Tellumo Magnamater is a fresh-out-of-college, first-year English teacher at Salt Lick County High School in Kentucky. He rides the bus to and from work, and every day he walks to the gym behind his small efficiency apartment to exercise. Perhaps because of being raised by two lesbians, Tellumo is attracted to older men. He sets his sights on fifty-something available bachelor Oliver Crumbly. But Tellumo isn’t the only resident interested in Oliver.
Peggy Tucker, a widow approaching her sixtieth birthday, is determined to marry again, and she thinks Oliver is her perfect match. Despite Tellumo and Peggy striking up a friendship at the gym, neither realizes they are interested in the same man. But the joke might be on both of them. Oliver, a retired history teacher, is the original crotchety old man who hates everything and everybody—especially young people.
Title: Ghost Series: The Power of Zero, #2 Author: Jackie Keswick Genre: Contemporary Length: 112 pages Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (February 10, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: Jack Horwood doesn’t do families. Or Christmas. From the time his mother sold him to her pimp to the moment he walked out on the man he loved, Christmas has always been about change and painful choices. This year seems no different. Helping Daniel and Nico recover from their imprisonment and hunting down those responsible puts Jack in a frame of mind he doesn’t want to inflict on anyone. Least of all Gareth and the tentative relationship they’ve started to rebuild.
But Gareth, for whom Christmas is all about new beginnings, won’t let Jack take the easy way out. He makes him face his ghosts instead. Even when said ghosts invade their bedroom.
When Daniel’s parents are found, Jack is determined to settle the matter without involving Daniel at all. But fate decrees otherwise, and it’s Gareth who helps him finally understand that the strongest bonds are those forged together.
Once he gets that, Jack can step up and make a decision designed to lay his ghosts to rest—for good.
Review:Each book in this series focus on one romantic couple and two teenagers, so I would suggest reading book one first. It makes for a more enjoyable read, as well as giving you some background into why the guys do the things they do and why they are the way they are.
Jack doesn’t really do families, because at one time his mother had sold him to her pimp. He had tried to get over it, but after rescuing Daniel and Nico it has come back to the present.
He had also been in the military, but had thought that he was the one responsible for getting Gareth killed. He still has flash backs from it. However he is moving forward the best he can. With Gareth’s help he is looking towards the future. He looks forward to helping Daniel and Nico the most.
When Daniel’s family shows up in the picture he has to find a way to stop them from wrecking another child’s life. Gareth shows him that as a family they can do more together than apart.
When I read the first book I wasn’t really sure if I was into this story as I should have been, but after reading this story I have to say I can’t wait for the next story. I felt so bad for the kids and what they had gone through, and I have to say that it will have you in tears.
Also Jack’s past is horrible and I was surprised that he had been as loving as he was. This story caught my attention from the first and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me almost everything I could want in a story and I would definitely recommend it.
I loved how the characters were fully developed and showed so much heart in them that I was amazed. It felt like I was right there with them while they were going through it all. I enjoyed it so much that I can’t wait to see what other stories this author has out.
I do hope that there is a third book in this series because I want to see where they go from here.

Title: Conversation Hearts Series: N/A Author: Avon Gale Genre: Daydreams/ Contemporary/ Holiday Length: 31 pages Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (Feb 10 21016) Heat Level: explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥ 3 Hearts Blurb: It’s Valentine’s Day, and grad student—and male escort—Levi Barron expects to spend his evening with a client who’s paying him for his services in bed… not an assassin who needs to borrow the view from his hotel room in the morning.
With nothing to do but endure the company of his unwanted guest, Levi and the assassin, Sinjin, spend some time bonding over HGTV, minibar beverages, Flannery O’Connor short stories, terrible Valentine’s candy, and the necessity of lying about their jobs.
Their evening takes an unexpected turn when they decide to indulge in their mutual attraction, and in the morning Levi doesn’t know if he’s spent the night with a hired killer or a hydraulic engineer with a very specific fantasy. Either way, the two have enough chemistry—in and out of bed—that Levi isn’t sure one night with Sinjin will be enough.
And a message left in candy suggests the feeling is mutual.
Review: Levi is a male escort that seems to have been stood up. He decides to use the amenities of the room to study when a man dressed in black comes in. The man appears to be an assassin.
SinJin didn’t think the room he entered for a job was empty. Instead, he found a sex, smart male escort. His job isn’t till morning, so he spends the night with Levi watching HGTV, raiding the mini bar, and talking.
I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. The story was good, but it felt off. First of all, Levi was much too calm and second it’s unbelievable an assassin would leave a witness alive.
On the other hand, if you think of it as one of his client’s fantasy, it is hot.
The overall story is good, the characters interesting, the sex is scorching. So, if you like male escorts, assassins, fun romance and scorching hot man-sex, this is for you.

Title: Dormant Heart Series: N/A Author: Lane Swift Genre: Contemporary Length: 136 pages Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (Feb 10th 2016) Heat Level: Low/Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥3.5 Hearts Blurb: Amateur photographer Josh Thornton is out but not so proud. He’s estranged from his family, his boyfriend dumped him, and his job at an estate agency is in jeopardy—especially after he crashes his boss’s car in the middle of nowhere on his way to Hartley Manor.
Callum Black works at the English country estate and lives there in an isolated cottage. Left mute by a childhood accident, he’s more comfortable in the company of animals than people. But when Josh—literally—crashes into his life with his camera and his friendship, Callum realizes his peaceful solitude has been more than a little lonely.
Josh’s affection for Callum deepens even as he’s consumed by doubts over Callum’s sexuality and whether Callum could ever love him. And Callum is haunted by the secret that stole his voice—a secret that keeps him tethered to Hartley Manor.
When the past comes hurtling painfully back into the present, Josh and Callum have to overcome their fears and breathe life back into their dormant hearts in order to have a chance at their own picture-perfect future.
Review: This book is very different from what I’m used to usually reading, and that’s not a bad thing. Callum and Josh’s relationship has a purity and otherworldliness about it that’s not usually seen in most MM books.
Josh is an aspiring photographer whose daily job is that of a real estate agent. He is not happy with his life. He thinks his boss hates him. And his boyfriend recently broke up with him. The day Josh met Callum started pretty badly. His boss sent him out on the field to take pictures of some real estate, the road to his destination is flooded, and he ends up crashing his boss’s car and having to walk through the woods to get to his appointment. But all his misfortune simply disappears when Josh sees Callum for the first time.
Callum is a very special, tenderhearted young man. An accident from his childhood prevents him from speaking, and doctors can’t figure out what’s causing it. Callum seems very otherworldly. In fact, I think he’s the character that gives his and Josh’s relationship that otherworldly quality. Callum is like an animal whisperer. His easy relationship with wild animals is what captivates Josh to start with.
Callum also lives very modestly in a cottage with no electricity, no shower, and no stove. That part I had trouble accepting, because I doubt that someone would choose to live that way in this day and age, when they have better conditions offered.
Callum and Josh’s relationship progresses slowly because no matter how attracted Josh is to Callum, Callum’s sexuality is not immediately common knowledge. It wasn’t until the second half of the book that we find out more about Callum. This book has dual POVs, both Callum and Josh’s. The first half of the book is entirely from Josh’s POV, while in the second half we get to know who Callum really is.
While this book is beautiful and the guys are adorable, some things prevented me from loving it. I believe I know where the culprit lays. The storytelling seemed almost poetic in its description. The characters’ voice is loud and clear considering the story is told in 1st person POV, but I couldn’t help but feel like they were reciting a poem in the way they were expressing themselves.
Also, the reason for Callum’s accident as a child is not only confusing, but hard to understand. I can’t say much about it without spoiling the story, but I definitely didn’t understand why the events that took place had frightened Callum so much. I honestly didn’t think it was that big of a deal and was definitely expecting something much, much worse, considering the nature of his nightmares.
Overall this was a pretty good book that I liked and enjoyed.
Recommended!

Title: Beautiful Red Series: Brac Pack Next Gen, #3 Author: Lynn Hagen Genre: Paranormal/ Shape-shifter/ Vampires/Werewolves Length: 75 pages Publisher: Siren/Bookstrand Publishing (February 8, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: Avery Collins wants a docile, chivalrous mate, but gets Navarez Espelimbergo instead. As a vampire, Rez is intimidating enough, but whenever the man is near, Avery feels as if he’s being branded by the tall, dark, and handsome man.
Navarez was kidnapped and tortured as a teenager. He hasn’t been able to get past the nightmares that still haunt him. He lives with chaos as a constant companion, that is, until he meets Avery, a cat shifter who quiets the demons inside of him and shines light into Rez’s dark world.
When Avery mysteriously disappears, it’s up to Rez to find his mate. He tracks down his mate who is in the clutches of the same man who tortured him all those years ago.
Worse, Avery is dying and Jaden shows up to claim his soul, but Rez isn’t giving his mate up so easily, not when Avery is carrying his child.
Review: Each book in the Brac Pack Next Gen collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. This is also branched off from her previous series. These are the children of the original men so if you want the full effect start off with Brac Pack, Brac Village, Zeus’s Pack, Christian’s Coven, and so on. You will see the fathers in the serious at some point, or at least that is what I have seen in these two stories so far.
Several years ago when Rez was a teenager he had been abducted by a demon who changed Rez from who he was to who he is now. At twenty-four it was time to get on with his life, but his fathers were not so easy to get them to agree. Ceri was one scary vampire but his father had reason to be scared. He has decided to move in with Matthew and the others. What he finds is his gorgeous mate. A mate that is going to be shocked as hell.
Avery had been abducted and dangled from a rope off of a freaking bridge. He was no longer going to be afraid. Yeah right, at the first signs of something different he will faint. He wanted a mate that was peaceful, docile, chivalrous and easy to get along with. What he got was one scary ass vampire who looked like he would eat him. Avery was a beautiful cat shifter who is as sweet as can be. Boy is he in for more shocks.
The demon from the past is determined to tear Rez apart, but he is going to see that his mate dies. It is up to the family to save Avery. When Jaden shows up to take Avery’s soul, there is hell to pay. No one is going to get Avery or their child.
What makes this story even better is the fact that Rez is a part of Christian’s linage so he can get his mate pregnant. There is nothing better than a man who can have a baby. Cracks me up every time.
I can’t wait to read the next story.

Mikah Malloy is living proof. His mother and father were both killed during their individual attempts to assassinate the pride leader of Ariel Estates, Silas Murdoch.
Now after the dust has settled on his bloodstained family’s name, Mikah must face life alone among his fellow lion shifters. But Silas and his mate, Theo, have decided a vacation in Alaska is just what the doctor ordered to help Mikah come to terms with his grief and his plans for the future. The only snag with their plan is trouble always has a way of finding Mikah, no matter where he runs.
Gideon Haven, eldest son of the Haven pack’s alpha, would give his soul for a way off the ice. But when a hunter is out to eradicate his pack one by one, skinning them alive for their wolf pelts, Gideon can’t just walk away.
The predators have now become the prey, but they’re determined to hunt down the poacher out to slaughter Theo and Gideon’s pack. As for Mikah, he’s more than ready for the job. Putting one’s life on the line isn’t a hardship when you don’t care whether you live or die.
Even though the heat between Gideon and Mikah becomes nearly impossible to resist, Mikah is determined the tenacious wolf isn’t about to get close enough to break the ice around his heart
Review:Each book in the Ariel Estates collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
I love the way Jessica put together this book that not only fascinated me but kept my attention the whole time. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by this author. My attention was caught with the first sentence and I just couldn’t put the book down.
Mikah’s father planned to assassinate their Alpha but failed. When his mother tried to, he shoved her away but ended up killing her. He felt guilty and couldn’t seem to come back from it. So Silas suggested a trip to Alaska with them. It would change his life in more ways than one.
Gideon was the eldest son of his pack, but he had no desires to be Alpha. Thankfully, he had a twin that could do it. He wanted to travel and experience the world. Things didn’t go as plan, especially after meeting Mikah.
Mikah was not only stuck in the past, but feared coming out. He knew that if he was to get his man, he would have to push him just a bit. Too bad his ex kept popping up at the wrong time. They had hunters killing pack mates, and there was a traitor amongst them.
So they had to deal with more than one idiot at a time. Then something tragic happened, and Gideon is left to take the Alpha position. Mikah had to make a choice.
I love the way all the feelings they felt were involved in this story.
It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Hungry and tired from not being able to find work, Callum is lured off the road, into the Moors the will-o-wisp. He finds himself bespelled by the Barrow Eright, rescued by Liam and brought back to Donal’s farm.
But is he really safe from the Barrow -Wright there?
This story moves very fast, is full of mysterious, magical creatures and lots of sweltering hot, wild sex The story is very- well written, and I cannot imagine the research it took to do this story. However, I am going to have to admit this story wasn’t my cup of tea.
I had some trouble figuring out what all the creatures and places were even with the dictionary on my Kindle, which didn’t pull up a lot of the words. I am going to admit where I do read some fantasy it’s also not my favorite genre.
I read it because Dianne is one of my favorite authors and this story is in keeping with her style. Very hot and a bit scary.
If you like fantasy, folklore, Fae creatures, wild, raw sex, you will like this.

Title: Long Time Gone Series: Hell or High Water, #2 Author: S.E.Jakes Genre: Romantic Suspense Length: 1 hour 5 minutes Publisher: Riptide Publishing (Audible Studios 12-16-15) Narrator: Adam North Heat Level:Explicit Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: From New York Times best-selling author Stephanie Tyler, writing as S. E. Jakes….
Soldier of fortune Prophet Drew’s always worked alone – until Tom Boudreaux became his partner. But when Tom walked away three months ago, ostensibly to keep Prophet safe, Prophet learned the true meaning of being alone.
Everyone knows that Prophet, a Navy SEAL turned CIA spook turned mercenary, can look after himself. Which means he must’ve driven his lover away. Even with half a world between them, Prophet can’t get the man out of his head. Maybe that’s why he’s in New Orleans in the middle of a hurricane, protecting Tom’s aunt.
But the only looter around is Tom, bursting back into Prophet’s life. It turns out that Prophet’s been stuck in Tom’s head – and heart – too. Their explosive reunion gets even hotter when Tom is arrested for murder. As they fight to clear his name, they delve deep into his past, finding enemies among everyone they meet.
Staying alive in such a dangerous world is hard enough, but they soon discover that fighting to stay together is the most difficult thing they’ve ever done.
Review: Tom has been trying hard to reach out to Prophet to no avail. It’s as if the man has disappeared. When a hurricane hits his home, he has to check on his aunt even if it is a big risk to him. When he arrives, he is shocked to see the one man he both longed to see and was so angry with.
I liked this story even better than the last. We get more insight into both men’s pasts and lots more hot man-sex. I liked Adam North’s story telling. I still am not fond of his Tom’s voice, but the new voices especially Charles the stoner was quite fun. Adam has a way that really brings excitement to the parts with emphasis and he really makes the sex scenes hot.
I really enjoyed this story. Tom and Prophet are a hot, exciting couple. I am anxious to see more secrets unravel.
If you like mystery/suspense, undercover agents, secrets and hot man-sex, you will love this!

Torn and Frayed
(Gabriel Church Tales 02)
by
Torn and Frayed
“Conscience isn’t something all people are born with…”
Gabriel Church is a portrait in contrast. It would be easy to get lost in his pale-blue eyes, ache with the need to feel the strength of his masculine frame. He appears to be nothing but animal and instinct. The only people who know the full depth of that truth are dead, murdered, or two thousand miles away.
Gabe is a serial killer. For the first time in his life, he has more on his mind than his own survival. This time he is running from Seattle to protect the only person he thinks innocent in his laundry list of crime and murder: Christian Maxwell, his biographer and unexpected lover. Drawn to a place he never thought to return, Gabe finds new and different realities. Realities that insist he let go of his tragic past, those incredible perceptions of God, and his own divinity. He must open his eyes to what the love of a good man can do to heal a broken soul.
But when the killer is confronted by his own willingness to love and sacrifice, he is forced to ultimately ask the question: Just how far will he go to save a life . . . when all he’s ever done is take them?

Title: Blue Moon Rising Series: Coyote’s Call, #3 Author: Bailey Bradford Genre: Erotic Romance/ Paranormal/ Wereshifters Length: 148 pages Publisher: Pride Publishing (February 9, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: Love can conquer all, if he’ll only believe…
Roman Jonas has spent years recovering from a violent assault when he was just a teenager. He’s worked hard, and finally found his place in the world. Now, if he can only get his coyote to agree. As a medicine man for his pack, he isn’t able to shift. It’s frustrating to say the least, but not as frustrating—or confusing—as the feelings he has for former Ranger Abraham Evans.
Abraham lost the ability to do his job effectively when he was shot. His right arm and hand are close to useless, and he’s had a hell of a time not dying over the past month. Sometimes it seems like it’d be so much easier to just give up, but a certain hazel-eyed man has captured his heart, and it won’t stop beating.
When Abraham is discharged from the hospital, he moves to Del Rey to be closer to Roman, and because he has no one else in his life who truly cares about him.
Slowly, he and Roman begin a tentative friendship that turns into something more enduring than they’ve ever dreamed of, but enemies from the past threaten everything and everyone Roman and Abraham love.
Reader Advisory: This book contains reference to past sexual assault.
Roman and Abraham have been through traumatic events. But both are slowly recovering. Roman is doing all he can to overcome what happened to him and become the best medicine man he can though he is deeply ashamed he cannot shift yet.
These two have felt something for the other since the first time they saw each other. But Abraham felt he couldn’t be with Roman so he appointed himself as Roman’s protector until he is shot.
I loved the emotional aspect of this story that shows two people who have been damaged in some way but beat the odds and come out stronger.
There is also danger, action and suspense as the hunt is on for those who attacked Roman and shot Abraham.
It was a truly great read that blended all aspects so good that it captures the reader’s attention from the start and does not let go until the very last word.
It was powerful, intense yet caring. I loved the twist regarding Abraham and his past. Very well written and a great addition to the Coyote’s Call series as Bailey Bradford delivers another masterpiece for all to love.
Highly recommended. Can’t wait to see what is in store next in this fantastic series.

Title: Rattrap Series: The Wyverns, #3 Author: L.M. Somerton Genre: Romantic Suspense Length: 65 pages Publisher: Pride Publishing (February 9, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: Sometimes the only way to spring a trap is to use live bait.
Teddy Austin has had more than his share of run-ins with local law enforcement. The Wyverns have a reputation to maintain, and Teddy feels it’s his duty to cause havoc whenever possible. Of course, getting arrested means time in the company of Sheriff Adrian Hayder—always a bonus—though Teddy would far prefer to have the sheriff wearing the cuffs.
When The Knights of War MC arrives in Phoenix, Trap orders The Wyverns to get inside information. In order to infiltrate the gang, Teddy must appear to betray his friends and switch his allegiance. Working undercover, however, he confirms what they have all suspected—The Knights of War are a cover for something much more sinister than a hell-raising bunch of bikers, and they fully intend to turn Phoenix into a battleground.
With Sheriff Hayder getting far too close to the truth, Teddy is left with a few problems—how to stop a war, keep his balls intact and ensure the man he loves keeps breathing.
I have to say I absolutely loved it. Teddy, a member of The Wyverns, has been intentionally getting himself arrested for two reasons so he can see a certain sexy sheriff Haydar who he wants badly. Teddy is also recruited to go undercover and find out just who and what the Knights of War are up to.
All is not as it appears with the group and if they succeed in their plans there will deadly consequences. I loved the fast pace and high adrenaline scenes in this book as Teddy learns little by little about the group. Sheriff Haydar is tough yet plays hard to get which I found funny.
It was a great addition to this series that had me enthralled from the start. I could not put it down until the very end. Fantastic story with a lot of action, mystery, suspense, and great sex scenes.
Highly recommended.

Title: Love at Roades End Series: NA Author: Kris T. Bethke Genre: Daydreams/ Contemporary/ Holiday Length: 32 pages Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (Feb 9th, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts Blurb: Sean Newvine is looking forward to his weekend at Roades End Inn so he can review his stay there for inclusion on his travel website. What he never expects is for the owner, Hunter Roades, to capture his attention from the very start.
The only problem is Hunter thinks Sean’s been sent by his brother on a blind date so that Hunter doesn’t have to spend Valentine’s Day alone. Once the awkward misunderstanding is resolved, Sean is charmed by Hunter’s formality and hospitality. And when they have a chance to really talk, sparks fly.
A passion-filled night has them both wanting more, but Hunter pulls away knowing Sean doesn’t live in town and the distance might be more than they can overcome.
Sean and Hunter must figure out if they can make it work for longer than one night, or if their chance at love will end at Roades End Inn before it can begin.
Review: Sean is enjoying his perk of a free weekend in a B&B for the travel blog he works for. It is a beautiful place, and so is the owner.
Hunter is embarrassed at his outburst, assuming the cute guy coming in was sent by his brother as a Valentine’s Day gift.
The two men hit it off well, but can their attraction last more than the weekend?
I really liked this story. I loved the descriptions of the hotel, the town and the way the relationship went with Hunter and Sean. The story is well-written and cute.

Title: Predator and Prey Series: The Shifters #9 Author: M.D. Grimm Genre: Paranormal Romantic Suspense Length: 107 pages) Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (January 13, 2016) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts Blurb: Vietnam War vet turned deep-sea treasure hunter Digger Sullivan scratches out a living, and this new commission is just another job—albeit an exciting one—off the Florida coast in 1977. But while exploring the area, Digger and his crew encounter a lot more sharks than they expected.
Reef and his shark shifter clan are charged with protecting a vital, magical secret—two of four scrolls that, when brought together, could annihilate shifters across the world. But Reef can’t keep his head in the game around this intriguing diver, and it’s not long before Digger takes one of the scrolls topside. Reef now has two missions: seduce Digger and recapture the scroll. Despite his attraction to Digger, Reef’s priority must be reclaiming the scroll.
But when Reef’s true identity is exposed, Digger is scared and appalled and rejects him.
Yet Digger might change his mind when his crew is captured by the very person who commissioned them, and Reef and his shark clan are the only things standing between them and death.
Review: I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. This is the only series that I have read by this author that I have read and I can tell you that M.D. Grimm’s books will go in my automatic favorite pile.
Although I must admit sharks are not one of my favorite creatures but then again I watched all of the Jaw’s movies. There are scrolls left in the ocean to be guarded by the shark shifters. They had been once placed in a falcon’s hands to keep safe, but when his mated died he wanted to follow.
Then the ship taking him across the ocean crashed and his scrolls were at the bottom of the ocean. The shark promised to keep them safe. It was now Reef’s duty to protect them. However he wants a human time too, but when a group of humans start searching he finds himself attracted to the captain.
Digger was a war vet who had decided that the ocean was his life now. He had expected to find treasures and sharks but not shark shifters. He was slowly falling in love with Reef, but Reef was keeping secrets. When the ship is attacked, Reef shows him who he truly is and Digger reacted as a human would. After some time, he knew he had to fix what he had done.
I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Matters are further complicated when Jared’s mother arrives with the goal of taking all of her sons back with her.
Review:Each book in the Itayu Lake collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Logan has always wanted a mate so when he found the place he wanted to be his home. He was shocked to find his mate shortly after. However his mate didn’t want him. He tried to give him time, but after the latest he wasn’t sure any longer. To find out that dragons mate without sex, he does something drastic.
Jared had been raised by a prejudice asshat and was tired of it. He had been told that he could only mate with water dragons, but he realized that he was indeed mated to a cougar. He didn’t know how to fix it, but when he sees what Logan has done he knew he had to do something. He had to help Logan heal and had to heal himself. It turns out that something else had been done to Jared and now they needed their family and friends help to fix it.
This is only the second book by this author that I have read and I can tell you that A.M’s books will go in my automatic favorite pile. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me.
I can’t wait to read the next story.

Title: Anywhere You Go Series: Unfinished Business, # 2 Author: Keelan Ellis Genre: MMM or More, Ghosts/Spirits, Paranormal Length: 103 pages Publisher: Dreamspinner Press (December 30, 2015) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥4 Hearts Blurb: Jess Early and Eli Dunn, owners of Ruth’s Haven Bed and Breakfast, love married life. Every jealousy bump and insecure thought is just another expected growing pain. But with Jess redefining his relationship with his best friend and ex-fiancée Cassie and Eli’s friend Travis staying with the guys while going through marital problems of his own, things haven’t been feeling quite right between them.
Not to forget, the home’s ghostly previous owners, Clay Bailey and Silas Denton, still reside in their former bedroom and delight in making their presence known—including invading Travis’s dreams in an attempt to help. They give Travis a vivid glimpse of their adventurous trip to Paris in the early 1960s and some insight about his marriage.
With tensions mounting, Eli’s father suffers a heart attack. Now Jess and Eli must remain strong and at the same time confront their evolving feelings. The young couple’s struggles become a lesson in the true meanings of love, loyalty and marriage.
Review:This is the second book in Unfinished Business.
Jess and Eli are happy and content with their lives. I really liked this couple. They seemed genuine in their feelings for the other.
But like all relationships there are issues that need to be worked through. One seems to come around in the form of Travis, Eli’s friend, who is also having issues with his husband and decides to get away for a while to think.
I found it funny and amusing that even Clay and Silas promised to leave Travis alone that was not the case. They sent him erotic dreams that actually helped him with his own relationship in the end.
I loved how the story flowed smoothly from the ghosts intermingling with the living. It was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Review:Each book in Rescue for Hire collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading or in this case listening the series in sequential order.
Darcy is a new narrator for me, not hearing the voice until I listened to book one. Now I must admit that there is something missing but it is still an enjoyable story. I do love how the characters are brought to life and that each voice is distinctive that you can tell them all apart. I do look forward to hearing Darcy tell the story.
Although I could have done without the female in the story. She was a bitch and a complete lush to me. I didn’t much care for her at all, and when she spoke it felt like nails on a chalk board. I tried to skip over her when I listened.
Jack is a paramedic on his team and loves to care for others. However when it is his time off he loves to party and sex is part of it. However it is about to bite him in the ass. When he rescues a sexy little teacher and several students from a crazed gun-toting kid.
However his ex-girlfriend just doesn’t want to stay gone, so it causes a bit of struggle trying to convince Brian that he wants him for life.
Brian is a sexy little guy who is not only tiny, but comes off a bit fragile. Although he is strong enough to hold his own. His family is one of the sports families and he doesn’t really fit in. Now he has a sexy man looking at him but he is still a bit leery of him.
However he is not going to let it stand in his way to be with Jack. Then something happens and it is going to take all of Rescue for Hire to get through. It looks like their days are going to get a bit more exciting.
I loved the whole story well except for the female. She just needed to be out of the story completely, she got on my nerves. I loved how Jack showed Brian that he was the important one in the relationship and not the stupid female. Although they both hit my favorite marks all the way around. I have to say that it is not my top favorite audible, but it comes in pretty close.
I would definitely recommend this audio book.

Title: My Outside, My Inside Series: Encounter Space 1 Author: Bronwyn Heeley Genre: Fantasy/ Sci-fi Length:37 pages Publisher: BonyDee Press (January 10, 2015) Heat Level: Moderate Heart Rating: ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts Blurb: “You left me!” he screamed.
Driven crazy from a childhood abduction, Mike has moved from mental institution to institution, all in the hopes of allowing him to forget his past, but little do his family and doctors know, he’s abductor wasn’t from this world, and he’s always planned on coming back.
Review: Well, I have always loved reading Bronwyn’s stories but this one was a quirky little story. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. The cover is a bit hard to like as is the title. However the blurb was catchy.
Mike had been taken as a child by someone no one would ever expect. He was returned three days afterwards only to end up in a mental institution. Now Co is back and he is where he should be.
This was cute as can be and I had so much fun reading it. I must admit I do wish that it had been longer than just this little taste. I can’t wait to read the next story.
This one was just quirky enough that my attention was definitely captivated.

Two cops walk into a bar. Mason, the bartender, waits for the punch line, because no way in hell are these ridiculously hot men real cops. They’re straight out of a cop-fetish fantasy. But he quickly learns that Jack and Gray are the real deal, and they want him in the worst way.
What starts as a night of hot, three-way sex becomes a lot more. The two cops fulfill Mason’s submissive fantasies, but they also meet a more basic need, comfort. They want to take care of Mason, to offer him unconditional friendship, but their concern for him unnerves Mason more than even the kinkiest sex.
To find happiness with his new partners, Mason must change his belief that love is as much a fantasy as a pair of gorgeous, handcuff-wielding cops landing in his bed.
