Blurb: Something evil is going down in Atlanta…

Adrian Broussard and Greg Woodhall are attending OutlantaCon, Atlanta’s annual gay geek conference, and are looking forward to a weekend of cosplay and general nerdy fun. As they mingle with other conference goers, though, Adrian feels a strange, cold energy emanating from a man dressed as a satyr.

Encounters with storybook creatures roaming the streets only increase the chilly tendrils teasing Adrian’s sixth sense—strong enough to cause disturbing visions of Greg’s existence being erased.

When a girl at the conference goes missing, then turns up dead, clues literally drop in their laps as Adrian begins to fear the cold, alien energy is engulfing the whole city. And in danger of swallowing up his lover. To Adrian’s horror, his worst nightmare is realized.

Now both he and Greg must call on reserves of strength and resourcefulness they never knew they possessed to save Atlanta, and each other.

Review: Each book in the Mojo Mysteries collection features Adrian and Greg. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters from Bay City Paranormal Investigations also, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. In fact I would start with Bay City first because that is where you will meet our sexy men.
Our sexy duo is attending Outlanta Con conference for pretty much gay geeks. They get to dress up and have fun, plus some hot sex. What is better than that? Well until Adrian’s mojo hits. There is some strange things happening and boy they need to find out what.

Then a girl is murdered and the murderer is just a young man. A young man who has no idea of what the hell is going on. Adrian and Greg know he is innocent, and then Greg ends up in an alternate time. Wow things are going to heat up.

Adrian will do anything and everything to get his love back, including going there and bringing him back. He will have to deal with a creepy escalator and a freaky cop to get his man. Whereas poor Greg is just trying to keep alive from all of the strange creatures he is coming across.

I loved the warning that comes with this book which to me gives you more entertainment. It has weird critters, Hell-Lanta, regular Atlanta, creepy escalators, cosplay geeks, temples and mojo powers.

I had a blast reading this. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me almost everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this story. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: I have been reading romance stories from the time I could read. I really got into it when I was around twelve and had a collection of thousands. It wasn’t until about three years ago when I came across m/m romance books. At first my thoughts were ok but not going to be as good as a normal romance. Let me just say they went over my expectations and I was caught.

There is so much more going on in one of these stories and I started collecting. Now I have come across Shelly and I have to tell you she has rated up there on my top list. So I knew when I got this book that I would not be disappointed at all.

I loved Elijah and my heart broke for him. He had lost his high school boyfriend to death and had tried to hide it all. The violence that the gay youth are assaulted with makes one want to go out and just kick some ass that is for sure. So when he attends a fundraiser for a LGBT youth center he wasn’t sure what would happen. He met Adam and his heart starts beating once more. Then a child is hurt and he has to find a way to cope with it all.

Adam had gone through a horrible child hood and beat the odds. He had decided to build a youth center for gay children and help those who needed help. Then he meets the sexy Elijah and is drawn in. The problem is he can’t get Elijah to turn to him. It is up to Elijah to figure out what is going to happen.

You can feel Adam’s hesitation and frustration. You can also feel Elijah’s fears and his needs. One man out and proud whereas the other is hiding himself because of his past. The loss of a love and the pain of a child are just too much to bear. They come to a cross way and there is a challenge each other is needing to meet before they can come together in the end.

What makes this book even more special is the fact that it makes you feel like you are there watching it all go down. It is like the guys are your best friends going through the pain, heart ache, the renewal, the hope and then the heat that comes between them. It comes off so real that you just want to smack them upside the heads sometimes.

I had fun with it and I know that you will too. I loved it and look forward to reading the next book.

Why his nosy sister would gift him with a pass for the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb is anybody’s guess, let alone expect Leo to make it through in one piece. Review: I came across Toni awhile back and I was always amazed by her gift at giving you a story. The way the characters come across and their stories always makes me wished I was with them. With my stories I must say that I love when there is some humor in it. It always makes a better book to me.

So when Leo sister gave him a pass to the bridge climbing, and Leo is scared of heights I wasn’t sure if my chair would hold me. Leo is afraid of heights, I mean terrified of them. He gets the whole effects added in. Heart pounding, palms sweating, trouble breathing and spots before the eyes effect. Now it isn’t really a sight you would want a sexy man to see. Especially if that man makes you feel similar effects but with a different outcome.

Hot and sexy is all I can say.

Ryan thinks working is all that is important. He changes his mind when he meets Leo and realizes that this sexy man not only needs his help but he turns him the hell on. Hot damn give me some more.
I must admit that if I had a sister that was the way Teresa did I think I would be an only child. Then you add in her husband and the whole family is wacked. I had a blast with this book and look forward to reading the next story.

Now to the other news about this story. It does come off a bit rushed and not finished though. That is the only part of the story that got me. It seemed a bit like it was not thought out completely or Toni didn’t put her whole heart into it. Now with that, for me I had a blast with it.

Toni never disappoints me in her books and I don’t expect that this series will be any different. It gave me almost everything I could want in a story and I would definitely recommend it.

Review: Hot damn you have men in uniforms, and the best is they are Navy Seals. Each book in the Unexpected collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Each story is well written, with characters that not only draw you in, but captivate your heart. You can usually tell when someone writes with their feelings and not just for money, this is one of those types of books. Now it was not perfect, however it did not take away from the story.

Simon had once been a sexy naval captain, that is until a group of men attacked his ship. Now he wanted paybacks. He had been forced to change his identity and to fake his death. He was also forced to work for the CIA. A job he had not wanted. He had wanted to be in the Navy. He wanted to find those men and make them pay.

He also wanted Edgar.

Edgar had always thought he would stay friends with Simon but things always come to an end. Or so he thought. When Simon showed up bloody once more well things change even more. Guess he isn’t as straight as we assumed. He has the hots for his teammate. He had told Simon earlier that he wanted him to stop showing up. It wasn’t the reason he gave though, it showed that he was growing in Edgar’s heart just a bit more.

This was full of suspense, captivating and very hot little love story that has some pain in it that will break your heart. Now I do not much care for endings that are not really an ending at all. It drives me nuts and sometimes it does the exact opposite of what an author truly wants. If I am left hanging I usually lose interest in the series real fast. Now I am not sure of this series so we will see how the next book ends.

This was a fantastic story that I loved to read. It captivated me from the first moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me almost everything I could ask for in a story. Including some hot sex.

I would definitely recommend this and can’t wait for the next book.

Novelist and war hero Tony Leonard sees private investigator Edwin Malory being mugged outside a seaman’s mission in downtown Los Angeles, so he takes him home and gives him clean clothes and access to a hot shower. It doesn’t take him long to discover Malory was hired by wealthy industrialist Linton Vanderbilt Stirling, the father of Tony’s estranged wife, Janet. The reason for this is simple: Tony’s father-in-law suspects him of drinking away his daughter’s personal fortune.

On a whim, Tony drops in on Janet one night and finds her naked, dead, and tied up, her skull beaten in. Horrified, Tony flees the scene, knowing that as her husband, he is the number one suspect in the killing. He sees only one way out. He needs to fake his own death.

Review: Skid Row Serenade is a unique mystery suspense with a historical backdrop and an old-time private detective feel. I got the Dick Casey vibe from the story. I could see the men in their hats and long coats with cigarettes and their booze.

The star of the show–oops– I mean book Is Tony Leonard. He is a man with many secrets. He is a bisexual war hero married to a rich socialite. Their marriage is open. She has a place of her own on her father’s estate where she entertains many suitors.

Tony has a drinking problem and is a novelist. He goes to the local mission and helps fellow men down on their luck. He meets Ed but soon finds out that Ed isn’t what he seems. One evening Tony pays Janet a visit to find her brutally murdered.

Ed is a private detective investigating Tony on behalf of his estranged wife’s father. He finds himself involved in a big twisty mystery.

I never really connected with either character. I would have liked to have known more about how Tony met Janet, more details about his captivity with the Germans and how his sister-in-law got involved with her husband that also was one of his captors. It just didn’t set so well with me he was able to visit Johan as a brother-in-law knowing his past and what he had done to him.

Having said that, this was a very intriguing mystery with lots of twists and turns. It is not an easy one to guess who the murderer is.
If you like a hard to figure crime drama, mystery and suspense with a touch of romance and light off the page man-sex this is for you.

Review: This is the sixth book in A loving Nip series. A wonderful story about Cassium, a vampire, who finds an injured Angus Bull shifter, Garth, mixed with his herd.

I loved how caring and sweet Cassium was to Garth. I was appalled at what some of the members of Garth’s herd did to him. I was also angry at the way Garth’s Alpha ran his herd. It was despicable to say the least.

Garth was so sweet and innocent in most things between males and Cassium slowly showed him the wonders and joys of being with one. Tender moments between these two at times had my eyes watering. Especially when Garth was explaining about his Alpha and how he didn’t believe in mates.

I loved the scenery in this story of wide open spaces, the fresh air and the peaceful surroundings of Cassium’s home. Fantastic read with some hot sex that added a lot of heat to this already amazing story. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Highly recommended.

Review: Retribution picks up where Sacrifice left off. Even though a reader could start here and enjoy the story, I recommend starting with Sacrifice.

The length of service for trainers in the program depends on the number of successful sacrifices they are able to prepare. Due to a technicality, Kai is forced to submit one more successful sacrifice, before he is a free man.

I really enjoyed the ménage between Akran, Anna Lee and Kai, but I ended Sacrifice itching to find out who Kate Pearce would pair with the sexy warrior. From the beginning, Aled captures Kai’s attention. Their interaction definitely falls under non-consent to start with. But, despite the secrets and pain, the relationship deepens. For me, it wasn’t the inferno that swept up Akran and Anna Lee, but more of a slow burn that was just as hot.

There is a lot going on, and many plot twist really amp up the excitement level of this series. We learn more about the aliens and learn a little more about the inner workings of the program. But, a few questions were dropped and not answered.

The sex is off the chart sexy, even when it’s meant as punishment, not pleasure. And the ending had me staring at my Kindle in disbelief.

This amazing trilogy wraps up with Triumph (scheduled release date 11/07/15) and I’ve already pre-ordered my copy. Mainly, because my bloodthirsty ass is hoping and praying that Kate found a particularly nasty way for a certain asshole to die…cuz some people just need killing.

Review:Rough Road” is the second book in Vanessa North’s “Lake Lovelace” series, but if you don’t read the first book, “Double Up” first, you won’t be lost. Having read it myself, though, I do recommend you give it a go.

I loved Ben and Davis and adored Ben’s best friend, Eddie, a supporting character who generated his own little spotlight. News of a book about Eddie was a delightful surprise; I could not wait to get my hands on it! For all my excitement, Eddie and Wish (short for Aloysius) did not disappoint.

Flirty kinky Eddie is out and proud. Adorable and direct, you never know what he’s going to say. He’s even more fun to read now that he’s got his own story. And Wish… Wish is the stuff my dreams are made of. Young, hot and just as kinky, he’s perfect for Eddie. Forty-four year old Eddie and twenty-four year old Wish are a May December fantasy come to life for this reader (I do LOVE that trope)!

So… the kink. Let’s talk pain kink. There is no typical Dom-sub relationship here; this one is pure sadomasochism. Eddie the unapologetic pain slut is the perfect companion to Wish, who gets off on giving him what he wants. From chance meeting to sexy exploits, this one night hook up continues beyond anything they imagine; their instant attraction blossoms into something real.

Rough and raunchy sex turned into love – who could ask for more?
Outside of the bedroom is where the conflicts arise – their struggle to get past their differences (political, financial, and emotional) is their Rough Road. Though at first their differences seem to be insignificant, deeper issues lie beneath the surface. Much to this reader’s relief, Eddie and Wish work past it all, and they do navigate the way to their HEA.

This is another winning read from Vanessa North, one of the few authors that make first person present tense seamless and easy to read, in my opinion. Truth be told, I haven’t read anything from this author I don’t like, and this book is no different.

Filled with romance, sweet sexy moments and fun-loving kink, Eddie and Wish made my day. Pleasure, pain and piercings – What’s not to love?

Rough Ride is an easy recommendation, as is Vanessa North. Hop on board for a sweet romance with some kinky fun – you won’t regret it.

Review: Each book in the Lykaios collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

I must admit that this series has a different type of tone to it that makes it a bit off to me. Although it doesn’t take away from the story at all. The first time I read Frey was with the first book to this series, and at first I wasn’t sure what to expect. The gods cursed them to spend his life on Lykaois Island. After a thousand years though, fate decided it was time to let the guys love and receive love. To find their mates after so long is a blessing for the guys.

Nicodemus was a warrior all the way. He was strong-willed and strong in body. He was an ass, hot and ill-tempered most of the time. However after a thousand years he finally grew up. All he wanted was his mate, especially after watching his alpha and another pack mate find their mates. He knew who his mate was. He just had to get the courage to approach Addison.

Addison worked for the company that was building the hotel on Lykaois Island. He had been in a relationship that was not healthy for him. He had needed to escape and he had done that. Two years and he still felt like he was going to be forced back. Then he has found out that he is mated to one of the sexy wolves. Now he just had to let Nico know what was going on and pray that it would be ok. He should have known that wolves mate for life.

This book just grabs your attention from the moment you start reading and keeps it there till you have read every word. Hell my attention is caught by the cover right off the bat. This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.

I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story.

Review: Caleb is working his way through college by any means necessary. He is a good guy, smart, with attainable goals. He never factored in considering someone else’s feelings on how he made his money. When he meets Patton at the bar where he is a part-time bar tender, full-time, off the books, rent boy, there is a definite mutual attraction.

And when Caleb accepts an offer for a massage at the salon Patton works at, he starts to consider the possibility of something more for the first time in a long time. Then Patton makes an off the cuff remark and sinks the ship before it ever leaves the docks.

This has to be my favorite story and coupling in this series thus far. The story unfolds at the perfect pace, each piece of the puzzle being turned at the right time. The struggle Caleb faces was not only real, believable, it was painful. I loved the fact that he realized selling his body wasn’t the best line of work, but refused to be put down or looked down on because he pursued the only option he was given.

Patton pissed me off early on, but then Grace did a fantastic job of humbling him and showing how he struggled with his attraction to Caleb, equal only to his disdain of Caleb’s choice of profession.

Narrated by Tim Todd, and though it was my first listen with this narrator, it won’t be my last. He really captured the true voice for the characters. I could feel Caleb’s frustration and Patton’s indecision throughout the story. I thought it was poetic justice that Patton’s lying, cheating ex was read as a sniveling jackass, much like his character!

Emotional and engaging with a small dose of angst. Definitely a must read if you are a fan of Aria Grace and/or this series. Perhaps it will become your favorite as well.

I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table for the next couple in this series.

Being warned by his new team mates of the tough rules and hard training routines, Todd is undeterred. But when he discovers that the player’s way of bonding borders on the sexual, and that he must learn to accept the erotic affections that connect the team together, he wonders how far he can go for his dream.

But, after experiencing the care and attention men can give to each other, Todd feels awakened. Learning that each player has a special “partner” on the team, who they play and bond with as intimately as lovers, Todd becomes fascinated with the idea.

And when he develops feelings for one player in particular, he discovers how a stronger kind of romance – that between two men – can be pure and powerful enough to bring magic and success on the pitch.
