Review: I loved this story about Christian and Lorcen. The sexual tension between the two after they meet was off the charts. Christian hates vampires due to what happened to his family. Lorcen is regent vampire put in charge of finding out who killed vampires in his territory by his sovereign Nero. Tensions mount as the two try to adjust with working together despite Lorcen thoughts about Christian being the killer.

There were a lot of twists and turns that kept on my edge of seat as I followed the investigation as to who the killer or killers were and why they were doing it. I was amazed by how well written and smoothly the story flowed from one thing to the next. I loved all the characters throughout as they added their own elements to enhance this book to it’s fullest potential.

Suspense, mystery and all sorts of supernatural beings create an awesome addition to the series as the team tries to unravel the who and why of the killings. The actual killer did not surprise me but what did was those he killed.

This story has it all. An evil person set to try to take more power no matter the cost, two men who are attracted to one another yet one fights it, supernatural beings both allies, new and old and enemies and a great detail to the investigation made for an outstanding book to read.

Highly recommended.

Review: I have not read a book by either author but have heard a lot of good things about their books. When I saw this book I asked to review it.

D’Angelo is a badass hunter. He was brash and arrogant. He knew he was sexy and intimidating and it showed. Angel, Ansel as D’Angelo likes to call him, seemed a little too in awe at times.

While I liked the idea of the story about how two men from an institute that specialises in training hunters to hunt down evil beings and these two men leaving and starting their own business due to the institute wanting them to procreate with women when they are gay I did not care for being told constantly about said institute and rules. Believe me I understood the first two times. As a result of this I was continuously pulled out of the story.

I am hoping because this was the beginning of a series that in future books the repetition of different aspects will no longer be an issue. I was also hoping for more actual action scenes seeing as how they are a group of hunters.

Overall it was an interesting beginning.

Review: As Brian and Sheila drive around on patrol they get pulled over when someone finds a body in the dumpster. Brian has a bad feeling but since he can only secure the area and not investigate he leaves it alone. Unfortunately, later that evening, while undercover for the society, he starts putting pieces together. It appears the demonic killings may be the same as the ones related to his human world.

He also realizes that Raphael has not taught him near enough to understand this new part of his life. The Society is not that forthcoming either with information so Brian is walking on eggshells hoping he has the right answers. He keeps making deals that I’m afraid are going to haunt him.

We got a small taste of Adriel in Initiated. However, it was enough to know that he is a very powerful King. In Mischief, we get to see some of his power at work. He’s not impressed with Brian’s disrespect and lack of understanding in the demon world, which is mostly Raphael’s fault, and punishes them both for their insolence.

A new demon is introduced known as a Takata demon. Daylen can give different types of torment, but he will be pleasuring Brian and Raphael. You may wonder how that could be a punishment, but too much pleasure can be torment, especially when hours go by and you are not allowed to orgasm.

Adriel’s goal is to make Brian accept his new role as an Agoto but also accept his role as Raphael’s mate. He wants him to acknowledge that he loves the pleasure from Raphael and he should return the favor, and like it.

Brian does like it, a lot in fact, but it’s hard for him to not only accept these new feelings but to acknowledge them aloud. Before he became a demon, he was 100% straight and never looked twice at a man. That has since changed but he’s not ready to admit these uncomfortable feelings.

Regardless to all the new and confusing feelings and changes going on with Brian, he still has a job to do for the Society. He continues to grapple with his human morals and has a hard time taking an innocent persons life, just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Trying to take on the attitude that sacrificing one person to save many may be the only thing that will get him through this undercover assignment.

The author continues to raise the stakes on each new episode. I enjoy finding out more information each time which throws us more and more into this demonic world with Brian. We, the readers, are learning just as Brian is learning so a lot of the time this causes me to hold my breath in anticipation or fear, depending on the circumstance, hoping Brian doesn’t take the wrong turn.

Nicholas Bella knows how to write sexy scenes that demand your full attention. As the Takata demon gets busy pleasuring Raphael and Brian, the author shows the level of creativity his imagination can go. I’m not going to spoil it for you by telling you how he pleasures them because each reader needs to experience it as it unfolds but I will say that Nicholas continues to surprise me, every… single…time.

One thing you should know about this author, if you don’t already, he will push your imagination to new heights and he doesn’t write the same scenes over and over. It’s intense and refreshing. I shouldn’t be surprised by these new revelations, but I am each time. I find myself just shaking my head, smiling from ear to ear, and saying Wow…Nicholas, you are so freaking clever. Ha-ha.

Review: Disciplined is the 4th episode and finale of Season 3. If fanart disciplinedyou’ve made it this far I would definitely say you are just as hooked and addicted as the rest of us. Nicholas closes out this season with a lot of underlying tension and unanswered questions.

Théoden – The time has come for King Ara to leave and Théoden shows us a new side that he certainly doesn’t show often, if ever. Compassion and loneliness. This will be the first time, in hundreds of years, that Théoden doesn’t have his sire close to him. Luckily, he has a full plate with his new duties as Prince and his sons and grandsons to keep him occupied. It was still a heartfelt moment seeing them off and certainly a side we haven’t seen before from Théoden.

Don’t worry because he also reminds us that he is not a pushover as he doles out punishment when Noel displeases him. One thing I’ve noticed with all the vampires is they don’t hold a grudge against each other, usually. A good blowjob administered by one of his talented sons will put Théoden in a good mood and all seems forgotten. I’ve noticed this with Marco, as well. Noel is usually good at making Marco mad several times throughout the day but give him pleasure and you can find yourself back in his good graces. I’m sure, if needed, they can pull the offence back into their memory just as quickly.

Noel – Noel has come so far in such a short time yet, he still has much to learn. When he makes his wishes known that he doesn’t want to participate in spit-swapping he realizes immediately Théoden’s displeasure. Of course, it’s too late by the time he knows he screwed up and his brothers enjoy teaching him the lesson.

Noel gets to ride along with Marco and Bruce as they fulfill their duties as Generals. When a vampire goes against the decree to embrace a human, Bruce has no leniency towards him and hands out a pretty harsh punishment. Noel not only enjoyed watching how Bruce handled the situation but he was thrilled with the power and respect they were given with their new titles.

As he demonstrates later on a shopping trip with Marco, he is really getting the hang of being in control and taking what he wants. You can’t help but laugh because you have this visual of Marco grinning from ear to ear as he sits back and watches him. He is thrilled to see this new side of Noel emerge and he lets him know he is pleased.

Dante – I’m not sure what to think about Dante. He is agreeing and cooperating with everything Théoden asks of him but is he really embracing his future or just afraid of the outcome if he doesn’t? I think it’s a little of both and time will tell as I’m sure Théoden will set many traps to test his loyalty.

Théoden doesn’t make threats that he doesn’t uphold, and he now has ownership of Dante’s mother. This scares Dante more than any kind of punishment because he knows Théoden wouldn’t hesitate to follow thru with his threats. And, hey…it’s his mama. He wants her safe and protected.

Deacon – From the moment we met Deacon we knew he was plotting something, and has plans to use Théoden to get what he wants. Unfortunately, we are not privy to the details yet so I can only imagine the destruction and mayhem this will cause. Not only do I feel like this is a dumb move on Deacon’s part but I’ve grown rather attached to him and I hate to see him plot against the Prince.

Now that the mating ritual is complete, Deacon introduces Elijah to the other alpha wolves as his mate. Here we meet some new characters who appear to be just as conniving and smart as Deacon. It will be interesting to see if they become friend or foe because as Deacon comes across as being very patient and easygoing…he is anything but. It also appears he has set his plan in motion which adds a new level of intensity to the plot.

fanart disciplined by nick bellaWhether it is vampires, dragons, or wolves, we have been ensnared by them and Nicholas’ storytelling ability. As this season comes to a close, Nicholas has left us hanging on every word and craving for more. The New Haven series is full of complex and intricate characters that have many facets making this a very enjoyable and captivating read. These are not standalone episodes as they must be read in order to understand the dynamics in place.

There is hardcore and erotic dialogue that the author makes no apologies for. The sex is explosive and plentiful but that’s not all there is. There is a very intriguing plot that has many twists and turns and if you are so inclined to jump in you will be in for a thrilling ride. This is not a romance, but you will love it just the same. Nicholas is crafty and clever with his storytelling, and he uses it against us, lol, giving him the ability to capture his audience.

Review: And…the plot thickens!!

Brian Cordero, the sexy cop turned into a demon Agoto is getting in over his head, I’m afraid. He is struggling trying to meet the demands his body needs as far as feeding and having sex with his mate. He continues to be in denial about the pleasures he receives from Raphael even though fulfilling the demands his body is seeking makes him fill renewed and have newfound vitality.

In the first episode, Brian was approached by a secret organization who wanted his help in bringing a powerful demon God into the fold. After talking with Raphael, and learning some more facts about the demon species, he makes a decision that hopefully won’t be his downfall. He also learned that he may not be as indestructible as he first thought therefore losing some of his confidence.

But, he can’t deny that some of his new abilities come in very handy on his day job as a police officer. With his increased hearing and vision he is able to take down some deadbeats before too much damage is done. Of course, he must tread carefully in order not to set off any triggers with his partner, Sheila. I’m not sure how long he will be able to keep this info from her as she also is very good at her job and recognizes when Brian veers away from their normal routine.

As much as Brian tries to tell himself and others that he hates the sex with his mate, his body tells something else. Making a decision to approach the demon God, Adriel Sama, definitely takes him out of his comfort zone. Not only is he immediately attracted to him…a man…another one… he walks in on a foursome that makes a body part or two wake up and take notice.

Lying about the effects he is having will not work with Adriel since he has the ability to read Brian’s mind. An ability that he takes advantage repeatedly.

Brian wanted to talk with Adriel to see if he would join their ranks within the organization. However, the outcome is not what he was hoping for. But, what will happen when Adriel has a request to make of Brian? He may be willing to help but he has conditions of his own. Conditions that will require Brian to learn some new words such as Sir, Master, my King, or my Liege.

And, this is where I say the plot thickens. Nicholas is a devious and clever author as he intricately weaves a whole new level of intensity and intrigue into the storyline. I can’t wait to see how Brian reacts to these new terms. Does he have a submissive bone in his body?

Right now, I would say no, but I have no doubt, at all, that Adriel is a very persuasive and demanding demon. He’s already given Brian a taste of his passion proving that he is not unaffected as he tries to believe. Adriel is sexy and gorgeous and very powerful. And he wants Brian. But, what about Raphael? He is Brian’s mate and he wants to spend more time with him, not just be a booty call or only be called if Brian’s in trouble. I’m positive this new element will bring much delight to the storyline.

The next book is titled, Mischief, and I am already imagining the ways that will be fitting. I love the way Nicholas continues to add more and more to the plot, taking us down different avenues that is sure to add more excitement and suspense. I love that he includes a sense of humor in his characters that will always put a smile on your face.

The author’s depiction instills us with a vivid imagination of the characters feelings and actions. We are part of this journey with Brian as he tries to find his footing and navigate his new world. We are only two episodes into the series, but the author devotes his storytelling to give us an overall portrayal of what lies ahead making this another addicting series by this talented author.

There is an f/m scene with Brian and one of his lady conquests. Personally, I skim over these scenes because they can ruin a story for me, but I can also acknowledge that this development was needed in order to help Brian accept his new role of having a male lover. He needed to know he can still get turned on with a female. Thanks to the perfect timing of an unexpected visit from Adriel, it was over fairly quickly.

Nicholas always manages to make each episode fun and sexy while continually building the plot with suspenseful and engaging dialogue. The ending always comes too soon, unfortunately, and the anticipation of the next episode kicks in. Another great addition to the Demon Gate Series.

I can’t wait to see if my overactive imagination comes true in Mischief.

Review: I thought Théoden was a badass before, but NOW, he is sadistic badass. Wow, the alphas have come out to play. Whether it was Théoden, Marco, or Deacon, they all had a point to make and god help you if you were on the opposite end of their wrath.

Someone else who is a badass…Dante. Boy, when are you going to learn? He is super mouthy and apparently had not suffered enough to learn his lesson. Théoden has never met a challenge he didn’t win and he was determined to break Dante. You got to give credit to Dante for not going down easily, and I think had Théoden not discovered his weakness, he would still be fighting him. He is one of the characters that I am most eager to see where Nicholas takes him.

Another one not willing to be outdone was Deacon. I think he kind of thought Elijah would have conceded by now but he is just as hardheaded as his master. Because Elijah is Deacon’s mate, he was being very liberal with him but Elijah’s hostility was getting out of hand.

There are three mating rituals to go through before their mating is complete. With each one the bond seems to be forming stronger between them. I am anxious for Elijah to concede because I think he and Deacon will be a really hot couple together. I like Deacon, I like the way he handles those closest to him, but I’m concerned with his intentions to outwit Théoden.

The most important issue right now for Deacon is mating and claiming Elijah. Two wolves together equal HOT and you certainly don’t want to miss this moment. There are many hot scenes to encounter and Théoden has fun with a dragon and his flexible tongue. You definitely don’t want to miss that.

I am so impressed with Nicholas’s creativity and the way he pulls the reader in with each scene he writes. The plot is so thick now with several different entities at play. It doesn’t matter if it is vampires, dragons, or werewolves taking over the plot. Every character Nicholas has created is addicting and easy to fall in love with. It almost seems the more brutal and sadistic their behavior…the more we love them.

The New Haven Series is compiled of 13 books so far and in no way, shape, or form, are his fans getting bored. Each one just gets better and better and as readers we can’t seem to get enough. The dialogue is fresh and his resourcefulness is brilliant.

If you haven’t tried any of these books by Nicholas Bella, you need to read the warnings, first and foremost, and if you think you can handle it, you need to jump in and take the plunge. Warning…they are addictive. As usual, I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next one.

Review: Branded: Prince of the City, is the first book in Season 3, of Nicholas Bella’s New Haven Series. As the series continues, we the readers, get an inside look at the progression the vampires make adding sons to the family. We also get to see more of Dante, although, he continues to be very adamant in his denial. Noel tries to offer encouragement as well as enlighten him if he continues to defy Théoden. Dante is not at the stage where he wants to hear any of this but time will certainly show he is fighting a losing battle.

Théoden carries through on branding his sons as well as his grandsons with the Prince of the City insignia. Even though it was painful, it was a very proud moment for all the vampires involved. The chosen few will leave with King Ara leaving behind their Sire and brothers at New Haven. Kind of a sad moment as they leave and a new adjustment for Théoden to endure.

Deacon is thrilled that he has found his mate, Elijah, but that situation is also going to take some time. Elijah seems to be making it through the transformation and I can’t wait until the mating ritual takes place. Once it does, Elijah and Deacon will be bonded for life, and I am anxious to see how and if they work together.

Nicholas continues to up the ante with each episode entwining his readers more and more. The sex is as potent as ever and I can’t help but smile as Noel, no longer, has reservations getting his share. He has become quite efficient at giving as well as taking. Something that still surprises him yet no longer questions.

Nicholas brings this episode to an end with a cliffhanger (thanks Nicholas, lol) that will no doubt be huge in the next episode. I can’t wait to see what will happen as Elijah has willingly put himself in a situation he has no way of winning. You have to give credit to the humans who have the courage to stand up to their alphas even though it is in vain. They will all figure that out soon enough.

An excellent start to a new season that has many facets yet to explore and I can’t wait to see where Nicholas goes next with his imagination and creativity.

Review: For those of us enraptured with Nicholas Bella’s paranormal series, Season 2, Book 2 titled Ascension picks up where we left off in Commanded. This installment is about Théoden and his coronation making him Prince of the city. As we learned in the last book, Ara the King will be leaving to take over more properties and will appoint Théoden to rule in his place.

The night is going to be busy with many changes taking place. After the brothers wake and everyone enjoys their share of cream of wheat for breakfast, or better known as cum in the vampire world, Théoden advises them of the new changes taking place. Noel is a little confused as to, how and if, any of these new changes will be affecting him.
Marco is in charge of training Noel and shopping for new clothes. Noel is under the assumption (and we know what happens when you assume) that now that he is embraced he would be an equal brother.

Marco is shredding that theory to pieces. He continues to be the bastard we all know and love except, I don’t think Noel is loving him too much right now. He is quickly learning the ways of the vampires with fighting and feeding since their time for training has been cut short. Marco is going to be a brutal teacher and Noel will have to learn to curb his attitude or pay, dearly.

As midnight rolls around, all the vampires in the kingdom Fanart Ascension Nicholas Bellahave gathered at the King’s command. As the coronation gets underway Théoden takes his rightful place at the throne. As the Prince of the city he has a few decrees of his own he expects everyone to follow. And…if they don’t, there will be hell to pay. But priorities come first…feast and fuck. 

If you love this series for the wild, no holds barred sex, you will get it. If you love this series for the plot, the take no prisoners dialogue, you will get that, too. Nicholas, cleverly, gives us a little of everything including throwing in a little bit of mystery and suspense as they search for Dante, the wolf hybrid. I am really looking forward to see what he brings to the story and especially the House of Théoden. Will the Prince get his wolf-man? My money is on Théoden.

Each installment shows the author’s originality and imagination. Nicholas doesn’t hold back and continues to break the mold with his storytelling. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Noel and Théoden and my curiosity is really peaked for Dante. Up next is Negotiation. Could that mean what I think that means? Heh, I guess I have to wait and see.

If, by chance, you are reading this and have not read the first season, Chained in Darkness, I would stay, STOP, go back. It is imperative to read these in order so that you have the full understanding of what has taken place. Season 2, House of Théoden, starts with, Book 1, Commanded. One of the things I love about the author, Nicholas Bella, is each new installment starts off where the last one stopped. You are able to pick back up with no lost time or events. And, trust me…you don’t want to miss out on anything.

Noel has completed his embracing and has made Théoden very proud. However, the King has called a meeting of the Court, and Théoden will have to leave Noel in the care of his brothers. As the saying goes,” when the cat is away the mouse will play,” will certainly hold true as Bruce, Marco, and eventually Donovan show Noel new heights of pleasure he never knew existed.

I can’t wait to learn everything there is about him. Of course, it’s too early to make the assessment that it’s all about Théoden but one can hope…right? Oh, how can I love someone so cruel and vicious? He is one sexy, hot-blooded, vampire!! **I just looked up the definition for understatement – Restraint in artistic expression. Trust me…Restraint is a foreign word in the House of Théoden. 

Season 2 also brings new characters. Ara, King, and the sire of Théoden, may pull rank as my new obsession. He is ruler over all of the Lords and he has called the Court to his home for a meeting. We meet the other Lords, as well, and even though it was brief, you do get an idea of the personalities involved. Jealousy rums rampant between some of the vampires and their skill will be tested to the limit.

However, the King has a plan, and it is going to take each one to pull it off. He puts a lot of trust and faith in Théoden because he is his favorite and most loyal son. But, don’t be fooled by Théoden’s place in the eye of the King. He demands respect and anything less will have you re-thinking your fuck-up.

“This isn’t what we agreed upon, I pointed out.
“Times change,” Ara continued. “And, as King, my Decree is whatever I make it.”
“So I see,” I snapped. Before I knew it, he had lifted me from the chair and had me by my throat, several inches off the floor. It was impressive, as I am taller than he is by five inches. His grip was tight and painful as he slowly crushed my larynx. I could do nothing but wait for him to release me on his own.

Whew, for a moment or two, I was afraid for Théoden. But, he is a smooth talker and as even the King referenced, he is the favorite. He doesn’t hold anything back either as he pleasures his King. Review: Acceptance, Book #6, in the Chained in Darkness series, and the final installment in Season 1, brings Noel full circle exposing him to many elements of his new life. He has been tortured, raped, humiliated, torn from limb to limb, and finally branded after a long journey of lessons that bring him front and center to, the ultimate goal, and acceptance. He has been accepted by Théoden, his Master, and Father, and by all of his brothers in the house, at last.

Leading up to this moment, Noel has been subjected to many horrendous acts. Some he didn’t understand, at the time, but were finally starting to make sense. As Théoden takes Noel out, once again, into the outskirts of town, he will learn some valuable lessons as to what it means to be a vampire. A vampire that is feared and above all, commands authority.

Noel tries hard to hold onto what little human compassion he has but to no avail. He understands what will happen by not completely accepting his role as a soldier in Théoden’s house. What seems to bother him and weighs heavily on him is the thrill he gets when hunting for blood, quenching his desires by other males and lusting heavily for them. As Théoden has told him many times, it is his nature, his true self, accept him, and revel in it.

The final lesson Noel will have will be one that diminishes his spirit. He must make amends with Jonah. He must accept him as his brother. He will share desires with him and vice versa. Trying to hold onto what little rebellion he has left, he outright defies this order. And, he pays dearly for this mistake. He has learned the error of his ways. To continue to defy Théoden, on anything, will only cause him to suffer. This is a fight he will not win.

But taking the life of a child…once was more than enough to open my eyes. Then when he’s combined his other torture methods, well…let’s just say that I know my limits. As Season 1 comes to a close with Acceptance, you realize the potential for what still lies unanswered. The author has brilliantly, through 6 books, given us an inside look at the world and life that Noel, unbeknownst to him, at the time, found himself caught in. We have watched his struggle with guilt and uncertainty of his future. We stood on the sidelines as he was beaten to a pulp and tossed aside like yesterday’s garbage. Each time he miraculously fought back with abandon and won the respect of his brothers and most of all his Sire.

Nicholas Bella has held my attention throughout this entire series. There are still many things left to explore and I can’t wait to see what the next season will have. The author’s ingenuity speaks for itself with the world building he has outlined in this series. Each installment was executed effectively and efficiently giving us an inside seat to an arena full of sex, desire, greed, pain, and ultimately power.

What Noel will have to do with the power he now holds, I can only guess, but I can’t wait to see where the author takes us next. Until Season 2…Thank you Nicholas for one hell of a ride.

Review: Lessons, Book 3 in Nicholas Bella’s, Chained in Darkness, series picks up where Punishment, Book 2, left off. After finishing Punishment and knowing Lessons would be next, I was little apprehensive as to what “lessons” Noel would have to suffer through. And, make no mistake, he has suffered, extensively. His only saving grace, at this point, is he heals almost immediately from his torture (One of the perks of being a vampire). In Noel’s mind, he IS being tortured, he’s being humiliated, and he is definitely being made an example in front of the others.

Most of us know vampires thrive and survive with blood as their potent nectar and lifeline. And while that is also true here, Noel, and the others, also needs semen. Specifically Théoden’s, as his has powerful properties that will electrify and energize your whole body. So…what lessons will Noel be taught? He makes it quite clear he is not happy about his situation. He is confused, mentallfanart lessons nicholas bella noel(1)y and physically, seeing his body and more to the point, his manhood, respond fervently as he watches and listens to those around him having sex.

Théoden continues to be the evil, sadistic, bastard and takes great pleasure in making Noel an example to his “brothers.” It doesn’t matter to him that Noel is an unwilling participant. His displeasure is voiced loud and clear, when Noel tries to thwart his commands.

“Suck it, you filthy fucking bitch!” Théoden growled as he shoved his hips forward.

I felt like I couldn’t breathe, and I knew I didn’t need to, but I was too used to the sensation of breathing not to panic at this point. I pressed my hands on Théoden’s thighs, trying to rise up. Whether Noel learns anything from this lesson, and I’m not convinced he has, he does learn something about himself. His taste buds are getting quite the workout and he finds he rather likes the explosions of flavor. (Use your imagination. you’ll probably be right, lol)

“It’s time that you accept what you are, Noel. This is a part of your life now, get used to it or suffer.” Théoden looked at Bruce and nodded.
Bruce slid back down, squatting over my face. “There’s no time like the present, let me feel that sweet tongue, boy.”

Noel may be held by forces he doesn’t understand but his fiery attitude continues to show. He may go along with Théoden’s demands, but he doesn’t have to like it. But, is that really the case? Is it possible Noel enjoys, ummm, drinking, and swallowing, the vampires nectar? His brothers enjoy, immensely, taking their pleasure from Noel. They force him to do things to them that repulse him to his core.

Their sexual deviances have no boundaries as they put Noel through his lessons. Noel realizes he is at their mercy, to be used and abused, as they see fit. However, could it be that Noel is more humiliated with the actions of his body than the act itself?

As the author continues to warn us, (see up there^^) I continue to read, anyway. I need to know what is coming next and if Noel will continue to fight or give in. As with the first two novelettes, the author doesn’t cut corners or spare the details. Lessons, for me, was an easier read, (Noel notsomuch, heh), out of the three, so far. His lessons were not as painful as his punishment, but still hard on Noel, just the same.

I’m afraid to assume, however, that things are beginning to lighten up. I see traces, small glimpses, of Théoden maybe, MAYBE, having some compassion, but then again I’m sure it’s just my wishful thinking. Nicholas, also, includes more of the cast in this story giving us an inside view of what Noel is up against.

The “brothers” all connected together through Théoden, his blood and semen, are an intriguing bunch. They are egotistical, loud, brutish, and very vocal, finding their own pleasure, and shouting explicitly, for the others. Each one will use Noel as the instrument in achieving their release.

I haven’t changed my opinion that somewhere through this journey I will love Théoden. He’s evil, volatile, and temperamental. And, in his defense, he is consistent with his warnings, doesn’t waiver on his punishments, and deep down, way down, I think he wants Noel to succeed, to give in, and enjoy his new life. Only time will tell and one reason why I am compelled to see it through.

Submissions, book 4, is up next and I can only wonder if Noel will submit willingly or continue to hold strong with his convictions. Hopefully, by now, Noel has gained enough insight to go along with Théoden and if nothing else, to at least keep his mouth shut. But, what would be the fun in that?

Review: Control, book 5, in Nicholas Bella’s Chained in Darkness series brings new characters that leave you yearning for more information. You, also, see Noel with a new attitude about the pleasures he gives and receives. I think he is finally succumbing to his new way of life. Most of the time.

Never, in a million years, did Noel ever see himself in the position or situation he is in now. Théoden, as well as, his vampire brothers told him he would come to love everything in his new life if he would just stop fighting it. Of course, being straight didn’t help to alleviate the feelings he was starting to have.

Once Noel was able to submit and realize his place in the house, he became a new person. Oh, he still has his moments of defying his Master. He wouldn’t be Noel if he didn’t. However, through his torturous training, something he doesn’t want to fall victim to again, he is beginning to think before he speaks.

Théoden is proud of how his boy is coming along. He can see he is really making an effort to fit in and instead of disciplining him in his moments of forgetfulness, he just shakes his head probably laughing at his expense. Don’t think for a second that Théoden wouldn’t knock his ass across the room if he displeased him because he would and will.

Noel is headed with his Master for a night out. Dressed in leather and ready for what lies ahead this will be the first chance Théoden has at showing off his boy. I was still sitting on my knees, speechless and not even really knowing what to say. I wanted to think certain thoughts, but I didn’t want to piss Théoden off. I hated that I felt like a shell of my former self. Still, even in the midst of all that emotion, I was aroused by their presence. Review: Submission, book 4, in Nicholas Bella’s, Chained in Darkness series continues with Noel not only learning his place as a vampire but also accepting that he is, in fact, a vampire for life. Théoden continues driving the lessons home, urging him to come to grips with his fate. Noel, for no other reason than pride alone, continues to fight a losing battle. He also makes a couple of discoveries in this installment that have been weighing on his mind.

Théoden, with help from the brothers, will finally show Noel just what it means to be with a man, or in his case a male vampire. Théoden takes great pleasure teaching Noel the rules of submission. They all will have their time, learning the ins and outs (pun intended) of Noel. It will be one of the hardest things, to date, with the vampires, for Noel to admit that he likes this lesson. It doesn’t matter whether he admits it to himself because Théoden demands him to tell all how much he is enjoying their unions.

“Before this night is out, you will be begging to cum. And do you know what?”

I sighed as I arched against him. “What Master?”

“I’m going to let you. Do you know why?”

“No, Master.”

“Because you will have earned it. You will submit to me tonight, Noel.” He rested his chin on the top of my head, chuckling. “Oh I know. Even though submission has its good points, for vampires, there are still quite a few things that Noel is having trouble grasping. He doesn’t like to feed from humans, knowing the outcome, but realizes he can’t survive without them. He still has a very strong dislike for Jonah, the double-crossing weasel, but most of all, his private thoughts are no longer private.

Another mystery out in the open is what type of vampire Théoden is. This will go a long way into explaining why he is so powerful and demands respect. One thing is certain, however, he will concede and admit defeat or be severely punished. And trust me, his punishment is brutal, extremely harsh, and very effective with its intent.

“Yes, that’s it, Noel…enjoy it. Revel in the pleasure and power of your brothers. Submit to us and take your place among my children. This is what you were meant for, this greatness. My children and I are the elite of the vampire legion. We hold the superior echelon among our kind. I chose you out of so many who’d do anything to be sired by me. I chose you because I saw something in you, Noel. Something worthy and I want you to accept that you belong here with us.”

Submitting is inevitable unless he dares to challenge Théoden. Even Handsome and muscular young guy with chainNoel understands how detrimental that could be. I’m sure he will still find reasons to disagree and put up a fight for his own sanity, but I do think he is getting to a place that will offer him respite and some calm. Whether that calm will be before a storm, I don’t know.

I do know that Nicholas Bella has changed my outlook with group activities by writing some very intense, raw, filthy, and graphic sex scenes that were very H.O.T. Each time they have sex, their feelings and abilities become that much stronger. Noel is finally seeing that sex with a man is not only enjoyable but also very gratifying in several ways.

Nicholas Bella continues to hold my attention with his series and I eagerly anticipate what will come next. There was a lot of sex in Submission but it was relevant for Noel to understand the importance of not only semen but to bond with his brothers. The author writes a very descriptive narrative that demands no less than your full attention.

Even though there are parts that are hard to read, there are just as many with humor that will have you laughing aloud. Noel has been dealt a pretty rough hand but he is coming to accept that this is his life. Which prompts me to remember the saying, “It’s better to fuck than fight” something that Noel will surely attest too.

Control is up next and the title gives some clues as to what to expect. In this installment, we got a glimpse of the back history to Théoden and his bloodline. I am eager for that part of him to show its face. If you are reading this and have not read the first three, it is imperative to read in order. I strongly recommend this series if you are not squeamish, like your sex scenes to be hot and plentiful, and may or may not include a bite to the neck. Or other sensitive places.

Review: Punishment, Book 2, Chained in Darkness series, by Nicholas Bella, is exactly as the title says. Please read the warning above from the author before you start reading this series. Book 2 starts off where Embraced finished and with Noel recognizing he is in way over his head. The author doesn’t pull any punches with Théoden’s displeasure of Noel when he constantly seems to defy him. I don’t think Noel is doing it on purpose, well…most of the time, I think he is having a hard time grasping the situation he is in. Noel, as a human, was straight with no sexual interest toward another male. Now, as a vampire, he is getting turned on by Theoden, and his handling of him. All of this is new to him and he doesn’t understand why it is happening.

Theoden laid the rules out and went over his dislikes, what he would not tolerate, and his expectations with Noel. He is firm and does not waiver when Noel displeases him. So, what is a Master to do when his pet doesn’t listen? He is punished and quite severely.

Theoden is a sadistic vampire and has no compassion whatsoever. Your heart really breaks for Noel because he has no choice in what is happening. He is whipped, tortured, and humiliated in the worst way. He will face off with Jonah, the backstabbing weasel and the reason Noel is in this situation.nicholas bella fanart 4

Noel’s punishment seems never ending. Theoden promised to punish him for every offense against him and he more than delivers. He puts him through many different forms of torture. The more that is handed out, the more Theoden flourishes. He brandishes the crop with force and speed and does not let up until the air is gone from Noel’s lungs and his throat is raw from screaming.

Will Noel resign to his fate and relinquish all control over to Theoden? I don’t know, but I think the prospect of accepting what is now his new life is coming closer and closer. His punishment is extreme even for the smallest offences. He is having a hard time conforming to the demands and expectations that is required of him but with each new punishment he is quickly learning that giving in is looking better and better.

Honesty and trust are two things Theoden expects and in any normal situation that is not too much to ask. But for Noel, right now – at this moment, giving those two things freely is incomprehensible.

“Excellent. Honesty really is one of the main foundations for building a relationship. Trust is another. You can trust me to take care of you, but also, you can trust me to punish you when you disobey me. You will most likely be in pain from that solution until tomorrow night, deal with it. We have one more punishment to administer.” Theoden walked over to me, stepping over my putrid mess and caressed the top of my head as if he were petting a dog. “I would much rather enjoy the flesh of my boys, my children than torture it. Oh, make no mistake, my little Bitch. I do enjoy torturing, but there is a difference. You see, there’s pain like what you’re experiencing now, and that is necessary…and then there is pain that you will come to enjoy.”

Through his pain and punishment Noel is slowing conforming to the ways of his Master. This form of punishment is something he does not want to live through again. Learning to think before he speaks will certainly work in his favor. However, one of the few things Theoden likes about him is his spirit and smart mouth. And…No, Theoden doesn’t like him at all. If he does, which at this point I’m not sure, he hides it well.

Nicholas Bella fanart 2The more Noel reigns in his attitude, you see small fragments of concern and possibly understanding from Theoden. It makes you think that in time they could be real lovers with pleasure and desire. At the same time, I keep thinking maybe that is what I want to happen so I’m picking up things not really there. Time will tell for sure and I am definitely going to keep reading to see. I must admit that not knowing where this is heading or the direction it will take it just as addictive as the words the author has written. The situation is turbulent at best but that’s part of what makes it so enticing.

Nicolas Bella continues to hold me captive with his words just as Theoden holds Noel with chains. The dialogue is brutal at times to read, yet necessary. The author holds nothing back and makes it quite clear what to expect. The punishment is horrific but now that Noel is a vampire, healing happens immediately. A small consolation that you can’t help but hang onto.

The story line continues to flow seamlessly and the author has outlined this series with each novella. If you take the time to check out the author’s Amazon page or his website, he gives us a glimpse of things to come. Lessons, Book 3, is up next and I can’t help but think that Noel will have many to learn.

I’m honestly looking forward to the time when Noel relinquishes all control over to Theoden, if he does. Will they flourish together or am I just wishful thinking? I can’t answer that yet but I still haven’t given up on Theoden. For some reason, I still feel as though I’m going to love this evil, sadistic bastard. 😛

Review: Do you like paranormal? Vampires? Monsters and dragons? What about chains and dungeons? What about putting them together? HOT is what I think. If you like this combination together, you are gonna love Nicholas Bella’s, Chained in Darkness, series. Embraced, Book 1 starts this no/holds/barred series and you know you are going to be in for a thrill.

I had not read the blurb beforehand so I didn’t know what the storyline entailed. The cover is what pulled me in and made me want to read the book. That may appear shallow but a hot, sexy, cover gets me every time. There are going to be several books in this series and each one looks enticing and addicting.
Embraced introduces us to Noel, a human, working with a Resistance crew to extinguish vampires, werewolves, and other monsters of the same. Being double-crossed by one of his own lands him in the clutches of a very evil, sinister, vampire known as Theoden.

Noel tries to stand strong and hang onto his convictions that Vampires are the lowest form of society. The only thing he has in his favor right now is his courage and his mouth that doesn’t know when to shut-up. Unfortunately, for Noel, Theoden is not impressed with him or his attitude.

He laughed and nodded. You’ve got spirit; I like that. It’s so much more fun when I break it. Make no mistake, little boy, you are about to enter a world of pain. I am going to make you suffer for every offense you’ve given me.” His cold gray eyes scanned over my naked body and I began to really feel uncomfortable. They lingered on my dick a little longer than I’d have liked then he gave me eye contact again. “I plan to enjoy your body from sundown to sunrise. You will submit to me. Your place is kneeling at my feet; you’ll soon learn that.”

When the worst thing to happen to Noel, in his mind…happens, he is pissed. Theodon, however, has no regrets with the abuse and treatment Noel is getting. In fact, he is just getting started. He puts Noel through horrendous torment, as well as, making him do unspeakable things to his best friend.

Theodon demands respect. He demands to be called Sir, Master, or My Lord. Any of the three will do but he WILL make Noel OBEY. If he doesn’t, well…I fear Noel will be truly fucked. I don’t think he realizes the danger and the horrifying predicament he has gotten into. At an alarming speed, he is beginning to accept the blood-curdling, chilling, reality of his fate. Whether he accepts defeat or not will be up to Noel. Whether his pain will eventually turn to pleasure, I’m not sure.

What I do know is I will continue reading this series to find out. Nicholas has written an infectious first book in the Chain of Darkness series. The novelette consists of approx. 36 pages but within those pages is a lot of information. I can’t tell yet how bad the situation is going to get. I have a feeling things are just starting to get interesting.

I’m already hooked and can’t wait to start on Punishment, Book 2, to see what lies ahead for Noel. Even though Theodon is a very evil vampire and thrives on handing out pain, I can’t help but feel like I’m going to love him before this over, lol. We’ll see if my prediction holds true. This is not a love story, yet anyway. I don’t know if it will be one as the series continues, but I am more than interested to find out. I thought the author executed the plot perfectly and it flowed seamlessly giving us the introduction to the context and the characters.

If you enjoy this type of reading, don’t get turned off by cringe-worthy dialogue, go over and one-click your copy, and let’s see what happens. I think you will be just as hooked as I am. Congratulations Nicholas, I believe you have created a very addicting series. Punishment, book 2, I have a feeling is going to be quite the trip. I can’t wait.
