Blurb: Hilton Burke might be one of the most powerful men in the world, but he can’t get what he wants the most. Every time he sees Cathal McKinley, his head of security, Hilton wishes they could be more than just employer and employee. In fact, he might be in love with Cathal, even though they’ve never slept together.
Cathal McKinley accepts how much he wants his boss, but he’s pretty sure Hilton will never date him. They come from two different worlds. Now that he has to return to Sunburst, Montana, to deal with family problems, Cathal knows there is no chance for them to get together.Hilton and Cathal spent years dancing around each other, but when Cathal needs help the most, Hilton comes to Montana to support him. Soon they’re struggling with children and an old friend who won’t take no for an answer. Finally admitting their love out loud might be the least of their worries.
Review: Cathal had pretty much hated his father when he reached a certain age, but as a teenager or young man, not everything is the way it seems. When he found out that his father was dying, he left to take care of the family. His sister had basically got pregnant, dumped the kid, then took off. Now times that by three. He had two teenagers and a set of twins, then to his surprise she was pregnant again, well we know who is going to be taking care of the little one. To top it off the man he was in love with, his boss, might just be his after all.
Hilton might be the owner of everything and richer then sin, but he has a heart of gold. And his heart is owned by his head of security. A man he has not even let on, even though they both knew. When Cathal came with him with bad news, he knew his place was with him. Now just imagine two men with no experience with children, with two teenagers, two twins age six and a newborn. Then add in Herb in the mix, and wow is this going to be one funny story.
It has been awhile since I had read a story by this author and I had forgotten how much joy I get from her characters. Herb as always was a big hit with me, and I can’t wait to see more of him and the chickens. I hadn’t expected so much drama with the little twit of a friend of his, but it was all good when Hilton put her in her place. Best day ever is all I can say. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me almost everything I could ask for in a story and quite a bit more. Although I will admit, that I didn’t really care for the cover.
Hilton was a big surprise for me and I got a kick out of him. I had a lot of fun reading this and look forward to many more books by this author. I would definitely recommend this story and can guarantee that it will be read more than once.

Blurb: Costa McQuillen has escaped from Earth, where being para-human—a Pariah—with tech empathic abilities is illegal, and marks him for extermination. Arrogant and standoffish, Costa is unable to trust anyone but is willing to risk everyone’s safety in his desperate effort to reach the planet Omoikane. His best solution, gaining passage on board the Santa Claus.
Arbor Kittering is the crew’s newest coding tech. Having spent a short time in prison for data hacking and falsifying government files, the Santa Claus is his last chance at a new start—if he can decipher the strange malfunctions plaguing the ship.
Eugene “Priest” Jones, the Santa Claus’s Head Pilot, is a bit of a scoundrel. Perpetually single, Priest is attracted to Costa and Arbor. In truth, he’d like to have both, but it’s clear even his grifting and gambling skills can’t make that happen.
Now as they all travel together, it appears Priest needs to make a choice before it’s too late as each of their lives intertwine with potentially dangerous and deadly consequences.
Review: This story was so good. Priest is his usual self when two new new people enter the ship. Arbor is a dwarf with some issues about his height and past as Priest soon learns upon first meeting the man. He is hired as part of the tech crew to help Mac.
Casto is on the run after having escaped the persecution of para-humans on earth. You don’t know completely about Casto’s past right away but it heartbreaking. He’s on a mission to save his brother but is a powerful man with an addiction to calm. Calm is a drug to suppress his abilities.
I loved this exciting yet powerful story about three men who each have issues, two need help with their issues, one needs help completing his mission to set his brother free. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s edge of your seat worthy with hot scenes and action that had me in awe.
The story flowed smoothly and I am looking forward to meeting more of the crew and seeing what happens with Poll. Fantastic addition to the series.

Paramedic Pete Adams lived through the year from hell watching his lover, Ash, fall apart, and the precarious balance between work and home is becoming more strained. His heart is always home, with Ash, but the dark side to his job is weighing him down.
Tattoo artist Ash Fagin is recovering from a nervous breakdown triggered by revelations about his traumatic childhood. His battle with mental illness is far from over, but with Pete by his side, he’s feeling good again, so good he doesn’t notice something missing until it walks right into his living room.
Ash believes he’s had enough coincidence in his life, but when a voice from the past comes looking for him, it takes the devastating injuries of the one he loves most to convince him to let a ghost become the family he never knew he wanted.
A lot can happen in six years, and Ash and Pete have seen their world flipped upside down more times than most. Being parents to Pete’s young nephew wasn’t in their plan, but life happens to them and they roll with the punches. Or at least they did, until new heartache rocks their hard-won happily-ever-after.
Ash loves Pete as much as ever—more, in fact—but Pete battles alone with a burden that weighs heavily on his heart. Ash is no stranger to dark clouds, but the secret Pete keeps from him is a storm that could break them.
Despite the fierce love that once buoyed them, they’re both drowning until a new friend throws them a lifeline. His wisdom offers insight—for better or worse, real love is rarely a smooth journey. For Ash and Pete to come full circle once more, they’ll have to hit the road and chase it.

Review: Pete is a paramedic working the mean streets of Chicago. Long and unpredictable shifts coupled with dangerous calls that sometimes leave him battered and bruised leave his boyfriend anxious and jittery. He met the super shy street artist, Ash, through their mutual friend Ellie. What started out as a roommate arrangement quickly grows into more based on an intense mutual attraction. But Ash’s past is shrouded in darkness and mystery that threatens their already volatile relationship.
What is perceived as secrets and lies slowly unravels as a darkness in Ash’s past that he’s tried hard to bury. This secret has caused something within Ash to break, mentally, sort of like self-preservation. He can’t really remember the memory, only the voice, and the same voice that sends him spiraling out of control for no apparent reason. Can Pete piece together the seemingly random clues and help Ash not only face his past, but also come to terms with it, before he loses him inside his warped mind forever.
I had high hopes for this book and anxiously awaited its release for weeks. The story started out on a high note, and I enjoyed getting to know Pete and Ash at the start. I soon became frustrated with Pete constantly assuming things, but never really talking to Ash, they’d just fall into bed every five minutes as if that were the answer to everything. Don’t get me wrong, these two had some serious steam, but at times, it weighed down the story. I thought I could see where the author was going with Ash’s story early on, and in the end, I was partially right. It was so aggravating and long-winded that by the time what should have been an “oh my god” moment came along; it was more like “it’s about damn time you clued me in.”
This is a rare novel that should have been a novella. I could have done with the condensed version or the footnotes. Sorry guys, I tried really hard to like this one, but it just fell flat in the end for me.

Blurb:Â Paramedic Pete Adams lived through the year from hell watching his lover, Ash, fall apart, and the precarious balance between work and home is becoming more strained. His heart is always home, with Ash, but the dark side to his job is weighing him down.
Tattoo artist Ash Fagin is recovering from a nervous breakdown triggered by revelations about his traumatic childhood. Ash believes he’s had enough coincidence in his life, but when a voice from the past comes looking for him, it takes the devastating injuries of the one he loves most to convince him to let a ghost become the family he never knew he wanted.
Review:Â Ash is on the mend after suffering a breakdown last year. His relationship with Pete is stronger, but they still have a long road ahead. Ash may have made it through the darkness to the other side, but it left him scared, both mentally and physically. Pete as well has suffered mental and physical setbacks causing exhaustion and frustration. But the one constant in their unpredictable, crazy lives is each other.
When their best friend and closest ally brings his girlfriend home to meet the boys, Ash will discover a link to his past he’s not sure he wants to know. And Pete is worn out with being a Paramedic. He’s exhausted and his body carries the scars of some bad calls. Just when you think that what little progress they’ve made will be shot to hell, these two will surprise you as will their unwavering love for each other.
The writing in this installment grew leaps and bounds compared to the first book in this series, for me at least. I felt more of a connection with the characters, and all the issues they faced this time they faced head on. Thinking back, perhaps that was the intention of the author in the first book, to portray some type of disconnect there so that she could morph and change the characters along the way. Pete’s character has grown up a lot due to the challenges he’s faced throughout this series. And Ash… Oh my, I think I’m in love with a crazy, neurotic, gay tattoo artist!
There was never any question that these two had some definite chemistry, and Leigh conveyed that again in Rare. There is still a lot of growth these characters have to do and I’m excited to see where they go as the series continues.
Blurb: “It’s not all about serving coffee and typing reports.”
Working for a secret organisation specialising in alien cover-ups, Connor Smith is no stranger to the abnormal or dangerous. His love life on the other hand… not so exciting. Until he reluctantly agrees to a blind date and meets the perfect bloke, Jason.
Things are finally falling into place for Connor, so of course that’s when he attracts an alien stalker.
Noah Jones, ex-alien, has been stranded on Earth and forced to live as a human since 1648. Alone and detached from the world around him, Noah has spent centuries observing and recording humankind. In all that time, he’s only experienced a connection with a human once… until he finds Connor.
Even knowing Connor is in a relationship, Noah can’t ignore their potential bond, or stay away.
While dealing with missing alien artefacts, a dangerous and shadowy group of collectors, and the ever-present Noah, Connor finds his orderly life crumbling around him. At least he still has the perfect boyfriend…
When Noah goes missing, Connor is forced to face the feelings growing between them and the mounting evidence that Jason isn’t who he says he is…
NOTE: This is the second revised/re-edited edition. It was previously published by Storm Moon Press.
Connor works for an organization that keeps track of aliens and artifacts and tries to prevent attacks. His best friend Isa is constantly setting him up though nothing pans out until Jason. On the surface Jason seems perfect. But nobody is perfect in my opinion. Then there was the mind attacks on Connor and the culprit found in Noah an alien.
Now I found Connor to be, I don’t know the word to use here, clueless, ignorant He should have known something was off about Jason. I could not believe he was that clueless consiering what his job was. it felt unrealistic to me. Noah was interesting and I liked his character. His backstory was fascinating especially his reasoning for doing what he did to Connor.
I think I would have enjoyed the story more if not for Connor’s character. I don’t think his character quite fit his job description and he left me feeling stunned at times that he could not see what was right in front of him. Never the less, I still enjoyed the story.
Connor works for a company that secretly investigates anything alien, making sure alien artifacts don’t fall into the wrong hands. But, just recently somebody is getting to the artifacts before they can. On top of that worry, Connor seems to have gained a stalker who he has a very strange connection with, is it friend or foe? Noah has managed to stay under Primrose’s radar since the company came into being, but now he has inadvertently connected to one of its workers, Connor.  Noah tries to keep clear, but it’s not long before Primrose comes for him. Will the connection between Noah and Connor work for them or against them?
This is a great alien story that has a wealth of detail, great characters and an intriguing plot. Noah has been stranded on Earth for hundreds of years, living a quite unassuming life and not drawing attention to himself. Inadvertently he makes a connection that he hasn’t felt in 270 years, he has high hopes, but then finds out Connor has a boyfriend. And that isn’t the least of his problems when he receives a visit from Primrose. Connor is shocked when something strange happens to him, but he tries to push it to the back of his mind as he starts dating a new man. Unfortunately, things become confusing for him when he discovers he has a connection to an alien and then he comes under suspicion when alien artifacts disappear from his work place and then Noah disappears as well.
Aliens, Smith, and Jones is far from the typical alien story. Noah Jones might have been found by Primrose, but they never experimented on him, okay so he went through a lot of tests but he wasn’t treated badly. I really liked the way that Primrose is portrayed in this book, although they do hunt aliens and alien artifacts it is more for the safety of the world, but without the need to experiment. I really was puzzled by Connor’s boyfriends’ role at first, but it soon began to come clear and it added a really good twist. I liked how we were drawn into the workings of Primrose and what they actually do, so we didn’t see them as the enemy.
What happens between Noah and Connor because of their connection I won’t say much about, but let’s just say that it saves both of them on more than one occasion. The action is well written and I liked how the mystery was done. There is some betrayal and a really horrific time in store for Noah at the hands of unscrupulous characters.
The sex in this book is really hot and it is intense when Noah and Connor finally get it together. Â Their connection is something that is quite beautiful. There are some times when anguish and fear shine through and the descriptions are impressive and you can imagine just how emotionally painful it is.
I am going to recommend this one to those who like clandestine agencies, aliens, secret agendas, alien loving, a great storyline and a happy ending.

From Venice to Vienna, from Tuscany to Turkey, from the South Pacific to the seas off Sicily, join in the heroic adventures, hunky sex and hot, high-octane action of Fathom’s Five.
Review: Wow, this book was a fantastic read. It felt similar to the Indiana Jones movies. Action packed adventure and suspense with some very skilled sexy men. This book travels all over the world as the characters are treasure hunters. The different cities were breathtaking. The sex was hot and steamy though there wasn’t a lot of it.
The characters are Luca de Roma, an Italian model, Dr. Eden Santiago, Brazilian Biologist, Shane Houston, cowboy, Will Hunter, college student, Jake Stone, adventurer. These guys were amazing and had me wishing I was with them as the traveled.
I really liked that each of the five were introduced and that their skills and background were included. The characters seemed to come alive as the story progressed leaving the reader wanting more and more. You will be holding your breath, gasping, and sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.
Can’t wait to see what happens next. Simply an amazing book that definitely should be read. I loved it.

Oliver and Samuel’s relationship is fairy-tale perfect. They share a gorgeous house in Antwerp, go out with their friends every weekend, and count down the days to their dream wedding. But their happy ending is shattered one late night, and just like that, Ollie is left bereft and alone.
The months that follow are long and dark, but slowly Ollie emerges from his grief. He even braves the waters of online dating, though deep down he doesn’t believe he can find that connection again. He doesn’t think to look for love right in front of him: his bisexual friend Thomas, the gentle giant with a kind heart and sad eyes who’s wanted him all along.
When Thomas suddenly discovers he has a son who needs him, he’s ill prepared. Ollie opens up his house—Sam’s house—and lets them in. Ollie doesn’t know what scares him more: the responsibility of caring for a baby, or the way Thomas is steadily winning his heart. It will take all the courage he has to discover whether or not fairy tales can happen for real.
Blurb: In a life time of yes, no is the sexiest word he’s ever heard.
After one too many misunderstandings with the law, wealthy and spoiled David Beauchamp finds himself chained to the city by the GPS and alcohol sensor strapped to his ankle. Awaiting trial, cut off from usual forms of entertainment, he goes looking for a good time—and winds up with his hands full, in more ways than one. The situation only gets more complicated when he’s summoned for a random drug test and comes face-to-face with the dominant man who took him for one hell of a ride the night before.
Probation Officer Tai Fonoti is used to handling other people’s problems, but he’s horrified when one of the extra clients his boss dumps on him is the sweet piece of ass he screwed the night before. It makes getting a urine sample a pretty loaded situation. Tai’s unique brand of discipline has Beach craving more. But while Tai relishes laying down the law in the bedroom, the letter of the law stands between them and kinkily ever after….
Review: David has done many stupid things in his life and they always ended horribly. After a coma, broken leg and looking at jail time, I think he has hit rock bottom. Now he is stuck wearing a monitoring bracelet stuck on his ankle and a probation officer. Doesn’t stop him from going to a bar and drinking a coke. Nor does it stop him from getting a little action. He is behaving but damn it is hard. Then he finds out that the sexy man from his little night was no other than his new probation officer.
Tai wasn’t sure whether he was more shocked or the man standing in front of him was. His one night stand was none other than one of his cases. His job was on the line and so was his heart. He was a dom and he has found his sub, now if only they can keep it from the higher ups from finding out.
I am not one for BDSM in my stories but sometimes you find an author who can write it well. I am not completely sure if I liked it in this story or some of it. The caning was a little over the top and so was David’s reaction in someways I think. I definitely know that I did not care for his best friends boyfriend, that guy was an ass. David can screwup with the best of them, but his heart is in the good. I enjoyed the overall story line quite a bit. It gave me everything I could want in a story, and lets just say I hope his father gets it in the end.
I found myself enjoying this story more than I thought I would. It was very entertaining and I loved David the most. Tai was a bit harder on him then I thought, but hey it is David’s idea.
I got a blast reading this and can’t wait for the next book.
Blurb: When successful fashion model Fabio Bonardi discovers his first wrinkle, he knows it’s time to move on to Plan B. He is tired of the loneliness and drama of the modeling world, so he enlists shy financial advisor, Edwin Zachary, to help him start a business. Edwin is the first man who sees something beyond a pretty face in Fabio, and the connection between them is immediate and surprisingly deep. But insecurity, fear of rejection, and the fact they live on opposite sides of the country make pursuing a relationship challenging. Before they can figure out the details, a mysterious stalker tries to drive them apart. Then Fabio disappears after a photo shoot, and both men face an unexpected battle for the lasting relationship they both so desperately want.Â
Review: I really don’t know how to take this book. I really am finding myself at a loose end, trying to figure out what to say. This is book nine in Serena Yates’ Workplace Encounters and can be read as a standalone book, as none of the books have any plot or characters in common.
The story is about Fabio, a model who is beginning to worry getting old and wrinkles (well, one) at 28. Finding that it is time to retire from the modelling gig, he is ready to move onto some other business plans. He just needs a financial advisor to advise him about what investment or what business he should start. This is where Edwin steps in. He’s a bit of a whiz when it comes to business and it is his job to help Fabio set up a new one.
I think that my problem with this particular book is that it has all the plot devices there set up for what should be a cool book. There are a couple of strong MCs, who also happen to be hot. There is some mystery and danger. There is more than enough drama. And the last, but not least, the spark between the guys is strong. However, for me, these plot devices are not used to their full advantage and so in the end the story falls a bit short.
Blurb: Dra’Kaedan of Leolinnia was born with a mark of Fate proclaiming that someday he would be the Grand Warlock. Standing in his way is Carvallius of Mallent who is desperate to rule the warlocks. His granddaughter Latarian has little magic so Carvallius concocts a plan to kidnap Dra’Kaedan to steal his power. After carving spells into Dra’Kaedan’s back, he begins life anew as Latarian’s familiar whom she calls Ayden. With no memory of his past, the pair are shuffled off to a cottage while Carvallius enlists the help of a brutal elven tribe to rob Dra’Kaedan of his future title. The tactic backfires, and the Coven of Warlocks is destroyed.
Minutes after Brogan shifts into a dragon for the first time, his best friend is banished from their court. Loyal to the core, Brogan follows Aleksander through the castle gates of their old home. Fate turns Aleksander into a king and Court D’Vaire is established. Considered cursed by dragonkind the D’Vaire’s are ostracized. After six centuries of loneliness Brogan leaves his family desperate to find his mate. He has no idea Fate has intervened and sent his other half right to Aleksander’s doorstep.
As a familiar Ayden struggles between a voice inside him that insists he is something more and Latarian’s stringent set of rules. He finds himself torn as he and Brogan try to find common ground. Can the pair find love and will Dra’Kaedan find out his true destiny before it’s too late?
This book has been extensively re-edited and has a new title. Previous title:Â Grand Redemption.
Review: *For those who might wonder Dra’Kaedan and Ayden are the same person, it’s all explained clearly in the first chapter how it came to be.
Dra’Kaedan’s, warlock, life is hell under Latarian’s rule. I really could not stand the spoiled, irritating, ungrateful brat who only thought of herself and enjoyed inflicting as much pain as possible on Dra’Kaedan. I seriously wanted to do her bodily harm as the story progressed. Getting to know the D’Vaire clan was a delight. Each character added to the story as it progressed. I loved Dra’Kaeddan’s sarcasm and wit. I was extremely happy with this story.
This was an amazing story about deceit, lies, love and rising above the evil in their midst. Brogan, a dragon shifter, was unsure about Ayden and ended up insulting the man he thought was a familiar. I felt for Ayden and wanted to slap Brogan for his unkind words at first. Despite the angst they got to know one another and fell in love. When Ayden falls ill after their mating ceremony accusations fly around and Latarian blames Ari, a visiting warlock.
I truly enjoyed this wonderful story from start to finish. If I could have given a higher number to the rating I would have. It was dazzling tale of how different races can come together for the greater good and how evil will not win in the end. I will say I’ve read all the way to book eight in this series and it’s my all time favorite series to date. So many wonderful characters are throughout as they each face their own struggles within each book. There are many aspects to these books that had me enthralled from the beginning. I love reading about the characters that I know and the new ones introduced.
I implore everyone to read this fantastic series you won’t be disappointed with the action, drama, suspense, mystery, romance and angst that are in the books.
Blurb: Aloysius, the magical black cat and powerful witch’s familiar, isn’t afraid to go into battle to protect his master, but the outcome of the fight turns his feline world upside down. A direct hit of magic steals not only his memories and power, but even the body he’s lived in for several centuries. When he wakes up naked on the floor of a veterinarian’s office, it isn’t as the cat Aloysius, but as the sixteenth-century French gentleman Alain Bellarose. And when Alain sees sexy and enigmatic veterinarian Luke Elliott, he decides he’ll make the best of his time as a human.
Luke is a man with secrets who generally prefers the company of animals—though the flamboyant boy who washes his face with the side of his hand and tries to lick his own privates might prove an exception.
Meanwhile, Witch Master Killian Barth and his secret weapon, Sammy, struggle without Aloysius’s power to draw on. Two evil females are circling, and seeing the coven’s weakness, they’re about to move in for the kill. When Alain’s memories return, he’s faced with the ultimate dilemma: protect his community or stay with the man he loves.
Review: Aloysius is a beautiful and very powerful familiar to an amazing witch. He would do everything to protect those he loves. Then a evil witch’s hit knocked him out. Killian and Blaine rush him to a nearby vet only to loose him. Well I wouldn’t say he was lost, he was hiding in the closet. Not only was he hiding but he was also human and had no clue to who he was. However there were instances where he felt like he would. The good news is the vet was one hell of a sexy man.
Luke had grown up with a mother who thought she was a witch but of course no young man would believe. He was about to get his eyes opened wide for he has found himself falling in love with a man who had also been a cat.
With the man looking for Luke and the two witches going for the coven, it would seem that they were in need to have the cat back. This story has one hell of a twist to it. Aloysius as a cat and Alain as a human, he has no memory of his past. However his past is quite unique as it is. And Luke doesn’t want to remember his own past. Alain has fallen in love with Luke but by staying human it could cost Killian and his coven their lives. Hard to figure out which way to go.
Excitement, danger, sexy times, magic and great friends are just a hint of what comes in this story. It is an amazing journey and I can’t wait to read the next book. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.
