Blurb: Dear Author,

I’d always considered myself sort of asexual up until now. In high school, no one interested me and I was too busy with schoolwork to date anyway. I figured I didn’t have a big sex drive or I just hadn’t met the right girl. However, the more time I spend with my roommate, Ben, the more I’m reconsidering everything.

The more he walks around half-dressed the more I keep noticing him. Even if I am attracted to him, who I’m not sure that I am, I don’t think he would be into me. He seems like the type of guy that girls flock to. He couldn’t be interested in me, could he?

Requests: Clearly, I’m angling for a gay-for-you here, folks! It can be a double or single GFY, lots of sexual tension (please!), slow build romance, lots of heat. I would rather no BDSM but some light stuff wouldn’t bother me.

8758067Photo Description:
The photo is of a muscular guy in his early 20’s with smooth tan skin and dark brown hair that is combed back to spike up. He is standing behind a vacuum cleaner in a pair of blue boxer briefs with a grin on his face in what appears to be a bedroom and the picture seems to be candid.

This story was written as a part of the M/M Romance Group’s “Love’s Landscapes” event. Group members were asked to write a story prompt inspired by a photo of their choice. Authors of the group selected a photo, prompt that spoke to them, and wrote a short story.

This story may contain sexually explicit content and is intended for adult readers. It may contain content that is disagreeable or distressing to some readers. The M/M Romance Group strongly recommends that each reader review the General Information section before each story for story tags as well as for content warnings.

Review: Solomon, Solo, has never really identified himself as being gay. He’s never had a boyfriend, or a girlfriend for that matter. He has dated girls, held hands, and even kissed one once. But more so to fit in with what his friends in school were doing. When he gets to college, he and his roommate instantly click and become best friends. Just normal guy stuff at the start. But then Solo finds himself noticing Ben more and more, little things, like the fact that Ben prefers being naked to clothed.

Ben is an exhibitionist of sorts. At least, where his roommate is concerned. I don’t think he intentionally tried to get a rise out of Solo. He’s just not ashamed of his body and enjoys the attention that people pay it. Over time, though something grows inside him. He finds himself attracted to Solo. Where the two have always been very flirtatious by nature, it’s never been a serious attraction or invitation to Solo to pursue. But late night mutual jack off sessions and some pretty sexy dreams are about to change all that.

I’m not entirely convinced that this is a GFY story. I think this is more of a story of two young men that identify as being attracted to each other, and that coupled with the strong bond of friendship, love and trust that they have for each other already just make that next step a no brainer.

Jayson James writing style is not for everyone. It’s very raw, realistic and young at heart. While there were a few things lacking here and there throughout the story, overall I loved the way these characters were portrayed. And for the reviewers complaining about the lack of sex, you do realize that James writes Gay YA, don’t you? Not every book in the genre has to be full of lust and passion. Sometimes young men are just getting their footing and wrapping their brain around their attraction to another guy.

Great job Jayson! Loved the story, loved the cover and I can’t wait to see more from these two young men.

Review: This is just a short, cute story about friends turned lovers that need to perfect their timing.

Jago is home from college for the Holiday’s and making the pub rounds with his friends. Before leaving for college, his friend and lover Will, broke up with him and broke his heart. Now that they are both back home, Jago hopes to rekindle their romance. Jago takes a chance one night at the local pub and kisses Will, the arousal Jago’s feels just from that kiss is definitely reciprocated. But what will happen when it’s time to go back to school?

Like I said, short and cute. Jago and Will are adorable and I hope, no pray that Northcote will give them some more screen time in the future. I would love to see a full-length novel for these two. This novella was just too short!

Blurb: Samael is a centuries old archangel. Falsely accused of misusing his powers, he was banished to earth with no clothes, no money, nothing except a dagger to his name.

Brandon was betrayed by his boyfriend and is running from thugs who are going to kill him, if he doesn’t pay them twenty thousand dollars. He has no way to get that kind of money, and doesn’t know what to do.

When Samael crashes to earth, nearly landing in Brandon’s lap, things get complicated fast, flipping Brandon’s life into a chaos that he has never known. Danger and intrigue lurk around every corner, and nothing is what it seems.

Review: This was absolute perfection. It had a serious tone with a bit of humor added in. It kept my attention right from the start and my attention never left the story. It had a wonderful story line and plot, not to mention some pretty hot characters.

Samael is an archangel banished to heaven only to land pretty much into Brandon’s lap. Samael is an alpha male and a hero to all. He is loyal and honest with just a bit of anger in him. He is so easy to love with all his goodness and heart of gold. Brandon has the worst luck with boyfriends, and this time has ended him up in danger. A danger that has some pretty good shock factors. He is just as cute as can be and you want to help him right off the bat. When these two come together…major hotness.

There is a twist in this story that will amaze you. If you didn’t know you were reading a fantasy, you would actually think this was happening. It is such a believable story. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat, the only problem I had with it, was that it wasn’t longer. I want to know what happens further down the line. So I hope that Taylor will write a second book because there is many ways to turn this into a series.

I loved it and will look forward to reading it again.

Review: Anthony is getting over the death of his lover and his friend Steven has talked him into going to a shifter nightclub with him.

This is a pretty good story of shifters and other paranormal beings. There is some BDSM, lots of shifters and paranormal beings, and some pretty hot man-sex

I recommend this if you’re looking for a short fast read, paranormal romance, hot alphas, and sexy subs.

Blurb:  Note from the Author: This is a free interlude to celebrate Mac’s birthday, and will be available for download on May 15, 2013.

Sam Shaughnessy knows what he wants from Mac O’Bannon: monthly, uncomplicated casual encounters.

Mac is on the same page. For two months, they have been enjoying each other’s company, never forgetting that their agreement leaves zero room for long-term commitment.

But a visit to a local gay club during a weekend getaway in South Beach tips the scale, and it isn’t long before Sam starts showing how much he really doesn’t like to share.

Firmly placed rules get suspiciously bent, and by the end of the night, only two things are clear: body shots are conducive to extreme displays of arousal and possessiveness, and anything can be blamed on tequila.

Review: This little story is just a snack to satisfy our appetites for Sam and Mac while she wiles away on Six Degrees of Separation. We get a bit more insight into Mac and Sam’s relationship shift, and the denial, hurt and new understanding that goes with it. Any by the way, I love Sam’s possessive streak! There are more details revealed about the other characters in Mac and Sam’s life too. It’s a good appetizer, don’t miss it! You do however have to read book one, Six Degrees of Lust first.

Review: Anarchy has been the leader of hell for 100 years, when he meets new arrival Josh he finds it hard to believe that Josh could be a cold-blooded killer. Determined to get the truth, he sends Josh to his own residence with plans to sexually torture the truth out of him… and to also discover why Josh makes him feel the way he does.

Gulp, this is a hot short that has kink and sexual pleasure galore. Anarchy is puzzled about why Josh is in hell, but Josh won’t give him the full story. When Anarchy discovers the truth he has a choice of his own to make, ask heaven to take Josh and lose his mate or keep Josh in hell where he will be miserable.

Ah damn, I really don’t know how James Cox can give us a sexually pleasing story that also has a great storyline in only 22pgs. This is a really hot short where the truth comes out, forgiveness is given, Anarchy finds a mate, hot kinky sex is enjoyed and we also get a happily ever after (after a bit of despair). This is a great story that whets the appetite and satisfies it at the same time, it fulfills a quick paranormal fix while giving us a kink fix as well.

I recommend this to those who love kinky paranormals, hot kinky sex, a sweetish love story and a great ending.

Review:  I really loved this short but sweet story. This novel stars Alex Harper and Callum Winters. Alex works at an antique shop and his specialty are watches. He knows everything about them. One slow day, Callum walks in with his Grandfather’s watch. This is the moment where the story takes off.

I loved Alex. He was sweet, sensitive and had the best family ever. Callum was the bomb for me. He was a little shy since he was still not comfortable parading his sexuality around. Both main characters somehow helped and balanced each other off. The story behind Callum’s watch was tragic and sad. Callum’s grandfather (Hale) was in love with another young man named Billy. When Billy’s father caught them in a compromising situation, he forced Billy to enroll in the army and Hale to marry Bill’s younger sister, Mary. When Billy dies, Hale is forced to move on with only his memory and his new wife.

I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read a sweet little story about two couples, generations apart.

Review: The human race is now a race of soldiers sent out to fight wars for other races, as long as the price is right of course. Intelligence analyst Ilyan has predicted that those races are about to turn on Earth but High Command refuse to listen. Ilyan is forced to run and he is desperate to spread the truth so he goes to those who are on the ground, the soldiers who blindly follow orders of those that have betrayed humanity. Jadeth is one of those soldiers. Jadeth joins up with Ilyan and his small band when the unit he is with is caught up in shellfire, discovering Ilyan’s story he can’t believe the group of nutters are traveling in hostile territories spreading such an outlandish tale, until he remembers an exchange he saw years earlier. Now Jadeth is Ilyan’s guardian keeping the man safe so he can spread the story, but with High Command assassins chasing them, they both know that survival means keeping one foot ahead.

While this story isn’t M/M or a romance it does have, a kinda bromance feel to it as Jadeth gets to know Ilyan. Earth has produced soldiers for other races war for hundreds of years, churning out soldiers is humanities only commodity and they exploit it to the fullest. Ilyan has predicted where war will break out for years, always directing the High Command so they can negotiate a price but when he predicts war will be coming to Earth High Command doesn’t want to know, and Ilyan finds himself on the run spreading the word and dodging the assassins sent after him. Jadeth is just a simple grunt and when he runs across Ilyan’s group he decides to stick with them when he realizes what Ilyan says makes sense, protecting Ilyan becomes his mission and if High Command succeeds then humanity might just be in grave danger.

This is a brilliant science fiction story that has humans doing what they do best, fighting in wars. The storyline is very simple, intelligence agents predict where war will break out, High Command sends out its soldiers to fight for the side that will pay the most, but High Command has a secret, which Ilyan wants to tell everyone so they will believe when he tells them war is coming to Earth. Jadeth finds himself drawn to and protective of Ilyan, both men are straight but there is an undercurrent of admiration. This story carries you across worlds as they spread the truth, avoiding assassins and the High Command and dealing with petty jealousies but betrayal is heading their way and humanity will pay the price.

I recommend this if you love science fiction, futuristic, great characters, a brilliant story, and an ending that will blow you away.

Review:  Short, Sexy and Steamy………….. and what is that? My three favorite colors!

A short story that takes place several months after The Telling. Jay and Michael have settled into a comfortable life. It’s not without a few bumps in the road though. After Michael suffered an episode on New Years, Jay is determined to make this July 4th episode free. As usual, life gets in the way. Jay is unavoidably detained and finally arrives home to find Michael hiding in the closet. Can the tools he’s learned over the past few months coupled with his love for Michael bring him back from the brink of a breakdown?

When these two love each other it is passionate and fierce, and their latest lovemaking wouldn’t dare be any different. In a rare show of dominance, Michael takes the lead and proceeds to pound Jay into the mattress. He proceeds to f*ck Jay and the sheets off the bed, and is dangerously close to breaking the headboard and driving the mattress into the floor as well! Like I said; short, sexy and steamy!

Both books in this series so far are FREE! Grab your copy and fall in love with these characters.

Blurb: Devin Salvo has always remained three steps ahead: in chess, on the pitch, and in his love life. His every desire is within arm’s reach, except the one person Devin has always wished would be his in the end. All it takes is one conversation to open his eyes to a new possibility, one moment to change what Devin believes about friendship, love, and one person to change the rules of the game.

Sam Marshall has been fighting his feelings for his friend and roommate for two years. When an opportunity presents itself, he makes his move, only to be faced with the very real fear that what he sees in Devin, the potential waiting to be realized, may be more than their friendship can handle.

Review: Wow, this was a fun read, and the characters involved very, very interesting.

We have Devin and Michael who have been friends since kids, and are now roommates living in the same house along with their third friend Sam. Michael is the first person Dev came out to and after his family threw him out when he came out to them, Michael’s family became his. But Michael is straight and while he knows what Dev feels for him, there are some things that will never change. But Devin’s belief that one day Michael will see how good they could be together forces the latter to throw in the comment that maybe Devin’s been holding in unrealistic dreams and not seeing what’s in front of him for so long. And that is exactly how Dev’s world changes in the span of a heartbeat. The notion that he and Sammy would be good together has him reeling, but when Sam comes right out and makes his move with the most seductive way Dev could possibly think of, the fear that he might lose his best friend due to a failed relationship has him pushing Sam away and practically achieving what he so much fears; Sam feeling hurt from the rejection and moving away.

This little novella was quite fun and hilarious in its way. The main character goes from having complete control of every aspect of his life into losing it all in the span of days. Emotions going in a wild roller coaster of highs and lows and every line of the text had tension hidden in between. I enjoyed the most the fact that Sam is on his way to become a psychologist yet he loses his bearing as if he was a teenager when love and rejection take over.

I admit that there was a great amount of drama there toward the end that somehow pulled me back and the end itself was a bit hasty and easy, but the result was that I loved this story, enjoyed it a lot and I’d recommend it for those who love friends-to-lovers romantic stories.

Review:  This is a short script synopsis for a gay porno. The blurb above says it all, I can’t really add much more. The sex is quick and intense. I think if the author turned this into a full-length novel, or a novella even it would be great. There is definitely potential there for a paranormal love story. I have two words for the author though… condoms and lube!

Review:  Oh WOW Oh WOW. Into Deep waters is such a well-written heart-wrenching and breath-taking story. It is absolutely beautiful. The characters are so well done that I felt like both of them. I could feel their lust, their love, their fear, not only of the war, but of being found out and the consequences that held at the time. The story covered a very long time span (sixty years), but  not once did it get slow or  dull. I laughed ,I cried, I sighed, I cheered, and I worried ( I won’t tell  you why I worried, since I don’t even like saying if a book has a HFN or HEA) .

Now, for just a bit about the story. It starts out in World War II after Pearl Harbor. It is about a sailor Danny meeting a new sailor, pharmacy assistant Jacob. Jacob actually trips staring at Danny thus getting the affectionate nickname Trip from him. They fall (hehehe… literally couldn’t resist the pun) in love or at least lust at first sight. Jacob is two years younger than Danny. They met secretly and have sex (well fondling and kissing), until they get a leave and actually get to be alone and have sex. The war gets as heated as the lovemaking and their ship is destroyed .( I have no nails and bleeding fingers from the chewing of hoping they find  each other and at least they are safe.  So do they find each other? Do they get discovered? Just how long does their love last? I’m not telling you will have to read the book yourself. I will say this much after reading the prompt I just knew I had the end figured out had me an entire box of tissue waiting, I was wrong….

Who do I recommend this book to? Everyone!! If you like a good sweet Romance (yes, I am a hopeless romantic) with really hot mansex. This is for you. If you’ve never read M/M romance start here.  If you have ever dreamed of the perfect love and forever love… This is f or you. And it’s free so what are you waiting for… Hurry go get it…Be prepared to swoon…Kaje you have a new fan!
