Review: I really did not know what to think about this story. On the one hand it starts out that Eric is captured and tortured while on a mission. Timothy goes to take care of business on still another mission and ends up seriously hurt. He is out of commission for most of the book so the story centers on Richard and Eric’s relationship.
We have three strong men, two of who have been injured, and one who is trying to hold them all together until they recuperate. You would think after four years Richard would know Eric better than he did in the story. It confused me that he did not know how to comfort his own partner in his time of need. It was almost as if they were just starting their relationship.
Never-the-less it was a well written riveting tale of three men who struggle in the face of relationship issues and personal injuries to overcome the odds and come out stronger than they were.
Great read.
