Bryce pushed open the door, prepared for another snotty pen pusher like Taylor Cufflinks the Third, or whatever his stupid name had been. Because of that, it took him a moment to process that he was seeing what he thought he was seeing and that he hadn’t found himself in the middle of a really good dream. Except if it was a dream, presumably this guy would already be naked rather than pouring himself a cup of coffee while dressed in a crisp white shirt, open at the neck, and gray slacks that should have been illegal given the way they clung to the curves of a frankly spectacular ass.
If Tom Barrington was a pen pusher, it was a pretty heavy pen he pushed on a regular basis because those were definite muscles betrayed by the fit of his shirt. His hair was dark and just a little wavy, his cheekbones were sharply defined beneath flawless skin, and there was the suspicion of a five-o’clock shadow on his jaw, which somehow emphasized just how strong that jawline was.
Bryce was still staring when Tom looked up and gestured with the mug he was holding. “Hope you don’t mind,” he said, then paused.
Bryce was aware that he was being studied in return and stood a little taller, opening himself up for inspection by rich brown eyes. It seemed Tom liked what he saw, because he looked for longer than was strictly polite. Bryce grinned at him when his eyes returned to Bryce’s face, and Tom suddenly looked away, biting his lip slightly as if he’d been caught doing something he shouldn’t have been. Even that didn’t stop him sending another look sideways at Bryce, and the combination of that with the way his teeth were sinking into his plump lower lip had Bryce’s stomach tightening with arousal. This security check might be a hell of a lot more pleasurable than he’d figured. And he was not thinking about Tom Barrington and body searches in the same breath, because that wasn’t helping things settle down in the least.
“Sorry to have kept you,” he said, and sat down at the table. “I figured you’d be another twelve-year-old.”
Tom stared at him, and then he grinned. It was a really good look on him. “I forgot—you had Bressingham visit you, didn’t you?”
“I wondered if it was ‘take your son to work day’ but mom or dad got lost en route,” Bryce said.

Review: The sexy wolf pack from Elk Ridge returns in a political battle between members of the National Council wanting to control the only known Argent, and the struggles Matt faces in deciding to get the upper hand in letting people know about Jesse. As part of this whole struggle, Bryce Reynolds, Matt’s second, has to handle security screenings by political aides before some high-ranking council members come to visit.
All this hassle becomes even more of a problem when Bryce is immediately drawn to Tom Barrington, the aide sent to do preliminary work, and Bryce makes an offer of a no strings attached fling. This book wasn’t as violent as some of the past, and maybe it contained a bit less angst, but I liked the political thriller bit. A smooth read and a fun series.

I always can lose myself in one of her stories and this one didn’t disappoint me. I loved it and I loved Cody. This is my favourite instalment in the XYZ stories thus far. There is a lot of meat in this story with the past and family issues Everett brings to the table. And Hennessee visited all those issues. I as well loved the descriptive and the scene she set at the camp out for Everett’s first time as a bottom. It was honest and magical.

Brishen is one of four ancient werewolves who has an amazing power. He is strong and capable, but has such a bad reputation of being ruthless and dangerous. Gabriel slowly lets the powerful man into his life and heart, understanding him better than anyone else ever has.
The sex is amazingly hot, sensuous and makes you wish there was an air conditioner around to cool you off. This story makes you wish you were there watching everything that happens and has you rooting for Brishen and Gabriel the whole time. I loved this story and know that it will be cherished and read over and over.

Review: This is book two in this series and they should be read in order. It is the funniest story I have read in a while and it isn’t just because the sons of the High Ruler and Royal Consort can get pregnant. Ok most of it was because of that but there are some parts of this story that will have you falling in the floor laughing. It does have parts though that can make you cry from the tenderness and pain that you feel when you learn what this young prince went through.
Twenty-five years ago, four newborns were kidnapped from their fathers. Fathers who happened to be the High Ruler of the Lycans and his mate the Royal Consort. Their warriors had spent that whole time looking for the children although now they are young men. Theone had been hidden in a pleasure dome, mistreated and hurt he reaches out in dreams. He connects with Kellan and begs for his help. He is injured, blind, and scared out of his mind. With the help of two twins Ty and Ky, he gets a message to Kellan.
Kellan feels something for Theone but doesn’t realize he is his mate until he bites him. Talk about some interesting times waiting for them. Kellan is a cat shifter and after starting the bond ceremony he has twenty-four hours to mate him or he will mate him even without permission. With the twins help he has a little over an hour and half to find his mate, get him to the twins safely, heal his injuries, get the tracking device out of him and get him off the world they were on. The only problem is someone blew up his ship and a couple more explosions, but they have help with it all.
God I love this series, it has the best characters I have read about and the coolest story line. I love the way she makes the worlds all so fascinating. It all comes off so believable. It is amazing the way that Kellan and Theone mix together. You can sense the love between them and there is the hint of kink going on. I loved the ending to this story. It was so sweet and tender that it will make you cry a little with happiness.
I would recommend this story to anyone who loves futuristic themes, shapeshifters, the paranormal worlds, romance, hot and sexy men, danger, and excitement. Not to mention the sex is out of this world. I love the twist and turns this story has and I cannot wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

I love Marcy’s stories that she writes. She has a wonderful creative spark inside of her and can give you a world to lose yourself into when times get really hard and you just want to disappear. I loved how this series just captures your attention from the start and keeps it to the very end. It is amazing.
Theo had been abducted from his pack, and sold as a sex slave many times over. It makes your heart just hurt thinking of all the pain he must have felt. However, he had the ability and strength to not only overcome it, but to turn around and trust his feelings to the man who had to fight for him.
Lucius was a wolf alpha and had been captured by vampires and turned in to basically like a cage fighter. Sometimes fighting just to entertain the vampires but also for mates. He had won two mates prior to this fight and lost both of them to death. The omega mates are doused with blood and placed in a caged area with two very wild animals and the alpha that had won him had to keep his mate alive. This time though he fought for an omega that just pulled to him. He fought for Theo, but had told him after he won that he would never love him. He soon realized that was wrong all the way around, because he found himself in love with the omega. When he realized his mate was pregnant, he had to make a choice. A choice that could cost him everything. He knew that if it was found out that they would take his cub from him, and since he knew that there was a pack of wolves around the property he had to take the chance. He had to get Theo to leave him, to run to the wolves and get help.
Theo loved Lucius with all of his heart and once he was told about his being pregnant, he did as he was asked. With a heavy heart he ran. I would definitely be recommending this book to anyone who loved two hot and sexy men, the fact that it is a man who gets pregnant, true love story, hot sex, and lots of dangers coming at them from all directions.

If you read book one you would have met Lonnie and Santos. You would have also laughed your ass off at them. They are quite a bit quirky and snarly. They are always arguing with each other, not killing each other yet that is. However, you know what they say about arguing so much, it is like foreplay between wolves. Santos is a member of the Dark Riders motorcycle group. He is as fierce with love as he is with anger and revenge. He met Lonnie when his leader went after Lonnie’s best friend and mated with him. He also thinks Lonnie is a loudmouth, pain in the ass and is the only man alive that can push his buttons and make him want to kill him. He is also the opposite of what Santo’s wants as a lover.
Lonnie is someone you could fall in love with so fast and so hard. He is just as cute and adorable but a pain in the ass smart mouth. I love that about him, he can give as good as he takes. He gets injured several times and Santos is right there with him. Even with all the snark flying around you can tell that once they hit the sheets it will be setting them on fire. There is so much heat going around them. Even their friends can notice and not just from the scent of lust in the air.
The dangers of the darlings coming after them and the fact that a certain detective is looking to bust the whole group is a major hot spot for me, but there is a lot more danger than just that in this story. It was amazing and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves sexy men, hot sex, shapeshifters, vampires, and lots of danger. Trust me this is one series you will want to read.

Review:This is book three in a series that should be read in order. Marcy has a wonderful gift of storytelling. She gives you great characters and a wonderful storylines. I absolutely love Adam and Mason. They come off as someone you would know. They seem so real that you want to just love them and smack them both.
Mason and Adam had been together while they were in college. They seemed to be happy, till Mason quit answering the phone when Adam had called. Breaking up with Adam was the hardest thing to do, but he had to do what his father and alpha suggested. He had married a female who had once been his friend. It was a perfect arrangement because she had known he was gay and he knew she was in love with Stacy. It had all ended when a war started and she had been killed right along with several of his pack members. What he had not known was that by ending his relationship with Adam, he had lost someone important.
Adam had always loved Mason, and he was heartbroken when Mason had ended their relationship. He had tried to contact him the whole time even after he had realized that Mason was a werewolf. He had gotten pregnant and when he lost that child, he gave up on Mason. Until the night, he was to be sold at auction to pay off the vampires his stepfather owed money to. What he had not expected was Mason to be there and to have bought him.
It took some time for them to get everything straightened out, well until Adam realized that Mason had mated him, and the fact that he still hadn’t told Mason about his pregnancy. To say it went over well is an overstatement, so much so that Adam had left. To get him back might start a war. He realized he loved his man and the fact that Adam was pregnant again.
This story is amazing and so very much loved. I would recommend this story to anyone who loved werewolves, the paranormal world, sexy men and a bit of danger to please you. I loved this story and can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: This is a start to a brand new series by Lynn Hagen. It is not connected with the other series she has written. And I must say that it is a pretty awesome read.
Vampires are called Darlings and are not like any vampire you have read about. Falcon belongs to the Dark Riders, a biker gang who are shapeshifting wolves. He is taken away at first sight over a human named Garrett. Garret and Lonnie own a tattoo shop. The Dark Riders come off, as one would think a biker group would. They are extremely lethal and not hard to look at. In fact, Garrett calls them eye candy because they are so sexy to look at.
Garrett notices Falcon sitting outside at a bar one night. He loves to just stare at the man, even though his best friend Lonnie tells him that it just might get him killed. He can’t seem to get enough of the man though. The fantasies are very vivid and he is scared of what could happen. Even though the Darlings are coming after him, he just can’t figure out what to do with Falcon.
When Falcon marked him, it must have messed with his DNA slowly converting him into a wolf. Which in one way it meant that Falcon was going to keep him, but it had Falcon questioning the change because normally it is done during sex not a nick with a claw. It brought a lot of unanswered questions to them but with no way to know. The sex between them is amazing and hot so much, so that it would set the sheets on fire. I love the fact that there is a hint of kink between them. It makes it seem so much better.
This story has it all sexy men, shapeshifters, vampires, paranormal worlds, hot sex, and lots of danger coming at you from all directions. I cannot wait to start reading book two, because this is going to be another wonderful series.

Review: This book is a revised edition of The Cajun’s Pet and although many of you will say, well it can’t be that different, you’d be wrong. Because there’s quite a bit added in. and although it doesn’t seem to have changed all that much, the added paranormal aspect adds a different depth to the story and there are other notable changes as well.
Gideon is sharing an apartment with five other men. All trying to get by in New Orleans. He tries to get honest work and sometimes will go for days without food, rather than turning to selling himself. The first time he sees Evan the ‘Cajun King’, he is intrigued and takes to hovering around the Café where Evan has his breakfast. Grabbing his courage, he approaches the Cajun and makes him an offer. Evan is surprised and intrigued when a brat approaches him offering to be his pet. There is something about the other man that makes his wolf sit up and whine, so he takes a chance. But Evan soon learns that Gideon is damaged and he has to be tough so both of them get what they really want.
I must admit to being surprised when I learned that Jana Downs had re-written The Cajun’s Pet and had added a paranormal slant to it. But to be honest I liked it. It added a bit more spice to the story line and adds a more intriguing aspect. Gideon is a sweet character, but he is lost. When Evan takes him in, Gideon immerses himself in everything that he is given and offered. But Evan knows that Gideon needs to find himself, before he commits to Evan fully. The paranormal aspect is one that I want more of. Evan is a wolf and has a small pack that is spread throughout the country. Finding out more about the circumstances of his change and when he changed Gideon would have been nice, but hey, it was still a good story. I will admit that there was one part where I thought that both Gideon and Evan were being selfish and that was when the vampire asked for their help after they had a slight misunderstanding.
I will recommend this to those who like 24/7 D/s, paranormal stories, finding yourself and a happy ending for a wolf and his mate.

Review: Ian Jackson has been hired for a tourist project, but while filming the local wildlife he comes a young man skinny-dipping in a pond. What shocks him even further is when four wolves appear. Wolves aren’t known in the area. But before Ian can do anything, the young man and wolves disappear. It isn’t long before Ian discovers a world he never knew about, but what can he do when the man he lusts after turns out to be truly his. Blaise doesn’t want to mate with a female. He wants the sexy photographer who took his photo at the pond. But when their worlds collide and Ian is placed in danger, just what will Blaise do?
This novella has a very good premise, is well written, and has an interesting collection of Loup Garou. Blaise hates the restrictions that his older brother is always placing on him. He also hates that his brother is trying to get him to mate with a female, when all he wants is a man. Blaise sets his sights on Ian, but there are many obstacles in his way. Least of which, is Ian taking photos of things he shouldn’t. Ian is fascinated by the man he sees at the pond, but he has a job to do and if that job just happens to take him to that young man all the better. But he discovers something that should be kept hidden and places himself in danger. Both these characters are fun to get to know and they keep you reading.
I thought this story was quite good. Blaise’s determination to stand against his brother is good and Ian’s hope of romancing Blaise is cute. Their romance was a bit slip shod though and left a lot to be desired. I liked the idea of different Loup Garou. But it was quite confusing of what the structure actually was because nobody seemed to take it seriously. Just doing what they wanted with no fear of reprisals. The one thing that threw me, though, was that nobody did anything to punish the cougars that attacked Ian, and Ian let it slide.
I will recommend this to those who love shifters, hot sex, good characters, hidden secrets discovered and a happy ending.

Review:Riley is a reporter and a character we’re set up not to trust, and I even have a hard time liking him. But Riley grows on me, and clearly grows on our sweet little Jason. Riley gets closer and closer to Jason, becomes intimately attached to him, gets an in with the pack and then doesn’t know how he’s going to explain himself when his reuse is discovered. I thought it would be impossible for the author to find a way to get Riley out of his predicament, but these chances develop to redeem himself. The question is will the pack forgive him, and can Jason learn to trust him again?
We see characters from past books, and of course, Jesse still seems to be the center of the conflict. Because of Jason bringing attention to Elk Ridge, everyone becomes concerned about protecting Jesse and his secret from the outside world, and packs.
There’s not quite the struggle for dominance and battle between two stubborn personalities as we found in book one. This book is more about our sweet, innocent favorite falling for the bad boy outsider and bringing out the best in him. A fun series, with plenty of heat, looking forward to the next one!

Review: This is the best book in the series so far. I like angst and defeating odds, and this book has plenty of that. There are some disturbing abuse scenes involving Colby and his abusive pack leader, but it’s necessary to build up just how damaged Colby is and paints a clearer picture of what he’s up against. There is also a large amount of more gruesome violence, just be warned.
Once Tristan manages to gain his freedom with help and sacrifice from Colby, he needs to both trust his helper and convince his pack to trust him too. All along I expect the mental and physical abuse, and fear to overcome Colby and cause big problems. The PTSD of an abuse situation is a big part of the plot, along with Colby learning to trust again and believing he can have happiness, that he’s not completely broken.
A big and scary surprise awaits Tristan’s pack when they go to confront Colby’s old pack leader…and it all ties into Jesse’s past once again. An exciting read, with lots of emotion, and some unexpected twists and turns!

The way the characters play off each other with strengths and weakness’ that compliment their partner is an intriguing aspect. Again though there was a moment or scene of unrealistic proportions that had me scratching my head toward the end. Overall Andrews is building this world at the ranch with a series of novellas that is both cohesive and realistic, and sexy as hell.

Review: Short, Sexy and Steamy…. My three favourite colors!

He’s long thought of his homosexuality as a negative after a serious beating at the hands of his father when he caught Zander and his high school boyfriend making out. He meets Dean and John one night at a bar and definitely likes what he sees, but he ignores the feelings of desire he has for both men thinking they are straight. Little does he know that not only are they very much gay, but the attraction goes both ways, or three ways in this case.
Dean Buchanan and John Acker have been together for several years, but there is something missing. Something 6’4 with dark hair, smoldering eyes and a domineering attitude. Dean is a natural submissive. Zander an obvious dominate, so where does that leave John? Somewhere in the middle if Zander and Dean have their way. The three share a smoking hot night, but where do they go from there? Zander finds the perfect ranch to start his dream, but that dream has morphed into something more as of late. Something he wants to include John and Dean is. Now he just has to convince them that they can make it work if they can work together as a team and partners, in every sense of the word.
The way these three balance each other out is sort of… perfect. Someone has to be in charge, only one can lead, even when taking his partners into consideration. But in order for Zander to take the lead, John has to relinquish some control. And Dean is just sitting back and enjoying the ride, literally! I love the way the characters play off each other in these books, the author works well with each individual’s strengths and weakness’. The sex is off the friggin charts fantastic! But I have to take points off for that ridiculous display of emotion in the kitchen toward the end. It was like a road bump in the story, I was able to push through though, and I’m glad I did.
This is a must read series for anyone that likes sexy cowboys, ménage and strong-willed characters that can learn how to be flexible.

Review: Macon Sumner and Wade Sutherland have been best friends since they were children, and lovers since they were teenagers. Outed by an overzealous reporter, they are no longer in hiding per say, but Wade still has his hand stuck in the closet door. Wade’s father does not understand nor does he approve, and he is very vocal about it.
There are only two things that Macon wants to do, Wade and Rodeo, and in that order. As much as he loves Wade, he’s tired of hiding who they are and what they mean to each other. The opportunity presents itself to them to join a Gay rodeo team so they go spend a couple of weeks practicing and roping together again. They get to spend every day and night together and are allowed the freedom to be open with their relationship. But Wade has spent so much time and effort hiding who he is, and he continues to shy away from being openly affectionate with Macon. When Zander offers them a place at the Ranch and with his rodeo team, will Wade embrace it or run away and continue to hide.
Wranglers, Ropers, Rodeos and Cowboys! A short, fast read about two lifelong friends that become lovers, and their struggle with coming out to their friends and families. I loved the best friends turned lover’s aspect of the story, but the title confused me. It’s supposed to be Macon’s story, but it’s told from Wade’s POV. And Wade aggravated the piss out of me with his I love you, as long as no one is looking.
Overall, I thought this was just a fun, tender love story and while there were a few bumps in the road, I would read more from this author.

Review: Once again, Marcy has blown me away with another wonderful story. It has so much description, details, and great emotion that will captivate you. It has the mixture of danger, pain, fear, and love that makes it a great read.
To understand such a great pain takes such compassion that Colt has for his little mate. Kyle had a truly hard life that ended with him in a coma after being raped and turned by an alpha who was out to destroy all Luna werewolves. Colt was one of the alpha’s other pack members, told to watch and care for Kyle he started slowly feeling things for Kyle. Thinking Kyle belonged to Lawrence, he did as his alpha order. But when Kyle tells him what Lawrence had done to him, he knew he had to keep him safe. Kyle had very little self-confidence because he thought himself to be a whore who got paid. But in truth, he was a victim also. He is truly adorable with an attitude that just fits him. He has the humor to make his mate smile, the love to keep him happy and the attitude to drive him crazy with. Colt was also known to being a werewolf, but he has the strength of will to go against his alpha, the courage to stand up for someone he loves and the love to prove his commitment.
I was intrigued by their strength and weaknesses actually making them stronger. I loved the way this book just comes across just as I do most of Marcy’s books in this series. I am glad to add this to my library and will definitely be reading it again. It captured my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

Review: Pretty much raised by vampires as slaves, Hawke had managed to escape when he was a child with the help of a vampire child William. Now Hawke was a grown man and a very skilled assassin and he had just kidnapped William to be a pawn. The only problem was he was slowly falling in love with William. Hawke is a human with the strength and loyalty to his clan. He has hated the vampires for their superiority but was starting to care for a vampire. William is the youngest son, and was about to be sent to an arranged marriage, so he had attempted to escape his family only to be captured by Hawke. William was tender, caring and had the capability to love those around him.
This story seem like it was in the old days, but every once in a while it seems like the future term. Each character has their strengths, their weaknesses, differences but they seem to fit just right together. I really love the paranormal romances, especially with different types but this story was just a bit harder to get into for some reason. It was still a very good read though. Especially the sexual scenes and the danger surrounding them. Even with the difficulties of getting into it, once I started reading I didn’t put it down.
I have always loved Marcy’s stories and once I got into the story this made my list. I can see myself reading it more than once.

Review: This is a book six in a series but it stood alone fine, since it was actually a story being told by another character to his lover.
I liked how this was told by a character as a bedtime story. I like a good historical type cowboy story and this was one.
Lincoln was one of the first gay Sheriffs of Snow Creek. This is the tale of how he met his deputy, Ned Dove. Ned was accused of being a thief and was being transported to Fort Laramie for a trial. His was a bit strange for Lincoln as to why a thief was being sent there for a trial instead of in town but he wasn’t one to argue. Until he actually met Dove and heard his story, then things really didn’t set right with Lincoln.
The story was a good old west story, set in an old west time. It was also a good love story and fairly hot. I liked the dynamics between Ned and Lincoln but the relationship seemed a bit too out for that time period.
If you like cowboys, old west eras, a bit of mystery and intrigue and some fairly hot mansex this is for you!
