Review: First time reading from this author, and I gotta say. I love these three short stories. The Hotel setting description is beautiful and it makes you think that you are there watching everything. With these short stories, there isn’t much romance, but the sex scenes are hot and steamy.

In Watch Me, you have two hotel clerks, Win, works the late-night shift and is a CPA, and Lucas the flirt, works the shift before him and is always a popular with the staff and guest. Win is dealing with a stressful matter at home and doesn’t know how to handle the situation and it’s stressing him out. Win’s jacket has a coffee stain on it and Lucas is nice enough to loan him his. He finds a note in the pocket which leads to a website and he’s shocked at what he sees. In this story, Win is attracted to Lucas but doesn’t want to do anything about it, he is a jealous twit and can’t get past all the rumors that he hears about Lucas.

In Wedded, there is Dave, who was told to be there for 8 o’clock, is sitting in the hotel’s bar having a drink. He’s been married for 25 years, but doesn’t want to think about that or his husband. He’ll suffer the consequences of this night tomorrow, he says. He takes off his married ring and feels that by taking it off, he doesn’t appreciate the years that he had while the ring was on. He loves his husband, but can’t discount that their married life lately has been boring, and he doesn’t know what to do. He sees this handsome man in the hotel’s bar, tall and broad shouldered. Dave is about to go on a clandestine meeting in one of the hotel’s room. I was hoping for and got the twist that this story took. I loved it.

In Wanted: Evan is under a table hiding from a shootout in the Mall, where he literally saw his life flash before his eyes. Months later, he wants to tick some things off his bucket list, the biggest one is having sweaty sex with a man, and he makes sure that his anxiety attacks won’t stop him. He puts up a notice on Craig’s list for a hook-up, but the person that he meets is a shock for him. Graham, was expecting to meet his sister, not knowing that his sister set him up on a blind date. I love the interaction between Evan and Graham. I loved the way they talked with each other. They’re open and honest with each other. Graham tell his about his cancer, and having one of his testicles removed. Oh wow, I absolutely love the connection that these two have and was sorry that their story ended. This author did not disappoint and I would gladly recommend this story.

Review: Each book in the Wingspan collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is connected to A Saint Lakes series so I would suggest reading those first.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across April awhile back when she had written the first book. I knew from that moment that she was going to be one of my favorite authors of all time, if not the top one. There is something about the way that she writes that not only draw you in but keeps you there. They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivate you throughout the whole story. For me once I start reading I can’t move until I find out how they end. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good old paranormal love story. There is just something about them, that even though they are not possible one would think different.

Caerwyn is having a difficult time with things. His parents died five months ago leaving him a ranch that was in debt, a brother who was in trouble and a mate that didn’t want him. What was a dragon to do, well he had to let go for one. When he was asked to go to Saint Lakes to help them out, he had not expected to see his mate, nor for his mate to run.

Rory is a bear shifter who loves to be alone. After his first shift, he had left his mother to make his own way. Now he has seen his mate, and his damn ass was going to have to make a decision.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Review: Grayson has been searching for the woman who is to be his mate and is shocked when it is apparent it’s a man named Reagan instead. They meet when Reagan falls asleep at the wheel of his car and gets in an accident. Grayson takes him home to patch him up. From the beginning Reagan feels something is different.

Now I liked the story but I would have liked further details regarding the mating marks and the background on the couple who started it all. I felt Grayson should have informed Reagan about himself “before” sleeping with the man and mating him.

Overall it was a good beginning to a series and nice set up interwoven for the next book. Good read.

But they had just tried to hide it, that is until one of his friends was caught and his father was going to kill him. Buying a rundown town sounded good, but with the ones who wanted them all dead hunting them, it might not be enough. Then to top it off he has found his mate.

Nole had left his home because he was gay. He knew if he didn’t that they would kill him. They were out there hunting him for god sakes. Then the home he found to hide in was over taken by a bunch of cats, he figured his little mouse ass should get the hell out of there. However that meant he would not be with his mate. If you want to know what happens, read the book.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Shea awhile back when she had written the first book. I knew from that moment that she was going to be one of my favorite authors of all time, if not the top one. There is something about the way that she writes that not only draw you in but keeps you there. She gives you hot sex, lots of love and tenderness, mixed in with excitement, adventure and lots of dangerous situations.

They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivate you throughout the whole story. Jari had been friends with Nole at one time, that was until the alpha fooled him. He realized that he was being played when the alpha killed his cousin in front of him. He didn’t know away out. Then his alpha planned on using him to find Nole and he was screwed. He would either die or be captured. Then the unexpected happened, he found his mate.

Lucca wasn’t too sure if he could trust the little mouse, but he knew he wanted him. Too bad the ones after them all wanted them dead, and he knew he would protect this sexy little man. It does get real juicy but you’re going to have to read the book to find out.

Review: Wow, I must say I was sceptical about liking this book when I started reading it but I must say I was pleased with the way it progressed. Nox has been living in his own world since his brother Joth murdered his family and left Nox for dead at Fourteen. He has learned to trust no one and rely on himself with no interactions with the pack. I have to say I understood the reasoning when it comes out the pack went on a mission to hunt him down and kill him thinking he went rogue.

I felt someone should have tried to talk to him before it got to that point in the first place as after all he was a victim as well when Joth severely wounded him. Now I did take issue with the way Nox’s mate, Dio, handled Nox after his meeting with his brother. It seemed to me he forced Nox to have sex with him and hardly said a word to him. I realize he was unsure with how to deal with his mate but that certainly was not the way to have sex for the first time in my opinion. Aside from those little details it was a great story about one man who was destroyed by betrayal at the deepest level and how a man and his pack slowly helped him find his way out of the dark that he was in.

This story is truly impressive and thoughtful. Joth’s treatment was eye opening as was his attitude toward his brother at first. The pack seriously let Nox down when he was a teenager but attempted to turn things around for good in the end.

Fantastic read. Highly recommended.

Review: I cannot express how much this story touched me. Milo is an out and proud gay man until he is brutally beaten and left for dead. While recovering from his harrowing ordeal in a hospital he discovers he is no longer proud as he cowers at everything as result of what happened. It truly pissed me off to no end that people think they have the right to do bodily harm to someone simply because they do not agree with their sexuality.

Milo gets a new job working for Liam. For all outward appearances Liam is straight. But that is not true. Liam is in the closet and has no plans to come out. When he learns of what happened to Milo he grows closer to the man.

This story is a wonderful tale of two men who fight the odds in an uncertain world and find comfort and shelter in the other’s arms. It moved me beyond words. I felt my heart cry out for these two as the story unfolded.

Fantastic read and highly recommended.

Review: This story is a spin off series from the Cloverleah Pack. It is said that it could be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading Cloverleah Pack series first. You will get introduced to many of the characters that you will come across in this new series.

Madison had not had a very good childhood and it was until he was taken in by Damien’s pack that he was finding a bit of peace. That didn’t mean shit went right for the man though, he was at first a sub for the man but now he was Damien’s PA. Everything from small to huge fell on Madison’s shoulders. Basically he ran the whole club, but because he was a sub no one took him seriously. Some even called him frigid and stuck up, that is until, and well you’re just going to have to read the book. Let me tell you more about his mate.

Sebastian is the son of Thanatos. Now Thanatos is basically the angel of death and this sexy man has his own story added onto this amazing book. But back to our pain in the ass Sebastian. That man was going to throw his mate away, because his dumbass was in love with another, and get this that man has been dead for a very, very long time. But fate knows what she is talking about and well Sebastian is going to have to kiss ass to make up for his screw-ups. Want to know more, read this book.

I have read many stories by this author, and let’s just say this one was a hit just like the rest. It has a serious tone to it, but the humor is found throughout. I wanted to kick someone’s ass, but Madison did it for me. I had quite a bit of fun reading this and would definitely recommend it.

Review: This story is the first book in this amazing series and it does hint about the next story, however it can be read as a standalone. However in my opinion I would read it just like any other series.

I have read many stories by this amazing author in her other pen name, Lisa Oliver. Her stories have a way of getting to you, and the characters just make you want to cuddle up with them as well. Now we know that paranormal’s are not real life, but the way they are told you would think they were. Each conflict that a character has, you will actually find in real life. Such as our sexy little Aiden.

Aiden’s mother passed during his birth, leaving his father to raise him. His grandmother when she died left him a trust fund, but his father won’t give it to him until he passes one camp course. What Aiden doesn’t realize is something else is going on as well. He also finds out that the one leading the camp is his mate.

Ranger is the strongest and deadliest of all assassins. He doesn’t know why he was to lead this training group but he is bound to find out. What he doesn’t expect is one of the young recruits to be his mate. To top it off this is a camp to train future assassins, but none of the group know it. You survive or you don’t, but damn if there is something shady going on. He has been asked to assassinate his own mate and you can guess who is behind it.

Now I had understood that this was not a spin off from any of Lee’s other series, but I would like to know about Shadow’s story. It doesn’t come off as fluid as many of her other stories does and seems a bit off. The romance part is not as sensuous as one would expect and the sex scene is not what one would have expected. It didn’t develop like the way I would have liked. Now other than those issues I had with it, let’s just say I was not let down at all. The guys are downright drool worthy and I loved the little twist this one had. Ranger is one sexy assassin that can kill with well you know. Aiden doesn’t really come off as an alpha, and is a bit of a push-over, but I can see him in the future with his pack.

The secondary characters are a hit with me, and I would like to know who has Cam’s underwear in a twist, but will have to wait till the next story. I do wish for a bit more into these guys past and how they got to where they are now though. Overall this story was fun, suspenseful and I had a blast with it. It had quite a bit of meat to it which was surprising for a one hundred page story.

I have always loved Lisa (aka Lee)’s stories and will continue to be. I can’t wait to read the next book. This one was a hit with me.

Review: Over the years one gets use to certain books and they have an expectation of what they would like to read. Now I have read several stories by this author and have pretty much loved them all. However this one I had just a few issues with it. The other thing was I don’t mind books that continue about the same character as the previous book; however they lose their lustre with me. I seem to lose interest in them just as fast.

Now in this one we have Alex getting ready to move his little omega mate in with him. However it would seem Jonah has been keeping some secrets and it just might get him in trouble. Although the trouble he would get from his mate, he might like that kind. Our poor little Jonah has zero confidence and trust. He thinks his alpha is going to lose interest in him, and Alex is just going to have to well if you want to know what Alex needs to do, read the book.

Now I like the whole omega and alpha story but this one takes it a bit too far for my taste. I mean Jonah comes off as a very weak young man who is too needy. Whereas Alex is the mean, powerful alpha who just adores his mate, which is great. However I feel that there is something really missing between these two. I mean omega’s might be smaller and might be weaker than the others, but to make him come off like he did just didn’t really work for me. I was not as into this book as I should have been and that was a big disappointment.
