Nigel wouldn’t mind if Asher called him Daddy if the age-gap didn’t bother him so much.

Nigel Blackburn has lived a full like as a private investigator. His job means he travels solo a lot, which is something he enjoys. He’s a grouchy, stubborn dragon shifter who is better off alone. The last thing he wants is a mate and certainly not one so young. It doesn’t matter that he finds little bobcat shifter, Asher Burkhart, sexy. But all Nigel’s dragon wants to do is protect, which is good because danger drives into town.

Series Blurb:

Wingspan used to be normal. It was just a small dragon shifter town until a bear showed up. He was just the beginning. Between rescuing vampires and bobcat shifters, and the Wingspan resident whose mate is a pregnant male bat shifter, Wingspan isn’t just dragon shifters anymore. They didn’t mean to be all-inclusive, and now everyone has to get along. It’s easy said than done.

Blurb: To find his family, Damian’s forced to take a journey through his past and drag his mate long with him.

Working for one tyrant after another made Damian lose sight of what’s important. That is until he has a vision of his long lost siblings getting killed. To find them in time, Damian must do things he’s never done before, like rely on others and put his mate, Owen, into dangerous situations. He also must go back to the one tyrant he never wanted to face again. His father.

ISBN: B07SFYVWGB

Product Link: Amazon US | Amazon UK

Reviewer: Lisa

Review: Damian followed his mom’s advice. He gave himself over to his father, after he killed many of his father’s people, to save his little brothers. He learned to kill but in doing so he lost the hope of ever trusting anyone, except for his mate. Then he got a vision of his father finding his brothers and them dying. He needed to find them and keep them safe. The alpha of Saint Lakes decided Damian needed his mate to go with him.

Owen was a sweet eagle shifter and was falling in love with his mate. Even if his mate was a cranky vampire shifter who loved to kill. He has some major problem getting over that but he knows in his heart that Damian will be ok. They needed to save Damian’s little brothers but he also knows it will take the pack to do it.

It has been a very long time since I have read one of these stories so it got a bit confusing trying to figure out who was who. So the first thing I would stress on is to read the books in order. The characters were quite enjoyable, however Owen will be my favorite of all the characters in this story, although Damian’s brothers are adorable. The worlds that this author creates are always unique and fresh. The story will catch your attention until the end, well for me this is how it was.

I felt that the story dragged out a bit more than it was needed however fun as it was. I didn’t much care for the jumping from different characters as it did though. That was the only part that drove me nuts. It did have a darker tone then the previous books but was still good. Other than that it was an enjoyable read that I would definitely recommend.

Blurb: For fated mates, going from friends to lovers should be a smooth transition, but Ladon and Magnus have never had things easy.

At twenty years old, Ladon knows he’s too young to be Saint Lakes’ Alpha, but no one listens. Not even his mate, Magnus, and he’s Ladon’s best friend. Magnus is out of town on a dangerous investigative mission when Ladon shifts for the first time. They’ve waited years for this day, because they couldn’t bond until it happened. Almost as soon as it does, Magnus goes MIA, leaving Ladon to wonder if it just isn’t in the cards for them.

Review: Each book in the Saint Lakes collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Ladon is one hell of a powerful dragon shifter and he hasn’t even shifted yet. He knows who his mate is, but his mate has a few issues. One is Ladon’s age, he is a twenty year old who is going to be the alpha of their crazy family. A family that is more than one kind of paranormal. When Magnus goes missing after an argument with Ladon, Ladon has no clue what to do.

Magnus is pretty much the investigator for them all and will kill when needed. He can get into any place without trouble but trouble finds him. This is one mating that is not so easy.

I love this series but I will admit that Ladon doesn’t come off as an alpha. He might have the power to back it, but his emotions sure do get him into trouble. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. You get action, danger, excitement, and some hot sexy times in this story and much more. I would say Magnus needs his ass kicked by his mate, but then again the same could be said for Ladon.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend not only this book but this author.

He’s far too busy working two jobs and taking care of his six younger siblings. When Craig’s mate comes crashing into the diner kitchen, where he’s a cook, his life gets even more complicated.

As the oldest vampire in existence, Zadimus has spent a lot of his years alone and liked it. Zadimus never thought his introverted nature would ever be a problem until he meets his mate’s family.

Review: Craig is a cute little turtle shifter who has had a rough life. His parents are emotionally stunted when it comes to him and his siblings. He is usually the one that is taking care of them. Then in walks his sexy vampire mate, Zad. Things might be looking up this Christmas.

You can’t really go into detail about stories like this without giving the whole story away. It is a very entertaining story that I can see myself reading more than once. My attention had been caught from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

The characters are quite quirky and sexy as hell. I really wished the story had been longer, because I would have love to see how they all turned out.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can guarantee that you will too.

Blurb: Finding a mate is supposed to be one of the most magical moments of a bat shifter’s life. For poor Lake Truman, it’s a disaster. His mate’s rejection would have killed the magic all by itself, but the dead body cinches the whole thing.

Bryson Caill just ended a long-term relationship and moved back to his childhood home. He wants to put the pieces of his life back together before entering another relationship. But what he wants and what he gets are two very different things.

Review: This series is a spin-off of Finding Happy, which is part of the Wingspan series, book two. The events in this book follows the same time line as those in Finding Happy.

Bat shifters are a strange breed. When they first meet their mates it makes the bat shifter blind until they get it on and mate. So when Lake finds his mate he knew what to expect. Lake, his brother and best friend snuck out of their home to go drinking. He had not expected to find his mate before even walking into the building. Nor had he expected his mate to act the way he did.

Bryson is a human raised by bat shifter moms and pretty much knew all that happened with being a bat shifter. He had just moved back home after a disaster of a relationship and had not expected to find out that he is a mate. He was still in love with his ex, or so he thinks. With that going on and the murders it looks like their little town just got a new deputy. Now if only he can figure out his mating.

I have always loved April’s stories ever since she put out her first book. I am amazed at the worlds she creates and the characters just make the book rock. They are quirky and charming, even the humans. You get adventure, danger, excitement and maybe some sexy times in this book and so much more.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Saint Lakes collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Jules was mated to one evil vampire whose wife had made it impossible for them to mate. Thanks to a warlock, the bond was destroyed. To bad he was not bonded to the warlock and the warlock’s mate. A mate that didn’t want him, and to top it off they left him behind when they ran. Now time has gone past and he had been rescued only to be forced to live near them. Talk about a storm about to rise up.

Tommy knew that fate had a way of righting the wrongs. To bad his stubborn mate Hacen didn’t think so well. Tommy was the warlock that broke the bond and somehow turned Jules into their mate. Hacen was a prejudice asshat who is the most stubborn. Time is coming for them too, well if you want to know more read the book.

This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I must admit that this was not my favorite of the stories, but it was still interesting to read. What is better than two sexy men, three with attitudes. The characters are quite feisty and sexy as hell. I will also admit that I didn’t much care for the beginning of the story, it just felt like it left a part of the story out. However it didn’t really take away from the story to much.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Roguefalls collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is part of the 2017 Mile High City Collection

Parker is very unusual for a human. He also doesn’t believe what other humans believe. He joins the paranormal Rogue Army to help the paranormal’s fight and protect. His very first mission is going to be with the one man that turns him on like crazy. Nice that the man just so happens to be his mate as well.

I love how this author can make a short story seem a bit longer with more details put into it. Although I do wish that it was longer because I would have loved more about his pretty amazing couple. Mimic is a skinwalker which is pretty cool and something I didn’t know about. I also loved that even though he was the paranormal, he doesn’t come off as one big alpha type.

This was a fun story to read about and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

Review: Each book in the Roguefalls collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.  They are entertaining and have just the right mix of feelings in them. There is also quite a bit of danger or excitement in it as well.

Christian is a human in a paranormal army.  His mother was a single mom who had a difficult time making it easy; in fact she made his life pretty hard in a way.  So he looks on other people to be similar in certain things.  Family and mates would leave him behind, so he pushes them away.  That is until he finds himself a mate to an alpha wolf.

Ward only came down to check on his baby brother, not to find his mate.  A stubborn man he never knew before, yet he is the exact same way.  These two fit perfectly, but as one can guess it is going to take, well I am going to let you read the story to figure it out.

Now with this story and series, there really is no action other than with mates.  I am a bit disappointed with that.  I was hoping for something major to happen, but basically it is just a story about two guys who are hot for each other and are stubborn asshat’s at the same time.  Now that doesn’t mean the story doesn’t rock because it does, I was just hoping for a bit more bite to it.  I did enjoy reading it and look forward to the next book.

A human soldier and an omega wolf shifter find out they’re mates in a world where segregation between humans and paranormals is standard operating procedure.

Dylan Kole knows how to do one thing, and that’s to be a soldier in the human army. He doesn’t know how to fit in with a bunch of paranormal beings, and he certainly doesn’t know how to be a mate to Rudy Malone, the only omega wolf shifter on Roguefalls Island. One thing Dylan does have going for him is his ability to follow his instincts.

Review: I came across April a few months back with her first series came out, and she soon became a favorite of mine.  The worlds she creates are so unique and different then many that are out there that it is an enjoyment when I get my hands on her books.  The characters are fully developed and have a bit of a bite to them.  To top it off they are so damn sexy, makes me want to go out and find one for myself.

In this world humans are segregated away from the paranormal’s.  The humans have their army and the paranormal’s have theirs, although that is about to change.  Dylan was kicked out of his home for being gay.  Thanks to a nice sheriff, he was told to go to the human recruiters and join.  He knew he was destined to die. Then sometime later, he was being given to the paranormal’s army to figure a way to bring them together.

Rudy is the one and only omega for the paranormal’s army.  He just wanted to get away from his nutty and over protective older brother.  He was their best damn cook, but all that changed when in walked two humans.  One of those humans just so happens to be his mate.  Wow, talk about a shock to them all.

The only complaint I have, is I wished they were longer because I didn’t want to put the book down.  Even right now after having finished it, I want to go read it again.  It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.  This story gave me everything I could want in a good story and I cannot wait till the next book gets here.  Way to go April!

Review:  Each book in the Saint Lakes collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.  This series is connected to the Wingspan series but I would suggest reading this series first.

My mother got me started reading romance stories at a pretty young age and it just seem to click with me from the first one.  It wasn’t until about two years after I started reading that I realized I actually liked the paranormal ones the best.  Then close to four years ago I accidentally downloaded two m/m romance stories.  Let’s just say once I got over the shock, I started reading more and more of them.  So much so that I cannot read any books with girly parts in them.  My mother got a kick out of that at least.

When April wrote her very first book and I got my hands on it, I knew that she was going to be a big hit with me and I was right.  Her characters are unique and very fresh to me.  Also her worlds just seem to hit with my desires.  I knew from that point on that she was going to be an automatic buy from that point on.  I have not been let down yet.

There is something about the way that she writes, that not only draw you in but keeps you there.  They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. They not only entertain you but captivate you throughout the whole story. For me once I start reading I can’t move until I find out how they end. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.  The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down.

You don’t come across many books where the characters are dragons so imagine my delight when I found out that they were in April’s stories.  Garridan is a powerful dragon shifter who had just lost his best friend.  His friend and his wife left behind a beautiful young boy who was afraid to let him out of his sight, but Garridan knew he had to find out who was behind the killings and end them.  Too bad for him, he hadn’t counted on being caught and kept for many years.  That is until he is found and rescued over forty years later, nor to find his mate.

The ones that had Garridan had also kidnapped his mate, Sage.  The things done to Sage is horrific and evil, but between the two of them well you will just have to read the book to find out more.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across April awhile back when she had written the first book.  I knew from that moment that she was going to be one of my favorite authors of all time, if not the top one. There is something about the way that she writes that not only draw you in but keeps you there.  They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them. Her characters are also very fascinating and unique to me.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. To me there is nothing better than a good old paranormal love story.  There is just something about them, that even though they are not possible one would think different.

Caerwyn is having a difficult time with things.  His parents died five months ago leaving him a ranch that was in debt, a brother who was in trouble and a mate that didn’t want him.  What was a dragon to do, well he had to let go for one.  When he was asked to go to Saint Lakes to help them out, he had not expected to see his mate, nor for his mate to run.

Rory is a bear shifter who loves to be alone.  After his first shift, he had left his mother to make his own way.  Now he has seen his mate, and his damn ass was going to have to make a decision.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. Review: Each book in the Demon Elite collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. To fully get into this story I would suggest reading the Lakehouse Security series first.

In these books what makes them even more special is the fact that most of the guys have a bad past life. They don’t trust fully until you prove that you can be trusted. Liam and Wolf are just like that. Liam has not had the best home life and the one person he loves is his little brother. So when Finn stopped calling he knew something was up, he just hadn’t expected to be caught up in it also. Now he needed help for them both.

Wolf found Finn and a few other hostages in a broken down home. When he rescues Finn, he realizes that Finn’s brother is in just as much trouble. However when he takes on look at Liam he knew that this was going to be his man. He just had to get him to believe him. Because damn his little man is one hell of a feisty firecracker.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When April puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

One huge fight changed Seth’s life forever.

Seth Murray just might be the most stubborn man on the face of this plant. He refused to move back to Pickleville because of one fight with his father. That is until he gets a call saying that his dad has passed away suddenly. The first person Seth thinks about is the one man he gave up because of his stubborn pride. Five years ago, all Seth wanted was to be with Carter. Now he doesn’t know what he wants. And Carter has his own life. One that Seth certainly didn’t see coming when he finally reconnects with the man again. One that revolves around a certain blonde haired, blue-eyed little girl that completely melts Seth’s heart the minute he meets her.

Review: Each book in the Pickleville collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Robyn had been so in love with Caden five years ago, but that changed the moment Caden left him to join the military. He had pretty much abandoned him. So when he saw Caden, for the first time in five years he knew he was in trouble. It seems his heart didn’t want to let the man go. Didn’t mean he had to go easy.

Caden had loved Robyn when they were younger, but not like he should have. He had wanted to get away and learn about himself. That and he needed money for college. What he learned was that he missed the man more than he had expected. He realized it almost too late. Now he had some serious ass to kiss.

When these two get together they set the sheets on fire and cause every one a bit of friction burns.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by April. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down.

Aiden has been in love with Justin for some time now. The problem is Justin chooses his job every time over him. He feels like it is killing him, so he finally ends it. After a year and a half, Justin is getting his shit together. Justin wants his man, and now he has to prove that he has changed. Then the danger comes for Aiden and Justin has to get him back. He will do everything he can to show Aiden that he means what he says. When these two get together they set the sheets on fire and cause everyone a bit of friction burns.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When April puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Blurb: Unrequited love really sucked sometimes, especially when you’re stuck with them for
days.

Danny Newell has loved Locke for six years. Every time they have to work together that love grows just a little bit more desperate. Of course, it would be easier if Locke gave him the time of day. When Danny gets a phone call late at night and goes out on a mission by himself, the last person he expects to go after him is Locke. Being stuck on a mission with a man who despises him is not his favorite thing, to say the least.

Danny has been in love with Locke for over six years, but Locke didn’t return that love. Or so that is the way he thought. So when one of the guys they had saved, called them for help Danny was going to save the kid. The problem was Danny was not field trained, he was the computer expert. So to his surprise and pain, it was Locke that came to help him.

Locke wanted Danny but he was scared to death. Then when Danny went to help the kid, he knew he needed help. Danny would get his ass killed if he wasn’t careful and Locke wanted to be the one to help him and keep him safe. He was falling in love with the man, and knew once he did there was no going back.

This book gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more. I just wished that there were more to read, I absolutely hate having to wait for the next story. I loved this one and cannot wait for the next amazing story. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. When Kelley puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Hot damn April has written another amazing story. I had not heard of April Kelley till I started reading this series and I was amazed with the stories she comes up with.

The guys at the ranch have so much compassion and love that it makes you wish you were right there with them. I have books that are in my favorite list, and it wasn’t till I actually started reading this series, that I knew I needed to revise that list. Now I have my top five favorite paranormals and my top five contemporaries. This is one of my top five contemporaries.

There is something about this story that had me in tears. The fear that Dakota had felt for over three years makes you wish you were there to rip the man who hurt him apart. Three years ago he had basically a one night stand that turned dangerous. He had a stalker. Running has left him without a home and friends. He had to leave his family behind to stay alive. Now he has found a home that he wants to keep but fear keeps him from the man that he wants. Then he realizes that without Jackson, he was just an empty shell.

Jackson had always had one night stands, never settling with just one person. That stopped when Dakota came to work on the farm. He wanted him, but for some reason the man kept his distance from Jackson. Then the truth came out, and Jackson wants blood. He will do everything to keep his man safe.

It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. When Kelley puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Blurb: Timing is everything when it comes to love, especially when it’s so far off.

He’s also had a crush on Royce, his boss, since the day he met him, not that he would ever admit it. Luis can tell Royce finds him attractive, and they even kiss, but Royce constantly pushes him away, which doesn’t help his inner struggles. When it comes to relationships, timing is everything.

Review: Each book in the Pickleville collection will feature a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Luis and his brothers had basically been raised in hell. His father had been molesting his older brother and the one time he tried on Luis’ brother Brad had beat him close to death. He goes to the house once a month to make his father stay away. Even though his father had not had a chance to rape him, he did torture him pretty bad. He had scars on his back from it. Now to get over the pain he lives he cuts himself. He knew he needed help. Not to mention he loved his boss, but to bad his boss had no clue.

Royce was attracted to Luis, but Luis was so young he didn’t make a move. Hell he didn’t even know Luis wanted him till Kyler spilled the beans. He wanted Luis, but it was still all about their ages. He had gone over to talk to him about it after a slight argument. He had not known too much about Luis’s past, but the moment he found out he was there for him. He just had to make the decision that Luis’s was his.

This story is actually one that comes off real. It tells about sexual abuse to a child, what they do to get away and what they will do to protect each other. It will have your heart in tears through parts of this story, but like I said before it will have you laughing at parts also. I think that April can give you a story that will bring you to tears and have you wishing that you could be the one to rescue them. I loved these brothers and their lovers. They come off with so much feeling that it will have you feeling it also. I loved this book.

I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When April puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.
