Blurb: Two men surrounded by misunderstanding and danger must find the strength to show each other and the world that they belong together and will fight for their bond against those who wish to destroy it.

Micah Sanders has been in love with the Warrior, Sashan, since he was a boy. But the strong, quiet Katrian shies away from him, making Micah believe his weak body and childhood illnesses are keeping them apart.

Sashan is a troubled Katrian who has lost his way. Emotionally scarred, he hides from the world and the one man who could complete him, feeling unworthy of his mate.

When Micah is kidnapped, will Sashan find the strength to rescue his mate, discover what the City plans next for the Katrian people, and learn who the monstrous traitor is behind all their troubles? Most importantly, will a seemingly unworthy Beast finally find the redemption he seeks in the arms of his love?

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Sashan has stayed clear from the Katrian village out of shame, only going back when he has to or to check up on his mate Micah, the mate he feels deserves better. Micah has wanted Sashan for as long as he can remember, but the big Katria always avoids him, so now Micah decides to take fate into his own hands. When Micah is kidnapped and severely injured, Sashan has to face his fears and accept what fate has offered him.

This is a fantastic continuation of Outside The City, it begins 15years after the Dome has fallen and stays with the storyline of the Outsiders and the City Dwellers, and giving us added information about the truth behind the City. Micah has longed for Sashan since he realized he liked boys, now 21 his brother Lucah convinces him to provoke Sashan into a reaction, but it doesn’t work out as planned and Micah is kidnapped. Sashan has steered clear of Micah because he feels tainted by his past, when Micah is taken, he has to put aside his fears and claim Micah as his mate, having to trust in Micah not to turn from him. The kidnapping reveals a traitor in their midst’s and a secret that shakes the foundations of all the Outsiders.

I loved this story, not only do we get to see previous books characters; it also introduced new characters in the shape of the Wolfric shifters, and gives us a surprising twist near the end which opens us the storyline to the Wolfric shifters as well. Micah is a wonderful character who suffers greatly in this story; Sashan is the typical alpha male, thinking he is protecting those he loves with his distance, but both characters together can heal each other from their pasts. They are hot together, complement each other in personalities and troubled with their own fears but determined to do what is best for the other

I really enjoyed the storyline, plot and surprises thrown our way, I found the addition of the Wolfric clan wonderful and I think they complement the Katria wonderfully, I am hoping to see more of them in the future… maybe a story for Alpha Jethoro *pretty please*. This storyline has become more evolved which means that we can expect some more wonderful books in this series… at the least I expect Lucah’s and maybe Callum’s stories, with the hope of others **chants* Jethoro, Jethoro Jethoro*   .

I recommend this to those who love shifters, science fiction, surprise twists, hot sex, great characters, danger, soul-searching and a very happy ending that leaves us with a hint of the next book.

Blurb: John is on a dangerous negotiating mission for MI6 in Tajikistan. He meets freelance photographer Scott, but their casual affair ends when John is injured and disappears. Scott can’t forget him. He tracks John to a sleepy little village in England, determined to take their relationship to a new level.

John Jones, aka Aidan Whittaker, a negotiator with MI6, is currently on assignment in Tajikistan, close to the Afghanistan border. Overtly on a University-run archaeological site, he’s covertly brokering a deal with local tribal leaders. His undercover mission is complicated by the arrival of a couple of Americans; journalist Brent Babcock and his photographer Scott Landon. The two men are there to document the ancient Silk Road, but when Babcock gets wind of a hot news story, he starts asking awkward questions.

Scott Landon is a different kind of trouble for John. Fourteen years John’s junior, gay and single-minded, he wants into John’s bed. Not being prepared to jeopardize his operation, John rejects him, despite being drawn to the younger man. But then events around them spiral out of control.

Review: John Jones/Aidan Whittaker is on a negotiation mission.  His plans begin to be derailed by Babcock who is sticking his nose where it could cause trouble. Scott just wants to take pictures… and get in the hot archaeologists bed.  But he gets more trouble when his boss Babcock arranges a meeting with a local tribal leader.

This is an interesting combination of settings.  You have the first part of the book set in Tajikistan near the Afghanistan boarder; which is dry, dusty, dangerous and fraught with tension.  Then in the second part of the book you have the quaint village of Avebury, Wiltshire in England; which is green, lush, quiet and fraught with murderous stories of the long dead.

In the first part, we have John Jones MI6 Negotiator who is trying to broker a deal with some of the tribal leaders. His cover is that of an archaeologist, complications set in when a reporter turns up sticking his nose in where it’s not wanted.  Add his photographer, who John feels an instant attraction to and this mission is in serious danger.  There is danger, a rescue mission, hot sex, a parting of ways and a gun-fire fight which ends with John’s life hanging in the balance.

In the second part we have Scott Landon, photographer, who has been affected more than he thought over what happened to John.  He starts to investigate when he realizes that all may not be as it seems and it leads to the discovery of Aidan Whittaker, expert of Ancient Languages and Literature and an archaeologist. From then on we see Scott’s pursuit of Aidan as he tries to become friends and something more.

This is a brilliantly woven story about two men who get their wires crossed.  Both of them thinking the other doesn’t want them when they both actually want the same thing. We see Scott trying to get through to Aidan that he wants more than just quick sex.  While Aidan thinks that Scott couldn’t want an older man with a damaged leg who just wants to settle down in the little village he found.

So this is a great book that has a little of everything for everyone, danger, tension, hot sex, gun-fights, slow romance, quaint setting, local hauntings and nosy villages… oh and keep an eye out for the cat TBC (That Bloody Cat) that does battle with Aiden every chance he gets. I highly recommend this one, so get this book, read it and enjoy.

Blurb: Two men with walls of ice surrounding their hearts must learn to look past the masks each other wears in order to discover the love of a lifetime that waits hidden inside.

David Talhoone’s whole life revolves around taking care of his special needs older brother, Sammy. Untrusting, he protects his heart with an icy and cool demeanor, earning him the nickname Ice Prince at work. It’s a description David’s proud of, until the day his boss’s son walks through the door.

Nick Masterson takes one look at the cool beauty with fire in his eyes and has to have him. But after being brutally rejected, he makes a bet that he’ll be able to melt David’s shell and win his heart without managing to give away his own in the process. But Nick didn’t count on the man beneath the icy mask being everything he’d ever wanted in a partner.

Can a relationship based on lies last once the truth finally comes out?

Purchase Link: https://spsilverpublishing.com/melting-the-ice-prince-ebook-p-1413.html

Review: David is responsible for his special needs older brother, Sammy, he has done everything he can to protect them both after their horrible childhood and that includes ensuring nobody can hurt them emotionally, his icy persona keeps people at bay until his bosses son, Nick, walks through his office door. Nick has been burnt by love in the past, now he is a ‘love ‘em and leave ‘em’ man, but when David rejects his advances out of hand he accepts a bet to melt David’s icy shell, but getting to know David and his brother Sammy convinces him to take a chance on love again, but the bet is hanging in the background. Can Nick make David believe in his love when the truth comes out?

This is a lovely novel that will touch your heart with it’s emotionally punches and its simple sweetness. David adores his older brother, Sammy, even though he has to look after him, after a horrendous childhood with their father, David took guardianship of Sammy and has never looked back, Sammy’s gentle childlike sweetness more than makes up for any hardship they have faced. Holding people at bay is a way to protect both of them, but Nick works his way into their lives and into David’s heart and shatters David’s trust. Nick pursued David on a bet, after being shattered by his ex’s betrayal Nick didn’t think anything of it, until he got to know the kind, sweet, sexy man beneath the icy persona and knows that he has to come clean about the bet, but he leaves it too late.

Oh. If ever there were characters that you wanted to take home and mother, then David and Sammy are it, David is a wonderful character who always puts his brother first, opening his heart to Nick was hard for him, but when he does, he embraces what they have together. Nick is callous when he first meets David, but as he gets to know the real David his heart is unprotected and he can’t help falling in love. Even though this is a romance story Sammy is still one of the main characters and you can’t help but fall in love with his childlike delight and wonder, we also take their neighbor Ms Petty to heart.

I loved how this story was paced although the ending felt a bit rushed, the storyline is really good and the characters are wonderful, there are many emotions that roll around in this story and you are there every step of the way. I would love to see all these characters again in the future

I have to recommend this story to those that love simple romances, adorable characters, trusting again, hot sex, betrayal, forgiveness, and a very successful conclusion.

Blurb: Sean and Nicholas are getting closer and closer as they work with their respective partners, Jubilee and Kieran. In this tale, they tackle an unusual nemesis, a gay serial killer, and the death of someone close to home…

As Kieran and Jubilee struggle with the state of Texas over their desire to adopt Juan, Sean and Nicholas go undercover in an unusual and dangerous assignment, posing as potential boyfriends for Trendon Patrick, a serial killer with a difference. Patrick has a taste for law enforcement types, and counts on their in-the-closet status to stop them from reporting his activities.

When he abducts Sean, he seems to know all his secrets and fears… including the time a pedophile tried to abduct him when he was nine.

Meanwhile, Nicholas has his hands full too, protecting a witness to murder. Except the witness is as wacky as they come. He thinks he’s a vampire and insists on being called Prince Vlad…

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Sean and Nicholas are getting closer and establishing a relationship, Jubilee and Kieran are still struggling to adopt Juan, and the cases at work are still coming thick and fast. Sean and Nicholas are bait for a serial killer, Trendon Patrick, with a penchant for gay law enforcement officers, and as they close the net, a startling discovery is made. A strange witness who needs protection leads them to a chilling discovery and it is a race against time to find two young disabled girls.

This story continues with the developing relationship between Sean and Nicholas and their cases within the Marshals department. Sean and Nicholas are as we remember them; their relationship is still developing with Nicholas still holding himself back while Sean embraces their relationship fully. The cases they encounter in this story has them both thinking about what they could lose and brings them closer together, when Nicholas faces a loss Sean is there for him when he needs him most. Jubilee and Kieran are more in the background in this installment but they are still around in a more supporting role.

This story is well written and even though all the cases are over quickly they are still vastly entertaining, I now look to this series for my drama/crime/soap opera fix as nothing on TV is as entertaining *g*. We are thrown straight into the action with the trap for Trendon Patrick, but it turns out to be much harder than they thought when they discover a surprising twist and a mole in their ranks, it then moves on to widening their trap, which goes horrifyingly wrong. Discovering that the Righteous is still worming its way through Texas leaves a bad taste in their mouths and they have to move fast if they want justice for one of their own. There is much going on in this story that is exciting, but the underlying thread is the relationship between Nicholas and Sean and how t is developing.

I will recommend this to those who love sexy Marshals, great cases, betrayal, murder, near death experiences, sweet loving, relationships deepening and a happy for now ending.

Review: Dax is a police detective and an alpha wolf; he is currently trying to find out the reason why three black bear shifters were murdered. With no clues and completely stumped Dax turns to his ex-lover Adin to see if he could shed some light on what is happening to his fellow black bear shifters, Dax finds that his feelings for Adin never faded and as the murders continue Dax has to try to rein in his possessive, protective nature. Adin’s always regretted that things didn’t work out with Dax but he refuses to be ordered about, when Dax turns up asking for information on bear shifters Adin and Dax burn up the sheets but the problems are still between them. When Adin comes into the killers sights Dax sees for himself that Adin can take care of himself and the two come to a happy medium.

This is quite a good shifter story with some great background and insights; the story is well written and quite enjoyable. I liked the characters and the storyline and also enjoyed the fact that there was no insta-love or fated mates, it was just two shifters who were attracted to each other compatible in bed but seemingly incompatible out of bed. Dax is pure alpha and wasn’t able to control his need to protect what is his, Adin is a bear shifter who has always taken care of himself put the two together and you have smoking hot sex but a clash of personalities. There is a killer silently killing bear shifters for their own twisted revenge and it is the catalyst that drives Dax back to Adin. While trying to catch a killer Adin and Dax’s explosive relationship reignites but they still have issues to overcome if they don’t want it to splutter out.

This story is actually written from three perspectives Dax’s, Adin’s and the killers, so we can see everything that is going on. The relationship between Adin and Dax is explosive and they are fantastic together in bed, but out of bed, Dax has to get a grip on his instincts because Adin won’t be coddled. You get a great feel for both characters and what they both feel and how they both struggle with Dax’s protective instincts, their relationship isn’t perfect, but this time they are willing to try. The killer is someone who you, in a way, feel sorry for, they have been through their own hell, it has twisted them, and that shines through from the killer’s thoughts and feelings.

I recommend this to those that love shifters, a twisted killer who is determined to get revenge, two shifters who have to work through their instincts, hot sex and a great ending.

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Jubilee and Sean are called to help the FBI and the Texas Rangers to search for a woman missing for several years. But, the betrayal of the law enforcement finally makes Jubilee realize he no longer belongs. Kieran and Nicholas are assisting the Canadian’s during an investigation into the Mounties. Jubilee and Kieran are struggling with their separation and make plans to finally put the adoption issue to rest.

Another great installment of Orgasmic Texas Dawn with our favorite Marshals and the struggles they are facing. This story is from Nicholas and Sean’s perspective and it switches between the two easily. we see a lot more of Trace, as he deals with the fallout of protecting Marco (the horny teenager from Winter Frost) and we see Kieran’s and Jubilee’s solution to their problems. The investigations are, as always, interesting and exciting with the two main ones being Nicholas and Kieran’s Canadian investigation, Sean, and Nicolas’ investigation into a woman who makes her men turn to crime.

I enjoyed this story, although I was sad when I realized that Texas still had its head up its ass and it looks like we have said farewell to two of our sexy marshals. I can only hope that a miracle happens and we will still get to follow their adventures. Sean and Nicholas are especially hot together and their relationship is moving forward in leaps and bounds. Trace starts to play a more forward role as he gets dragged into protecting Marco from his father, Trace also finds that happiness come out of it and Marco begins to grow up.

I recommend this story to those who love Marshals, great exciting investigations, cute kids, colorful characters, hot sex, new beginnings, and happy endings.

Review: Jackie was exiled from his community and is forced to live on the streets. Struggling to survive, Jackie is taught the tricks of the street by Solo who takes Jackie under his wing. Jackie and Solo develop a friendship that seems like it could be more, but then Solo disappears and Jackie plods on with his survival. When Solo reappears, he has an offer for Jackie that Jackie doesn’t want to refuse.

This is a great story of two young men who meet while living on the streets. Jackie was tossed aside when he refused to sleep with his communities’ leader. now living on the streets of the city he is struggling to survive. Solo takes Jackie under his wing teaching him all he needs to know and a friendship develops between them, Solo doesn’t hang around though and they see each other in passing. When Jackie tells Solo, of his previous life, it gets Solo thinking and he disappears.

I liked this story for its simple storyline of two men struggling on the streets and trying to make their lives better. Jackie is a really nice character who has been dealt a rough hand and is now learning to live on the streets. Solo is a great character who ran away from home and is living off the grid. He has his own secrets and when he meets Jackie, it sets him to make some long-term decisions. They fit quite well together, but neither knows what to expect. His friendship starts out as support for another homeless man and Solo always manages to help whenever he can. Their attraction isn’t instant, but develops well. Solo’s secret is a surprise, but works well and their relationship jumps forward when neither of them has to worry about the streets and safety.

I recommend this to those who love struggling young men finding their way, discovering love in friendship and a happy ending that is quite pleasing.

Review: This is a dark, edgy, and often times uncomfortable murder/mystery. The author takes you on the dark and seedy side of the city known as the Combat Zone to locals. You’ll walk along side prostitutes, murderers, sociopaths, cults, cops, and political activists. See this world through the eyes of a Dom/Domme drag queen and the murderer himself. I like a good thriller, especially if I’m kept guessing whodunit, and the puzzle pieces were fed to us one at a time throughout this dark and dangerous story. If you like, dark and edgy suspense…this book is for you! There are a few hot sexual scenes, but this is not a romance, it’s a murder mystery thriller, and a good one.

Review: Sleep, Beauty, Glass, Snow are the titles of the four fairy-tales that have been re-written with a unique modern day twist. In Sleep, we have Prince Tristen cursed to sleep for a hundred years until his true love (Jae, a photographer/journalist in a sports car) re-awakens him and his kingdom. In Beauty, we find Finn who loves to cook, traded to a beast for his father’s life who discovers the heart beneath the beast, Prince Samuel. In Glass, we have Payne who is sick of being treated like a slave and wishes for a better life and meets his very own prince, Hayden. In Snow, we have Mason who loves to snowboard, his stepmother tries to be rid of him, Mason discovers seven snowboarders, and one of them is his knight in shining armor.

Each story we read gives us a unique modern twist, each story is changed slightly to fit more into modern times but sticks to the fairy-tale love. With Sleep it begins in the traditional setting with the birth of the much longed for child and the curse that was uttered at his birth celebration, fast forward and we have Jae who is sent to discover the truth about a sleeping kingdom. It’s a very sweet story, although you have to question the stupidity of someone trusting a stranger who promises to make you ‘feel good’. The sweetness of the story comes from Jae and Prince Tristen getting to know each other before getting their happily ever after.

In Beauty, it really stays with the traditional story with the generous youngest sibling Finn, the more selfish older brothers and sisters and the slightly bumbling father, and the horrific beast. So not much to add to it other than it was sweet.

In Glass, we have a thoroughly modern update including mouthy fairy godfather, foul-mouthed CinderFella, Payne, hunky Prince Hayden and very selfish stepmother and stepsisters. Very fast moving storyline in this one with Payne and Hayden discovering an instant attraction and connection.

In Snow, the story is twisted with Mason’s prince charming being one of the snowboarders, the evil stepmother not giving a damn about anything but herself and Mason’s father, James, just wanting the pair of them to get along. It’s a good story that has its bones in the original but swerves away from the original enough to give it a fresh twist.

Each story has sweet lovemaking in it, happy endings and perfect couples, so this is one you want to read if you want modern twists to your fairy-tales but some originality laced through them, with loads of hot men and sigh worthy endings.

Review: A fun and unique twist on classic fairy tales. The author not only successfully turned the main characters in to m/m romances, but did an interesting and sometimes humorous, sometimes edgy job of weaving contemporary settings and scenarios into our favorite classic childhood stories. You’ll never think of Snow White the same way again!

Question: What’s a vampire to do when he’s arrested by his sexy, straight police detective mate?

For Bryce Denahli the answer is simple. Stalk the man.

Lucas Ford can’t get the vampire out of his head, and after weeks of fighting himself, he tracks the vamp down, causing things to come to a head. Unfortunately, Bryce’s life is put in danger because of Lucas’s actions. Can Lucas reconcile the thoughts and feelings he now has towards a man in time to save the vampire’s life?

Review: Bryce is surprised when he is arrested by his mate, his decidedly straight acting mate .but; he doesn’t let that get to him and decides that he will stalk the man. Lucas can’t get the vampire out of his, especially seeing as he sees him everywhere he goes. He decides to confront the sexy vampire and his actions cause problems for Bryce. Lucas has to get his head around his attraction to the man, before it is too late.

This was an interesting paranormal story, but I found it hard to believe the romance. Lucas was attacked by a rogue vampire and now months later there are more and more deadly rogue vampire attacks. He and his work partner are tasked with finding out where the rogues are coming from and stopping the problem. Bryce is trying to stop a fight in his club when he is arrested. He knows instantly that the cop is his mate and is disappointed that the guy is ignoring him. Lucas has a hard time fighting his attraction to the male vampire and he is confused by his feelings, he isn’t gay. Bryce is happy as he claims his mate, but devastated when he is then rejected. Merrick has to interfere to get the two men together before the worse happens.

I liked the paranormal aspects of this story and was pleased to discover more about the rogues in the city. Bryce and Lucas’ relationship isn’t easy and I like the way that Lucas didn’t fall at Bryce’s feet. Bryce’s stalking was a little creepy and I was disappointed that neither character tried to get to know the other until it was nearly too late. I found it really hard to accept the relationship. Bryce never approached Lucas to try to win him over and Lucas would never have approached Bryce the second time without Merrick’s encouragement. I found it really hard to believe that Bryce just gave up and was willing to die and wouldn’t have even told Lucas it would have caused Lucas’ death as well. It was just wrong. So was Lucas’ abrupt turnaround. he was so deep in denial and then suddenly he was all over Bryce, it just didn’t fit.

I will recommend this to those who love vampires, paranormal, rogues, hot sex, and a happy ending.

Part of the Silver Publishing Father’s Day 2013 collection.

Review: Henry and Jack shared a brief kiss in the trenches the night before Jack was to go ‘over the top’; it was the last time Henry saw Jack during the war. Eight years later Henry is a solicitor again, he is a widow and he has an adorable daughter but his years at war still haunt him. Henry meets Jack again by chance, Jack is now a balloon seller with an injury of his own and with his own nightmares that still linger, rekindling their friendship is hopeful but they both have a long way to go to recover from the war.

This is an interesting story of two men meeting in the trenches finding fleeting comfort during horrific times and then reconnecting years later. Henry is a solicitor who nearly lost his foot to trench rot during the war, even now, he suffers from flashbacks and nightmares. For one of Henry’s cases he has to speak with an expert on shell shock and it just might help him to understand his friend Jack’s actions and his own difficulties. Jack made a choice he has to live with, but when he meets up with Henry again he has to confess and can only hope that Henry will forgive him.

Although I liked this story I thought that it was in the wrong collection, we do see some of Henry’s daughter and there is some interaction between father and daughter but there isn’t enough story surrounding them for it to really be a ‘family’ story. This is much more suited to an ex-military – suffering the after effects of war collection. I liked the trenches setting and the descriptions of what they were facing, I really liked the flash backs and how it affected Henry’s everyday life. G.S. Wiley certainly captured the truth of 1918 France and 1924 England with its harsh truths of how the troops and returning heroes were treated. The difficulties that Henry and Jack faced are stark and so is their hope of any semblance of a relationship, no matter how they might hope otherwise, but it is still something they will hope for.

I will recommend this if you love World War I, friendship, love, hope, and a happy for now ending.

Blurb:  Channing and Jon’s marriage is tested when Jon suggests they adopt a baby. Channing struggles with indecision and a lack of confidence in his abilities to raise a child–again.

Channing, nutritionist and personal trainer, loves life with his husband of four years, Jon, a pediatrician. Jon surprises Channing with a desire to adopt a friend’s baby and Channing is thrown into a tailspin of indecision.

Channing already has a child–a twenty-year-old daughter whose transition from childhood to adulthood brought difficulties and pain for both. He struggles with the choice between making his husband happy by parenting a newborn or being satisfied with the experience he already has where the worst perils of fatherhood are already behind him.

Channing has to choose whether to ultimately break his husband’s heart… or go after a complete love he never knew could exist.

Reviewer:   Pammie

Review:  Channing is thrown into a complete tailspin, when Jon casually announces over lunch that he wants them to adopt a baby. Channing has already raised one child. A daughter conceived when he and a friend were exploring their sexuality. He was assuredly gay, she straight. They remained friends, and Channing took his role as father seriously.

The first thing in Channing’s mind is re-living how he and Jon met. The next is visiting his daughter, Audrey. To his surprise, she’s delighted at the prospect of Jon and him adopting a baby.

Channing is still in turmoil when he arrives home, unsure whether he wants the responsibility of a child for a second time. Jon welcomes him home, but when he proposes a toast to the new baby, Channing blows.

However, his anger pales in comparison to Jon’s.  Jon storms off to bed, leaving Channing stunned.

By the time Channing is ready to go to bed, hours have passed. Channing has analyzed everything about their relationship, and his role in raising Audrey. However, it’s his response to seeing Jon in bed that makes him realize that their relationship isn’t just one thing or another; it’s a whole thing – complete love.

I felt more for Channing than Jon in this story, but then it was told from his perspective. I could empathize with his shock and insecurities, the way adoption was dropped into his lap. The epiphany he has when going to bed seemed a little out-of-place, but I liked that their love is strong enough so that Jon, although upset, doesn’t turn Channing away. A short, sweet Father’s Day treat.

Blurb: The last thing rock star Channing Anderson can handle is being in a relationship. But when the father of three takes one look into the deep violet eyes of his sons’ dapperly dressed tutor, he instantly changes his mind.

Divorced rock singer Channing Anderson is looking for a tutor for his five-year old triplets–Dominick, Destin, and Drake. They boys are a handful, and it doesn’t help matters Channing is a soft touch. He never had time for them when he was on the road and left most of their rearing to Addie, their mother. Addie left him for another man, gave him custody of the boys, and went on about her life. Channing’s sister, Virginia, thinks Channing is in way over his head. Along comes an English-born valet to put some order into the boys’ lives and a second chance for love and family in Channing’s heart.

Review: Rock star Channing is getting desperate, his son Dominick has been kicked out of yet another school and there are no more schools to turn to in the Greater Boston area…public or private. Virginia (Channing’s sister) comes up with a plan to hire a tutor. Broderick (Brodie) is set to make a new start in America. Discovering that he will have three charges instead of just the one he was told about might be a bit more challenging, but he thinks he can manage just fine. Channing is swept away from the first second he lays eyes on Brodie and sets about coaxing the sexy tutor into his bed. Brodie isn’t sure of his feelings though and Channing wonders if he can pursued Brodie to make their family complete.

This is a wonderful family story that warms the heart as you see the perfect family coming together. Channing came out of the closet after his divorce, his ex-wife walked out on him and their children without a backwards glance. But, being a rock star and a parent is a struggle especially when one of your children are commonly viewed as Satan’s spawn. Taking the chance on an overseas tutor, Channing comes to realize that Brodie is a blessing. Brodie embraces his new job in America, and falls hard for the father. But, his sexuality confuses him and he doesn’t want to risk the well-being of Dominick, Destin, and Drake, when he has just started making progress with them.

I enjoyed this light-hearted, feel good family story. the triplets are absolutely gems, each child unique in their own way, but oh so loveable. Channing is a wonderful father who is having a bit of a time of it and who finds himself attracted to Brodie. Quickly falling in love with the man as he gets to know him better. Brodie sweeps in like Mary Poppins, nothing ruffles his calm, and he soon puts the triplets in their place. Falling for their father wasn’t in the plan and he is really sweet as he tries to figure out how he really feels. Addie (Channing’s ex-wife) is an extremely nasty woman and you are actually glad that she left the children in the first place. The writing is pretty good and the relationship was okay, it didn’t quite rock my world though.

I recommend this to those that love family stories, three cute cherubs, a rock star and tutor falling in love and a very happy ending.

Blurb: Quiet, reserved Derrick has never had a date. That doesn’t stop him from wishing and dreaming, especially when he’s working a boring shift at the coffee shop. On a cold, rainy evening, the shop is deserted, and Derrick daydreams about his fantasy boyfriend, Rory, a fellow university student. Derrick doesn’t know much about Rory. They’re not in the same classes. They’ve never even talked.

When Rory is his last customer of the night, Derrick comes face to face with the man of his dreams. The real Rory is even better than the fantasy and he wants more than coffee… he wants Derrick. By the end of his shift, Derrick will find out if all his fantasies can come true.

Product Link: https://www.allromanceebooks.com/product-wishfulthinking-1213368-145.html

Review: Ah, this little short was too sweet and adorable. It was all about this freshman college kid named Derrick who is extremely shy. He’s been having daydreams, night-dreams, and all sorts of fantasies about Rory, a very cute guy he keeps seeing on campus, but never had the courage to actually go and talk to. He’s wanted to ask him out forever, or would have asked him if he ever found it in him to overcome his shyness.

So, there he is trying to spend the time in a very slow shift in the coffee shop where he works, when a bit before closing time a last customer comes in. And who would that customer be, but the very man who haunts his dreams and literally every waking minute. Rory, making Derrick’s heartbeat go frenzy and tying his tongue up in the most embarrassing way. But, little did Derrick know Rory’s true cause for entering the shop this late rainy afternoon.

As I said, too sweet, too adorable and extremely frustrating. You see this story focuses only on the fact that all that wishful thinking Derrick has had comes true when Rory makes the move Derrick has been dying to. It’s all about how these two lovely characters make the first step toward a date. The end. And I’m left there hanging and wanting more because I liked the writing, I liked the approach. I loved the feeling I got from Derrick and the way his oh so adorable reactions were described. In the end, I wanted to damn well read Derrick’s and Rory’s story. So please, pretty, pretty please, dear author write it for us and give us the pleasure of actually experiencing this lovely couple.

As it is, with the above in mind, I’d recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind the cliff-hanger

Review: Oh damn, where to start and how to begin.

Well, if I had only one word to describe this book then that would be (excuse the language) a mind-fuck. Yes, that’s what this book is for me. I mean here the author took this character, young, hot, “white-trash”, from a completely fucked-up family, who ran away and became a hustler and was in a dead-end life, and created a brilliant story that you can’t help but inhale whole non-stop till you reach the end.

The blurb says a lot and honestly I don’t want to say more about the plot. I’d rather stick in the feelings I got out of this book. and boy were they plenty. First of all I want to stretch the fact that while there is mention of love in the blurb between Hylan and Josh, that love was brilliantly worked in this book.

There are no declarations here, no big sappy dialogues. Hell, I don’t think there were many dialogues between the pair. It was all so very pragmatic, so freaking realistic and the only way you know Josh loves Hylan more than anything is from actual deeds. and that made it all the more beautiful to read. Even their sex scenes were Oh My God real. Not in erotic and sexy and gets-you-horny kind of way, but in a more profound and bah… There are no words. Bloody brilliant that’s what it was and excuse my repeating myself.

The entire story was told by Josh and the way it started you know something awful has happened. But, it isn’t until the end that you realize, you really get what it was that Josh was saying when he began this story. And it was at that point that the author – God I wanted to smash him, yes the author, at that moment- literally performed this huge mind fuck. Up until that point – somewhere about 85% of the book – the story was engaging, it was an I-can’t-put-it-down kind, while not overly intense. it simply did not let on what was about to happen. You simply read on and waited for that awful thing you know from the beginning it is about to happen.

So, it’s like listening to this guy (Josh) telling you of his past, laughing at times and shaking your head at others. You get to meet all this guys he shagged and some incidents were hilarious, others plain sad. Some characters made an impression and others simply gave me a heart-squeeze. You get to see Josh slowly driving himself into another dead-end. You get to see things are not looking so good for him and his days as a trophy boy are coming to an end with a dark future looming all over the place, and then, just then a little bright sunshine-like hope peek around the corner and the big events of take place and everything, everything changes. You know it will happen, you’ve been expecting it, yet it still hits you –I’ll use a line from the book – like a Mack truck. And no, it’s not only that one twist there, it’s not only one bloody hit you get. The author decides to simply keep on going, and no matter how satisfying the end result was, I still think it was very sadistic on his part (the author’s) to play us like that.

Bottom end, this is not your everyday romance, this is not your everyday fiction either. This story is like taking a peek out there in the lives of real people in the real world and I simply loved it. Give it a shot, well worth it.

Review: Literature professor Anderson has a standing Friday night date with his dad, Jazmon. This week though, he is running late and when he arrives he makes the devastating discovery of his father’s body. Homicide detective Leo is taking the case; Jazmon had been a friend of his. Finding the killer is his first priority, but he has a fierce attraction to the son, Anderson. Anderson and Leo are thrown together when the killer seems to be targeting both of them. They also have a mutual attraction to work out, as they become close the killer gets more daring and it ends up with both men fighting for their lives and their love.

This is a great mystery, suspense story that has loss, love and hope threaded throughout. Anderson is smart, sexy and suffering from a devastating loss. Leo is dedicated, hot and suffering the same loss. Both men come together in a time of need and while Leo is stumped in his investigation he becomes close to Anderson. Anderson finds it hard to believe the sexy detective is serious about him and tries to shield his heart. But, when Leo is in danger he realizes he has to take a chance. Leo just wants to find the killer of his friend. He doesn’t want it to overcast the relationship he wants to have with Anderson, but his own feelings might just drive them apart.

I really liked how this story was written and the mystery of who the killer was and why. I must admit to constantly thinking back to the opening scene and wondering what part it played in the story. Anderson and Leo are great characters who both deal with a lot as they tentatively embark on a relationship. Both of them unsure of what the other really wants from them. Then we have the hunt for the killer and the mystery of why he is killing his targets and why Leo and Anderson are in his sights. It has just the right amount of puzzle so you try to fit the pieces together and you end up with a strong idea of who the killer is. But, the reason has you scratching your head until it is fully revealed.

I recommend this to those who adore mystery, suspense, hot men fumbling with a relationship during trying times, high tempers and confused feelings, hot sex and sweet love and a very climatic ending.

Review: This book is part of a series and must be read in order. Pascal and London are digging deep to pull together the Vampire, Werewolves and humans to prevent the splintering of Spectrum. But, they seem to be fighting a losing battle, when the violence seems to be getting worse. When London is taken and tortured by the rebel vampires, Pascal thinks it’s all over, but just as Pascal is about to exact his revenge, London rises. Now, Pascal has London back, but London has no memory of them being together. They have bigger problems to face though, Spectrum is facing all-out war and Pascal and London must protect the innocent. Now, they just need to convince the werewolves to join them of face losing Spectrum for good.

This is a great addition to the Spectrum Skies series, with tension between the races and the unknown of Pascal’s and London’s relationship. Pascal and London are still deeply in love struggling to find snatched moments together while Spectrum goes to hell. But, when Pascal’s enemies try to destroy that love by taking London, they discover Pascal isn’t a tame vampire… at all. Fighting for his love and to keep the peace, Pascal will do anything for London, even if it means giving him up.

The situation in Spectrum is heading for war; no longer are some species happy to live in harmony. Some humans want control over the paranormals. Some vampires want to dominate Spectrum and some demons are looking for free rein from the underworld. and caught in the middle are London and Pascal with their band of officers.

I loved how this story was developed with London becoming something different, but his personality reverting back to how we first met him. Pascal being heartbroken, but refusing to give up and both of them facing the possibility that the Spectrum that they have always known being lost to them. We discover just who has been creating all the trouble in Spectrum. We have a standoff, loss and destruction and the determination of a vampire to win back the man he loves.

I will recommend this to those that love paranormal conflicts, twists, loss, love, vampires on the brink of war, dealing with demons and a happy for now ending.

Blurb: When Jack Campbell is unceremoniously dumped by his long term boyfriend, he knows a fresh start is in order. Against his better judgment, he heads to Marbella to take a job house-sitting, but finds pleasure, rather than business, waiting for him.

When Jack Campbell is dumped in favor of his high school best friend, he decides he needs a fresh start. He spies an advertisement in The Times. Clark Thomas is looking for a house sitter for his villa in Marbella. In a slightly inebriated state Jack sees this as the perfect chance to get away from his troubles but when he lands in Spain, he finds a lot more than a job opportunity waiting for him.

There must be something in the Spanish air; the heat is doing strange things to Jack. He’s behaving in ways he never has before and certainly never with an employer, but knowing what he’s doing is wrong doesn’t stop it from feeling right.

Review: Jack needs a break after his ex-boyfriend dumps him. applying for a house sitting job he spotted in a newspaper, Jack is now heading to Marbella for nine months and wondering if he has done the right thing. Clark is still out of sorts after his own breakup and although Jack isn’t the usual sort he’d hire to house sit, he does so because Jack’s side note made him laugh. The attraction between them is mutual and Clark briefly shows Jack around, but nothing can come of their attraction as Clark is jetting off and Jack will be house sitting. But, the attraction is stronger than either thought.

This is a great hot novella that scratches several itches. Jack has shaken up his life now that he is single. Rather than hanging around moping, he has an opportunity to have the time of his life in Spain and it starts just after he has landed at the Spanish airport. Even though it is far from his normal behavior he seizes the moment, but wishes he had the chance to clean up before he meets his new boss. Clark is pleased with Jack and can’t help but offer to show him around, although it is something he has never done before, and it isn’t long before he can no longer resist and acts on his attraction.

Jack and Clark seem to be great characters. the story is set over just a couple of days so we don’t get to know them well. They connect to each other very quickly and they do spend time getting to know each other a bit, but it is very sexual between them and when it comes time for Clark to leave neither of them wants it to end. It isn’t an instant love match, but it is the beginning of something between them. I will admit that Douglas Black has a way with his characters, even the ones on the peripheral like the woman on the plane, she was a hoot. There is a brief sexual encounter between Jack and a random stranger in the airport, but the encounters between Jack and Clark are way hotter.

I will recommend this to those who want a touch of storyline with a potential relationship, with hot sex and a happy for now ending.

Review: Edna loves her son to bits, but he still lives at home and is shy. So she takes matters into her own hands and places an ad for a soul mate for her son, Jovan. Gemma adores her son, Galen, but he is a worrywart and tries to look after his parents constantly. When she sees an ad placed by another mother she answers in the hopes of distracting Galen and finding a bit of space. When Galen and Jovan met the sparks are instant and the pair click, but Galen’s own penchant for shiny cars and a conniving ex-lover nearly ruins their perfect match.

This is a great little cutesy story of opposites attracting and interfering mothers. Jovan is shy, hardworking and has few really good friends and he still lives with his parents. He doesn’t want to leave them alone and he quite likes having his mom look after him. Galen is successful, energetic, high maintenance and loves looking after his parents, he cooks for them and cleans and visits them every day. When Galen and Jovan meet they are perfect together, Galen has someone to look after and share things with and Jovan has someone to look after him and spend lots of time with. Their parents are ecstatic that their boys have found the perfect partner, but Galen’s ex-lover turning up nearly wrecks what Galen and Jovan are building together.

I did enjoy this story, Galen and Jovan’s instant attraction to each other was hot and both their parents are wonderful if a little interfering. Although the storyline moves quite quickly it’s a simple boy meets boy, boy falls for boy and begins to have a happy ever after when boys ex turns up trying to tempt boy with shiny toys, boy does something stupid and learns his lesson. Both Jovan and Galen are excellent characters, with their love for their parents shining through and the rapid development of their relationship was actually perfect for them, their sex life is very hot and Galen really does like to switch it up.

I will recommend this to those who love soul mates meeting, hot sex, making mistakes, forgiving the one you love and a nearly perfect happy ending.

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Tristan is just days away from giving birth. Ushna is overjoyed that Tristan has agreed to bond with him and they are both still dreading heading to Georgia and the Elder Council. Bahbelle becomes a trial for Tristan as he faces down the Elder Council, sets forth the fate of those who attacked him and his pack, stumbles across a hidden prison and faces the loss of everyone that he loves.

Holy cow, this series just keeps getting better and better. This story picks up where Dreams of the Forgotten ends. There is a brief summary covering some of what has come before, but all the books do need to be read in order. Tristan and Ushna are looking forward to bonding now that Tristan has accepted that they are meant-to-be. They still mourn the loss of Brian (Ushna’s twin flame) and they begin to understand that what is between them was always meant-to-be. But danger comes when they are in Bahbelle, Georgia. On top of the challenges they face with the Elder Council and Tristan’s claim and pregnancy, Tristan makes a choice that could just permanently separate him from Ushna and a surprising twist awaits us all.

Lexi Ander has done it again. She has swept us along with her paranormal beings, taking us to a fantasy world and dropped bombs into the storyline that shocks and astounds us. The beautifully created paranormal world we find ourselves in is beautifully described. It draws us in with its imagery and heartfelt emotions, with its epic storyline and brilliant characters. The scenes we find ourselves in are amazing, standing with our enraged Xenres (prince) in Lupe form awaiting his orders when his beloved is endangered. Or the soul crushing fear as we face a mythical creature. I honestly can say that this series is actually just one epic fantasy/paranormal with twists and turns and new discoveries that has your breath hitching and gasping in shock. It blindsides you with new details and has you desperate for the last two books… well, although I really want to read them and enjoy them, I am filled with trepidation that this incredible fantasy world would come to an end.

I recommend this to those who love incredible fantasy, brilliant world building, fantastic characters, danger, love, hot sex and a brilliant continuous storyline.
