Blurb: Two childhood friends reunite for what should be a most joyous event: their wedding. Sky is a rural noble family’s son, Storm is the warrior prince of the kingdom, and they haven’t seen each other in years.

Storm, the Dragon of Vis, wedding Sky Moonborn takes the entire kingdom by surprise. Everyone opposes Storm’s choice: the king and queen, the heartbroken youths of Vis whose dreams of high status have been crushed, and the prized heirs to the kingdom’s allies. None of them, however, is so decidedly against this sudden marriage as Sky himself.

Since turning sixteen, Storm has spent his life waging war against neighboring countries and making them bow to his will. Rumors about his viciousness and unmatched talent for killing have roamed the lands of Vis and turned Sky’s heart to ice.

Amidst court intrigue, military conflicts, and an ever-decaying marriage, a whirlwind of hidden truths and feelings bind Sky and Storm together. This thunderous link seems doomed to lead only to destruction. Only a small flicker of hope promises salvation, but will either fan that flame in time?

Review: I really liked this story about Storm and Sky. Their relationship starts out non existant even though they already knew each other from when they were younger. A large part of the drift had to do with Storm’s dad. But that does not come out until later. I feel had they talked instead of ignoring each other things would have been better.

Twists and turns plus a lot of drama not to mention danger when Sky is kidnapped made for an intriguing story. My heart broke for Storm and the sacrifice he made to appease his father when he was younger but it all worked out in the end.

Good read with a great cast of characters that I cannot wait to see more of.

Review: Each book in Brac Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. What is really amazing about this series is that it has several that are branched off from this series and will give you one hell of a good time.

There is nothing better then a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Lynn can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Lynn. There is something about the way that Lynn tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story. This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break.

Cecil is bored out of his mind. All the children have left home and he is feeling that there is nothing left. That is until he takes a walk and finds a small child in a snow drift. He wants this little boy, but Maverick is being all adult and says they must find Khaos family. The thing is Khaos parents were killed and his brother is looking for him. So is the man who wants them both dead.

Shadow had to watch his parents being murdered by their leader. Now his little brother was missing and he has no idea what to do. At least he knows where to look. In looking, it leads him to his mate. A jaguar shifter who is a deputy. To get the whole taste, just read this book. However Johnny wants a kid, and it looks like he is going to drive them all crazy, right along with Cecil.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the other’s in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Lynn puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a lot of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Review: As with the other books in this series a lot is going on. Alaric is trying to live life after the unexpected way Chander left him. Secrets are slowly revealed that could threaten the council. Chander takes it upon himself to set the sentinel’s free and as a result he is in danger of loosing his leadership.

So much more happens in this riveting series. But I do have to say I am more intrigued by the four sentinel’s found secreted away in the sentinel compound than anything else. I have a suspicion that the black skeleton is either the first sentinel made or the sentinel that supposedly went on a rampage centuries before.

I really enjoyed the books in this series except for two things. One, they are long and drawn out and repetitive at times. Two, there is hardly any action in them. Aside from these things the books are awesome.

Great read.

Ant invited himself on a Vegas trip, gambling on a second chance with the man who got away. He never dreamt he’d be the one with a wedding ring on his finger, but if their predicament gets Chris talking to him again, he’ll make the most of it.

Can Jason find the courage he needs to be the man Seb deserves?

When Seb Radcliffe relocates to a seaside town in Cornwall, he feels like a fish out of water. He misses queer spaces and the sense of community he enjoyed when he was living in the city, and decides to open an LGBT-friendly cafe–bar.

Jason Dunn is the builder Seb hires to help renovate the rundown space where the cafe will be housed. Jason is also gay, but unlike Seb, he’s deep in the closet. He’s never had a relationship with another man—only allowing himself the occasional hook up with guys who are prepared to be discreet.

The attraction between the two men is instant and impossible to ignore. But while Seb is out and proud, Jason is terrified of being exposed. With the grand opening of Rainbow Place approaching, tension is growing among some locals who object to Seb’s plans. When things escalate, Jason is forced to choose whether to hide in the shadows and let Seb down, or to openly support the man he’s fallen so hard for.

Although this book is part of a series, it has a satisfying happy ending and can be read as a standalone.

Review: Each book in the Dire Pack Reborn collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Flip’s past is coming to get him. He found something to show his uncle, only for his uncle to betray him. Should have known the man was no good, but he trusted his uncle not to do what he was going to do. He took the item and ran, hoping for some kind of luck to find him. What he found was a Dire Pack that took him in. To bad his lies were about to come back to bite him in the ass.

Corey was a beta wolf for his pack and one night of passion with Flip made him want for more. Then things heat up between them, the truth comes out. He doesn’t know which way to turn and his relationship with Flip might just not survive.

I came across Stephani Hecht when she wrote her first book in the series Lost Shifters. From that point on I knew that she would become a favorite of mine, and I was right. The worlds she created for the Dire wolves is amazing, terrifying, dangerous and exciting. The characters are fully developed and damn they are hot. With Flip I could see why he did what he did both times and why he didn’t want anyone to know. His heart is big and you can see his fear.

I enjoyed reading the story and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. It is a fascinating series that will catch your attention and keep it there till the end. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this book.

But one look at Geoffrey’s haunted eyes, and he knows there’s no way he’s letting Geoffrey walk out of Ward Security without him.

Trigger warning: There is a very short section with sexual assault that some could find upsetting.

Review: We met Geoffrey in the Unbreakable Bonds series when he was infatuated with Snow and helped Luca, Ian, Snow and Rowe. Now Geoffrey needs their help as he has a stalker that won’t quite. Worse yet this stalker is taking things physical. Geoffrey is scared and knows only Sven can keep him safe.

Sven has a rule. No fraternization with the clients. Even though Sven thinks Geoffrey is cute he holds his emotions in check. Bu when Geoffrey asks for him to protect him Sven can not say no as he does not trust anyone else to keep Geoffrey safe.

Suspenseful and intriguing this story leads you into Geoffrey trying to figure out who is after him and why while refusing to let the situation make him hide away. Sven has his hands full trying to keep the man safe. The stalker took me by surprise as I thought it was someone else. It was refreshing that I was proven wrong.

Intense with twists and turns this story keep you on the edge of your seat. Wonderfully written with the right amount of hotness between Geoffrey an Sven thrown into the seriousness of the plot. I loved it an highly recommend it. But I suggest you read the Unbreakable series first as it is connected to this series.

Review: Each book in the Avanti Chronicles collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characers, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Wow, I don’t even know where to really start with this review. This has been probably the best story I have came across in a long time. It is an emotional rollercoaster for many. Hunter and Tir have finally got their happy ending, but not without a load of pain before hand.

This starts off with Chance getting caught in a trap and damn if that boy is not as strong as his family. It leads us on a very dangerous trip for our favorite guys. While Hunter and the guys are out looking for more traps and who laid them, Hunter is taken.

This forces Tir to realize his feelings for Hunter and to show him what he means to him. That is after he finds him. Which once more leads us to betrayal in the clan, severe injuries, close death encounters, Chance’s coming into a special girt and so much more. The way the author protrayed them in all their true feelings was pretty amazing. I would definitely love to have a Refrinti for myself, they are so dedicated and loyal, not to mention strong of heart. The conspiracy that shows a bit more to what they are looking at is very complex and sometimes a bit confusing.

There is a mystery just dying to be solved, pieces coming together but still a big one out of sight. The connection that the characters have with each other is truly amazing. The connection they have with the Refrinti is mind blowing, and not to mention the connection the Refrinti have with each other. This is a truly complex and I just can’t even think of the word type of story. The love these two men have for each other is hot and damn set the sheets on fire please.

I will admit that it wasn’t until I started reading this book that I wanted to go back and read the previous ones. They don’t stand out like they should, but this one brings them all back to me. I guess it just has been a long time since I had read them, that makes me wish I kept them a bit closer. I will also admit that the added chronicle part doesn’t really do it justice. However that will all definitely change, because this story made me want to go read them all right now, and then read this one over.

I had a lot of fun reading this, and will admit a bit of tears, but lots of fun. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review: I loved this story about Chander and Alaric. So much happens that it made my head spin. The mysteries were spellbinding, the way the story progressed kept me engrossed to the very end.
I did have a problem with Chander continuously mentioning his mistakes and his subsequent behavior regarding said mistakes. I think he went overboard and it honestly became aggravating to me.

Alaric, I felt so bad for. I could not believe that a race would intentionally imprison another race for thousands of years, that they created then turn around and make sure they instilled fear and hatred for said race.

I was highly disturbed by the other races complete lack of empathy for the sentinels. The necromancers who started this should pay for what they have done in my opinion. Another thing that bothered me Chander’s decision to kick Alaric to the curb after seeing a picture of Alaric with another man. First off Sentinels have no urges till they meet their mate. Then afterwards they only want said mate so I was confused as to why Chander did not remember this. For all his smarts he seemed pretty stupid to me in that regard.

I loved that Alaric was determined to make sure his race gained their freedom from the very race who had imprisoned them. This story tugged on my heart strings and had me on the edge of my seat at other times. I am looking forward to seeing what else happens in this amazing series. Each book has brought to life each character and race and tied them all together in a complex yet satisfying storyline with twist and turns and evil villains.

Great read.

Review: Each book in the Wildcat County collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

This series is actually connected to another series, Peyton City. You will get characters from both series mixing together. I will admit that this series is very complex and somewhat complicated. I will also admit that I sometimes get the guys mixed up. This is one of those stories that you must read in order and not as a stand alone type of story. The story is that complex and very fast pace. For me it is a must to read them right before I read a new one otherwise my butt gets real lost with all the characters. There is quite a bit of new characters as well as old ones and it can be a bit confusing to figure out who is who and what is what. The story is real complex for me, but still fun to read.

Landyn is a jaguar shifter who doesn’t want a mate. He is so far in the closet that he fears coming out. The thing is, his mate just so happens to be a powerful lion shifter who is going to go all out to get him. Well one night, one sweet walk, and his jaguar takes the decision out of his hands.

Emil protects those around him and wants his mate. He knows deep down his mate wants him, but getting him to admit it might be too much. To top it of the jackals are at it again.

It is a very action pact series and you never know what is going to happen next. However it is also very hard to follow also. I had trouble figuring out who was trying to cause problems but damn it was fun to figure it out.

I had a lot of fun with this book and can not wait to start the next one. I would definitely recommend it and the others.

Review: While I enjoyed this story with it’s twists and turns and trying to figure certain things out I felt the relationship aspect a little out there for me. Damian is a young man in a relationship with his former professor. Now, I do not have a problem with older and younger in a relationship. What I had the problem with was Damian acted like he could not speak up about things bothering him. Um why Not? He’s twenty. I’m sorry but I did not get it. At twenty I certainly let my feelings known when I felt something was not right.

I liked John’s character as well as Levi’s. As they both seemed a lot more stable than Damian’s. I was confused by the fact that Damian never seemed to grow up in his character. I thought he would have learned a bit more about relationships as well as himself by the end but it did not feel that way to me.

So overall I liked the plot but not the relationship in it. That was a huge disappointment to me.
It was an o.k. read.

Review: Nate doesn’t believe in New Years resolutions. He doesn’t seem to believe in a lot of things to me. However he has a temptation that keeps coming for him, in the way of a young and sexy young man. Justin wants Nate in more ways then one. However he has a secret that he has been keeping. After one attempt at seducing Nate goes wrong, so does his night at home.

You can’t really go into details about stories like this without giving it away. I would have like to know more then what I got though, and wished this author made it a bit longer. But even the fierceness of Tyr’s tiger form couldn’t save Aaron from being torn apart when a mission went horribly wrong. Lost in his pain, Tyr remained feral until he was unwillingly recalled to Gaia’s service seventy years later.

In the forests of the night…

When fighter pilot Adam Carson’s plane was shot down, he thought the worst that could happen was being sent to a Nazi prison camp. Little did he know there were other monsters in the shadows, and one of them wanted to claim him. But refusing Elizabeth Bathory had a price. Adam was turned against his will and trapped in a coffin as punishment for his resistance.

What immortal hand or eye…

While hunting ghouls, Tyr and his colleagues discover Adam’s prison. Believing he could be an asset, Marielle Du Lac frees him. Adam joins the team and is drawn to Tyr, despite Tyr’s hatred of vampires. When Tyr rejects Adam out of fear, Adam accepts a suicidal mission to find Thrace, the original nosferatu. If their desperate plan works, the theriomorphs could destroy not only Elizabeth, but the sire of all vampires as well. But if it fails, they could unleash a force leading to the destruction of them all… and perhaps of Gaia herself.

Sander March is one season away from the pros, or so everyone tells him.

If only Sander had as much faith in his ability as the Cougar coaching staff does. Outwardly, he’s cocksure, borderline bitter, and slightly sarcastic. All that strut and sass hides a wounded soul though. Working to hide a brutal past filled with humiliation, abuse, and a family member who still haunts him, Sander has never found the kind of comfort and understanding he so desperately needs. Until he meets Mateo Castillo, a minor league baseball player for the nearby Elmira Egrets. Mateo and Sander click instantly, and a budding friendship develops between the two athletes.

Mateo then introduces Sander to his boyfriend, Noah Coombs, an aspiring manga comic creator. The three men find themselves bonding strongly, and that slowly gives way to sexual attraction. Eventually, Mateo and Noah invite Sander into their relationship. The path to happiness isn’t going to be easy for Sander as he faces criticism from his friends, teammates, and the press for his choices. The brash young star can handle all that, it’s when his abuser shows up in Cayuga that Sander fears not only for his own safety, but for the lives of the two men he has grown to love. Will Sander’s past tear him away from Mateo and Noah, or will he be able to leave the darkness behind?

Warning – This story has disturbing subject matter.

Blurb: Reverent Knight Drystan Kempe has no use for the rumors that have swirled around him for the past two centuries. There is no way he could be the former emperor of the dragons. All they share is a common name. After all, Emperor Drystan had a love that has become legendary since his death and the fallen knight Drystan is very much alone. As a man over six hundred years old, he’s waited impatiently for the other half of his soul. When he finally finds him, he is unamused to find him bearing the name of the former emperor’s mate.

Reverent Knight Conley Gylde is confident that whoever he was before his resurrection it has no bearing on this new beginning. When the pair finally become blood-bonded, they get a great deal more than they could have ever bargained for.

Review: The first 138 pages are about Coneley and Drystan’s meeting when they were younger, 17 and 19, and subsequent mating to the day they died. This part ends with the men as emperors and their death. I liked the details but felt it was drawn out too much as I kept thinking will we ever to get to the reason why the book is named what it is.

The next part begins after Latarian is killed, good riddance I say. I liked the look through Drystan and Conley lives. I felt that Drystan was too hard on Chand when his and Conley’s memories returned.

These two men were bigger than life before they were killed then resurrected. I found myself in awe of all they accomplished in their time period. I was devastated when their lives were taken by greedy Dukes.

I really like this series but still wish there were more action scenes in them.

Great read.

Blurb: Mark Noland can’t figure out how he got into such a fix. How does an ex-mercenary (okay, an almost-reformed mercenary) get himself caught, stuck in a holding cell, on a hostile alien planet? Held captive by strange bug-like creatures who’d just as soon eat him as look at him. How can a simple mission go so awry? To make matters worse, Noland’s not alone. His fellow prisoner, a certain high-ranking, elite Stella officer holds him responsible for their failed plan. Yeah, it was supposed to be a quick in and quick out sort of mission. But no… Officer Gavnson just can’t let it go.

It’s not so easy trying to plan an escape when Noland keeps getting distracted by how his mission partner so very nicely fills out his uniform. And he suspects Gavnson is hiding something, too. As tensions run high, secrets are revealed that will change the both of them. There’s nothing like gunfights and running for your life to make that special bond.

Review: Mark was raised by mercenaries and became one. He is now, however an ex-mercenary. It would seem he does have a soul. To bad he is in a prison cell on a hostile planet. And guess what, his cell mate is none other than an high-ranking and very elite officer who he has the hots for. An officer who is blaming it all on him.

Short and very hot is what I would say this was. No sex, just kissing but hey you take what you can get. These two argue just like they are married so who knows. This author was new to me, so I wasn’t to sure what I was getting. However it was a fun little jolt to the system.

Although I do hope they manage to get some skin action in book two.

Review: Two assassins after the same man. Eastman is hellbent on taking out those responsible for his lovers death many years before. He is on a mission to take out Russian Valentine who is Dom at Invitation Only and also his lovers brother. When he discovers the man is innocent he does all he can to stop the other assassin sent to carry out the hit.

What starts out as a battle of wits and wills turns into hot and steamy interludes until danger comes knocking. With the help of the Invitation Only staff can Eastman protect an innocent man or will death take him?

I really loved that two assassins got hot and heavy in this story. Danger, action and drama are a reality in this amazing journey to the finish. The person who took the hit out did not surprise me given who they were. I myself thought the man was insane.

Loved this story. Highly recommended.

Review: Each book in the Grumpy Werewolf features Cole and Evan. You get to see them meet, hookup, get married, and now a baby.

Grumpy boss, grumpy husband and now a grumpy child. This story is the continued story of our sexy werewolf and his mate. To get the full impact you need to read the first books.

Cole and Evan have been married a full year. They have had their ups and downs, and Cole is one moody human. Yet he calls his husband grumpy. Evan was his boss and now he is husband, things sure are a nice change. Anniversary time full of hot sex, chocolate, wine and what is that, a baby. A baby that has been left on their doorstep.

Freya is a werewolf baby whose mother was killed. The mother’s friend dropped her off, knowing how the werewolf community would work with an abandoned child. However when they find out who her father is, well lets just say things are going to get heated. Especially when it looks like that father was also the one that killed her, or is he. Things are going to get twisted real fast.

As always this author has given another amazing story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I do love the little twists that this one had going on. I was also quite surprised at Cole and a baby, talk about a messy blast. Action packed and hot sex, what more could another want, well how about murder.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Stephan’s Monster by Shelby Rhodes

Blurb: Jayden knows he’s a monster. The people he killed were horrible, but it didn’t change what he was. And being taken in by Stephan Everwood at fifteen hadn’t changed his homicidal tendencies. Yet ten years later he finds himself struggling to be someone he’s not. Then, despite thinking he lost most of his emotions years ago, Jayden discovers that not only is he not as empty inside as he thought, but that his monster is more present than ever before.

Stephan freely admits he has some issues. His self-doubts could be unrelenting and Stephan’s need to fix things tended to go too far. It blinded him to Jayden’s struggles. In the end his refusal to listen to what Jayden was trying to tell him has unfortunate results. When Stephan finally accepts who Jayden is, he must also face all that he had locked away inside.

Their difficulties brought them together. Their love healed them. And when the past tries to tear them apart, their darkness saved them.

Review: Stephan a lydus blood elf, takes in Jayden, a vampire with a burning rage and unique abilities. Jayden is a killer. But he only kills those that deserve it. Along the way he realizes he has feelings for Stephan which confuse him as he has only felt hatred and rage until then.

Stephan for his part may look sweet and innocent but when he is in a rage he unleashes power unlike anything anyone else has encountered. Both these men have had horrible abuse done to them as children and my heart went out to them both. I found that I liked them both as the story progressed. Stephan helped Jayden as much as he could. While at the same time Jayden helped Stephan.

Although this story has it’s dark moments I was still enthralled with plot. I could not put it down until the very end. Excellent addition to the series and highly recommended.
