Blurb: Ryan Jackson doesn’t expect too much from his weekend at the Shadows and Souls fan convention in Tahoe—he wants to meet his online friends, engage in a few heated debates about the plot for the upcoming season, and maybe shake the hand of the TV show’s star, Johnny Marlowe. But his weekend goes off course almost immediately after his arrival. First, the hotel loses his booking. Then Johnny Marlowe talks to him as if they’re actual friends. And while his head is still spinning, a ghost attacks him in the elevator.

Despite fighting ghosts every week on television, Johnny Marlowe does not believe in the spirit world. He does, however, believe he should get to know Ryan better. Fan or not, the man is not only gorgeous, he’s down-to-earth, fun, and makes Johnny forget about the fake life he’s forced to lead and the ex-boyfriend who refused to participate in the charade. Unfortunately, every time Johnny tries to get close to the handsome ginger, something explodes or the earth shakes or lights blink out—and none of that is as sexy as it sounds.

Johnny doesn’t believe in ghosts, but he knows he has to get to the bottom of this haunting if he ever wants to get close to his biggest fan.

Review: Handsome, shy Ryan Jackson is disappointed that the hotel has lost the reservation for ShadowCon 2014 he made months in advance. While looking at the beautiful view of the lake outside the hotel his idol, Johnny Marlowe the sexy star of a paranormal show, walks in the door heads for the front desk to acquire his keys to his room. Upon overhearing that, Johnny has two rooms reserved but only wants one of them Ryan tells Johnny of his predicament. Johnny immediately offers the second room to Ryan since he won’t be using it.

Following Johnny into the elevator they small talk until all of a sudden the elevator completely stops between floors 3 and 4. The lights go out. Ryan searches for his cell phone and turns it on only to wish he hadn’t. There is a man standing right next to him when all of a sudden he moves in front of him. The man has one eye swollen and the other missing. Flesh is hanging off his lips and nose. The lights start flashing on and off. After the figure looks down at where Johnny is he disappears. Johnny and Ryan are both freaked out at what they saw and exit the elevator as fast as they can. Once in the room they both try to calm down and have a few lagers. Johnny asks Ryan to be his PA while at the ShadowCon. Ryan agrees.

Just as Johnny stands up the bottles on the dresser begin to rattle and the floor shakes suddenly everything stops. At the meet and greet Ryan keeps an eye out in case Johnny needs anything. One of the hotel staff informs him that Johnny can’t stay in his room because it’s not safe but doesn’t elaborate any further. After rescuing Johnny from fans and consuming any more alcohol, he tells him he’ll have to stay in his room because of what one of the hotel staff told him. They go inspect Johnny’s room and find nothing amiss until Ryan spots a ghostly figure hanging by the window. They can see his ghastly face, the rope looped around his neck, hands balled into fists and legs twitching.

Both Ryan and Johnny get out of there as fast as possible and go to Ryan’s room. Wanting to get to bottom of what’s going on they do a Google search on the hotel and find out that on Labor Day weekend 1962 actor Benson Watts was last seen at a party stumbling down toward the docks. His body was recovered a week later and ruled an accidental but the man’s family never accepted that due to the numerous bruises and marks found on the body after it was recovered. The family’s concern was written off due to how much time the body was in the water, post mortem. Albert Herzog, a Los Angeles lawyer, hung himself out a fourth story window of the hotel, there was no note left, and the family couldn’t be contacted for comment.

There were no more parties hosted at Lakeview Manor after that until it reopened in the 80’s as a hotel. Upon further investigation Ryan and Johnny discover via Google that Albert and Benson knew each other and were often seen in the others company, they even had an apartment together. Ryan finds a picture of Johnny and Christian, Johnny’s ex. No name as to who took the photo. Johnny is upset, as no one knows he’s gay but he realizes someone was watching that day as the couple was walked hand in hand on the beach during Christmas.

After getting some rest the next morning they attend the breakfast meet and greet, while on their way to the next event they kiss under a light bulb that explodes. Stewards Ryan suggests that they do a séance or use an Ouija board to determine what the ghosts wants since it seems it may have unfinished business and that’s why it’s still around. Ryan knows that Rachel, who is at the convention, is into the occult and may be able to help them. Ryan tells Rachel about the things that have happened.

While waiting for Johnny to finish the Q&A Rachel takes it upon herself to test a theory and kisses Ryan just as Johnny finishes and comes through the door. The glass shatters, exposing a hose moving toward Rachel trying to hit her. Ryan intervenes and gets hit several times until they all crawl out of the room away from it. They set up a time to do the séance as soon as possible. During the séance, both Albert and Benson show up.

Benson tells them all what happened. Steven hated Benson and killed him then Albert killed Steven for killing Benson. Revealing that Steven Snowe still torments him in death unleashes Steven’s wrath as the incense burner shatters. Rachel screams and yanks her hand away breaking the circle. In the aftermath, Ryan sees that Rachel has been cut by glass and that Johnny is putting out sparks made by the flying incense burner pieces.

This was an intense, edge of your seat read. Filled with drama, suspense, ghosts, and secrets. The details of the manifestations were downright scary at times. The séance was interesting and dangerous. I really enjoyed this book however, I found one scene that wasn’t accurate when compared to the description of the book. The ghost in the elevator manifested itself by drawing energy from the elevator and the lights, then stood in front of Ryan, and never touched him or Johnny. But other than that, it was a fascinating read.

Review: Hunter has a huge surprise in store for his boyfriend, Clay. It will take the combined efforts of friends and family to pull it off. I really enjoyed reading this wonderfully written book. I was hooked from the start to find out what Hunter’s plan was for Clay. Hunter gets a job with Digigraph and Damon and he become fast friends as well as associates. He even meets his boss Arthur Davenport when he needs a place to hold the party and Arthur let’s him hold it at his home.

There was plenty of drama all throughout. From Marlowe thinking Angelo was cheating on him only to find out he wasn’t and that Dimmy, Angelo’s brother was making plans with him to move in. To Clay introducing Hunter to his brother Jayden and his boyfriend Bryan only to find out that Bryan was untrustworthy so Jayden breaks up with him. Before the party, Hunter sends Clay on a treasure hunt filled with small gifts along the way that ends at home where he is to get ready for their date. A limo whisks Clay away toward his destination that he has no clue about. He is blindfolded then taken to Arthur’s house where Hunter is waiting to propose and marry him.

It was a fantastic read with a lot of hot sex added to the mix.

Their awakening brought about by many events, including trespassing into their territory. The result of them becoming known is devastating for all the sentient species, especially for humans. Review: This book continues where the first one ended. Drake is having disturbing dreams of a Priaxian soldier screaming out for help in a desert. Vernon, his lover also has them. The Priaxian queen sends Drake, Vernon, Jankin, Tasmeen, two Priaxian soldiers, Sern and Ryder and a servant named Braken, on a mission to earth to finalize the alliance between spiders and mammalian.

Along the way, they encounter two new enemies the priory’s, Priaxian servants who are rebelling, and the Herdsmen, an alien being who feeds on humans. We also learn the identity of the mysterious Priaxian soldier, Mara, who has been a prisoner of the Herdsmen due to being tricked by his lover and founder of the Priory’s Forgen. Mara had destroyed all Forgen’s work on how to be genetically changed to become nourishers and hid the information inside Ranjay, Jankin and Tasmeen’s son. Everyone soon learns how deadly the herdsmen can be.

Wonderfully written book that has drama, action, suspense, intrigue, and mystery all throughout. The intimate scenes between Drake and Vernon were hot. I loved how the story unfolded and the amazing details of alien species as well as the battles that took place. The story holds your attention from start to finish and leaves you wanting more. Excellent read. Science fiction fans should definitely read this story.

Review: Hunter Mathews a sexy hit man, is on his last job. When he meets gorgeous Daniel Sullivan his room service waiter the hunter becomes the hunted. Daniel has been fascinated with Hunter since he was on a special task force with the FBI to track Hunter down. After a failed poisoned cranberries from the welcome fruit basket at the hotel and a robbery attempt on the beach Hunter thinks someone is out to kill him.

Hunter’s real name is Adam Murrell. He used to be a cop until his best friend’s 6-year-old son was killed by a drunk driver. While off duty, he got the address of the drunk driver and confronted him with the intentions of killing him but decided to call in the hit and run when he turned, Ed, drunk and angry, shot him in the back with a shotgun. He returned fire and killed the man in self-defense. But the police dept. let him go.

He kept getting phone calls from people congratulating him on what he did. Then started getting calls from others who needed vigilante justice. But then bad men started asking him to take out their rivals without him asking questions. Hunter is shocked when he receives a text message of his last target, Daniel. Wonderfully written. This story has lots of drama, mystery, suspense, and action.

I loved the way Daniel slowly reeled Hunter in and finally made him see he was the one for him. Steamy hot sex was great in between all the little tid bits into Daniel and Hunter’s past. You don’t find out who Daniel really is, though you will try to figure it out, until the end. Fantastic story. I loved it.

Blurb: Home for the Christmas holiday, a gay man starts falling for his ex-boyfriend’s lover, not knowing that the relationship is a mere pretense.

Christmas is approaching, and Paul’s adopted sister Alana is coming home for the holidays. This won’t be just a regular family celebration, as she’s recently engaged and the weekend will be spent planning her June wedding with her best friends Roy and Vicki. Problem is that Roy is Paul’s ex-boyfriend, and the two young men haven’t seen each other since their very messy breakup. Nervous about seeing his ex again, Roy talks his good friend Gavin into joining him for the weekend and pretending to be his new boyfriend.

When Paul and Gavin meet, sparks of attraction fly, but Gavin thinks Roy’s still hung up on Paul. This charming romantic comedy is a funny look at family bonds, misunderstandings and the “perfect wedding.”

Review: Friends and family are coming together to celebrate Christmas and plan Alana’s summer wedding to her high school sweetheart, Kirk. Among the friends is one of Alana’s best friends Roy, who is also her brother Paul’s ex. A while back Roy told a little white lie to get Alana to stop trying to set him up on random blind dates with every gay man she met, and so now, he’s set to arrive with his “boyfriend” Gavin.

As the movie plays on, we learn that the reason Paul and Roy broke up was that Paul cheated. So when Paul is attracted to Gavin, he tries to hide that attraction due to what happened in the past. After all, as far as he and everyone else knows, Roy and Gavin are an item. Gavin and Paul bond over manuscripts, midnight snacks, a shared insomnia and trying to pull off the perfect wedding for Alana and Kirk. An all too brief but welcomed kiss sends Paul running and Gavin packing. When everyone wakes the next morning to find Gavin gone, will they blame Paul, or help him go after him?

The script for this movie was fantastic! There is the proposed love triangle, misunderstandings and obvious attraction between those three unfolding all the while there is another story running in the background within Alana’s family. And the acting was straight up spot on as well. Not the usual overly dramatic and angsty type of acting that we see in gay movies.

The Perfect Wedding was the Perfect movie! Mostly a romantic comedy with just a teensy bit of drama, a few tears and ending was a happy sigh. If you’re a fan of Rom Com Gay movies, you’ll fall in love with this one. I liked it so much. I think I’ll have to buy it.

Blurb: Mackey Sanders doesn’t do anything easy, rehab is no exception. Never one to follow orders for the sake of being orderly, Mackey needs a reason, something real, to make him agree to Trav’s terms of getting clean. Trav knows he can’t be Mackey’s only reason to rehabilitate, but before he can convince Mackey of that, he needs to get to the heart of what’s been eating Mackey alive from the moment the band left Tyson.

Can Mackey’s family, can Mackey’s band, survive the fallout of the Mackey telling the truth? More importantly, can Mackey?

Purchase Link: http://www.dreamspinnerpress.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=5491

Review: At a promotional event for the band, Mackey is violated by a supposed fan that spiked his beer. Thankfully, Trav and Jefferson get to him first and are able to conceal what happened, for now. But Mackey’s already fragile body reacts violently to the drugs slipped to him and he winds up in the hospital for several days. Trav never leaves his side, and in the end, convinces Mackey to give rehab another try.

It’s a special kind of hell for the guy who has been living a life of secrets and lies for over six years. Mackey truly wants to kick his addiction, but he wants to do it without rehab. He doesn’t want to have to face just how fucked up he is, and that is what the good doctor wants him to do. Talk about his feelings, about the things he wants to keep hidden, about being gay and addicted and about Grant.

Trav is in a sort of purgatory as well, slowly falling in love with the troubled young man who is just barely no longer a kid, one miserable day at a time. Mackey has a way of bringing out the best and the worst in people with his bleach streaked hair, haunted eyes and need to be accepted. The two have settled into an unspoken relationship of sorts, with Trav being the only person Mackey will confide in, the only person he really feels safe with. When Trav hurts himself and has his own stint at the ER, Mackey is right by his side, finally opening up to him about Grant. But if Mackey is going to beat his disease of addiction, he is going to have to deal with the demons of his past once and for all, and that includes telling his family.

While this installment starts out in a dark place, from there the content takes on a different feel. While Mackey is in rehab, trying to hide from himself, he and Trav open up to each other via text messages. By the end neither of them has out right admitted how they feel, but it’s becoming increasingly obvious they are falling in love. Trav tries so hard not to feel anything above friendship for Mackey, but that is a lost cause, you can almost see his heart being led on a string that Mackey holds fast to. And Trav becomes a lifeline for Mackey while he’s in rehab. Young Mackey has spent the last year drowning the voice in his head that tells him right from wrong, and he’d just as soon rather die than hash out the tangled up mess inside him.

With each installment of this serial, the story delves deeper into the soul of Mackey and his demons. As dark as the content is, I’m thoroughly enthralled in this story. I find myself anticipating the next installment, anxious to see where it takes Mackey and his band of misfits and his hopefully, fingers crossed, soon to be lover Trav. But I know, I know Amy Lane and I know she’s going to bring Grant back into the forefront sooner or later. Probably right about the time Mackey and Trav get comfortable with each other Grant will have some earth shattering epiphany about his sexuality. Me, I’m rooting for Mackey and Trav!

Grab your copies of this story and sit back and wait for each week’s next part, much like your favorite TV shows. It is a graphic, violent, and dark depiction of the price of fame, the ghost of addiction and how it affects not just the addict, but also the people that surround them. And I’m loving every minute of it!

Blurb: Cole Ryker has been a man on a mission since the second he laid eyes on tall, dark and dirty-talking Ross Collins. That mission? To get the macho Delta Force soldier into his bed and out of his head, putting an end to his obsession. When Ross finally agrees to a date, Cole is overjoyed – and, frankly, rather surprised. Ross is like no man he’s ever met. When one date leads to another and another, the men struggle to sort out their feelings. Ross Collins is in full command of everything in his life. When Cole Ryker hits on him – and keeps hitting on him – something in Ross is drawn to the confident fire fighter and the uncertainty that comes with letting someone else take the lead. Time with Cole is intoxicating, unlike anything Ross could have imagined. He’s falling fast and Cole is right there with him.

But everyone has secrets, don’t they? Ross is hiding the fact that he’s a werewolf, and Cole is terrified his own past relationship will ruin any chance he has of finding happiness with Ross. There’s also the matter of a man from Ross’ past who’s pretty determined to stake his own claim on the soldier. Truths explode as quickly and terrifying as a five-alarm fire, putting relationships in jeopardy and loved ones in danger. Is there an escape or will their love turn to ashes?

Purchase Link: http://www.amazon.com/Dirty-Ross-Assassin-Shifter-Book-ebook/dp/B00JOZFQPQ

Review: Ross Collins refuses to be just another notch in Cole’s bed post, but the gorgeous fire fighter is relentless in his pursuits for the ex Delta Force, sex on a stick member of the Skull Blasters supernatural team. Part of it is Ross’s fear that if anyone finds out the truth about him, that he is in fact a werewolf, they won’t be able to see past that and fear him, leaving him alone still. The other part is simple annoyance, Cole grates on his last good nerve. The problem is that Cole has, in fact, gotten under Ross’s skin.

Since that first glance, Cole Stryker has not been able to get Ross off his mind. As hard as Ross refuses his advances, the harder Cole pours on the attention. When Ross finally succumbs to the constant barrage of affection and says yes to a date with Cole, even Cole is taken aback for a moment. The first thing these two will have to learn is how to communicate. Ross wants to be cherished by his mate, loved like all the other mates he see’s around him daily. Cole thinks that if he gets Ross into bed, that he’ll be able to curb his appetite for the man, wrong! But that first kiss doesn’t go quite as planned. Still, Ross feels something there. But when he tries to slow it down and do things right, Cole bolts. He doesn’t want a relationship with Ross, just a fling, right? Or so he tries to tell himself.

This will prove to be one of the most challenging romances in this series that has more than proven it has sustenance as well as longevity. First, they must learn to talk to each other, and then they have to trust each other with the truth. Cole’s past is something he hides, runs from and refuses to talk to anyone about except his best friend. He’s been hurt, and I mean hurt bad. Ross will have to share his secret with Cole before he’s ready and the man he’s falling in love with doesn’t take it nearly as well as Ross had hoped. Cole says some extremely harsh things and pushes Ross away. When he finally pulls his head out of his ass and realizes that he loves Ross, unconditionally, will it be enough for Ross to forgive him for the words he said out of anger, fear and confusion?

Dirty Ross definitely earns its title. When these two hook up, it’s dirty dirty! But it’s so passionate and sensual that neither of them knows what to do with it. As I said, Cole has been hurt so he is not used to someone being gentle and loving, caring about his needs first. Ross has waited so long for his mate that he wants everything to be perfect. He’ll have to adjust his views on love and commitment as well, as nothing in life is perfect, and it isn’t for any of the other mates either. Can these two find the balance that is perfect for them?

I love the constantly continuing stories that flow throughout all the books in this series. Each instalment is engaging and intriguing as there are always new twists and turns. While it would seem each member of the skull blaster team and/or the shifters has a specific purpose, that purpose is ever evolving and weaving itself with the other characters in the series. New challenges, new characters and new loves make themselves known in Dirty Ross. I cannot wait for the next book in this series, seriously hoping that it’s Killian and Stone! This is the best M/M sifter series there is out there today. Simply a must read, but start at the beginning with A Marked Man (book 1) if you haven’t started the series yet.

Review:  Short, Sexy, Steamy and downright hysterical!

Miki St. John and his partner, SFPD Inspector Kane Morgan have settled into a comfortable lifestyle. Miki, Kane, Miki’s best friend Damie and Dude the dog have their own definition of family in the warehouse they all live in. First Damie drags Miki out shopping for Sionn, Damie’s boyfriend who is also Kane’s cousin, at a jewelry store. Then the two friends settle in for fish & chips for lunch. At a place they used to haunt with their deceased band mates. So the holiday, the certainty that he’s going to screw it up with Kane and missing his 2 fallen friends all have Miki in a slightly sore mood. Can the promise of an evening at home alone with Kane brighten the young rockers otherwise dreary mood?

Things are definitely looking up until Kane gets called in to work. The working doesn’t bother Miki. He can understand and loves Kane all the more for what he does. It’s the, dare I say, wrapping of Kane’s gift that get’s Miki all in a tizzy! At the end of the day, the guys exchange their gifts and solidify their love for each other that ends with Miki underneath Kane… hot, sweaty, sticky, and completely debauched.

This was the perfect addition to the Sinner’s Gin series. Just to give all us hardcore fans a little update with the goings on in the lives of our two favorite couples. Miki is one of the most messed up, comical, endearing, and lovable characters of any series I’ve read to date. The way that he and Kane communicate is equal parts baffling and beautiful. They crack me up! And the love letter that Kane wrote to Miki, but he has it shoved inside his guitar, like a little morsel just waiting for Miki to find it in like twenty years.

** Updated review to include audio review 9-11-14 **

Tristan James returns to continue telling the story of the Morgan clan and their men. It’s amazing to me how James manages to maintain a different tone and inflection for each of the Morgan men, so much so that the listener always knows exactly which character they are following. His voice and narration adds an extra edge to this already amazing series. Whether it’s the big, bad cop Kane whose patience and love for Miki is never ending. The unwavering best friend Damie. Or young, insecure and slightly psychotic Miki St. John himself. James gives each and every one of them their own distinct personality and voice that only compliments Ford’s written characters.

This audio version is the perfect addition to an already stellar series of books, I’ve both read and listened to all the books, and while they are highly similar, each version gives you a different perspective to the characters and the stories. I’m anxiously waiting for Tequila Sunrise to release on audio, and for book 4 to release on Amazon, write faster Rhys!!

Blurb: SEAL sniper, Dane Sawyer, is known as Eagle Eye for his deadly aim. He’s also good at hiding his identity as a gay Dom. Childhood trauma has led him to live and play deep in the closet. Then a bullet to his thigh lands him on leave and in the incredible hands of a hot ensign assigned to get him back in the field.

Will Chadwick is happy to finally be living as an openly gay man in the Navy. And as a physical therapist, he’s used to coaxing bad asses like Dane into doing their PT. Harder for him is resisting the temptation that Dane presents. He’s a patient and hiding his sexuality. A prudent man would keep his distance.

But Dane doesn’t know how to quit, and seducing Will has become a mission. The budding sub in Will can’t resist the Dom’s commands. If he could only make Dane see that being a man doesn’t mean hiding his true self.

Review: This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I absolutely was fascinated with this book. The first part had me in tears, the way Dand was raised. He always loved looking at the male body even at a young age. When his father saw it, then the beatings started. If his mother interfered she was hurt also, even though she did not like his interest in boys either. Dane joined the Navy then the Seals, but by the time he was in a team his father had passed.

Injured on a mission he was stuck on land until he healed. Which mean he had to go to physical therapy. Now when he got his first look at his therapist he was captivated. Will was sexy as hell. Dane had to hide a lot of his desires from the world and the fact that he was a gay Dom just made it even more frustrating. He was deeply in the closet. However he wanted Will and had decided to go after him. The only problem was Will was not going for it.

Will wanted Dane also but he didn’t want to hide. He allowed a fun weekend away with him, but when they got back he just couldn’t stay hidden like Dane. Dane didn’t want to let this man get away but he agreed that he could not come out. He was afraid of what would happen. That is until Will goes over seas to the war zone. He follows him, but then Will is hit by a bullet. He takes out the bad, but can’t do anything for Will but be there for him.

Will is in love with this man, but can Dane come out for him. I loved this story and hope to hear more about this author. It was a fascinating story that caught my attention from the moment I started reading it and kept it all the way to the end.

I would recommend reading this story if you love two sexy men in uniform, dominates and submissives, BDSM scenes, hot and passionate sex, tender glances, excitement and a touch of attitude.

Blurb: Neil Morgan knows there’s a high price to fine quality, but simply never thought of it in reference to a person. As a New York businessman, Neil must keep up appearances even if he dislikes what’s required of him. While trying to contain his shock at the activities of the local Buy Ball, a gorgeous ocelot propositions him.

Cecil Torres wants the right master and he thinks maybe he’s found the one when he stumbles upon Neil at the Ball. Getting Neil’s attention is easy—Cecil’s trained to make an entrance—but getting a smart man to agree to a risky bet is another matter. Never one to renege on a bet, Neil gladly pays the steep purchase price. Cecil plans to be everything Neil needs. And as an ocelot, no other cat is as qualified to be the perfect host, in every way.

After one eventful evening, Neil and Cecil hit a bump in the road. Can a misunderstanding of words and Neil’s error in not reading the fine print cost them everything?

Review: This is book two in this series and they need to be read in order. It gives you an insight into their world and their lives. Slaves are not considered anything but slaves. They are used and abused by many. Although there are some that are considered high-priced. They are still used sexually.Neil had been raised by parents that showed love as cruel and deadly. All he wanted was to purchase a slave to entertain the men at his poker parties given for his company.

What he finds is a very sexy little man who entices him into a little bet. A bet that if he could get him released, that he must purchase Cecil. Cecil is one of those high-priced slaves. He is an ocelot, a rare shifter. They inprint on the person they have sex with when bitten. That would be what Neil would have to do to purchase Cecil. The other reason that they are considered high-priced is because when they do inprint, they are loyal only to that person, they will do everything to please their mate, very caring, and loving. The downside is that if their mate took another lover or married it would physically hurt them. Although they will let it happen to please their mate.

Neil doesn’t touch him after the first day, until sometime later when he keeps looking at Cecil. He had bought Cecil to entertain and he did like to watch other men with Cecil but he wants Cecil also. Everything was going great till the night Cecil told him he loved him. Neil had made the mistake of not reading anything about ocelots and it almost cost him everything that was starting to matter most.

I loved this book although the idea that they are considered nothing but slaves is horrible. I also wasn’t liking the fact that Cecil was used by Neil’s friends and people he wanted to impress. That was the only part of this series that I didn’t like much. However, the story itself was a top favorite. It is told with just a hint of humor with so much seriousness. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I loved it and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Short, Sexy and Steamy… say it with me everybody… my three favourite colors!!!

Sam and Ryan have been best friends since they were children, spending every day, almost every minute together. Sam’s an only child whose parents spend their time globetrotting and attending high-end dinners. Ryan’s the only boy surrounded by sisters, but a loving family none the less. He’s been living with Sam to be closer to school, away from the drama that is the daily life of several teenage girls and truth be told, Sam thoroughly enjoys the company. But now it’s time for Ryan to go to college, and leave his best friend behind.

A frantic but fantastic moment shared between best friends ends in sorrow when words are misconstrued, and then Ryan is on his way to Seattle, and everything is left unsaid. Both Sam and Ryan are miserable immediately. They fell in love a long time ago, but neither ever spoke up for fear of losing each other if the feelings weren’t returned.

Ryan makes friends and considers dating, but realizes he can’t stop loving Sam. While Sam starts cooking school and wallows in his own misery, feeling the loneliness left in Ryan’s absence. Thankfully, Ryan will be home for Christmas break soon. But will either young man find the strength to say all the things they’ve left unsaid?

One thing O’Shea knows is how to write a great coming of age, angsty romance with lots of passion and steam. While Sam and Ryan are both a tad bit immature in the beginning, making decisions out of hurt and haste, they do finally admit their shared feelings and grow up a bit.

I loved that their first time together was all arms and legs and awkwardness, it really fed into the overall feel of the story. In the end, I was left with a sweet story about soul mates that left a smile on my face.

Blurb: Born a slave, Joss grew up alone, uneducated, unloved, and dreading the day, he turned eighteen and began servicing those who came to the brothel. It’s a horrible life for the cat shifters who have no rights and aren’t even seen as people. The only highlight is the massive parties the brothels throw once every few months to draw in potential buyers.

Joss is about to give up the dream of finding a permanent owner—the hope of every slave. But then the mystery man in the white mask buys him, turning his world upside down. While Joss should hate that, all he wants is to make Dencil happy and solve the man’s problems. Will the cost of Joss’s help be more than he can handle?

Review: This is book one in this series and they should be read in order. It gives you an insight into their world. A world that is unjust to many shifters. Shifters are not considered anything but slaves. They are used for sex whether they wanted it or through rape. Although to me even if they wanted it, it is still rape to me, because they truly don’t have any choice.

Dencil is human and had purchased two puma shifters a few years back. However, Ty and Austin have not really wanted anything to do with him. They were both mated, but Dencil was lost without them in a way. Dencil loved them but he didn’t want to be alone. So he decided to purchase Joss. Joss is a tiger shifter and although they are known for being territorial however when you put the four together, very hot. He needed Joss’s help to find out why Ty and Austin are drifting away from him. However, is he ready for those answers?

Joss comes into the home and it comes clear to him, that there are many shifters in the household. Four Doberman shifters and they have attitude. He can tell that one thinks he is the alpha and doesn’t truly think that Dencil is their boss and owner. When shifters are bought, they are to wear shock collars to control them and this is what the Dobermans were doing.

With Joss’s help he found out that his pumas did in fact love him, but they were scared. The Dobermans were ganging up on them by raping them and beating them daily. Although Joss knew something was going on, but he hadn’t known until Dencil had to go away for a day. Ty and Austin didn’t know Dencil wanted them as mates. They had believed what they were told and were scared. But thanks to Joss, they had found out that they had gotten it all wrong. They did love Dencil and want him as their mate, as they wanted Joss also.
This story was fascinating and I loved it.

Four men having sex with each other on separate occasions and together…hot hot hot!! I loved this book and cannot wait to read book two. It gave me everything I wanted in it, not just two but four sexy men, shifters, the paranormal world, excitement, action, hot sex, and dangerous situations. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading it and kept it all the way to the end.

Blurb: When Noah steps in to protect an elderly woman from being attacked by her violent grandson, he has no idea how much his life is about to change. Being stabbed by something sharp and mauled by a wolf hadn’t been part of the plan, but waking up to find his wounds healed is just the first of many surprises.

Liam is an accountant, an introvert, and a gay werewolf living in a pack that doesn’t tolerate anyone different. He’s spent his entire life hiding in the proverbial closet and staying out of trouble’s way, and he sure as hell won’t risk the people he loves by letting any of them know the secret he keeps.

But the unexpected rise of a new alpha throws his orderly world into chaos. Finding himself physically attracted to the man is as terrifying as it is fascinating, and Liam struggles to hide exactly what he’s feeling

So what happens when the pack’s new alpha turns out to be a very strong, very capable, very confident ex-Navy SEAL with a soft spot for shy bookkeepers?

Review: This is book one in this series and I can tell you that I have found another favorite series. I absolutely loved it. The characters were so easy to fall in love with. You should read this book first. Because I get a feeling, you are going to learn all about the future characters. I loved the way the words just wormed their way into my heart.

Noah was not only a Navy Seal but he was also human. Although he didn’t think about that at all. He didn’t know when he moved there that there were werewolves. He didn’t even know that they even existed. He sees his neighbor in need of some help and decides to protect the elderly woman. The boy who was hurting the woman seemed a bit off. However, he ended up killing him and getting injured. Maggie ended up saving his life, by changing him into a werewolf.

Then he finds out that the boy he killed was in fact the pack alpha, making him their new alpha. The surprises keep on coming. He had always been attracted to Liam when he was human and now even more so. He even notices that Liam doesn’t smell like the others. He has found his life mate.

Liam is a sweet and tender wolf, not a coward but very cautious. He never liked fighting. When he and Noah have sex, Noah bites him. Although at the time, he didn’t think anything about it, that is until he finds out that they are now mated. He wants Noah but is afraid of what the others would say about it. Then the dangers come to them.

The pack doesn’t want a gay alpha, but it turned out not to be the whole pack. He did have the support of many of the pack, but he still has to protect those he loves. He definitely is in love with his mate.
I loved this story. It gave me two very sexy men, werewolves, the paranormal world, excitement, new adventures, lots of action and danger.

I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: I have always been a huge fan of Cameron Dane, HUGE. I have all of her titles and I could not wait to get started on this newest release. With that said, it pains me to say I had a really hard time getting through this story. In my opinion, it was not her best work to date. There were places I felt the story was too amateurish. The storyline seemed to drag and although the plot had a suspense/mystery to it, it was a bit stifling, almost stagnant at times.

David Joyner has just been released from prison and returns to his hometown to not only make amends, but to live his life and start anew. A lot of people turned against him after many of his secrets were exposed. He came out to his family and the entire town, at the same time, after stalking an ex and then trying to commit suicide. He only wants to atone for his past transgressions, find a steady job, and keep his head down.

He did find a job at the local animal shelter but keeping his head down has not worked for him. He gets into more than one raucous in town drawing unwanted attention to himself. What he doesn’t realize, however, someone is watching him very closely. He tries to figure out, on his own, who the mystery person is leaving him threatening notes. He’s not comfortable reporting these threats because of his record. No one will believe him, so he thinks, and maybe he deserves this anyway after what he put everyone through.

Because of the turmoil David caused in the past, Ben Evans, a private investigator has been hired to follow him and see if he is, in fact, a changed man. Ben has been forced to take some needed vacation time and put his own life into perspective. He hates not being able to work or staying busy so when he gets the phone call to help an old friend he jumps at the chance. What Ben doesn’t expect is to be attracted to David, the person he is to follow.

After meeting David, coincidentally they share the same motel, he recognizes immediately an attraction. Never in his professional career has he had such feelings towards his client. He knows he shouldn’t have those feelings now but he can’t seem to pull himself back. Each day, Ben and David spend a little more time together, learning about their pasts, what they want for their future and they have great chemistry. Ben is torn with decisions he knows he has to make. The first one being he can no longer follow David and report back his findings.

Will David even want to continue seeing Ben when he find out is true purpose? How will this affect his progress with his therapy? Ben knows he has to come clean with David. He really likes him and honesty is important to both of them.

David has made a lot of progress with his insecurities and his obsessive behaviour since he has been released. This time when he messes it up, he recognizes what he’s doing and immediately pulls back. Hopefully, this will pay off for him and give him the strength and courage he needs when the person threatening him ups the ante and takes it one step further. Will Ben be able to save David or will David finally step up, do what is required, and save himself?

Even though there were places within the storyline I had trouble, this is still a good story. It won’t keep me from buying the next one this author releases because Cameron Dane is an amazing author. She writes very hot sex scenes between her characters and she doesn’t hesitate to include them frequently. In this story, you could certainly see the characters growing and reaching a different level of maturity.

For me, the prose wasn’t as tight as what I am use to reading from this author. I know what Ms. Dane is capable of, and for that alone I will always read anything and everything she releases. This story is part of the Foster Siblings series but it can definitely be read as a standalone. Characters from previous books make a small appearance but if you haven’t read the others, it will not hinder you here.

I would recommend this novel to anyone because what bothers me may not bother you. And it is, after all, Cameron Dane. Just her name alone will always pull me in, without pause, allowing me any and every opportunity to add her books to my shelf.

Review: Graham Davenport is a sexy sarcastic alcoholic that is mean to everyone. When Damon Malone tells him the night of Hunter and Clay’s wedding that he needs to sober up he decides to do just that. Three days after the wedding and going cold turkey he is accused by his brother for Damon’s kidnapping.

Upset that Damon is missing he does everything in his power to assist the police in finding Damon before it too late. Graham eventually tells his brother what caused him to change is nine years ago he told their father he was gay and wanted to go on a date with Damon. His father’s reaction was swift and cruel. He cut Graham out of everything and gave Arthur everything after lying to him about many things. Graham couldn’t leave as he was threatened that if he did his father would throw Arthur out. So he stays and tries in a vain attempt to forget Damon in making him hate him. It doesn’t work.

After sweet and shy Damon is kidnapped, tied up, blindfolded, and beaten by an unknown assailant he believes he’s going to die. He continuously thinks of Graham who he had a crush on. The kidnapper keeps telling Damon that he was trying to take someone from him, finally, after three days of torture, takes him somewhere, uses Damon’s phone to call Graham to let them know where he is after burying him alive.

This was a very intense, emotional, action packed wonderfully written book. The details of what Damon went through were horrifying in their intensity. Loved the fact that Graham changed and stayed right by Damon’s side as he was recuperating from his ordeal and finally confided in Damon as to the reason why he acted the way he did for so many years. A lot of gentle touches and kisses going on as well as hot sex scene between Graham and Damon after they both admit their feelings for one another.

After suffering through so much separately and together, I’m glad they finally got together in the end. Fantastic read.

As a Navy SEAL Goldie never left a man behind and he isn’t about to start now.

Determined to help with a situation no one will adequately explain, he is more than a little pissed to realize Aiden has been assigned to him as a bodyguard.

Aiden has suspected for some time now that he might be gay. When he meets the alpha’s old swim buddy, that suspicion is more than confirmed, but it’s his near obsession with the human that is truly confusing.

Review: This is book two in this series and I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. You need to read book one first as it gives you an insight into each romantic couple. Or I should say the wolves. It is an amazing world that you will find yourself drawn into. A world that I wouldn’t mind being a part of. The characters have so much depth and you can’t help but fall in love with each one of them. Although you might want to smack them upside the head sometimes.

Goldie was one of Noah’s best friends and also a Navy Seal. He had always felt guilty about Noah getting injured and losing his career. He wanted to visit him and see how he was doing. He was also half way in love with Noah. However, when he shows up at Noah’s he was quite surprised by the amount of people there. That and the very sexy man who wouldn’t give him any answers. He liked looking at Aiden and wanted to get his hands on the man. So talk about a big surprise when he finds out that they are werewolves and that Noah is the alpha.

Aiden is more surprised when he accidentally gives Goldie the mating bite during their first sexual time. Of course, the biggest one was that Aiden is in fact an alpha also. Now here he was mated to a human that kept pushing his buttons, but when Goldie asks him to change him, he takes him to Maggie. He didn’t know if he or anyone could change a human into a werewolf but Maggie would.

The surprises kept coming out of the closet for them. The dangers to the pack just kept coming up. Many didn’t like the fact that their alpha was gay and that anyone else in the pack was gay. They wanted the pack the way it was even if the old alpha was cruel.

I love this book, it has a twist to the story that I loved. I also love the way it seems to have just a hint of humor in it. I always love a story that can give me a laugh, as well as make me cry in parts. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I can tell that it will be one of my favorites and will be added to my library.

I can see myself reading this story over and over again. It gives you sexy seals, strong wolves, crazy friends, a quirky old woman, excitement, adventure, action, and a lot of danger. It gave me that and so much more. It caught my attention from the very first paragraph and kept it all the way to the end.

Review: Let me start by saying, I hate most urban fantasy stories. I also am not a huge fan of cliffhanger endings. That being said, I really enjoyed Part One of the Hardin City Chronicles.

Garth Sargent is a hunter. They are the guys that the police call in when shit gets real. He is coming out of a nasty marriage and just wants to be free of “The Bitch” and to do his job. A job that takes him into The Penn. A state sanctioned permanent underclass, in my mind, I wit was the underbelly of Gotham City. The Penn is also the home of Dean.

Now that I think about it, Dean makes this story for me. Everything is no new to him. Yet, he is such a gentle soul. I couldn’t blame Garth for falling. But, I ended the book not being Garth’s biggest fan. I can’t wait to One-Click Part two. Just to see how Garth gets out of the clusterfuck he has created.

The writing is crisp and had enough suspense to hold even my jaded attention.  There are several characters introduced that I would like to get to know better in future books.

If you aren’t big on cliffhangers, you might want to give this title a pass. But in its defense, the ending was at a natural break. There is no HEA or HFN, just an ach in m gut wanting everything to work out, but knowing that was/is almost an impossibility.

Highly recommend.
