Review: Amazing addition to the Handsome Heroes series. Absolutely loved the entire story. Very well written. An unbelievable adventure that Prince Ocen takes after being sold into slavery. His owner is a cruel man who gives him to his son. His other son Hunter doesn’t believe in slavery and helps him escape from their clutches.
Simply and amazing story of two men who are mates on an incredible journey through dangers as they try to survive. Breathtaking details and heart stopping moments along with some hot sex between Hunter and Ocen make this a fantastic read. Highly recommended read.

Review: Nice and short and to the point. The story features a very love square of sorts – Drew is on exchange studying at a uni in Australia, contemplating the ending of his friendship his closeted friend, Brian.
On the beach in Newcastle, NSW, he meets Scott the closeted surf lifesaver, as well as Chris, who works at a backpacker’s hostel. Chris and Drew embark on a platonic friendship, while Drew is busying being attracted to guys who treat him like shit and want to remain closeted.
The plot is that simple and there aren’t any unnecessary side points (great considering this is only 26 pages!). It’s an enjoyable read with some great sexual tension throughout the story. While Chris is correct, that Drew needs to change the type of guys he takes with, I think in the end we can be satisfied that despite some heartache Drew has well and truly learnt his lesson.

It was well written and a smooth read. Loved the way Josiah, a dominant and enforcer, always came to Rafe’s, a submissive, defense, and showed him how a true dominant treats their submissive. I couldn’t believe the deceit that was done to Rafe by the head of his house and a cruel man who was a sadist.
Action packed as well as mysterious at times keeps the reader wanting to know more as the story progresses. Intense scenes that sometimes leave you cringing and wondering how someone could hurt anyone like that as well as scenes that leave you smiling.
It was simply an amazing story to read from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. Highly recommended.

Especially considering he’s already been in an abusive relationship and has no intentions of allowing someone else control him and tell him what to do.
Stryker, a vampire, is hurt and devastated to learn that instead of wanting to meet him his mate runs. Stryker does the only thing he can think of, he goes after Joseph. Upon finding him, he does something he should not have done. He lies to him and claims he’s someone he’s not.
I loved the entire story. Stryker going after Joseph was sweet and romantic however, he ruined it by not being truthful from the start but I understand why he didn’t. Joseph really needed to stop running every time he got upset it wasn’t healthy for him. So glad they got together as they seemed to be perfect for one another

He in charge of housing a supposed murderer until the king’s arrival. What he doesn’t expect is for the prisoner to be his mate or a shifter. Even before he finds that out, he decides to help the man as much as he can.
Kamon is a shifter who has taken the blame for something he didn’t do and is fully prepared to die to protect the person guilty of the crime. He is stunned when he scents the vampire who comes to speak with him and discovers he’s his mate. But he knows all they have is a few days at best.
Such a wonderfully written story about two men who are deeply attracted to another. One trying his best to help prove the others innocence and the other who is stubborn and proud. I really enjoyed the details f how the book progressed especially about the crime and why it as committed. I didn’t understand how Kamon’s sister let her brother take the fall for something she did. It makes me wonder if she ever would’ve confessed to her crime if not Ian intervening on Kamon’s behalf.
I loved this story and can’t wait to see what the author has in store next. Highly recommended.

Review: This is the second book in this series and you should start with book one. It will tell you about the men and how they ended up together. I have to tell you that it was a blast to read it. Alex, who is richer than sin, could not let the opportunity pass him by. Now stuck in a blizzard away from his man, he might end up regretting that. Thank god for the strange motel but on Christmas Eve there are many miracles just waiting to happen. One especially if it saves him from his man Jesse killing him.
This was a blast to read and I look forward to many more with Alex and Jesse in them. They are a hot couple with very tempting sex between them. It was a cute little story and was perfect for the holidays. I love the magical way to this particular book and can see it become a favorite during Christmas time.

Review: This is part of a series and they should be read in order. However, they can be read alone. There is nothing better than a gorgeous human and a sexy vampire. I have always loved a good paranormal romance, but when you include two gorgeous men then I am pretty much sold. Although, I must admit that it needs a bit more to it to make it perfect. It was a blast to read.
Dillion loves Liron and wants nothing more than to be with him. However, Liron is holding back and that is because the man has a big surprise for him. He wasn’t too sure what was going on, but he wanted his man.
Liron is a vampire and has found his mate, but doesn’t really know how to tell Dillion the truth about himself. Then his evil brother abducts his mate and Dillion is thrown into the paranormal world. Talk about a big surprise.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to read the next story. It is a quirky little thing that drew me in and had me gasping for more. I couldn’t take my attention off of this pretty amazing story. The only major issues I had was the fact that it was not long enough for me. It seemed a bit rushed. I loved it though.
I would recommend reading it. It gives you sexy men, vampires, excitement, and danger. Not to mention some very hot sex that would set the sheets on fire.

Review: This is part of a series and they should be read in order. It is a fascinating world that is a blast to read about. Although the other books in this series were a tad bit different from this one, I think this was my favorite. I mean for a female the fact that a man gets to be pregnant, go through all that comes with it, is a blast for me. I love paranormals especially when the romantic couple are men and then when you add in male pregnancy I am sold. It has such a serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it, especially when Peter has the baby.
Ethan scents an animal and figures he needs to keep him away from humans. He had some surprises coming to him. One Peter is gorgeous, two Peter is a saber tooth tiger, and three was that he was majorly attracted to him. Then the surprises keep coming. Peter is his mate and he is being hunted by some extreme hunters out for game. He had lost his brothers and he was not about to lose the man he has come to love. Then there was the biggest surprise of all, he was going to be a dad.
I had a blast reading this story and look forward to reading more by this amazing author. I loved the way it came together although to me a tiger should be able to fight considering how strong they are, but I loved the fact that Ethan got to be the hero in it. A cougar is not known for monogamous relationship but he has found his one and only. This was a cute and fantastic read, that I think will entertain everyone.
I would recommend reading this, especially if you love gorgeous shifters, excitement, danger, and extinct animals. It gave me all that I could possibly want and more. It had my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

Fabio has always wanted his mate.
So much story in a small and explosive package. This was a blast to read even if it was way too short for me. However, I am glad that Peter got the perfect Christmas present ever. He is a funny little wolf with a lot of attitude. He gives Fabio hell and I loved it. Amazing story and I look forward to reading more in this series.

Amazing story with great details of the battle scenes and the end destruction. Loved that Levi still wanted Blaze no matter that he was scarred. The biter sounded like a foul creature and the zombie minions were disturbing. The hot sex between Levi and Blaze added spice to an already great story. Loved reading about the others in the Havoc Crew.

Review: Alyx Dorphlin is sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. While on the prison ship, he is handcuffed to Tor. During a riot, they escape along with other prisoners. The group begins a dangerous journey to freedom with a killer among them intent on killing them off one by one.
Fantastic story with action, drama, danger, mystery and some hot sex between Alyx and Tor. This book grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the very end. Great details of the ship going down. The perilous journey of trying to figure out who the killer is among them was harrowing. Tor and Alyx seemed perfect for each other.
Well written amazing read. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended.

Title: Fat-Free Alpha Series: Wolves of New Haven, #5 Author: Angelique Voisen Genre: Paranormal/ Shifter/ Vampires Length: Short Story (43 Pages) Publisher: Evernight Publishing (November 17th, 2014) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥3.5Hearts Blurb: Carlos Medina has his hands full controlling his unruly pack, especially when his wolves are plagued by some sort of health condition preventing them from acting like proper predators. Not that Carlos is a shining example. With his high cholesterol levels, he can’t deal with both his health and an invading enemy wolf pack.
The enemy offers a one-on-one fight to the death, and Carlos accepts to save his wolves. When he finds out his opponent is the man who shattered his heart long ago, he’s only happy to rip out Reed’s throat.
Reed Williams has always placed the needs of his pack first. When Reed sees its Carlos he has to fight, he decides it’s about time he placed his needs ahead of his pack. All that’s left is preventing his old mate from tearing him apart.
Review: This is part of the Wolves of New Haven series and they should be read in order. Each story gives you a new romancing couple but the stories mingle with the previous books. The characters are beautifully written with quite a lot of heart and soul put into them. They also usually have a bit of pain in them that will draw you to them more. These two characters in this story are great examples of that. However, there was something missing in this story to make it perfect to me. For one thing, it was way to short with me, although it did have great detail to the story. My problem was the way they handle certain parts in their lives.
Many people have lost children, some from lack of attention, sickness, cruelty and some are even loss by accidents. And many of the parents of these children work their way through their pain and some end their marriages. In this story, Reed and Carlos had to go through that. Carlos blamed Reed for the loss of their twelve-year-old adoptive daughter. Enough so that Reed had left their mating. It didn’t stop the love that they had between each other Now Reed was back.
When their enemy offered peace through a one on one fight Carlos accepts. He would fight also to save Reeds life, when his enemy was going to torture his mate and then kill him. Through all the pain that they lived, love will overcome all of it. However, for me there should have been more to the story. I admit it tells quite a bit about before the actual story really begins. However, it was a bit off to me but I still had a blast with it. It had a bit of a twist to this story. It drew me in more with each turning of the page. It captured my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I had a blast reading this book and cannot wait to get my hands the next story.
It gave me almost everything I could want in a book. It gave me sexy men, the amazing paranormal world, vampires, werewolves, excitement, lots of action and adventure, dangerous situations, crazed killers, angst, and lots of amazingly hot sex. I would recommend reading this story if you love all of that and so much more.

Review: Lord Hark is upset when he finds out that his uncle the Governor has hired Cax, a mercenary, to protect him from the assassination attempts on his life. He finds out that his servant Alisander, the man he secretly has wanted for a long time, has feelings for Cax and that Cax returns those feelings. But as time goes on, they all start to have feelings for each other. While trying to deal with that there is also the fact that someone is out to kill, Lord Hark by any means necessary.
The man behind the assassination attempts is a man who thinks his rightful place was taken from him so it’s vengeance and revenge he seeks in my opinion. There were two or three attempts on Hark’s life that were thwarted. Several fight scenes were intense.
This story is full of action, drama, and suspense. Hot sex between Hark, Cax, and Ali added a brief pause to the action of finding out who the traitor is. Good read.

Sexy Ever becomes his pilot as well as his lover as they race to the finish line while trying to avoid Ever’s dangerous ex, also in the race. They end up at King Melvin’s once all is over.
Amazing scenery of racing through dangerous obstacles they have to get through and a rescue mission for Rykna’s sister. Loved the whole story. Hot and intense sex between Ever and Rykna add spice to complete this story. Great read.

Reviewer: Prime Review: I am completely in love with this book. For one thing, it reminded me of some of my various sci-fi fandoms. Warning: obscure references ahead for those not into sci-fi. Another thing, the title doesn’t scream “sci-fi/futuristic” but it actually comes from a scene between the MCs while at a party.
I really loved the MCs, Rory MacLellan and Dr Dmitri Grigoryev. This is a world where humans have gone out to the stars to settle other planets due to Earth being completely screwed up, though people still live there. Interestingly, different cultural groups populate different planets or planetary systems. Rory is a Scot and his criminal name is The Highlander.
I’m just going to put this out there: Rory is to MM/sci-fi what Jamie Fraser is to historical fantasy. Rory even wears his clan kilt (*big smiles*). Dmitri is totally adorable, but he is also very smart and there is more to him than meets the eye. Although I did have some concerns on his mental stability, whether he was truly suicidal or just desperate. Dmitri has a kind heart and passionate about archaeology. He reminds me of the younger versions of Indiana Jones, as seen with Sean Patrick Flannery and River Phoenix. Although Dmitri is also very much sensible, something that Rory needs in a companion.
I really love the world that Nicola Cameron has created. The interstellar government is all controlling and really tough when it comes to order. The Russians are gritty groups, very resourceful and fairly much are what we see in movies that involve Russian, gangsters and otherwise. The Scots are more like the Scottish Clans of history complete with lairds (i.e. before Battle of Culloden in 1746, etc.). The society featured on Earth in Scotland is also reminiscent of 1700-1800s society. Then action between all these groups is tense and fun. Dmitri also really comes out of his shell and kicks butt at the end. I enjoyed this glimpse into the personal life/history of Rory and Dmitri.
This book, as sci-fi fan and as a scientist, fairly much made me giddy and not just because for the points I’ve already mentioned. There were a number of little Easter eggs for those that watch sci-fi, too. There was an amusing reference to Star Trek (Original Series), it’s direct but not a far stretch to make considering Rory is a Scot. Anyone who likes Guardians of the Galaxy (Groot) or Doctor Who (can’t remember the alien but all I can remember is “I give you breath from my lungs”) may encounter a familiar sounding description of an alien. Probably all coincidence, but Phaalan was a fun character for comedy relief and his brogue.
Another may be reading too much into things, but I made the connection easy enough at the end when there was a line to the effect of “let’s be bad guys”, I thought Firefly. A point that crosses both science and science fiction is the planetary hub called Sagan (i.e. Carl Sagan). Finally, the scientist in me was transported back to undergrad chemistry when I read the name van der Waal (i.e. van der Waal’s forces and equation).
An honourable mention for an incredibly important and supportive character – Molly or Molly Girl, the AI on Rory’s ship. She’s sassy and funny and sensible, some things that Rory is not. She is just as enjoyable to read as the living characters.

This was cute. Two men who usually go for the quick and easy find someone they can’t stop thinking about. It’s a short so there is not much story, but I did enjoy it. I think this could have been better as a longer book. It was enough to whet my appetite but not leave me full. I kind of want more with these two men.
Good for a little fast pick me up.

In this book, you get a much deeper dive into all things George. And I will say my mind has totally been changed and I am now a George fan. He and Jesse together are perfect. Jesse is the only person in these books that has been honest and has ‘stood up to him’. George loves that Jesse treats him as an equal. George really opens up to Jesse in this book and becomes vulnerable which makes him more human. Their love story has the potential to be life altering.
Elliott (one of George’s slaves) plays a bigger role in this book and there was a bit of foreshadowing for the future of this series I’m hoping.
I still love Daniel and Jesse’s banter…
(Jesse to Daniel) “Sounds like gibberish to me, please explain in my native tongue, not freaky speak.”
(Daniel) “What does asking nicely involve?” He shot Jesse a look. In his wildest imagination, he couldn’t imagine how the two of them were friends, or what the daunting king of the underground was like in private. (Jesse) “I’m guessing me on my knees begging, but let’s be honest, I’m not above it. I’ve done worse for a bendy straw.”
These 2 really make this series for me. I still don’t really like Rafael. I thought maybe that would change once he and Daniel were free of the mess from book 1 but I still don’t. He doesn’t seem to be great guy and I think Daniel deserves someone who treats him better.
There was more of the S&M of BDSM in this book which I don’t care for but I was able to gloss over that and still keep up with the story ok. It was pretty critical to the story toward the end of the book so it’s hard to begrudge it.
And of course, the ending leaves me not so patiently waiting for book 3, which has the potential to be the best of the series.

He’s 29, which means that the next Olympics would be his last chance to win gold. His boyfriend of two years is Tolliver, who owns the ski resort in the US where Jin trains.
Tolliver has been extremely patient with Jin. Because of his father’s old-fashioned beliefs, their relationship has been completely hidden. Worse yet, Jin’s father has arranged a marriage and Tolliver has told Jin he isn’t taking any more of their closeted relationship.
From the beginning, I found myself feeling sorry for Jin with the situation he was face with. However, I also feel sorry for Tolliver, having to be the hidden lover despite the fact that Jin feels that Tolliver is his happily ever after. I also immediately completely adored Tolliver from the outset.
This is packed with emotion, especially when Jin faces the possibility that Tolliver could die after they have an argument. A great, quick read with a very sweet and adorable couple.
