrus is a wanted man. He’s an Astral Mage, better known as a “Soul Giver”, a race of people who can reattach life force energy back to its source. In other words, he brings the dead back to life. For years, the Confederated Authority, the governing body for planets, has been methodically hunting them down and Kyrus is as pure as they’ve seen.

So it becomes a huge risk when Tilbarr, the captain of the Wolf, brings Kyrus on board his ship. Not that Tilbarr is afraid of the ConFed. Far from it. But the threat to Kyrus doesn’t come from outside the Wolf and it isn’t long before Tilbarr realizes he just may have to give up everything in order to save Kyrus, his ship, his crew and even his life. All in all, not a bad trade off.

Review: This is the second edition and there are no noticeable changes.

Kyrus has been captured and is being sold off. All because he is an Astral Mage, a person who can manipulate energy and reattach souls back to their bodies. For years, he has had to hide and run. But it looks like his luck has run out or so it seems. Until pirates board the ship, he is kept prisoner on. Tilbarr is the captain of the spaceship Wolf. He takes great pride in liberating certain vessels of their illegal goods. On one such trip, he comes across a young prisoner that intrigues him. Taking him back to the Wolf is a risk. But it is a risk he takes and it has nothing to do with his attraction for the mage. When Kyrus falls into the wrong hands Tilbarr realizes that he would do anything to save Kyrus, but has the realization come too late?

This is a really good science fiction story that has a slight twist of fantasy. Kyrus is a full-blooded Astral Mage and has to be on his guard against betrayal. Being different will lead the ConFed to him and if the ConFed get him, then he will never be free again, Kyrus would disappear just like all the other Astral Mages before him. Meeting Tilbarr gives him a little hope that he can finally trust someone, but the danger that could follow him is too much risk, but when Kyrus needs Tilbarr most, the man he has fallen for is there for him. Tilbarr takes a huge risk with Kyrus as his second in command, Slydane, repeatedly tells him, but Tilbarr has never felt such an instant connection to someone before and when he thinks he has lost Kyrus forever, he is willing to give up everything to get his man back.

I found this story to be really interesting, discovering a little bit about what an Astral Mage could do was fascinating and I would have loved to discover even more, but I don’t think even Kyrus knew all that much about it poor guy. Now Kyrus has had a really crappy life because of his abilities and never knowing who he could trust. But when he meets Tilbarr, he has an instance connection to him. Which I kept thinking was like a mate-bond, but a bond like that was never mentioned. Tilbarr is a really good character and although he did waffle a touch at first, he threw himself into going after Kyrus with his guns blazing, and showed his love and devotion in a reckless and terribly romantic way (well I thought it was anyway).

Well, I can honestly say that the sex between Kyrus and Tilbarr is explosive, although at one point I paused and thought the timing was a bit strange, but then really I just might throw myself into it as well if I was chancing capture or death like they were. I am hoping for more about the mysterious experiments that ConFed is conducting in future books, but we will just have to see what Hurri Cosmo comes up with for Slydane.

I will recommend this to those who love science fiction/fantasy, dangerous circumstances, space explosions, really hot sex, escapes and a very happy ending.

Blurb: Standing on a cold, high bridge in the middle of nowhere is actually progress for Jack Demar. Nevertheless, exhausted, aching from both physical and mental bruises with no food, no coat, no real life to speak of, he stares into the rushing water below and can’t help but wonder…what is the point of going on?

Jack is on the run from Trevor, an abusive ex-lover, when Sam Wyndom, the police chief of the tiny town of Stonefield, shows up. Sam feeds him, gives him a bed and shelter, and offers him time to heal. Even so, Jack is still surprised how strongly he’s attracted to the tall, handsome, and muscular lawman. After two years with Trevor, he thought that part of his heart was long dead. But it hardly matters what he feels, since he knows he can’t stay in one place too long.

Sam is content taking care of his town. Sure, he’s alone, but that doesn’t mean he’s lonely. Still, his tiny town doesn’t offer up much in the way of potential partners—until Jack shows up. Suddenly, Sam will do anything to get Jack to stay, which means he will need to show the frightened and abused man he can be trusted to protect him.

But Trevor isn’t finished with Jack yet. With a little bit of detective work, he’s going to find him…and then Sam will have to work extra hard to keep Jack safe…

Review: This is the second Edition and there are no noticeable changes.

Jack flees for his life when his lover attacks him yet again. Jack knows it’s different this time and he ends up States away, hoping that his ex-lover won’t find him. Bruised, tired, and hungry, Jack wonders what he has to live for.

Sam, Chief of Police, takes pity on the young man he finds on a bridge and takes him home. He fights his attraction to give Jack time to trust him and can only hope he can have the relationship he wishes for. As they get to know each other, both fall hard. And as Jack, finds the life he always longed for, Sam is there encouraging him every step of the way. But Trevor isn’t about to let Jack walk free, and does a little sleuthing of his own with deadly intent.

This is a great story where two men find each other and discover the perfect partner. But it is fraught with nightmares, as one is recovering from an abusive relationship. Both Jack and Sam are great characters. Sam is the alpha male who wants to save and protect and Jack is the submissive male who wants to be loved and cherished. Together they make an explosive, hot couple who, once they embark on a relationship, really heat up the sheets… and the shower.

Sam is amazing as he encourages Jack to spread his wings. And it shows just how secure he is in himself, because, man, Sam is possessive and protective. A true alpha male who takes control, but is gentle about it. Jack is clearly of the submissive nature, needing someone to firmly encourage and guide him. Put Jack and Sam together and you have a perfect couple. As you know, crazy abusive assholes want to punish the one who stood up to them. They want to show them who is boss and Trevor certainly fits into that mold.

I really liked how the abusive relationship was handled. With Jack at first making excuses and then acknowledging how destructive it was. And then finally Jack accepting that he wasn’t at fault and reprimanding himself over staying for so long. You can clearly see the process as it develops. And you cheer Jack as he accepts the help offered to him. The entire storyline is great and I thought the author handled Jack’s nightmares and fears well,

Hurri Cosmo didn’t write a miraculous recovery, no Hurri wrote about the fears and nightmares and the instinctual reactions that a sufferer of abuse has. The storyline is well written and moves along swiftly. We get to know the characters pretty well. And although their relationship progresses quickly, it felt natural and not forced.

I recommend this to those who adore stories of finding the love you deserve, encouragement and safety, great characters, some danger and a wonderful happy

Review: Joron is a prince of Blade Run and has lived the last several years helping to fix the problems that his sex mad, cruel father ignored. When his older brother, Diagus, returns due to his father’s ill health he has hope that things will begin to improve, and he holds on to that, hope even as he learns that he has to avoid Diagus at all costs. When his brother inherits the throne, Joron learns he is the owner of Ice Dragon Pass and his stepmother will stop at nothing to return it to his Diagus’ rule. King Aric is visiting to negotiate for passage through Ice Dragon Pass, and to see if he can find the servant who caught his eye months ago. When Aric comes across a lady being attacked he is overcome by her beauty and decides to make her his. Joron is shocked to learn of his sisters impending marriage, especially since she is promised to another who she loves and sets out to Claymoor Doom to convince King Aric to release his sister from the contract and then things become interesting. With Aric refusing to let him go and his brother’s obsession with him, Joron can still only think about his subjects and their suffering, but can he give up the love he is beginning to find or will the threat to others make him give up his freedom?

I have to say that this story was a joy to read, a world that has a medieval feel to it, a generous thoughtful prince in danger, a powerful king who is arrogant, and a new king who isn’t quite right in the head. Joron is an incredible character who is selfless and kind; he is also beautiful and intelligent and has put himself at risk for his people. Aric is an interesting character who is arrogant and very sure of himself, he sees what he wants and will do anything to get it. Diagus is a character who is definitely the baddie, he creeps you out with his obsession, and although you get glimpses of something good in him, the obsession overshadows everything else.

I was pulled quickly into this story and found myself wondering what was going to happen next, the storyline is very involved but has many characters who share the weight. The perspective does move from character to character but in such a way, that it is very clear and not confusing, and I have to say it was nice to be able to see certain parts from other people’s eyes. The storyline itself is brilliantly composed because there is more going on than just Joron and Aric getting together, we have a self-involved Queen/Queen Mother who will do anything to make sure her son has power, we have a new king obsessed with making his brother his, we have an arrogant king who has mystery surrounding him and then Joron who will do anything to protect those he cares about.

Joron’s and Aric’s relationship isn’t easy and from the way the story ended it isn’t going to be easy either, the sex between them is hot and at first it is coercive but Joron soon discovers just how much he enjoys it. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can’t wait to see what will happen next, there is so much to look forward to with the different players in the story and the plans that are beginning to unfold.

I recommend this to those who love high fantasy, great characters, a brilliant storyline, some creepiness, danger, hot sex and the beginning of  difficult love story.

To make matters even worse, Tome insists now he will accompany Hunter on his quest–to protect him. Being handcuffed together, Hunter can hardly refuse. But how can Hunter save the world if he has to constantly battle a very determined Tome’s advances? More importantly, how can he save himself from falling for this man with the dazzling smile?

Review: Hunter is a warrior and a great swordsman but he has dreams that foretell tragedy. When a Quest Gathering is called to find the ‘one’ who will save the kingdom, Hunter is eager to participate when he discovers the Seer is at the castle, maybe his disturbing dreams are connected to the horror the seer has foreseen. But the Seer disappears and Hunter sets off on his own quest to find the Seer but his friend/adversary Tome is determined to be the best and handcuffs himself to Hunter. Tome has more reasons to shackle himself to Hunter and is determined to finally shatter Hunter’s shell, so helping Hunter to save the world seems like a good idea but Tome and Hunter face a horror that just might be the death of them both.

This great little fantasy adventure is a smooth read and easy to enjoy. Hunter and Tome have known each other for years but have never quite been friends, Tome is determined to change that, but Hunter can’t quite forget the past that colors his feelings. As the two set out on the adventure together Tome finally cracks Hunter’s carefully crafted shell and Hunter finally accepts the feelings that Tome invokes in him. Together they face an adversary that they never expected and their relationship is changed forever.

I really enjoyed this story for its interesting storyline and for its simplistic setting, the world is written simply without too much information or too many characters to bog the story down. Both Hunter and Tome are interesting men, when the story starts out they both seem to be friendly adversary’s but it soon becomes apparent that there is a lot more to their relationship, a lot of which is based in the past. The story is all from Hunter’s perspective but we get a great feel for Tome, we see how Hunter works through his feelings and the worry he has over the role he has set himself. Tome is much simpler to watch, he wants Hunter to be his and is aggressive in his pursuit, which is fun to watch, both characters can be a bit arrogant at times, but they fit the storyline perfectly.

The storyline is great and you pick up what is happening easily, you get a good idea of who the baddie is and we see things connect together well, so it leaves you in no doubt that the plotting within the story has been going on for some time. The development of Hunter’s and Tome’s relationship is kinda sweet and heats up pretty well, there is also a slight D/s element that sneaks in from nowhere and surprises as both characters seem quite dominant but it adds a little spice. The adventure is pretty tame but the actual foes that are being fought are sneaky and eerie and the conclusion of the story is exciting.

I recommend this to those that love fantasy adventure, great characters, a slightly twisty storyline and a blossoming love.

Blurb: Even with Rhys holding the knife at Kullian’s throat drawing blood, he knew he had no control over the Fey Baron. Kullian knew it too. However, the dangerous dance was sexy as hell. But who would come out on top?

Rhys has spent his entire life in underground Winderport. He knew there was a whole other world above his “sky” but he wasn’t interested–until the day, he chased a killer to that mystical upper world and saw Kullian, all six-foot something of perfection. So what if the man was a notorious and powerful Fey Baron? Rhys wasn’t a typical law-abiding citizen himself. The very fact the man was dangerous made him that much more attractive and had Rhys wanting things he’d never even considered before.

But an injury causes Rhys to lose his memory and his only clues to his identity are his gun and a camera with pictures of Kullian’s silver eyes looking right into the lens. However, Rhys does have one memory–he was after a murderer and somehow Kullian is involved. It’s a race against time because Rhys needs to find his memory and this mysterious killer before it’s too late. Could it be he might just find love as well?

Review: Rhys lives in underground Winderport with his gang Fury.

The two men cross paths and their worlds collide but can their attraction really breach the divide of above and underground Winderport?

Rhys and Kullian are both great characters who come together by chance, Rhys is looking for the murderer of his friend, and Kullian wants back what was stolen. Their paths cross and their reaction to each other is instant, but Rhys’ memory loss is hampering him and after an amazing night with Kullian he attempts to go on the hunt again. While the story is playing out above ground, we also see what is happening underground with Rhys’ gang and their desperation to find Rhys but they also have to deal with a rival gang boss who has a grudge against Rhys. The gang characters Teneff, Pylei, Nerin, Westvil and Guneal are wonderfully written and add a lot to the story, enriching the storyline and helping to connect the threads together.

I recommend this to those who love futuristic stories, great characters, a well woven plot, a great storyline with danger, twists and tense situations, a fast developing relationship, hot sex and a great ending.

Blurb: Ryan only dated girls before he met Jansen. He would like to say he’s simply confused except that’s just not the case. But how does he “get the guy” when his former girlfriend is out for the same prize?

Ryan’s former girlfriend, Cheyenne, is used to getting what she wants. Right now, she wants Jansen Branwyth. The only problem is so does Ryan. For the first time in his life, he’s strongly attracted to a man. Okay, maybe it’s not the first time but that first time didn’t count because it was two months ago and it was the same man. Except with the very beautiful Cheyenne going after Jansen and thinking she’ll have no problem getting him, Ryan is sure he has absolutely no chance. Jansen, however, doesn’t care one bit what either one of them think. He knows exactly who he wants and knows precisely how he will go about getting his man.

Review: Ryan briefly met a man who rescued him in his time of need. Since then, he has been plagued by the attraction he felt to the mystery man, as Ryan has never been attracted to a man before. Bumping into the man again, while he is on a ‘date’ with his ex-girlfriend, Cheyenne, on the Superior Jewel sends him further into confusion as his attraction is as strong as ever. But, why would the sexy man be interested in him when Cheyenne is pulling out all the stops to grab the man’s attention. Jansen hasn’t been able to get the sexy man he rescued off his mind. spotting him again on a lake cruise gives him the opportunity to get what he wants, but first he has to deal with the seductive Cheyenne first.

This is a brilliant ‘gay for you’ story where the sexy playboy discovers he has a heart that wants just one man. Ryan is such a sweet character, he is thoughtful, polite and unassuming, and discovering that he is attracted to a man confused him, especially such a successful man like Jansen who he has no hope of getting. Jansen is a confident playboy, just one chance meeting with Ryan stuck in his head. Jansen is sure that Ryan would be fun, but spending even a short time with the man convinces him that he wants Ryan for keeps. Cheyenne is a woman who is manipulative and conniving. She pulls out all the stops to get Jansen’s attention never realizing who Jansen’s prey really is.

I thought this story was brilliant. Ryan, Jansen and Cheyenne certainly make for entertaining reading. Although this story is set over the period of just one night, it does have a flashback to two months earlier when Jansen and Ryan first met. And even though Jansen becomes ensnared by Ryan’s charm very quickly, it doesn’t seem quick. Because, Jansen watches Ryan from afar seeing him interact with others and how Ryan handles Cheyenne’s behavior. Ryan is infatuated by Jansen, but we don’t get his clear feelings at the end, we just get Jansen’s determination never to let a jewel like Ryan go.

I did really enjoy this story and really, really enjoyed watching Jansen let Cheyenne dig herself a huge hole. Ryan is an absolute sweetheart and Jansen is like watching a shark circle waiting for blood. The sex between Jansen and Ryan is scorching, the possessiveness that Jansen shows is a huge turn on and Ryan’s slight submission is hot. The ending to this story is a happy for now one, but you can tell that they will be blissfully happy together.

I will recommend this to those that love gay for you stories, great characters, a bitch getting her comeuppance, a sweet man getting what he really deserves and a playboy losing his heart… oh and the really hot sex.

Blurb: Until beautiful Kyrus fell into his arms, Tilbarr thought he was happy running around destroying turborus before the bad guys could get their hands on it. Clearly Kyrus trusted nobody and rightfully so, but Tilbarr was determined to change that.

Kyrus is a wanted man. He’s an Astral Mage, better known as a “Soul Giver”, a race of people who can reattach life force energy back to its source. In other words, he brings the dead back to life. For years the Confederated Authority, the governing body for planets, has been methodically hunting them down and Kyrus is as pure as they’ve seen. So it becomes a huge risk when Tilbarr, the captain of the Wolf, brings Kyrus on board his ship, and absolutely not because he was falling for the man. Review: Kyrus has been captured and is being sold off, all because he is an Astral Mage. A person who can manipulate energy and reattach souls back to their bodies.  For years he has had to hide and run, but it looks like his luck has run out or so it seems until pirates board the ship he is kept prisoner on. Tilbarr is the captain of the spaceship Wolf.  He takes great pride in liberating certain vessels of their illegal goods.  On one such trip he comes across a young prisoner that intrigues him.  Taking him back to the Wolf is a risk, but it is a risk he takes and it has nothing to do with his attraction for the mage. When Kyrus falls into the wrong hands, Tilbarr realizes that he would do anything to save Kyrus, but has the realization come too late?

This is a really good science fiction story that has a slight twist of fantasy. Kyrus is a full-blooded Astral Mage and has to be on his guard against betrayal. Being different will lead the ConFed to him and if the ConFed get him, then he will never be free again.  Kyrus would disappear just like all the other Astral Mages before him. Meeting Tilbarr gives him a little hope that he can finally trust someone, but the danger that could follow him is too much risk.  But, when Kyrus needs Tilbarr most, the man he has fallen for is there for him. Tilbarr takes a huge risk with Kyrus as his second in command, Slydane, repeatedly tells him, but Tilbarr has never felt such an instant connection to someone before and when he thinks he has lost Kyrus forever.  He is willing to give up everything to get his man back.

I found this story to be really interesting.  Discovering a little bit about what an Astral Mage could do was fascinating and I would have loved to discover even more.  But, I don’t think even Kyrus knew all that much about it poor guy. Now Kyrus has had a really crappy life because of his abilities and never knowing who he could trust, but when he meets Tilbarr he has an instant connection to him, which I kept thinking was like a mate-bond, but a bond like that was never mentioned. Tilbarr is a really good character and although he did waffle a touch at first, he threw himself into going after Kyrus with his guns blazing, and showed his love and devotion in a reckless and terribly romantic way (well I thought it was anyway).

Well, I can honestly say that the sex between Kyrus and Tilbarr is explosive.  Although, at one point I paused and thought the timing was a bit strange, but then really I just might throw myself into it as well if I was chancing capture or death like they were.
