Review: This writer is clever! This wonderful short story follows Rob as he reflects on himself, sacrifices he makes for his career and his long-term relationship. The details of the tattoo design process and shop make me feel like I’m stepping up to the chair. The unique twist in the story slowly unfolds itself, but if you are paying attention you will be ready for that “aha” moment. Though I must say there was a moment, there I wanted to shake some sense into Rob! Great story, clever author! Grab it, and read it!

Review:  Treasure of a Thousand Worlds is a young fantasy novel by Shannon Rouchelle. It is the first book published under of the Dalton Twin Mysteries Series. The story stars Daniel Dalton and his twin brother Ben Dalton. After the sudden death of their mother, who was a single parent, the Dalton Twins find themselves inside a new world full of mysteries and adventure.

I liked this novel. I felt so sorry for Daniel and Ben. They lost their mom and had to move in with Miss Roth, a crazy old lady. I love the relationship between the teens and their struggles to build their life after their mom died and the mystery quest that followed it. But, sadly, that’s about it.

What I didn’t like about this novel was the fact that it didn’t contain any M/M Romance. Both of the main characters were straight. Another thing that was a huge turned off was the fact that this novel was just too short. It also seemed to be too fast-paced. One second they are here and the next, they are there. This novel would be much better if it was longer and even slow-paced.

What I really loved about this novel, was the plot. It was very solid, cool, fresh, and new. I love YA Fantasy novels with amazing little twists. Yes, this was too fast-paced for me and it didn’t contain a M/M Romance, but there’s no denying that author is very talented and really good.

I recommend this novel to anyone who loves short YA Fantasy novels, pirates, a good mystery, adventure, and a solid coming of age plot.

Blurb:   Dear Author,

I know I’m not supposed to be on the equipment after hours, but when my frat brothers dared me to strip down to my skivvies and start scissoring, who was I to say no? We snuck in and now, here I am. We all do dumb shit when it’s just the guys, after all, right? And I mean, clearly they’ve seen me before when I was competing on the college team, but I guess it’s an understatement to say that they’ve never seen me perform in such― ahem― brief attire.

Most of the guys looked uncomfortable, but I noticed one of them looking at me like he had something else in mind. He’s new and kinda one of the more quiet ones among us, so I don’t know much about him. I’ve only just started to realize that I might… well, kinda sorta totally… like guys and not girls. Is it possible he could maybe be… like me?

Review:  I loved this novel. Sticking It by Kimber Vale stars Adam and Dane. Now, Dane is a very talented gymnastic student who meets Adam after a friend tricks him and makes him do a small routine in his underwear. This little incident brings them together as one.

I liked Dane. He was hot and very sexy. He genuinely seemed to be a great guy. Adam was awesome too. He was the nerdy and hot guy that everyone loves. I felt a little sorry for Adam since he went through hell in his previous school because his sexual orientation. Now, he feels guarded and won’t let Dane in. I’m glad they managed to work something out and live happily ever after.

The one thing that I didn’t like about this novel was the fact that it was just too short. Other than that, the plot was solid and the characters were amazing. I recommend this novel to anyone looking for a short YA little read with lots of sex, love and more sex.

Review:  Tuckersburg by Raven de Hart is very short novel staring Alex and Skyler. Now, these two met during the big barbecue that their town held every year. But, that was enough to let this two start and ignite.

I liked Alex and Skyler. Alex seemed like a very shy and nerdy guy while Skyler seemed very cool and down to earth. The one thing I didn’t like about this little novel was the fact that it was just too short. It almost seemed like a lost chapter of a longer one. I think that the author would benefit greatly by turning this into a full-length one.

I recommend this one to anyone who loves short YA novels with steamy hot sex or to anyone looking for a very short and enjoyable read.

Review:  Oh my God! I absolutely loved this novel! Gay Honeymoon stars Toby. Now, Toby lost his dad at the World Trade Center in 9/11 and his mom a few years later. He was left all alone, but his Uncle Butch took him in and raised him as his own along with his loving partner, Jimmy. Toby, now twenty, is looking for the love of his life and he finds it, the amazing and incredible Jacob.

I loved Toby. He was very shy and quiet, but really loving and caring. I was left heartbroken after reading about his parents. That was just so tragic and sad. However, I was so happy that his Uncle Butch and Jimmy took him in. Those two were just so amazing and loving, the coolest uncles walking the face of the planet! Now, Jacob was the bomb! I fell for him instantly and I was saddened by his past as well. I was so glad that Toby and Jacob found each other because those two deserved each other.

What I liked the most about this novel was the fact that it was so realistic. There wasn’t any bizarre plot or crazy storyline that made you turn left and right, losing your way. The writing was perfect and engaging. It really showed that the author took her time doing her research and editing it thoroughly. Another thing that I loved was how religious and united the characters were. Yes, life has been hard with them, but they still kept pushing forward. I must warn you though, this novel is steamy hot. There are so many sex scenes that they will leave you at the edge of your seat.

All in all, this was an amazing little read. I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read a very loving story about family, friendship, love, religion, life, and hot steamy sex.

Review:  I have to admit something. I loved this novel! The Touch of Hope stars Jonathan. Now, Jonathan ran away from home and has been living in the streets. One day, he bumps into Erik and that’s where the story takes off.

I loved Jonathan and understood why he had to run away from home. His dad was an asshole and his mom lived in another world. All I wanted was to hug and protect him. I loved Erik. He was strong and a complete survivor. The one thing that turned me off was the fact that this novel was just too short. I wanted more! I really hope that the author continues with this story or expands it into a full-length one. The characters were just too good and lovable.

I recommend this little short to anyone who wants to read about the sad reality that millions of homeless teens around the world have to go through every day. Trust me, it will touch your soul and leave you wanting more.

Review: Mason has had to live with in fear with a terrible secret since the night that his best friend turned it into a nightmare that he could never have imagined. Living a life in solitude he does all he can to keep the monster at bay. Mason stumbles across a newly turned werewolf who has no clue what he is, Mason tries to help but Niall doesn’t believe a word he is told…. until the next time he wakes up naked in a strange place with no memories. Both Mason and Niall are drawn together but Mason knows what a monster he really is, and with his vile enemy closing in again, Mason just wants to run. Niall wants to find a solution to both their problems and Mason has to learn to master his wolf and realize that being alone doesn’t have to be the only solution.

This is a brilliant story that takes us back to the horror of werewolves, where they are near mindless monsters that revel in murder and terror. Mason is a man who is desperate to silence his monster, he has done terrible things, which haunt him, and he resorts to desperate measures each month. Niall is a man who went to bed with the wrong person, now he is drawn into a world that he wants out of, and Mason is his only hope. The two men are drawn together, but Mason doesn’t want his burden falling on someone else and after the final confrontation, Niall has to convince him that the two are meant to be together.

I loved this story for the visceral feel to it, the unapologetic way it shows the werewolves as nasty and the darker haunting way that Mason has dealt with it. The opening scenes to this story strike to the heart of the plot, men reveling in their wolves and enjoying the destruction and terror that they unleash. Mason is the good wolf though, he never sinks to the darkest levels that others have and tries to change his path but he is always tracked by the one who made him. Niall falls victim to the deranged wolf and finally turns to Mason when he accepts the truth of what has happened. Their attraction is mutual but it is a very difficult rocky path, Mason has a huge amount of guilt that eats at him and Niall has a fight on his hands to convince Mason that they should be together.

I recommend this gem to those who love base werewolves, fighting instinct and urges, a battle for life, destroying the evil and finding a happiness that was never expected.

Review:  I loved this short novel! It was a really short and sweet. Fireflies and Crickets star Kennedy. Now, Kennedy is very shy and tiny guy trying his best to survive high school. After he comes out to his parents as gay guy, they kick him out and send him to live with his Aunt Holly. Kennedy is devastated, but after meeting Evan, his entire life changes.

I loved Kennedy! He was shy, sweet, and caring just like Aunt Holly. I hated Kennedy’s parents. Those two bigot bastards kicked him out for being himself. I’m glad that Kennedy stayed with his aunt because those two did not deserve a son like him. To me Evan was amazing! I absolutely loved him. He was always there for Kennedy, to love and protect. I was also glad to see Drew in this novel. He was the star of another short novel by the same author. I’m so glad that the author linked the two short stories because they went perfectly together.

Overall, this was an amazing little read. If you’re looking for a short, but gooey love novel about life, family, and friendship, this one is the one for you.

Pixie’s Review: ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts

Private Investigator Tony has been asked to look into the death of a young woman, a young woman who apparently committed suicide; it leads Tony to go undercover as a patient at a Seattle sex clinic and getting him help for his own little problem. Tony doesn’t believe that the doctor who treated the young woman, Jack Halloran, was involved but he wants to make sure he doesn’t miss anything and that it isn’t his attraction to the doctor clouding his judgment. Jack has his own issues, injured in the line of duty as a combat surgeon; he has lost all confidence in his own appeal and becomes confused by his attraction to his new patient, Tony.

This is a great story that has some brilliant humorous moments including an Italian mother who has no boundaries. Tony is a great character who puts his all into solving his clients cases, his newest case is a puzzle though, and no matter the alibi, he still suspects the husband. Going undercover Tony wants to discover just what treatment the dead woman received, but he gets a surprise of his own when his own little problem rears its ugly head. Jack is a man who has had his confidence knocked, forced to change his specialty he is now a sex counselor and is intrigued by his new patients problem, but he also find himself attracted to the man.

This is a great novella that has some incredible sexual tension and a pretty good investigation. Tony is a character that you fall in love with, he is so cute with his blushes and embarrassment and his intense attraction to Jack. Jack is a man who has had some hard knocks, but he is so nice that you want him to break the rules for Tony. Tony’s investigation is great but the budding relationship with Jack is better, both of them entwine and I loved Jack’s reaction to the truth about Tony.

I recommend this to those that love humorous private investigators, hot doctors, great sex, an interesting storyline and a very amusing ending.

Tams’ Review: ♥♥♥♥4Hearts

I do love a good love story. PI Tony DeMarco is on the case when he meets Dr. Jack Halloran. You see, Tony is in his late thirties and yet only really ever been attracted to 4 men, in his life. And he’s just met number 5! But the Doc is a suspect in the case Tony is working for the White family. Their daughter “overdosed” but her parents aren’t buying it, and the investigation led Tony to the clinic where Jack works.

Jack Halloran is an Iraq war vet that joined the military right out of medical school, and his body carries the scars from an IED. He realizes his job isn’t the most conventional, a doctor at a sex therapy clinic, but he enjoys his work. He’s never, ever gotten involved with a patient, but Tony pushes all the right buttons. Can the sexy Doc keep things strictly professional when a tall, dark, and handsome Italian man is hovering over him telling him how bad he wants him?
This book was just all kinds of fun and not too long to weigh it down. There was a little bit of suspense while Tony really did try to keep it professional and do his job. But then there was the constant sexual tension that was sizzling between him and Jack that had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Let’s just say, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to look at a pair of stirrups the same way again!

If you like strong male leads that give as good as they get, really give each other a run for their money… this is a must read for you.

Review:  I absolutely loved is novel! Last Of the Summer Tomatoes stars Kyle. Now, Kyle is a very troublesome kid who had a very hard life. His stepfather abuses him and his mom does nothing to stop him. After getting in trouble with the law again, he’s place under a new work release program in order to avoid jail time. Kyle, being a smart guy, agrees and he is sent to work at a farm. It is there where he meets Glenda, Walt and their son, Sam.

I loved Kyle! There were several times where I simply wanted to hug him and shelter him from everyone. His stepfather, Hank, was a complete homophobic asshole! I hated him almost immediately. I loved Glenda and Walt. They were the perfect parents and instantly accepted Kyle as their own. However, to me, Sam was the bomb! Everything he did was to make sure that Kyle felt good, happy, and comfortable. There were times where I wanted to choke Kyle. He simply founded hard to let loose and love life with Sam, but I knew the reasons why. Hank did a number on him and I’m glad that at the end, he finally saw the light and let loose.

All in all, this was a great and entertaining read. I recommend this novel to anyone who is looking to read something with a lot of heart, family love, friendship, and genuine love.

Review: This story is part of a series and must be read in order. Mikhail is babysitting the last of the rescued children when they are attacked by Sirens; rescue comes from an unexpected source in the shape of a sexy dragon shifter Jin. Bob and Sam come back from dropping Mal off at her new school to find the bathroom destroyed and a new quest to undertake…. returning the little dragon shifter princess home and discovering who was behind her kidnapping. Jin is surprised to discover his mate is a vampire/siren hybrid, but Mikhail isn’t sure if he could be a dragons mate.

Dragon’s *sigh* I just love dragon’s, and this story is an excellent paranormal with a horrid new enemy. Mikhail is left in charge for only a short amount of time when Siren’s attack with the intention of snatching the last remaining child, Eliza, when Jin comes to the rescue they realize that a dragon must have been involved with the original kidnapping. Jin, Mikhail, Sam, and Bob along with Eliza head back to the Dragon Mountains to return Eliza to the safety of her father and to discover who would want to get rid of her. Mikhail and Jin also have to find out if their mating stands a chance, because Mikhail doesn’t have much hope of anyone really wanting a vampire/siren hybrid.

This story is a wonderful addition to the End Street Detective Agency continuing the kidnapped children/ siren storyline while weaving slightly darker elements into it to give us an exciting dangerous story. While we have met Mikhail in previous books, this book gives us insight into his life and you can’t help but admire him, as his past is unfolded. Jin is a very sexy new character who is also tough, but sweet and vulnerable at times. We see both men instantly connect but because of Mikhail’s mixed heritage, Mikhail doesn’t recognize, at first, that Jin is his mate. Jin is so understanding of Mikhail’s qualms and they really are a fantastic couple when they finally get it together.

The rest of the storyline reveals more than just the siren’s involvement and we discover that someone, who Jin thought was a good friend, is a traitor. We see Sam make an ill-advised deal in his desperation to save someone, and he is delightful in his worry for Mal. Bob and Sam’s relationship continues to develop and they are brilliant together in this story, as well as the support they show their friend. We also get an excellent ending with hints for the next case.

I recommend this to those who love brilliant paranormal investigations, danger and mad dragons, new storyline directions, great characters, incredible hot sex and a brilliant ending that leads us to the next book.

Review:  Wow! I loved this book. The Straight Road To Kylie stars Jonathan Parish. Now, Jonathan is an out and proud senior at Winter Park High. What is his obsession? The amazing and incredibly beautiful Kylie Minogue. And trust me; he would do anything to meet her, even turned straight.

I loved Jonathan Parish. His obsession for Kylie reminded me so much of my obsession for Nelly Furtado. It’s just so cute and funny! Kylie means the world to him like Nelly means the world to me. I loved Jonathan’s friends. They seemed so cool and down to earth. Yes, they had their little flaws, but everyone does. I really liked Laura. Some readers won’t like her, but I fell for her. She was a really cool bitch.

All in all, I loved this novel. The plot was solid, the characters seemed real, and the Kylie Minogue references reminded me so much of her music. I love her! She may not be my favorite artist of all time, but her music is fun and I must agree with the author. It is so sad that Kylie’s music has not reach every single soul on earth. She is just fantastic.

I recommend this novel to all the Kylie fans out there and to any who wants to read something new and fresh. Trust me; you won’t get this book out of your head.

Blurb:On the Road: To combine two lives, first one must understand the components of each.

When Ryan Carpenter realizes the scientists he works for are torturing sentient beings, he feels the need for penance in the form of helping the shifters free their comrades. To that end, Ryan heads to Oregon to offer aide in shutting down one of the scientist’s training facilities and freeing any captive shifters. He’s unprepared for one of the men, Sam Abbott, a Texas longhorn bull shifter, to express an attraction to him. Unfortunately, Ryan has secrets of his own, and knows if he becomes involved with Sam, a shifter, his own transgressions against Sam’s kind would eventually come out, and destroying anything, they might have built. Walking away—especially for the good of everyone—should be easy, right?

Review: Ryan used to work for scientists that had convinced him shifters were bad and not sentient. He found out after a while that they had lied and he regretted his life and agreed to help Kontra free the captive shifters at the compound. When Ryan arrives immediately, a shifter grabs him. He didn’t know what to think especially when he found out Sam thinks they are mates. Both men have secrets that could affect their decisions.

This is actually the thirteenth book in this series and my first. I can say it stands well alone. I do however want read the other books to find out more about the other men.  The characters are interesting though you don’t learn much about any of them; not even the main ones. The story line of the rescue is good but a bit short, but the romance between Sam and Ryan was amazing. I usually grimace when the first meeting is yelling Mine, etc. Ryan’s reaction and reluctance really made it much easier to swallow and both characters were so likeable I was rooting for them from the beginning.

I recommend this if you like a fresh take on shifters, a fast-moving romance, some actin and some sweet loving sex with a satisfying ending.

Review:  I have mix feelings about this one. Breaking Out stars Justin and Niall. Now, Justin lost his mom to cancer leaving him behind in the care of his dad, Peter, and older brother, Dan. At school, he meets Niall that comes from a very Catholic background. There is an instant connection between and they soon become one.

I liked the two main characters. The writing was really good and the story was solid. The one thing that totally blew me off was the giant gaps in the story. We only get to see what happens later on because the main characters remembered it or retold it. Another thing that I hated was the fact that we don’t really get to see what happened to Niall’s parents. Did they accept him? Did they completely walk out of their child’s life? I suspect that they did, but still, that to me was left unanswered.

I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read a unique, sweet, and coming of age young novel with a very happily ever after.

Review:  I absolutely loved this novel! Forever Young stars Robbie and Colt. Now, Robbie is very hardworking and sweet kid. He lives with his mom and works at a local grocery store in Boyne City, Michigan. He’s living a normal and boring life, but everything changes when he meets Colt. Why? Because Colt is a hundred and sixty-seven year old vampire.

I loved Robbie’s innocence and shyness. That made him appear weak, but I found him to be a fighter and believer. Colt, on the other hand, was freaking sexy and mysterious. He was a gentleman trapped inside a seventeen-year-old’s body. I loved Jeff Erno’s version of a vampire novel. Twilight had completely destroyed it for me and Mr. Erno made me love vampires once again. This book is filled with several intriguing characters that I found myself wanting to know more of. I really hope that Mr. Erno pens a part two for this amazing and intriguing novel.

I recommend this novel to anyone who loves supernatural novels, a good young love story fill with mystery. Trust me; you won’t regret sitting down and reading this fresh work of fiction.

Review: This is a lovely and romantic story about redemption.

They were once in love, but they were young, one blind, and the other stupid. Harsh? I don’t think so.

When Adam broke Scott’s heart six years ago, they were both at fault. Adam though he’d get the easy money and have a nice, easy life. Stupid!

Scott thought he had the love of his life and their future programmed, when there were leads that told differently. Blind!

It took some police officers to shock that out of Scott’s system, get him moving, or rather running, and trying to mend his heart. Six years later the piercing pain caused by the sight of his ex-lover seems as raw as ever. Now Adam is chasing him, trying to apologize and perhaps win him back. But they never counted on the fury all this accumulated pain has released.

The first part of this story was marvelous. The characters’ reactions were real and had you engrossed in the story in no time at all. The feelings and emotions swirling around both Scott and Adam were so credibly written I thought they would have a pretty hard time getting to talk to each other without Scott reaping Adam a new one.

But right then the twist happened and Adam found himself compromised and in a very vulnerable situation, causing Scott’s protective streak to hit full force. Years of bitterness were forced ahead to be confronted, and years of loneliness and desolate feelings were forced to be acknowledged.

I loved how Adam felt that he deserved the way Scott treated him, yet still faced it with an air of dignity, despite the resignation that colored his every move. I loved how drama-free the context was, how that aftertaste of bitterness from ruining your life and that of your beloved one was there, yet it didn’t sully the text with overbearing emotions.

Yes, it is safe to say that the writing in this book is very good, and while the theme in itself is not light, the way it was written made it easy to read, easy to like, and didn’t add any heaviness or steal the escapism purpose from the read.

I enjoyed the story a lot; I loved both characters very much. Adam, that seemed so “alone” in the world, so desolate, and yet not giving up on what he treasured most. And Scott, that despite his lost trust and his broken heart, dared to dive into those frightening waters again and give them both a second chance.

I might have felt a bit uneasy about how single-minded Adam was on being the man Scott deserved, and how Scott, this and Scott that. It was as if he was only trying to better his life for Scott, instead of himself, no matter what Scott’s decision would end up to be. There were times that I felt that he would go back and ruin his life again should Scott not forgive him. But I got over it as I flew with the story and its romanticism.

Bottom end Chase the Sun is a perfect book for all those who love a good written romance. Strongly recommended!

Blurb:   Growing up in a foster home in a small Midwest town, Sean Whitcomb planned from the day he turned sixteen to somehow escape. And he does to the big city of Des Moines at a lawyer’s firm. Now up for a shot at a partnership, he needs to deliver the goods, and it’s not what he thinks. No, it’s a family style meal for the founding partners and their spouses. Which causes Sean a major issue, because not only is he a single gay man, but he can’t cook to save his life, and his boss is expecting a home cooked meal — complete with a family or there will be no partnership offer.

In desperation, Sean turns to the man he left behind in his pursuit of the golden ring, Isaiah Waterston. Not only is Isaiah hot enough to still turn Sean’s crank but he’s also a world-class chef at one of the hottest eateries in town. Now all he has to do is convince the man he’d left behind to give him a single night of his time, prepare a mouth-watering meal, and pretend to be his lover for a few hours. Sounds easy right? Well it is until Isaiah attaches his own stipulation –an entire weekend with Sean at his mercy.

Review:  Short, Sexy and Steamy…………….  MY THREE FAVORITE COLORS!

Sean Whitcomb is up for a promotion at his law firm, the test is a dinner for the bosses with his partner to prove his family values. Sean could burn water, but his ex lover Isaiah is a world-class chef, so he calls in a favor. Isaiah Waterston has never gotten over the betrayal he felt when Sean left him to pursue his career ten years ago. So when Sean asks him to pretend to be his lover for the weekend and cook a meal for the bosses, Isaiah is hesitant. He makes an asinine comment about topping Sean in exchange for his help, and immediately regrets it when Sean agrees.

Dinner is a huge success as is dessert that consists of Sean laid out naked on the dining room table for Isaiah’s tasty treat. The two spend a whirlwind, sex filled weekend together and Sean is more than eager to make his pasts mistakes right. But Isaiah is not buying it and leaves while Sean sleeps and to add salt to the wound, he doesn’t return his texts or calls. Can Sean convince Isaiah that he still loves him, he’s changed, and he’d give up everything he’s worked ten years to build for another chance with him? Or was one last hoorah all Isaiah was in this for?

I have a newfound fascination with interracial M/M novels and novellas, and Dessert did not disappoint! A fast, fun read with some jaw dropping sticky sex on the table that involves bananas and ice cream. The story centers around the present situation with Sean trying to get his lover back, attempting to make up for past mistakes. But there’s enough of the past and their individual current lives sprinkled in to add a little depth to the story. If you’re looking for a quick read that ends with a cold shower, this is the book for you! J

Review:  ARC copy supplied through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

“Look, Blondie. I’m not asking you to bottom, just to navigate.”

“Jesus, Caspar. I’m not asking you to top me, just to talk.”

This is the relationship as a whole between our two ML, Caspar (Big Boy) and Nate (Blondie). They talk to each other like they talk to no one else; they have a dry, witty banter back and forth that will make you chuckle; they get on each other’s nerves like no other and they love each other fiercely.

Caspar Cannon is a Commander in the new world army that makes up the government in the world Warren has created. Sexual deviant behavior is forbidden and punishable by death, this most definitely includes homosexuality. Caspar has always known that “tits didn’t do it for him” but his safety net is his career in Alpha Company, so he hides his secret well. Stolen moments in an underground club are his only outlet to his hidden desires, this is where he first see’s Blondie. Sexy, tall with blonde shoulder length hair, and deep blue eyes, Blondie stirs something inside Caspar that he tries to keep hidden.

Nathaniel Rice is a technical genius, a company executive and the son of a very powerful person. When rebels breech Alpha, Caspar is charged with escorting Nate to safety, imagine his surprise when they meet and he comes face to face with the one man he wants more than anything, Blondie. Thrust together by circumstance, Caspar and Nate begin a dangerous affair that could cost them both their lives if discovered.

As the story progresses both men open up more to each other every day, begin to trust one another, and have a LOT of smoking hot sex in tents and against various trees as well as the hood of a truck! Nathaniel falls hard and quick, but Caspar is not so easily trusting. He fears that if he opens up and lets Nate in he’ll be hurt, or worse killed for his indiscretions. A group of rebels that call themselves the Freelanders offer protection and solace for the lovers on the run, and not only do they not care about their relationship, they welcome it.

Both men still hold on to a deep secret though, secrets that could destroy their yet still fragile relationship. And when a betrayal from someone they thought they could trust lands Nate back within his father’s grasp and Caspar in a cell, will their love survive the trial?

In His Command is a dark and sexy story with several twists and turns along the way. The dystopian world that Warren has created is eerily believable and strategically realistic. Caspar and Nate are protective, loyal, and strong not only for each other, but for the people they call family and friends as well. Strong secondary characters round out the cast and provide a stellar story about a world that is based on homophobia and fear, and how two men that love each other change everything, including each other.

Romance, mystery, suspense and some oh my good god sex make this novel a must read for fans of the genre!

Review:  Chase was devastated when his boyfriend decided he liked girls more than boys. So much so that he proposed to one. At the local coffee shop he meets a man that makes him feel things he hasn’t felt in quite a while. Frank is oh so sexy and sets a fire in Chase’s pants he’d long forgot he could feel. He’s devastated once again when he learns not only is Frank married, but he’s married to Chase’s newest client, and once again it’s a woman.

He doesn’t want to want Frank and he gives a valiant effort at maintaining his self-control. A naughty rendezvous in Chase’s office changes everything and Chase immediately regrets his momentary lapse in judgment. But there is just something about Frank that he can’t resist. If only Chase would listen to Frank when he tries to explain his situation, but Chase is still reeling over his last heart-break.

This is a short, cute and sexy love story that is sure to please all you hopeless romantics out there. I’m loving this new trend I’m seeing in Novellas where the author is finding new ways to make the story sexy and appealing, without full on sex all the time. James created a really sexy afternoon romp in Chase’s office with lots of attraction and tenderness without the actual act taking place. Don’t get me wrong, I do love me some hot and steamy guy on guy action and eventually Chase and Frank will get them some, it was just nice to have the scene in Chase’s office play out the way it did. So, yes, definitely recommend this one!
